Effect of acid density of HZSM-5 on the oligomerization of ethylene in FCC dry gas显示文摘The oligomerization of ethylene in FCC dry gas over HZSM-5 catalyst with different Si/Al2 ratios was studied. The effect of acid density of catalyst on the oligomerization of ethylene was discussed. By increasing the acid density of catalyst, ethylene conversion showed a linear increase, while the yields of olefins decreased when the acid density of catalyst exceeded 0.14 mmolNH3/g owing to a promotion of hydrogen transfer reaction. Through comparing the average distance between acid sites on catalyst with kinetic diameters of olefins, it was found that the dimerization of ethylene was not restrained by the sparse distribution of acid sites, while the hydrogen transfer reaction of C3 and C4 olefins was limited. On these bases, a conclusion is proposed that the dimerization of ethylene proceeded via Eley-Rideal mechanism, while the hydrogen transfer reaction of C3 and C4 olefins followed the Langmuir-Hinshelwood mechanism. | Xue Ding Shan Geng Chunyi Li Chaohe Yang Guohui Wang | 2009 | Journal of Natural Gas Chemistry2009,18,2: | 5
Carbon-based nanozymes for biomedical applications显示文摘Nanozymes are nanomaterials with enzyme-like properties that have attracted significant interest owing to their capability to address the limitations of traditional enzymes such as fragility, high cost, and impossible mass production.Over the past decade,a broad variety of nanomaterials have been found to mimic the enzyme-like activity by engineering the active centers of natural enzymes or developing multivalent elements within nanostructures.Carbon nanomaterials with well-defined electronic and geometric structures have served as favorable surrogates of traditional enzymes by mimicking the highly evolved catalytic center of natural enzymes. In particular,by combining the unique electronic, optical, thermal, and mechanical properties, carbon nanomaterials-based nanozymes can offer a variety of multifunctional platforms for biomedical applications. In this review,we will introduce the enzymatic characteristics and recent advances of carbon nanozymes, and summarize their significant applications in biomedicine. | Hui Ding Bing Hu Bin Zhang Han Zhang Xiyun Yan Guohui Nie Minmin Liang | 2021 | Nano Research2021,14,3: | 4
The influence of rock anisotropy on elliptical-polarization state of inhomogenously refracted P-wave显示文摘This paper discusses the influence of the anisotropy parameters on elliptical-polarization of the inhomogenously refracted P-wave induced at VTI-media interface. For this refracted P-wave,we have derived, the equations of the elliptical-polarization trajectory.Following the elliptical-polarization trajectory,we calculated the effects of the rock anisotropic-parameters on the polarization state, with a Poincare-sphere-like representation, for several varying media parameters. It is noted that the size, shape and initial phase angle of the elliptical-polarization trajectory are all depending the anisotropy media,as well as on the incident-angle.We expect that the findings from this paper would be applied to practical applications of seismic exploration. | Lin Fa Jie Zhao YongLan Han GuoHui Li PengFei Ding MeiShan Zhao | 2016 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2016,59,4: | 4
Improved esophageal squamous cell carcinoma screening effectiveness by risk-stratified endoscopic screening:evidence from high-risk areas in China显示文摘Background:Risk-stratified endoscopic screening(RSES),which offers endoscopy to those with a high risk of esophageal cancer, has the potential to increase effectiveness and reduce endoscopic demands compared with the universal screening strategy(i.e.,endoscopic screening for all targets without risk prediction).Evidence of RSES in high-risk areas of China is limited. This study aimed to estimate whether RSES based on a 22-score esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC)risk prediction model could optimize the universal endoscopic screening strategy for ESCC screening in high-risk areas of China. Methods:Eight epidemiological variables in the ESCC risk prediction model were collected retrospectively from 26,618 individuals aged 40-69 from three high-risk areas of China who underwent endoscopic screening betweenMay 2015 and July 2017.The model’s performance was estimated using the area under the curve(AUC).Participants were categorized into a high-risk group and a low-risk group with a cutoff score having sensitivities of both ESCC and severe dysplasia and above(SDA)at more than 90.0%.Results:The ESCC