1Numerical simulation of gas flow process in mining-induced crack network显示文摘The exploitation of coal bed methane or coal gas is one of the most effective solutions of the problem of coal gas hazard.A better understanding of gas flow in mining-induced cracks plays an important role in comprehensive development and utilization of coal gas as well as prevention of coal gas hazard.This paper presents a case study of gas flow in mining-induced crack network regarding the situation of low permeability of coal seam.A two-dimensional physical model is constructed on the basis of geological background of mining face No.1122(1) in coal seam No.11-2,Zhangji Coal Mine,Huainan Mining Group Corporation.The mining-induced stress and cracks in overburden rocks are obtained by simulating an extraction in physical model.An evolution of mining-induced cracks in the process of advancing of coal mining face is characterized and three typical crack networks are taken from digital photos by means of image analysis.Moreover,the numerical software named COMSOL Multiphysics is employed to simulate the process of gas flow in three representative crack networks.Isograms of gas pressure at various times in mining-induced crack networks are plotted,suggesting a shape and dimension of gas accumulation area.Zhou Hongwei Liu Jinfeng Xue Dongjie Yi Haiyang Xue Junhua 2012International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2012,22,6:14
2A wearable noncontact free-rotating hybrid nanogenerator for self-powered electronics显示文摘Self-powerability is a new trend in the development of portable devices.Harvesting biomechanical energy to power personal information electronics is of great significance.In this work,we report a wearable noncontact freerotating hybrid nanogenerator(WRG),which is constituted by a triboelectric nanogenerator and an electromagnetic generator.A continuous output over 2 seconds can be achieved during one instantaneous incentive by external force,which is improved by two orders of magnitude compared to other wearable nanogenerators due to its unique mechanical energy storage design.The WRG can be integrated into shoes to generate an output energy of 14.68 mJ in each stepping,which meets the power requirements of most personal information electronics.The wireless sensor,GPS,and smartphone can be powered by the WRG continuously.The WRG is expected to be applied in self-powered information electronics extensively in the future.Dongjie Jiang Han Ouyang Bojing Shi Yang Zou Puchuan Tan Xuecheng Qu Shengyu Chao Yuan Xi Chaochao Zhao Yubo Fan Zhou Li 2020InfoMat2020,2,6:8
3Spatial correlation-based characterization of acoustic emission signal-cloud in a granite sample by a cube clustering approach显示文摘To extract more in-depth information of acoustic emission(AE)signal-cloud in rock failure under triaxial compression,the spatial correlation of scattering AE events in a granite sample is effectively described by the cube-cluster model.First,the complete connection of the fracture network is regarded as a critical state.Then,according to the Hoshen-Kopelman(HK)algorithm,the real-time estimation of fracture con-nection is effectively made and a dichotomy between cube size and pore fraction is suggested to solve such a challenge of the one-to-one match between complete connection and cluster size.After,the 3D cube clusters are decomposed into orthogonal layer clusters,which are then transformed into the ellip-soid models.Correspondingly,the anisotropy evolution of fracture network could be visualized by three orthogonal ellipsoids and quantitatively described by aspect ratio.Besides,the other three quantities of centroid axis length,porosity,and fracture angle are analyzed to evaluate the evolution of cube cluster.The result shows the sample dilatancy is strongly correlated to four quantities of aspect ratio,centroid axis length,and porosity as well as fracture angle.Besides,the cube cluster model shows a potential pos-sibility to predict the evolution of fracture angle.So,the cube cluster model provides an in-depth view of spatial correlation to describe the AE signal-cloud.Dongjie Xue Zepeng Zhang Cheng Chen Jie Zhou Lan Lu Xiaotong Sun Yintong Liu 2021International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2021,31,4:5

5Coupling mechanism between mining-induced deformation and permeability of coal显示文摘The coupling mechanism between mining-induced mechanical behavior and gas permeability of coal is effectively obtained in laboratory.This study means significant understanding of the prevention of coal-gas outburst.The testing samples of coal were drilled from the 14120 mining face at the depth of690 m.Based on the redistribution of stress during the excavation,the coupling test between mechanical state and seepage has been designed using the triaxial servo-controlled seepage equipment for thermofluid-solid coupling of coal containing methane.It is the result that there are two main factors influencing the mining-induced mechanical behavior of coal,such as the change ofσ_1-σ_3 andΔσ_1-Δσ_3.The failure mode mainly depends on the value ofσ_1-σ_3,and the peak strength value mainly depends on the value ofΔσ_1-Δσ_3.The difference of mechanical response between geostress and mining-induced stress has been obtained,which can be a theoretical support for safe mining such as reasonable gas drainage,prevention of coal-gas outburst and gas over-limit.Xue Dongjie Zhou Hongwei Wang Chaosheng Li Dongping 2013International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2013,23,6:3
6Deformation analysis of transversely isotropic coal-rock mass with porous and cracks显示文摘Coal-rock as a typical sedimentary rock has obvious stratification,namely it has transversely isotropic feature.Meanwhile,deformation leads to coal-rock mass having the characteristics of different porous and crack structures as well as local anisotropy.Equivalent axial and circumferential strain' formulas of the pure coal-rock mass specimen with a single crack were derived through the establishment of equivalent mechanical model of standard cylindrical coal-rock specimen,and have been widely used to a variety of media combined different structures containing multiple cracks.The complete stress strain curve of a real coal-rock specimen was obtained by the CTC test.Additionally,according to the comparison with the theoretical value,the theoretical mechanical model could well explain the deformation characteristics of coal-rock mass and verify its validity.Further,following features were analyzed:strain normalized coefficient and elastic modulus(Poisson's ratio) in vertical and parallel direction to the stratification,stratification angle,porosity,pore radius,normal and tangential stiffness of crack,and the relationship of different crack width with different tangential stiffness of crack.Through the analysis above,it substantiate this claim that the theoretical model with better reliability reflects the transversely isotropic nature of the coal-rock and the local anisotropy caused by the porous and cracks.Xue Dongjie Zhou Hongwei Kong Lin Tang Xianli Zhao Tian Yi Haiyang Zhao Yufeng 2012International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2012,22,6:3
