| 1 | Adapting liposomes for oral drug delivery显示文摘Liposomes mimic natural cell membranes and have long been investigated as drug carriers due to excellent entrapment capacity, biocompatibility and safety. Despite the success of parenteral liposomes,oral delivery of liposomes is impeded by various barriers such as instability in the gastrointestinal tract,difficulties in crossing biomembranes, and mass production problems. By modulating the compositions of the lipid bilayers and adding polymers or ligands, both the stability and permeability of liposomes can be greatly improved for oral drug delivery. | 2 | Insight-HXMT observations of the first binary neutron star merger GW170817显示文摘Finding the electromagnetic(EM) counterpart of binary compact star merger, especially the binary neutron star(BNS) merger,is critically important for gravitational wave(GW) astronomy, cosmology and fundamental physics. On Aug. 17, 2017,Advanced LIGO and Fermi/GBM independently triggered the first BNS merger, GW170817, and its high energy EM counterpart,GRB 170817 A, respectively, resulting in a global observation campaign covering gamma-ray, X-ray, UV, optical, IR, radio as well as neutrinos. The High Energy X-ray telescope(HE) onboard Insight-HXMT(Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope) is the unique high-energy gamma-ray telescope that monitored the entire GW localization area and especially the optical counterpart(SSS17 a/AT2017 gfo) with very large collection area(~1000 cm^2) and microsecond time resolution in 0.2-5 MeV. In addition,Insight-HXMT quickly implemented a Target of Opportunity(ToO) observation to scan the GW localization area for potential X-ray emission from the GW source. Although Insight-HXMT did not detect any significant high energy(0.2-5 MeV) radiation from GW170817, its observation helped to confirm the unexpected weak and soft nature of GRB 170817 A. Meanwhile,Insight-HXMT/HE provides one of the most stringent constraints(~10^(-7) to 10^(-6) erg/cm^2/s) for both GRB170817 A and any other possible precursor or extended emissions in 0.2-5 MeV, which help us to better understand the properties of EM radiation from this BNS merger. | 5 | Influence of Tip Clearance on Performance of a Contra-Rotating Fan显示文摘Influences of tip clearance on the tip flow and associated loss mechanism in a contra-rotating axial flow fan hasbeen studied in the paper, based on three dimensional numerical results. The results with different tip clearanceare compared in terms of stage efficiency, relative total pressure loss coefficient, flow angle. It is found that theefficiency of the contra-rotating fan changes almost linearly with increment of the tip clearance, however, efficiencyof the rear rotor is observed to decrease more dramatically than that of the forward rotor given same tipclearance variation. The analysis on the flow structure indicates that the tip region flow field is qualitatively similarin both rotors. | 7 | Effect of amino acid mutation at position 127 in 3A of a rabbitattenuated foot-and-mouth disease virus serotype Asia1 on viral replication and infection显示文摘An amino acid mutation(R127→I) in the 3A non-structural protein of an FMDV serotype Asia1 rabbit-attenuated ZB strain was previously found after attenuation of the virus. To explore the effects of this mutation on viral replication and infection, the amino acid residue isoleucine(I) was changed to arginine(R) in the infectious cDNA clone of the rabbit-attenuated ZB strain by sitedirected mutagenesis, and the R127-mutated virus was rescued. BHK monolayer cells and suckling mice were inoculated with the R127-mutated virus to test its growth property and pathogenicity, respectively. The effects of the R127 mutation on viral replication and virulence were analyzed. The data showed that there was a slight difference in plaque morphology between the R127-mutated and wild-type viruses. The growth rate of the mutated virus was lower in BHK-21 cells and its virulence in suckling mice was also attenuated. | 9 | Chemo-and Biostratigraphy of the Jurassic Oil Shales from the Qiangtang Basin,Northern Tibet,China:A Case Study of the Toarcian Oceanic Anoxic Event显示文摘The marine oil shales of the Qiangtang Basin, northern Tibet, exposed in the Biluo Co, Tuonamu, Shenglihe and Changsheshan