risk prediction model had an AUC of 0.80(95% confidence interval:0.75-0.84)in this external population. We found that a score of 8(ranging from 0 to 22)had a sensitivity of 94.2% for ESCC and 92.5% for SDA.The RSES strategy using this threshold score would allow 50.6% of endoscopies to be avoided and save approximately US$0.59 million compared to universal endoscopic screening among 26,618 participants. In addition,a higher prevalence of SDA(1.7%vs.0.9%),a lower number need to screen(60 vs.111),and a lower average cost per detected SDA(US$3.22 thousand vs.US$5.45 thousand)could have been obtained by the RSES strategy. Conclusions:The RSES strategy based on individual risk has the potential to optimize the universal endoscopic screening strategy in ESCC high-risk areas of China. | He Li Chao Ding Hongmei Zeng Rongshou Zheng Maomao Cao Jiansong Ren Jufang Shi Dianqin Sun Siyi He Zhixun Yang Yiwen Yu Zhe Zhang Xibin Sun Guizhou Guo Guohui Song Wenqiang Wei Wanqing Chen Jie He | 2021 | Cancer Communications2021,41,8: | 3
Virtual Knowledge Graphs:An Overview of Systems and Use Cases显示文摘In this paper,we present the virtual knowledge graph(VKG)paradigm for data integration and access, also known in the literature as Ontology-based Data Access.Instead of structuring the integration layer as a collection of relational tables, the VKG paradigm replaces the rigid structure of tables with the flexibility of graphs that are kept virtual and embed domain knowledge. We explain the main notions of this paradigm, its tooling ecosystem and significant use cases in a wide range of applications. Finally,we discuss future research directions. | Guohui Xiao Linfang Ding Benjamin Cogrel Diego Calvanese | 2019 | Data Intelligence2019,1,3: | 3
Subtyping of type A influenza by sequencing the variable regions of HA gene specifically amplified with RT-PCR显示文摘The outbreak of a novel influenza A(H1N1) virus across the globe poses a threat to human health. It is of paramount importance to develop a rapid, reliable and inexpensive diagnostic procedure.Based on the bioinformatic information from public database, primers specific for influenza A virus surface protein haemagglutinin(HA) of several subtypes(including H1,H2,H3,H5,H7 and H9) were designed.Primer-specific PCR products were subjected to sequencing for accurately distinguishing H1 and H3 subtypes from others. This sequencing-based detection method will not only be applied to rapid detection and simultaneous subtype identification of new influenza A virus H1N1,but also provide the strategies to monitor other new types ofinfluenza virus with explosive potential. | YAN An DING GuoHui ZHOU ZhenFeng DONG Hui ZHANG YaKun ZHU Lei HE YunGang ZHANG GuoQing LI YiXue SUN Bing HUANG Zhong LAN Ke JIN Li WANG HongYan WANG XiaoNing YANG Zhong ZHONG Yang DAI JianXin GUO YaJun WANG Hao CHE XiaoYan WU Fan YUAN ZhenGan ZHANG Xi CAO ZhiWei ZHOU XiaoNong ZHOU JiaHai MA ZhiYong TONG GuangZhi ZHAO GuoPing JIN WeiRong XIONG Hui | 2009 | Chinese Science Bulletin2009,54,13: | 3
The mutation network for the hemagglutinin gene from the novel influenza A (H1N1) virus显示文摘A mutation network for the hemagglutinin gene(HA) of the novel type A(H1N1) influenza virus was constructed.Sequence homology analysis indicated that one HA sequence type from the viruses mainly isolated from Mexico was likely the original type in this epidemic.Based on the 658A and 1408T mutations in HA,the viruses evolving into this epidemic were divided into three categories, the Mexico, the transitional and the New York type. The three groups of viruses presented distinctive clustering features in their geographic distributions. | HE YunGang DING GuoHui BIAN Chao HUANG Zhong LAN Ke SUN Bing WANG XueCai LI YiXue WANG HongYan WANG XiaoNing YANG Zhong ZHONG Yang JIN WeiRong XIONG Hui DAI JianXin GUO YaJun WANG Hao CHE XiaoYan WU Fan YUAN ZhenAn ZHANG Xi CAO ZhiWei ZHOU XiaoNong ZHOU JiaHai MA ZhiYong TONG GuangZhi ZHAO GuoPing JIN Li | 2009 | Chinese Science Bulletin2009,54,13: | 3
