| 1 | A rapid advice guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of 2019 novel coronavirus(2019-nCoV) infected pneumonia(standard version)显示文摘In December 2019, a new type viral pneumonia cases occurred in Wuhan, Hubei Province;and then named '2019 novel coronavirus(2019-nCoV)' by the World Health Organization(WHO) on 12 January 2020. For it is a never been experienced respiratory disease before and with infection ability widely and quickly, it attracted the world’s attention but without treatment and control manual. For the request from frontline clinicians and public health professionals of 2019-nCoV infected pneumonia management, an evidence-based guideline urgently needs to be developed. Therefore, we drafted this guideline according to the rapid advice guidelines methodology and general rules of WHO guideline development;we also added the first-hand management data of Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University. This guideline includes the guideline methodology, epidemiological characteristics, disease screening and population prevention, diagnosis, treatment and control(including traditional Chinese Medicine), nosocomial infection prevention and control, and disease nursing of the 2019-nCoV. Moreover, we also provide a whole process of a successful treatment case of the severe 2019-nCoV infected pneumonia and experience and lessons of hospital rescue for 2019-nCoV infections. | 2 | U-Pb zircon dating of Early Paleozoic gabbro from the Nantinghe ophiolite in the Changning-Menglian suture zone and its geological implication显示文摘The Nantinghe ophiolite is located in the northern part of the Changning-Menglian suture zone in southeast Tibet. It is composed of meta-peridotite, cumulative gabbro, meta-gabbro, plagioclase amphibolite and meta-basalt. Zircon U-Pb dating of the cumulative gabbro gives concordant ages of 473.0±3.8 Ma and 443.6±4.0 Ma respectively, indicating the early and late episodes of mafic magmatisms during the Paleo-Tethys oceanic rifting. The 16 LA-ICPMS zircon U-Pb analyses of meta-gabbro yield a weight mean age of 439±2.4Ma. The gabbro shows relatively low contents of SiO2 (46.46%-52.11%), TiO2 (0.96%-1.14%) and K2O (0.48%-0.75%). Its trace element distribution patterns are partly similar to those of the mid-ocean ridge basalts, and part is depleted in high field strength elements such as Nb, Ta, Zr, Hf and Ti. These features suggest that the mafic rocks were probably formed in a MORB-like or backarc rift basin setting. The zircon U-Pb age of gabbro is consistent with a late crystallization age of the cumulative gabbro from the Nantinghe ophiolite, suggesting that the Paleo-Tethys oceanic basin was opened during 444-439 Ma, possibly as a backarc basin. It is the first precise age which defines the formation time of the early Paleozoic ophiolite in the Changning-Menglian suture zone. These geochronological and geochemical characteristics of the Nantinghe ophiolite are consistent with those from the Guoganjianianshan and Taoxinghu of the Longmu Co-Shuanghu suture in the Qiangtang region. It is common in children and adolescents, accounting for 1% to 2% of emergency department visits.Recurrent syncope can seriously affect children's physical and mental health, learning ability and quality of life and sometimes cardiac syncope even poses a risk of sudden death. The present guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was developed for guiding a better clinical management of pediatric syncope. | 9 | Land use changes and their relations with carbon cycles over the past 300 a in China显示文摘Land use and land cover in China have changed greatly during the past 300 a, indicated by the rapid abrupt decrease of forest land area and the rapid increase of cropland area, which can affect terrestrial carbon cycle greatly. The first-hand materials are used to analyze main characteristics for land use and land cover changes in China during the study period. The following conclusions can be drawn from this study. The cropland area in China kept increasing from 60.78×106 hm2 in 1661 to 96.09×106 hm2 in 1998. Correspondingly, the forest land area decreased from 248.13×106 hm2 in 1700 to 109.01×106 hm2 in 1949. Affected by such changes, the terrestrial ecosystem carbon storage decreased in the mean time. Car-bon lost from land use and land cover changes mainly consist of the loss from vegetation biomass and soil. In the past 300 a, about 3.70 PgC was lost from vegetation biomass, and emissions from soil ranged from 0.80 to 5.84 PgC. The moderate evaluation of soil losses was 2.48 PgC. The total loss from vegetation and soil was between 4.50 and 9.54 PgC. The moderate and optimum