| 1 | Application of high-pressure water jet technology and the theory of rock burst control in roadway显示文摘This paper puts forward using high-pressure water jet technology to control rock burst in roadway, and analyzes the theory of controlling rock burst in roadway by the weak structure zone model. The weak structure zone is formed by using high-pressure water jet to cut the coal wall in a continuous and rotational way. In order to study the influence law of weak structure zone in surrounding rock, this paper numerically analyzed the influence law of weak structure zone, and the disturbance law of coal wall and floor under dynamic and static combined load. The results show that when the distance between high-pressure water jet drillings is 3 m and the diameter of drilling is 300 mm, continuous stress superposition zone can be formed. The weak structure zone can transfer and reduce the concentrated static load in surrounding rock, and then form distressed zone. The longer the high-pressure water jet drilling is, the larger the distressed zone is. The stress change and displacement change of non-distressed zone in coal wall and floor are significantly greater than that of distressed zone under dynamic and static combined load. And it shows that the distressed zone can effectively control rock burst in roadway under dynamic and static combined load. High-pressure water jet technology was applied in the haulage gate of 250203 working face in Yanbei Coal Mine, and had gained good effect. | 3 | Outcomes of the national programme on prevention of mother-to-child transmission of hepatitis B virus in China,2016-2017显示文摘Background:In addition to providing free hepatitis B vaccine(HBvacc)series to all infants in China since 2005,the national programme on prevention of mother-to-child transmission(PMTCT)of hepatitis B virus(HBV)started providing free hepatitis B immunoglobulin for all new-borns born to hepatitis B surface-antigen(HBsAg)positive mothers in 2010.However,few studies have evaluated the effectiveness of the PMTCT programme.Therefore,we aimed to investigate the outcomes of the programme and identify associated factors.Method:Using a cross-sectional study design,we collected data on 4112 pairs of HBsAg-positive mothers and their children aged 7-22 months in four representative provinces through interviews and medical record review.We tested HBsAg and hepatitis B surface antibody(anti-HBs)of children by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay at designated maternal and child hospital laboratories.We used logistic regression to analyse factors associated with child HBsAg and anti-HBs positivity.Results:Thirty-five children were HBsAg positive,indicating the mother-to-child transmission(MTCT)rate was 0.9%(0.6-1.1%).The anti-HBs positive rate was 96.8%(96.3-97.4%).Children receiving HBvacc between 12 and 24h of birth were 2.9 times more likely to be infected than those vaccinated in less than 12 h(adjusted odds ratio[aOR]=2.9,95%confidence interval[CI]:1.4-63,P=0.01).Maternal hepatitis B e-antigen(HBeAg)positivity was associated with higher MTCT rate(aOR=79.1,95%Cl:10.8-580.2,P<0.001)and lower anti-HBs positive rate(aOR=0.4,95%CI:03-0.6,P<0.001).Children with low birth weight(LBW)were 60%less likely to be anti-HBs positive than those with normal birth weight(aOR=0A,95%CI:02-0.8,P=0.01).Conclusions:The MTCT rate was lower than the 2030 WHO elimination goal,which implies the programme is on track to achieve this target.As earlier HBvacc birth dose(HBvcc-BD)was associated with lower MTCT rate,we suggest that the PMTCT programme work with the Expanded Programme on Immunization(EPI)to modify the current recommendation for early HBvcc-BD to a requirement Our finding that LBW was associated with lower anti-HBs positivity points to the need for further studies to understand factors associated with these risks and opportunities for program strengthening.The programme needs to ensure providing essential test to identify HBeAg-positive mothers and their infants and provide them with appropriate medical care and follow-up. | Ya-Ping Qiao Min Su Yao Song Xiao-Yan Wang Zhen Li Yan-Lin Li Li-Xia Dou Qian Wang Katrina Hann Guo-Min Zhang Xiao-Na Huang Yu-Ning Yang Xi Jin Ai-Ling Wang | 2019 | Infectious Diseases of Poverty2019,8,4: | 10 |