areas are believed to be important petroleum source rocks. This work comprehensively analyzed the carbon isotopes, trace elements, and calcareous nannofosills, ammonites and bivalves of the Biluo Co section in the Qiangtang Basin. The organic carbon isotopes show a positive excursion close to 2.17‰(relative to PDB), which, albeit significantly smaller, may also be associated with other Early Toarcian Oceanic Anoxic Events(T-OAE) in the European epicontinental seas and the Tethyan continental margins. Coinciding with the Early Toarcian transgression, the oxygen deficiency in bottom water had led to dysoxic-anoxic conditions and deposition of black shales lacking benthic fauna. Under such condition, the redox-sensitive trace metals such as Mo, V, Ni, Cr, and U were enriched, in conjunction with high planktonic productivity of Watznaueriaceae calcareous nannofossils. | 19 | A Surrogate Model for a CAES Radial Inflow Turbine with Test Data-Based MLP Neural Network Algorithm显示文摘It is usually to conduct a full-scale three-dimensional flow analysis for a radial turbine to find a way to increase the efficiency of a Compressed Air Energy Storage(CAES)system.However,long solving time and huge consumption of computing resources become a major obstacle to the analysis.Therefore,in present study,a surrogate model with test data-based multi-layer perceptron(MLP)Neural Network is proposed to overcome the difficulty.Instead of complex flow field solving process,it provides reliable turbine aerodynamic performance and flow field distribution characteristics in a short solution time by“learning the measurement results”.The validation results illustrated that the predicted maximum relative errors of isentropic efficiency,corrected mass flow rate and corrected power are only 0.03%,0.22%and 0.26%respectively.The predicted flow distribution parameters in chamber,shroud cavity and outlet region of rotor are also basically consistent with the experimental results.In the chamber,it can be found that a pressure stagnation point is observed at circumferential angle of 270°when total pressure ratio is decreased.In the shroud cavity,obvious pressure variation is found near outlet of shroud cavity which although labyrinth seals exist.At outlet of rotor,obvious variations of velocity and pressure are found in the 0.0–0.4 and 0.6–0.8 of blade height.At the same time,obvious variations of velocity and pressure are found in the 0.0–0.4 and 0.6–0.8 of blade height and this is because the influence of upper passage vortex,lower passage vortex and end wall secondary flow.The present study can provide further reference for the dynamic performance evaluation of CAES radial inflow turbine. | WANG Xing ZHU Yangli LI Wen ZUO Zhitao CHEN Haisheng | 2023 | Journal of Thermal Science2023,32,6: | 0 |
| 20 | Biomimetic copper single-atom nanozyme system for self-enhanced nanocatalytic tumor therapy显示文摘Single-atom nanozymes(SAZs)with peroxidase(POD)-like activity have good nanocatalytic tumor therapy(NCT)capabilities.However,insufficient hydrogen peroxide(H2O2)and hydrogen ions in the cells limit their therapeutic effects.Herein,to overcome these limitations,a biomimetic single-atom nanozyme system was developed for self-enhanced NCT.We used a previously described approach to produce platelet membrane vesicles.Using a high-temperature carbonization approach,copper SAZs with excellent POD-like activity were successfully synthesized.Finally,through physical extrusion,a proton pump inhibitor(PPI;pantoprazole sodium)and the SAZs were combined with platelet membrane vesicles to create PPS.Both in vivo and in vitro,PPS displayed good tumor-targeting and accumulation abilities.PPIs were able to simultaneously regulate the hydrogen ion,glutathione(GSH),and H2O2 content in tumor cells,significantly improve the catalytic ability of SAZs,and achieve self-enhanced NCT.Our in vivo studies showed that PPS had a tumor suppression rate of>90%.PPS also limited the synthesis of GSH in cells at the source;thus,glutamine metabolism therapy and NCT were integrated into an innovative method,which provides a novel strategy for multimodal tumor therapy. | Daoming Zhu Ruoyu Ling Hao Chen Meng Lyu Haisheng Qian Konglin Wu Guoxin Li Xianwen Wang | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,8: | 0 |