Comparative analysis of whole-genome sequences of Streptococcus suis显示文摘The outbreak of Streptococcus suis re-cently in some districts of Sichuan Province in China has caused over 30 deaths and over 200 infections in human beings. In order to study the pathogenicity mechanism and to prevent the bacteria from spreading and infecting human beings and swine, we have annotated and analyzed the genomes of two strains, Streptococcus suis P1/7 and 89-1591 re-spective1y. The whole length of P1/7 is 2.007 Mb, and has 1969 ORFs. In contrast, the partial genome sequence of 89-1591 is 1.98 Mb in length and exists in 177 contigs with 1918 ORFs. Analysis shows that the average lengths of CDSs in two genomes are very close, and the numbers of the homolog ORFs are 1306 between those two strains. Most of the tox-icity factors of the two strains are homologeous, but there are still some significant differences between those two strains. For example, among the 11 genes (cps2A―cps2K) encoding for the capsules in P1/7, 4 (cps2A, 2B, 2I, 2J) are not detected in strain 89-1591. At the same time, the genes encoding EF and Haemolysin in P1/7 are also not found in strain 89-1591. Besides, the genes related to DNA replica-tion, repair and recombination differ from each other significantly and there also exist certain differences among the surface proteins. Those characteristics indicate that those two strains have evolved their ownspecific functions to adapt to the different environ-ments and that the pathogenesis of the two strains is different. We have accumulated comprehensive ge-nomics information for future systematic studies of S. sui. | 10 | Medical Additive Manufacturing: From a Frontier Technology to the Research and Development of Products显示文摘1.Research and development(R&D)and the challenges of raw materials for medical additive manufacturing Raw materials for medical additive manufacturing have a wide range of commonalities that are also seen in many other fields, making them an important basis in the field of three-dimensional(3D)printing.Problems and challenges related to material types, powder properties, formability, viscoelasticity, and so forth also share common features. For example, many metal materials are used in the field of aviation, while metals, polymers, and inorganic materials are used in the field of biomedicine. The most widely used materials in biomedicine are biocompatible.Various homogeneous and non-homogeneous composites are also available for 3D printing, and impose an additional challenge in additive manufacturing;the use of heterogeneous composites in 3D printing is particularly challenging. | Guixing Qiu Wenjiang Ding Wei Tian Ling Qin Yu Zhao Lianmeng Zhang Jian Lu Daijie Chen Guangyi Yuan Chengtie Wu Bingheng Lu Ruxu Du Jimin Chen Mo Elbestawi Zhongwei Gu Dichen Li Wei Sun Yuanjin Zhao Jie He Dadi Jin Bin Liu Kai Zhang Jianmo Li Kam WLeong Dewei Zhao Dingjun Hao Yingfang Ao Xuliang Deng Huilin Yang ShaoKeh Hsu Yingqi Chen Long Li Jianping Fan Guohui Nie Yun Chen Hui Zeng Wei Chen Yuxiao Lai | 2020 | Engineering2020,6,11: | 1
Acoustic Goos-H?nchen effect显示文摘We report two models of the lateral displacement of acoustic-wave scattering on a fluid-solid interface that reveal an acoustic analog of the Goos-H?nchen effect in optics. This acoustic analog is called the acoustic Goos-H?nchen effect. Using newly proposed models, we made numerical calculations for the system of a water-Perspex interface. Specifically, in the post-critical-angle region,we observed a lateral displacement(and transition time) of the reflected P-wave with respect to the incident P-wave. The first arrival of the acoustic signal from the interface is found to be a reflected P-wave rather than the sliding-refraction P-wave usually described in traditional acoustic-logging sliding P-wave theory. For both proposed models, the effective propagation speed of the reflected P-wave along the interface depends on not only the physical properties of the interfacial media but also the incident angle. These observations are intriguing and warrant further investigation. | Lin Fa Ling Xue YuXiao Fa YongLan Han YanDong Zhang HongShen Cheng PengFei Ding GuoHui Li ShaoJie Tang ChunLing Bai BingJie Xi XiaoLin Zhang MeiShan Zhao | 2017 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2017,60,10: | 1
Black phosphorus quantum dots as multifunctional nanozymes for tumor photothermal/catalytic synergistic therapy显示文摘Nanozymes are nanomaterials with enzyme-like properties that have attracted significant interest owing to their high stability, easy preparation, and tunable catalytic properties, especially in the field of cancer therapy. However, the unfavorable catalytic effects of nanozymes in the acidic tumor microenvironment have limited their applications.Herein,we developed a biomimetic erythrocyte membrane-camouflaged ultrasmall black phosphorus quantum dots(BPQDs)nanozymes that simultaneously exhibited an exceptional near-infrared(NIR)photothermal property and dramatically photothermal-enhanced glucose oxidase(GOx)-like activity in the acidic tumor microenvironment. We demonstrated the engineered BPQDs gave a photothermal conversion efficiency of 