1Genome-wide analysis identified 17 new loci influencing intraocular pressure in Chinese population显示文摘Intraocular pressure(IOP) is a major risk factor for glaucoma. Genetic determinants of intraocular pressure can provide critical insights into the genetic architecture of glaucoma and, as a result, open new avenues for therapeutic intervention. We performed a genome-wide association study and replication analysis of 8,552 Chinese participants. In the genome-wide association study, we identified 51 loci that surpassed the significance of P<9×10^(-7), and we formally replicated these loci. A combined discovery and replication meta-analysis identified 21 genome-wide loci that surpassed the genome-wide significance of P<5×10^(-8), including 4 previously reported loci: rs145063132(7 p21.2, ETV1/DGKB), rs548030386(7 q31.2, ST7 near CAV1/CAV2), rs7047871(9 p24.2, GLIS3), and rs2472494(9 q31.1, ABCA1/SLC44 A1). Of the 17 newly identified loci, five were reported to have ocular related phenotypes: PTCH2(rs7525308 in 1 p34.1), LRIF1/DRAM2(rs1282146 in 1 p13.3), COLEC11(rs201143466 in 2 p25.3),SPTBN1(rs4514918 in 2 p16.2), and CRK(rs11078446 in 17 p13.3). 4Dynamically reconfigurable subwavelength optical device for hydrogen sulfide gas sensing显示文摘The importance of tunable subwavelength optical devices in modern electromagnetic and photonic systems is indisputable.Herein,a lithography-free,wide-angle,and reconfigurable subwavelength optical device with high tunability operating in the near-infrared regions is proposed and experimentally demonstrated,based on a reversible nanochemistry approach.The reconfigurable subwavelength optical device basically comprises an ultrathin copper oxide(CuO)thin film on an optical thick gold substrate by utilizing the reversible chemical conversion of CuO to sulfides upon exposure to hydrogen sulfide gas.Proof-of-concept experimental results show that the maximal modulation depth of reflectance can be as high as 90%at the wavelength of 1.79μm with the initial thickness of CuO taken as 150 nm.Partially reflected wave calculations combined with the transfer matrix method are employed to analytically investigate the optical properties of the structure,which show good agreement with experimental results.We believe that the proposed versatile approaches can be implemented for dynamic control management,allowing applications in tunable photonics,active displays,optical encryption,and gas sensing.ZHENGJI WEN JIALIANG LU WEIWEI YU HAO WU HAO XIE XIAOHANG PAN QIANQIAN XU ZIJI ZHOU CHONG TAN DONGJIE ZHOU CHANG LIU YAN SUN NING DAI JIAMING HAO 2021Photonics Research2021,9,10:1

8Detecting geo-relation phrases from web texts for triplet extraction of geographic knowledge:a context-enhanced method显示文摘As an effective organization form of geographic information,a geographic knowledge graph(GeoKG)facilitates numerous geography-related analyses and services.The completeness of triplets regarding geographic knowledge determines the quality of GeoKG,thus drawing considerable attention in the related domains.Mass unstructured geographic knowledge scattered in web texts has been regarded as a potential source for enriching the triplets in GeoKGs.The crux of triplet extraction from web texts lies in the detection of key phrases indicating the correct geo-relations between geo-entities.However,the current methods for key-phrase detection are ineffective because the sparseness of the terms in the web texts describing geo-relations results in an insufficient training corpus.In this study,an unsupervised context-enhanced method is proposed to detect geo-relation key phrases from web texts for extracting triplets.External semantic knowledge is introduced to relieve the influence of the sparseness of the georelation description terms in web texts.Specifically,the contexts of geo-entities are fused with category semantic knowledge and word semantic knowledge.Subsequently,an enhanced corpus is generated using frequency-based statistics.Finally,the geo-relation key phrases are detected from the enhanced contexts using the statistical lexical features from the enhanced corpus.Experiments are conducted with real web texts.In comparison with the well-known frequency-based methods,the proposed method improves the precision of detecting the key phrases of the geo-relation description by approximately 20%.Moreover,compared with the well-defined geo-relation properties in DBpedia,the proposed method provides quintuple key-phrases for indicating the geo-relations between geo-entities,which facilitate the generation of new triplets from web texts.Peiyuan Qiu Li Yu Jialiang Gao Feng Lu 2019Big Earth Data2019,3,3:1

11A Location Algorithm with Improved Accuracy Based on Correction of Noise High-Order Cumulant显示文摘The Non-line-of-sight(NLOS) error is the key issue for mobile user location in cellular wireless communication system. In this paper, we propose a robust and accurate approach using biased Kalman filter based on third-order cumulant to mitigate the NLOS error. 16Mechanical properties and fracture surface roughness of thermally damaged granite under dynamic splitting显示文摘In order to understand the mechanical properties and the fracture surface roughness characteristics of thermally damaged granite under dynamic splitting,dynamic Brazilian splitting tests were conducted on granite samples after thermal treatment at 25,200,400,and 600℃.Results show that the dynamic peak splitting strength of thermally damaged granite samples increases with increasing strain rate,showing obvious strain‐rate sensitivity.With increasing temperature,thermally induced cracks in granite transform from intergranular cracks to intragranular cracks,and to a transgranular crack network.Thermally induced damages reduce the dynamic peak splitting strength and the maximum absorbed energy while increasing the peak radial strain.The fracture mode of the thermally damaged granite under dynamic loads is mode Ⅱ splitting failure.By using the axial roughness index Z2 a,the distribution ranges of the wedge‐shaped failure zones and the tensile failure zones in the fracture surfaces under dynamic Brazilian splitting can be effectively identified.The radial roughness index Z_(2)^(r)is sensitive to the strain rate and temperature.It shows a linear correlation with the peak splitting strength and the maximum absorbed energy and a linear negative correlation with the peak radial strain.Z_(2)^(r)can be used to quantitatively estimate the dynamic parameters based on the models proposed.Yijin Qian Peng Jia Songze Mao Jialiang Lu 2024Deep Underground Science and Engineering2024,3,1:0

18Application of ion-in-conjugation molecules in resistive memories and gas sensors: The role of conjugation显示文摘Ion-in-conjugation(IIC) materials are eme rging as an important class of organic electronic materials with wide applications in energy storage,resistive memories and gas sensors.Many IIC materials were designed and investigated,however the role of conjugation in IIC materials’ performance is yet investigated.Here we designed two molecules obtained by condensation of 4-butylaniline and oxocarbon acid.Squaric acid derivatives squaraine named SA-Bu and a croconamide named CA-Bu which only differ in their oxocarbon cores.While employing SA-Bu and CA-Bu as resistive memory and gas sensory materials,SA-Bu has attained promising performance in ternary memo ry and detection of NO_(2) as low as 10 parts-per-billion whereas CA-Bu show mainly binary memory behavior and negligible NO_(2) response.Theoretical calculations reveal that conjugation of CA-Bu was distorted by the increased steric hindrance,frustrating the charge transport and suppressing the conductivity.Our work demonstrates that the conjugation plays a crucial role in ion-in-materials promoting ternary RRAM devices and highperformance gas sensors manufacture.Jialiang Wei Jie Li Chuang Yu Qimeng Sun Jinghui He Jianmei Lu 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,8:0