evaluation was 6.18 PgC. Such carbon losses distribution varied spatially from region to region. Carbon lost more significantly in Northeast China and Southwest China than in other regions, because losses of forest land in these two regions were far greater than in the other regions during the past 300 a. And losses of carbon in the other regions were also definite, such as Inner Mongolia, the western part of South China, the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, and the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. But the carbon lost very little from the traditional agricultural regions in China, such as North China and East China. | 10 | Effect of Long-Term Fertilization on Organic Carbon and Nitrogen in a Subtropical Paddy Soil显示文摘A long-term experiment beginning in 1981 in Jinxian County of Jiangxi Province, subtropical China, was conducted in a paddy field under a double rice cropping system with four different fertilization regimes, including 1) no fertilizer as control (CK), 2) balanced chemical N, P, and K fertilizers (NPK), 3) organic manure using milk vetch and pig manure in the early and late rice growing season, respectively (OM), and 4) balanced chemical fertilizers combined with organic manure (NPKM). Samples (0-17 cm) of the paddy field soil, which was derived from Quaternary red clay, were collected after the late rice harvest in November 2003 for determination of total organic carbon (TOC) and total nitrogen (TN) and fractions of organic C and N. Results showed that TOC and TN in the NPKM and OM treatments were significantly higher than those in other two treatments (CK and NPK). Application of organic manure with or without chemical fertilizers significantly increased the contents of all fractions of organic C and N, whereas chemical fertilizer application only increased the contents of occluded particulate organic C (oPOC) and amino acid N. In addition, application of organic manure significantly enhanced the proportions of free particulate organic carbon (fPOC) and oPOC in total C, and those of amino sugar N and amino acid N (P < 0.01) in total N. In contrast, chemical fertilizer application only increased the proportions of oPOC and amino acid N (P < 0.05). There were no significant differences in either contents or proportions of soil organic C and organic N fractions between the NPKM and OM treatments. | 11 | Single-incision vs three-port laparoscopic cholecystectomy:Prospective randomized study显示文摘AIM:To compare the clinical outcome of single-inci-sion laparoscopic cholecystectomy(SILC)with threeport laparoscopic cholecystectomy(TPLC). METHODS:Between 2009 and 2011,one hundred and two patients with symptomatic benign gallbladder diseases were randomized to SILC(n=49)or TPLC (n=53).The primary end point was post operative pain score(at 6 h and 7 d).Secondary end points were blood loss,operation duration,overall complications,postoperative analgesic requirements,length of hospital stay,cosmetic result and total cost.Surgical techniques were standardized and all operations were performed by one experienced surgeon,who had performed more than 500 laparoscopic cholecystectomies. RESULTS:One patient in the SILC group required conversion to two-port LC.There were no open conversions or major complications in either treatment groups.There were no differences in terms of esti-mated blood loss(mean±SD,14±6.0 mL vs 15±4.0 mL),operation duration(mean±SD,41.8±17.0 min vs 38.5±22.0 min),port-site complications(contusion at incision:5 cases vs 4 cases and hematoma at inci- sion:2 cases vs 1 case),total cost(mean±SD,12 075 ±1047 RMB vs 11 982±1153 RMB)and hospital stay (mean±SD,1.0±0.5 d vs 1.0±0.2 d),respectively. TPLC had a significantly worse visual analogue pain score at 8 h after surgery(mean±SD,3.5±1.6 vs 2.0 ±1.5),however,the scores were similar on day 7(mean ±SD,2.5±1.4 vs 2.0±1.3).Cosmetic satisfaction, as determined by a survey at 2 mo follow-up favored SILC(mean±SD,8±0.4 vs 6±0.2). | 14 | Positive impact of adding No.14v lymph node to D2 dissection on survival for distal gastric cancer patients after surgery with curative intent显示文摘Background:D2 lymphadenectomy has been increasingly regarded as standard surgical procedure for advanced gastric cancer(GC),while the necessity of No.14 v lymph node(14v) dissection for distal GC is still controversial.Methods:A total of 920 distal GC patients receiving at least a D2 lymph node dissection in Department of Gastric Cancer,Tianjin Medical University Cancer Institute and Hospital were enrolled in this study,of whom,243 patients also had the 14 v dissected.Other 677 patients without 14 v dissection were used for comparison.Results:Forty-five(18.5%) patients