| 7 | Semaphorin 7a participants in pterygium by regulating vascular endothelial growth factor显示文摘AIM: To investigate the relationship between semaphorin 7a expression and cell proliferation and migration in pterygium fibroblasts. METHODS: Twenty-six patients with surgically diagnosed pterygium were enrolled, including 15 cases of primary pterygium and 11 cases of recurrent pterygium. In addition, 12 cases of normal conjunctival tissue were collected. The expression of semaphorin 7a in normal conjunctival tissue, primary pterygium and recurrent pterygium was detected by real-time polymerase chain reaction. Recurrent pterygium fibroblasts were isolated and cultured, and the expression of semaphorin 7a was silenced by small interfering RNA(siRNA) interference technique. Furthermore, the effects of si-semaphorin 7a interference on the mRNA and protein levels of β1-integrin, vascular endothelial growth factor A(VEGFA) and vascular endothelial growth factor receptor(VEGFR), and on fibroblast proliferation were analyzed. Transwell assay was used to detect the effect of semaphorin 7a interference on fibroblast migration. RESULTS: Semaphorin 7a was highly expressed in the primary pterygium and recurrent pterygium samples than that of the normal conjunctival tissue. Compared with the primary pterygium, the expression of semaphoring 7a in the recurrent pterygium samples was significantly increased(P<0.05). The mRNA and protein expression levels of β1-integrin, VEGFA and VEGFR were decreased after si-semaphorin 7a transfection, and as well as the cell proliferation and migration. | 9 | An antibody against Siglec-15 promotes bone formation and fracture healing by increasing TRAP^(+)mononuclear cells and PDGF-BB secretion显示文摘Osteoporosis(OP)is a common age-related disease characterized by a deterioration of bone mass and structure that predisposes patients to fragility fractures.Pharmaceutical therapies that promote anabolic bone formation in OP patients and OP-induced fracture are needed.We investigated whether a neutralizing antibody against Siglec-15 can simultaneously inhibit bone resorption and stimulate bone formation.We found that the multinucleation of osteoclasts was inhibited in SIGLEC-15 conditional knockout mice and mice undergoing Siglec-15 neutralizing antibody treatment.The secretion of platelet-derived growth factor-BB(PDGF-BB),the number of tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase-positive(TRAP+)mononuclear cells,and bone formation were significantly increased in the SIGLEC-15 conditional knockout mice and antibody-treated mice.The anabolic effect of the Siglec-15 neutralizing antibody on bone formation was blunted in mice with Pdgfb deleted in TRAP-1'cells.These findings showed that the anabolic effect of the Siglec-15 neutralizing antibody was mediated by elevating PDGF-BB production of TRAP4 mononuclear cells.To test the therapeutic potential of the Siglec-15 neutralizing antibody,we injected the antibody in an ovariectomy-induced osteoporotic mouse model,which mimics postmenopausal osteoporosis in women,and in two fracture healing models because fracture is the most serious health consequence of osteoporosis.The Siglec-15 neutralizing antibody effectively reduced bone resorption and stimulated bone formation in estrogen deficiency-induced osteoporosis.Of note,the Siglec-15 neutralizing antibody promoted intramembranous and endochondral ossification at the damaged area of cortical bone in fracture healing mouse models.Thus,the Siglec-15 neutralizing antibody shows significant translational potential as a novel therapy for OP and bone fracture. | Gehua Zhen Yang Dan Ruomei Wang Ce Dou Qiaoyue Guo Melissa Zarr Linda N.Liu Lieping Chen Ruoxian Deng Yusheng Li Zengwu Shao Xu Cao | 2021 | Bone Research2021,9,4: | 6 |

Herein, a novel photocatalytic system (NiS/Ni3S4 cocatalysts modified mesoporous TiO2) with superior photocatalytic hydrogen evolution capability through the synergistic impact of NiS/Ni3S4 (NiSx) cocatalyst and efficient hole scavenger has been demonstrated. The photocatalytic hydrogen evolution of TiO2-NiSx hybrids with the different content of NiSx and upon different organic hole scavengers was both investigated. The hybrid of TiO2 decorated with 3%(mole ratio of Ni^2+) NiSx cocatalyst in methanol solution showed the optimal photocatalytic hydrogen evolution rate of 981.59 μmol h^-1 g^-1 which was about 20 times higher than that of bare mesoporous TiO2. To elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying spindle checkpoint signaling, we carried out proteomic dissection of human cell kinetochore and revealed protein kinase TTK, human homologue of yeast Mpsl. | 16 | Expression of MUC1 and its significance in hepatocellular and cholangiocarcinoma tissue显示文摘AIM: To investigate the relation between MUC1 expression,distribution, and prognosis in hepatocellular and cholangiocarcinoma (HCC and CC) and cirrhotic liver tissues, and their significance in HCC and CC diagnosis.METHODS: Expression and distribution of MUC1 were examined by immunohistochemical assay with anti-MUC1 mAb in 59 samples of HCC and 37 samples of CC, 20 samples of cirrhotic liver tissues, and 10 samples of normal liver tissues, seeking possible associations between MUC1 positive expression, distribution in HCC and CC (primary liver cancer, PLC) cases and the studied clinical data.RESULTS: Immunohistochemical analysis of MUC1 expression showed that in the 96 PLC samples, 68 (70.8%)were strong positive, and 6 (6.2%) were weak positive.Only 4 in the 20 cirrhotic liver tissues were found to be weak positive, while no expression of MUC1 was detected in normal liver tissues. Apparently, the high expression rate of MUC1 in PLC tissues was statistically significant in comparison to that in cirrhotic and normal liver tissues.The expressed MUC1 protein, stained in dark brownish or brownish-yellow particles, chiefly localized on the cancer cell membranes or in cytoplasm. In the 68 strong positive samples, 40 were detected on cell membrane and the other 28 were in cytoplasm. In addition, follow-up studies of those PLC cases demonstrated that MUC1 expression on cell membrane or in cytoplasm was closely associated with PLC prognosis. The expression of MUC1 in PLC had little statistical significance in respect of the pathological types and sizes of the tumors, but a strong relationship regarding histological differentiation, metastasis of lymph nodes, portal canal emboli, and post-operational recurrence of the carcinomas. | 17 | Realization of warm white light emitting in single phase Gd(P_(x)V_(1−x))O_(4):y at% Sm^(3+),1 at% Bi^(3+) phosphor显示文摘A series of single phase,warm white light emitting phosphors,Gd(P_(x)V_(1−x))O_(4):y at%Sm^(3+),with 1 at%Bi^(3+) doping concentration were synthesized by high temperature solid state method in this work.The experimental results indicate broadband cyan emission of Bi^(3+)and characteristic orange-red emission of Sm^(3+)can be effectively tuned by changing the ratios of PO^(3−)_(4)/VO^(3−)_(4) in Gd(P_(x)V_(1−x))O_(4):1 at%Sm^(3+),1 at%Bi^(3+),and the energy transfer process among VO^(3−)_(4),Sm^(3+),Bi^(3+) also can be adjusted.Based on this,warm white light emitting can be realized by further optimizing the doping concentration of Sm^(3+) in the phosphors.At 423 K,the PL intensity of Gd(P_(0.7)V_(0.3))O_(4):2 at%Sm^(3+),1 at%Bi^(3+) remains~84.3%of the initial value at 293 K,while the measured quantum efficiency is 67.8%.EL spectrum analysis results of the fabricated white light emitting diode(wLED)based on a 310 nm UV-chip and Gd(P_(0.7)V_(0.3))O4:2 at%Sm^(3+),1 at%Bi^(3+)phosphors imply low correlated color temperature(3132 K)and appropriate color-rending index(R_(a)=82.7).These results demonstrate that Gd(P_(0.7)V_(0.3))O4:2 at%Sm^(3+),1 at%Bi^(3+)is a good candidate for manufacturing UV-activated warm white light emitting diodes. | Chao Dou Yanzhen Yin Fei Zheng Zhen Wang Shijia Sun Chen Hu Yang Che Bing Teng Degao Zhong | 2022 | Journal of Rare Earths2022,40,4: | 2 |
| 18 | A high-contrast coronagraph for direct imaging of Earth-like exoplanets: design and test显示文摘A high-contrast coronagraph for direct imaging of an Earth-like exoplanet at the visible band needs a contrast of 10-10 at a small angular separation of 4λ/D or less. Here we report our recent laboratory experiment that approaches these limits. Our test of a high-contrast imaging coronagraph is based on our step-transmission apodized filter. To achieve this goal, we use a liquid crystal array as a phase corrector to create a dark hole based on our dedicated algorithm. We have suppressed the diffraction and speckle noise near the point image of a star to a level of 1.68 × 10-9at4λ/D, which can be used for direct imaging of Jupiter-like exoplanets. | 19 | Vertical crosslinking MoS_2/three-dimensional graphene composite towards high performance supercapacitor显示文摘Molybdenum disulfide(MoS_2) has been stimulated in extensive researches due to its layered structure and the potential as an electrochemical energy material. However, the effects on electrochemical performance of concentration of MoS_2 are rarely mentioned. In this paper, the effects of different concentrated layered MoS_2 on the morphology and electrochemical properties of the composite of MoS_2 and three-dimensional graphene(MoS_2/3DG) were discussed. The results show that layered MoS_2 was successfully compounded to 3DG and formed a vertical crosslinking structure. It can be observed that MoS_2 nanosheets are vertically loaded on the inner and outer surface of graphee when the concentration of MoS_2 is 0.20 mg/L. The specific capacitance of composite(MoS_2(0.20 mg/L)/3 DG)reaches 2182.33 mF/cm^2 at the current density of 1 mA/cm^2, and the specific capacitance remains 116.83% after 5000 cycles. When the current density increased 100 times(from 1 mA/cm^2 to 100 mA/cm^2), the specific capacitance retains 78.9%. Meanwhile, the hybrid energy storage devises can deliver an energy density of 130.34 Wh/m^2. The superior electrochemical properties are attributed to the synergistic effect of MoS_2 and 3DG.
