3Characteristics of dry friction backward whirl—A self-excited oscillation in rotor-to-stator contact systems显示文摘In this paper,the response characteristics of dry friction backward whirl of a general rotor/stator model,which accounts for both the dynamics of the rotor and the stator as well as the friction and the deformation at the contact surfaces,are investigated.The existence boundaries and the whirl frequencies of the dry friction backward whirl are determined analytically.It is found that there are two or three existence boundaries of the dry friction backward whirl that usually form two existence regions,either standing completely separately,or overlapping each other partly,or one containing the other completely,depending upon the system parameters.The whirl frequencies in the two existence regions are quite different and may jump between the lower and the higher values with the variation of the rotating speed.The results have been found to have good correspondence in the related rotor/stator rubbing experiments.JIANG Jun,SHANG ZhiYong & HONG Ling MOE Key Laboratory of Strength and Vibration,Xi’an Jiaotong University,Xi’an 710049,China 2010Science China(Technological Sciences)2010,53,3:8

6Near-surface wind environment in the Yarlung Zangbo River basin,southern Tibetan Plateau显示文摘Aeolian processes have been studied extensively at low elevations,but have been relatively little studied at high elevations.Aeolian sediments are widely distributed in the Yarlung Zangbo River basin,southern Tibetan Plateau,which is characterized by low pressure and low temperature.Here,we comprehensively analyzed the wind regime using data since 1980 from 11 meteorological stations in the study area,and examined the interaction between the near-surface wind and aeolian environment.The wind environment exhibited significant spatial and temporal variation,and mean wind speed has generally decreased on both annual and seasonal bases since 1980,at an average of 0.181 m/(s•10a).This decrease resulted from the reduced contribution of maximum wind speed,and depended strongly on variations of the frequency of sand-driving winds.The drift potential and related parameters also showed obvious spatial and temporal variation,with similar driving forces for the wind environment.The strength of the wind regime affected the formation and development of the aeolian geomorphological pattern,but with variation caused by local topography and sediment sources.The drift potential and resultant drift direction were two key parameters,as they quantify the dynamic conditions and depositional orientation of the aeolian sediments.Wind affected the spatial variation in sediment grain size,but the source material and complex topographic effects on the near-surface wind were the underlying causes for the grain size distribution of aeolian sands.These results will support efforts to control aeolian desertification in the basin and improve our understanding of aeolian processes in high-elevation environments.YANG Junhuai XIA Dunsheng WANG Shuyuan TIAN Weidong MA Xingyue CHEN Zixuan GAO Fuyuan LING Zhiyong DONG Zhibao 2020Journal of Arid Land2020,12,6:5
7Coastal environment of the past millennium recorded by a coastal dune in Fujian,China显示文摘Coastal dune is a common aeolian geomorphology in a sandy coast,which records the evolution process of the aeolian landscape system and reflects the complex interaction among land surface,atmosphere and ocean.Coast is a sensitive area to global climate change.Restricted by chronology,most previous researches in China focused only on the cause of formation of coastal dunes.In recent years,the development of optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) dating provides a good method and acts as a carrier for coastal dunes to paleoclimate and paleoenvironmental studies.In this study,we selected an aeolian dune at the Anshan archaeological site,Fujian,China as the research object based on field observations.For determining their sedimentary stages and the primary influencing factors,we used the OSL dating method to construct a chronological framework for the aeolian dune.In addition,the sizes of grains were analyzed for identifying factors influencing the winter monsoon during the Medieval Warm Period (MWP) and the Little Ice Age (LIA) in this area.The results showed that the deposition of the aeolian dune was closely related to variations in the winter monsoon intensity.The changes of the winter monsoon were similar to the tendency of the East Asian winter monsoon,although there were several sub-fluctuations.From an overall perspective,the winter monsoon was strengthened during the MWP (1050–1300) .The results of a power spectrum analysis showed that the intensity of the East Asian winter monsoon is correlated with sunspot activity.JIN Jianhui LI Zhizhong JIANG Feng deng tao HU Fan'gen LING Zhiyong 2016Journal of Arid Land2016,8,5:3