7Structures of the portal vertex reveal essential protein-protein interactions for Herpesvirus assembly and maturation显示文摘Dear Editor,Herpesviridae is a large family of double-stranded DNA(dsDNA)viruses that cause a variety of human diseases ranging from cold sores and chicken pox to congenital defects,blindness and cancer(Chayavichitsilp et al.,2009;Wang et al.,2018).In the past 70 years,substantial advances in our knowledge of the molecular biology of herpesviruses have led to insights into disease pathogenesis and management.However,the mechanism for capsid assembly that requires the ordered packing of about 4,000 protein subunits into the hexons,pentons and triplexes remains elusive.It is still a puzzle how initially identical subunits adopt both hexameric and pentameric conformations in the capsid and select the correct locations needed to form closed shells of the proper size.Biochemical and genetic studies have shown that the portal is involved in initiation of capsid assembly(Newcomb et al.,2005)and functions akin to a DNA-sensor coupling genome-packaging achieved by a genome-packaging machinery-“terminase complex”(Chen et al.,2020;Yunxiang Yang,2020)with icosahedral capsid maturation(Lokareddy et al.,2017).Structural investigations of the herpesvirus portal have proven challenging due to the small size of this dodecamer,which accounts for less than 1%of the total mass of the capsid protein layer and the technical difficulties involved in resolving non-icosahedral components of such large icosahedral viruses(diameter is∼1,250Å).Efforts of many investigators over two decades have made to reconstruct the cryo-electron microscopy(cryo-EM)structure of herpesvirus portal vertex and more recently near-atomic structures of two herpesvirus(herpes simplex virus type 1(HSV-1)and Kaposi’s sarcoma-associated herpesvirus(KSHV))portal vertices were reported(McElwee et al.,2018;Gong et al.,2019;Liu et al.,2019).Nan Wang Wenyuan Chen Ling Zhu Dongjie Zhu Rui Feng Jialing Wang Bin Zhu Xinzheng Zhang Xiaoqing Chen Xianjie Liu Runbin Yan Dongyao Ni Grace Guoying Zhou Hongrong Liu Zihe Rao Xiangxi Wang 2020Protein & Cell2020,11,5:2
8Dynamically reconfigurable subwavelength optical device for hydrogen sulfide gas sensing显示文摘The importance of tunable subwavelength optical devices in modern electromagnetic and photonic systems is indisputable.Herein,a lithography-free,wide-angle,and reconfigurable subwavelength optical device with high tunability operating in the near-infrared regions is proposed and experimentally demonstrated,based on a reversible nanochemistry approach.The reconfigurable subwavelength optical device basically comprises an ultrathin copper oxide(CuO)thin film on an optical thick gold substrate by utilizing the reversible chemical conversion of CuO to sulfides upon exposure to hydrogen sulfide gas.Proof-of-concept experimental results show that the maximal modulation depth of reflectance can be as high as 90%at the wavelength of 1.79μm with the initial thickness of CuO taken as 150 nm.Partially reflected wave calculations combined with the transfer matrix method are employed to analytically investigate the optical properties of the structure,which show good agreement with experimental results.We believe that the proposed versatile approaches can be implemented for dynamic control management,allowing applications in tunable photonics,active displays,optical encryption,and gas sensing.ZHENGJI WEN JIALIANG LU WEIWEI YU HAO WU HAO XIE XIAOHANG PAN QIANQIAN XU ZIJI ZHOU CHONG TAN DONGJIE ZHOU CHANG LIU YAN SUN NING DAI JIAMING HAO 2021Photonics Research2021,9,10:1

13Quantifying the spatiotemporal characteristics of ecosystem services and livelihoods in China’s poverty-stricken counties显示文摘Understanding the coupling relationship between ecosystem services and poverty livelihoods is a prerequisite for poverty eradication and ecological protection in China.In this paper,we intended to quantify the coupling relationship between ecosystem services and poverty livelihoods in 717 poverty-stricken counties in China.First,we identified distinct levels of ecosystem services and poverty respectively in the poverty-stricken areas based on the ecosystem services subsystem index and poverty livelihoods subsystem index.Then,we calculated the coupling degree and coupling coordination degree between the ecosystem services and the poverty livelihoods in China^poverty-stricken counties from 2000 to 2015.Finally,we analyzed the temporal and spatial evolution of the coupling between ecosystem services and poverty livelihoods.The results indicate that the ecosystem services showed a trend of first decreasing and then increasing,while the poverty level showed an increased trend.In addition,the coupling relationship between ecosystem services and poverty livelihoods in poverty-stricken counties was also improved from 2000 to 2015.However,the coupling degree value or coupling coordination degree values in some counties or contiguous impoverished areas showed a decreased trend,the coupling relationship between ecosystem services and poverty livelihoods in those counties or areas was higher conflict.Future more,the coupling relationship in China's poverty-stricken counties was mainly intermediate conflict and low conflict,which need to improve in the future.Thus,it is suggested that effective measures are required to lift ecosystem services out of the poverty trap and into sustainable livelihoods.Lilei ZHOU Dongjie GUAN Xingzhong YUAN Mengjie ZHANG Weijun GAO 2021Frontiers of Earth Science2021,15,3:1
