1Numerical simulation for the coupling effect of local atmospheric circulations over the area of Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei Province显示文摘Using the model system MM5.V3 and multi-layer grid nesting technique, we have done a multi-scale numerical simulation over the area of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei Province to analyze the temperature and wind field there and study its local circulations. The results show a coupling effect of Urban Heat Island Circulation (UHIC), Mountain Valley Breeze (MVB) and Sea Land Breeze (SLB) occurs in this area when the synoptic system is weak. The SLB can penetrate deep into the mainland for about 200 km when it is blooming. MVB can extend to south and cover almost the whole plain area in Beijing. Both MVB and SLB are diurnal periodical; meanwhile the phase of MVB drops behind that of SLB for about six hours. As a local circulation, the UHIC weakens the two circulations above, and it also has a diurnal period. As a result, the coupling effect of circulations reveals not only different features in spring-summer period and autumn-winter period in a year but also the difference between early morn- ing to noonday and afternoon to night in a day. We noted the diffusion of contamination over the area around Beijing, and found the steady presence of a transport routine of contamination over North-China throughout the year caused by the Coupling Effect mentioned above. 3On the boundary slip of fluid flow显示文摘This paper presents a stress controlled boundary slip model and predicts the fluid-solid interface slip in a system of parallel sliding plates or a sphere approaching a smooth plane. The numerical simulation results are in striking agreement with the existing experimental observations. This model assumes that there is a limiting shear stress. No slip occurs if the surface shear stress is smaller than the limiting shear stress, and slip occurs when the surface shear stress equals it. It is found that boundary slip dramatically decreases the hydrodynamic pressure if the two squeezed surfaces have the same slip property. Finally, the hydrodynamic force reaches a saturation status and almost does not decrease any more. Compared with the no-slip solution, hydrodynamic force is found to decrease by over two orders in the case of boundary slip. When the squeezed surfaces have different slip properties, however, the hydrodynamic pressure is mainly controlled by the surface having a smaller surface limiting shear stress, and reduces more slowly compared with the case of two surfaces having the same slip property. 4Effect of ferrovanadium inoculation on microstructure and properties of high speed steel显示文摘The effect of ferrovanadium inoculation on the microstructure and properties of high speed steel (HSS) used for rolls was studied. The results showed that the as-cast eutectic carbide network tends to be broken after ferrovanadium inoculation, and the carbides are changed to rod-like or nodular shape. After heat treatment, the carbides in the inoculated HSS are spheroidized and distributed more uniformly in the matrix. The impact toughness of high speed steel with ferrovanadium inoculation is obviously improved. 6Hydrodynamics of slip wedge and optimization of surface slip property显示文摘The hydrodynamic load support generated by a slip wedge of a slider bearing was studied. The surface slip property was optimized so that a maximum hydrodynamic load support could be obtained. A multi-linearity method was given for the slip control equation of two-dimensional (2-D) wall slip. We investigated 2-D wall slip and the hydrodynamics of a finite length bearing with any values of the surface limiting shear stress. It was found that the hydrodynamic effect of the slip wedge is greater than the traditional geometrical convergent-wedge. Even though the geo- metrical gap is a parallel or divergent sliding gap, the slip wedge still gives rise to a very big hydrodynamic pressure. The optimized slip wedge can give rise to a hy- drodynamic load support as high as 2.5 times of what the geometrical conver- gent-wedge can produce. 7Role of surface defects of carbon nanotubes on catalytic performance of barium promoted ruthenium catalyst for ammonia synthesis显示文摘Carbon nanotubes(CNTs) with abundant surface defects are prepared by a liquid oxidation and thermal annealing method. The defective CNTs-D supported Ba–Ru/CNTs-D catalysts exhibit superior catalytic performance in ammonia synthesis with a TOF be increased up to 0.30 s-1, which is 2.5 times of oxidized CNTs-O supported Ba–Ru/CNTs-O catalysts and 5 times of the Ba–Ru/CNTs. The characterizations by CO chemisorption, transmission electron microscope, Raman, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy revealed that the uniformly well dispersed Ru NPs can be stabilized on the defective sites of CNTs-D. 8Leachability and fractionation of heavy metals in stainless steelmaking plant dusts显示文摘The leachability and fractionation of the selected heavy metals (Cr, Cd, Pb and Zn) in the stainless steelmaking plant dusts were studied by the modified HJ/T299-2007 method, the modified TCLP test and a seven-step sequential extraction procedure. The results show that the stainless steelmaking plant dusts are considered as hazardous materials since at least one of the leachable heavy metals exceeds the corresponding limit levels of State Environmental Protection Administration of China. Pb is the most extractable heavy metals by the sequential extraction procedure, while Cr, Cd and Zn mainly presents in the residual fraction bound to spinel phase and silicates. 18Effect of Hydrogen on Cryogenic Mechanical Properties of Cr-Ni-Mn-N Austenitic Steels显示文摘The method of high-pressure hydrogen charging was used to investigate the internal hydrogeneffects on cryogenic mechanical properties of two Cr-Ni-Mn-N austenitic steels, 22-13-5 and21-6-9. Specimens saturated with hydrogen up to 65×10-6~68×10-6 were tested in air attemperatures ranging from 77 to 293 K. Hydrogen caused the increase in cryogenic strength,both yield strength and ultimate tensile strength. Hydrogen decreased cryogenic ductility, andthe maximum hydrogen embrittlement (HE) tendency was found at a certain low temperature.Cr-Ni-Mn-N auStenitic Steels showed the featuref δL > ΨL at low temperatures, here, δL and ΨLare the hydrogen induced loss rates of elongation and reduction of area, respectively. Hydrogenhad less effect on cryogenic Charpy impact toughness and notched tensile strength, however,hydrogen decreased cryogenic fracture toughness of the steels.