had 14 v metastasis.There was no significant difference in 3-year overall survival(OS) rate between patients with and without 14 v dissection.Following stratified analysis,in TNM stages I,II,IIIa and IV,14 v dissection did not affect 3-year OS;in contrast,patients with 14 v dissection had a significant higher 3-year OS than those without in TNM stages IIIb and IIIc.In multivariate analysis,14 v dissection was found to be an independent prognostic factor for GC patients with TNM stage IIIb/IIIc disease [hazard ratio(HR),1.568;95% confidence interval(CI):1.186-2.072;P=0.002].GC patients with 14 v dissection had a significant lower locoregional,especially lymph node,recurrence rate than those without 14 v dissection(11.7 % vs.21.1%,P=0.035).Conclusions:Adding 14 v to D2 lymphadenectomy may be associated with improved 3-year OS for distal GC staged TNM Ⅲb/Ⅲc. | Yuexiang Liang Liangliang Wu Xiaona Wang Xuewei Ding Hongmin Liu Bin Li Baogui Wang Yuan Pan Rupeng Zhang Ning Liu Han Liang | 2015 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2015,27,6: | 22 |
| 15 | The Removal and Remediation of Phenanthrene and Pyrene in Soil by Mixed Cropping of Alfalfa and Rape显示文摘The mechanisms and efficiencies of the removal and remediation of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in soils by different planting patterns with rape (Brassica campestris) and alfalfa (Medicago sativa) were studied by pot experiments in a greenhouse. Results showed that the remediation efficiencies under mixed cropping of alfalfa and rape significantly exceeded those under single cropping when the initial concentrations of phenanthrene and pyrene were at 20.05-322.06 mg kg-1 and 20.24-321.42 mg kg-1,respectively. After 70 days plantation of crops,the contents of extractable PAHs in soils under mixed cropping were much lower than those under single cropping. About 65.17-83.52% of phenanthrene and 60.09%-75.34% of pyrene was removed from the soils under mixed cropping,respectively,which were averagely 43.26 and 40.38% for phenanthrene,and 11.03 and 16.29% for pyren higher than those under single cropping. Alfalfa or rape did absorb and accumulate PAHs from the soils apparently;the PAHs concentrations in plants monotonically increased with the increase of initial PAHs concentrations in soil;the accumulations of PAHs in plants showed following sequence as roots > above parts,phenanthrene > pyrene and single cropping > mixed cropping at same contamination level. Despite the presence of vegetation significantly enhanced the remediation of PAHs in soils,contributions of abiotic loss,plant uptake,accumulation and microbial degradation was much lower than those of plant-microbial interactions in the process of phytoremediation. | 18 | Rhizobacterium Bacillus amyloliquefaciens Strain SQRT3-Mediated Induced Systemic Resistance Controls Bacterial Wilt of Tomato显示文摘Tomato bacterial wilt caused by Ralstonia solanacearum seriously threats tomato growth in tropical and temperate regions around the world.This study reported an antagonistic bacterial strain, Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain SQRT3, isolated from the rhizosphere soil of tomato plants, which strongly inhibited in vitro growth of pathogenic R.solanacearum.The suppression of tomato bacterial wilt by strain SQRT3 was demonstrated under greenhouse conditions.Additionally, induced systemic resistance(ISR) in tomato as one of the potential disease suppression mechanisms was investigated in the plants inoculated with the isolated bacterial strain SQRT3.The results showed that strain SQRT3 applied with R.solanacearum by drenching significantly reduced tomato bacterial wilt by 68.1% biocontrol efficiency(BE) and suppressed the R.solanacearum populations in the rhizosphere soil compared to the control only drenched with R.solanacearum.The BE of the isolated bacterial strain SQRT3 against tomato wilt increased to 84.1%by root-dipping.Tomato plants treated with both strain SQRT3 and R.solanacearum showed increases in activities of peroxidase and polyphenol oxidase compared with other treatments.The application of strain SQRT3 reduced membrane lipid peroxidation in tomato leaves.The expressions of marker genes for jasmonic acid-and salicylic acid-dependent signaling pathways were faster and stronger in tomato plants treated with both strain SQRT3 and R.solanacearum than in plants treated with either R.solanacearum or strain SQRT3 alone.Collectively, the findings indicated that strain SQRT3 can effectively control tomato wilt. | LI Chunyu HU Weicong PAN Bin LIU Yan YUAN Saifei DING Yuanyuan LI Rong ZHENG Xinyan SHEN Biao SHEN Qirong | 2017 | Pedosphere2017,27,6: | 18 |