8Expression, purification of a synthetic fuse-protein-TSF from PF4 and TSP1 fragments and its effect on angio-genesis and tumor growth显示文摘Sequences encoding PF4 (58-70) and TSP1 (429-459) were linked to yield a single gene TSF which encodes the fuse-protein of TSF. The gene was cloned into a pGEX-2T expression vector to generate a protein GST-TSF, which was strongly expressed in E. coli. The purified GST-TSF was degraded with thrombin to generate the protein TSF. With the methods of MTT and wound repair assay, the effects of TSF on the proliferation and migration of EC were detected, respectively. The results showed that TSF significantly suppressed BAEC proliferation and migration in a dose-dependent manner. The fuse protein GST-TSF, and the peptides PF4 (58-70) and TSP1 (429-459) also inhibited BAEC proliferation and migration, respectively, but their inhibition rates were not as high as TSF. Using the CAM assay, it was shown that TSF, GST-TSF, PF4 (58-70) and TSP1 (429-459) inhibited angiogenesis in chick CAM potentially, the effect of TSF was the highest. 10Genetic architecture of maize yield traits dissected by QTL mapping and GWAS in maize显示文摘The study of yield traits can reveal the genetic architecture of grain yield for improving maize production.In this study, an association panel comprising 362 inbred lines and a recombinant inbred line population derived from X178 × 9782 were used to identify candidate genes for nine yield traits. High-priority overlap(HPO) genes, which are genes prioritized in a genome-wide association study(GWAS), were investigated using coexpression networks. The GWAS identified 51 environmentally stable SNPs in two environments and 36 pleiotropic SNPs, including three SNPs with both attributes. Seven hotspots containing 41 trait-associated SNPs were identified on six chromosomes by permutation. Pyramiding of superior alleles showed a highly positive effect on all traits, and the phenotypic values of ear diameter and ear weight consistently corresponded with the number of superior alleles in tropical and temperate germplasm. A total of 61 HPO genes were detected after trait-associated SNPs were combined with the coexpression networks. Linkage mapping identified 16 environmentally stable and 16 pleiotropic QTL.Seven SNPs that were located in QTL intervals were assigned as consensus SNPs for the yield traits.Among the candidate genes predicted by our study, some genes were confirmed to function in seed development. The gene Zm00001 d016656 encoding a serine/threonine protein kinase was associated with five different traits across multiple environments. Some genes were uniquely expressed in specific tissues and at certain stages of seed development. 13Oral administration of dibutyryl adenosine cyclophosphate improved growth performance in weaning piglets by enhancing lipid fatty acids metabolism显示文摘Dibutyryl adenosine cyclophosphate(dbc AMP-Ca), an analog of cyclic adenosine monophosphate(c AMP), plays greater roles in regulating physiological activities and energy metabolism than c AMP. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of oral administration of dbc AMP-Ca on growth performance and fatty acids metabolism in weaning piglets. A total of 14 early weaning piglets(7 ± 1 d of age,3.31 ± 0.09 kg, Landrace ? Large White ? Duroc) were randomly divided into 2 groups: control group and dbc AMP-Ca group, and the piglets received 7 m L of 0.9% Na Cl or 1.5 mg dbc AMP-Ca dissolved in 7 m L of 0.9% Na Cl per day for 10 d, respectively. The results showed that the average daily gain(ADG)increased by 109.17%(P < 0.05) in the dbc AMP-Ca group compared with the control group. Besides,dbc AMP-Ca significantly decreased blood high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDLC) concentration(P < 0.05) and significantly increased blood low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDLC) concentration(P < 0.05) compared with the control group. Further, liver C18:2 n6 t content significantly increased in dbc AMP-Ca group(P < 0.05) compared with the control group. With the increase of C18:2 n6 t content,the m RNA expression levels of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor a(PPARa) and hormone sensitive glycerol three lipase(HSL), of which genes are related to lipid metabolism, were also significantly increased(P < 0.05 or P < 0.01).