28.9%that could rapidly heat the tumor up to 50℃ while effectively localized into tumors via homing peptide iRGD leading after intravenously injection.Meanwhile, the significantly enhanced GOx-like activity of BPQDs under NIR irradiation was capable of catalytical generating massive toxic reactive oxygen species via using cellular glucose.By combining the intrinsic photothermal property and the unique photothermal-enhanced GOx-like catalytic activity, the developed BPQDs were demonstrated to be an effective therapeutic strategy for inhibiting tumor growth in vivo.We believe that this work will provide a novel perspective for the development of nanozymes in tumor catalytic therapy. | Hui Ding Daji Wang Haibing Huang Xiaozhu Chen Jie Wang Jinjie Sun Jianlin Zhang Lu Lu Beiping Miao Yanjuan Cai Kelong Fan Yongtian Lu Hongsong Dong Xiyun Yan Guohui Nie Minmin Liang | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,2: | 1
Genome assembly and transcriptome analysis provide insights into the antischistosome mechanism of Microtus fortis显示文摘Microtus fortis is the only mammalian host that exhibits intrinsic resistance against Schistosoma japonicum infection. However, the underlying molecular mechanisms of this resistance are not yet known. Here,we perform the first de novo genome assembly of M.fortis, comprehensive gene annotation analysis, and evolution analysis.Furthermore,we compare the recovery rate of schistosomes, pathological changes, and liver transcriptomes between M.fortis and mice at different time points after infection. We observe that the time and type of immune response in M.fortis are different from those in mice.M.fortis activates immune and inflammatory responses on the 10th day post infection, such as leukocyte extravasation, antibody activation,Fc-gamma receptor-mediated phagocytosis, and the interferon signaling cascade, which play important roles in preventing the development of schistosomes. In contrast,an intense immune response occurrs in mice at the late stages of infection and could not eliminate schistosomes.Infected mice suffer severe pathological injury and continuous decreases in cell cycle, lipid metabolism, and other functions. Our findings offer new insights into the intrinsic resistance mechanism of M.fortis against schistosome infection. The genome sequence also provides the basis for future studies of other important traits in M.fortis. | Hong Li Zhen Wang Shumei Chai Xiong Bai Guohui Ding Yuanyuan Li Junyi Li Qingyu Xiao Benpeng Miao Weili Lin Jie Feng Mingyue Huang Cheng Gao Bin Li Wei Hu Jiaojiao Lin Zhiqiang Fu Jianyun Xie Yixue Li | 2020 | Journal of Genetics and Genomics2020,47,12: | 1

Linsitinib (OSI‑906) modulates brain energy metabolism and seizure activity in the lithium‑pilocarpine rat model显示文摘Background:Epileptic seizure is a process of energy accumulation, bursting, and depletion accompanied by the production, spread, and termination of epileptic discharges. The energy required for a seizure is mainly provided through mitochondrial production of ATP.Mitochondrial diseases often lead to epileptic seizures, and energy depletion caused by seizures can lead to mitochondrial dysfunction. The energy metabolism has become a key target for treatment of epileptic diseases.Method:The effect of OSI-906,an insulin receptor(IR)/insulin-like growth factor 1 receptor(IGF-1R)inhibitor,on behaviors and electroencephalographic activity in the lithium-pilocarpine rats were tested.18F-FDG positron emission tomography(PET)/computed tomography(CT)was performed to detect the relative whole-brain glucose uptake values.Electron microscopy was performed to observe the ultrastructure of neuronal and mitochondrial damage. The changes in blood glucose at different time points before and after the intervention were tested and the effects of OSI-906 on IR/IGF-1R and downstream Akt signaling in the context of seizures were evaluated. Results:The OSI-906 treatment applied 3 days before the pilocarpine-induced seizures significantly reduced the seizure severity, prolonged the seizure latency and decreased the EEG energy density.MicroPET/CT revealed that 50 mg/kg of OSI-906 inhibited the 18F-FDG glucose uptake after epileptic seizures, suggesting that OSI-906,through inhibiting IR/IGF-1R and the downstream AKT signaling, may regulate the excessive energy consumption of the epileptic brain. The OSI-906 treatment also reduced the mitochondrial damage caused by epileptic seizures. Conclusion:The IR/IGF-1R inhibitor OSI-906 can significantly reduce the sensitivity and severity of pilocarpineinduced seizures by inhibiting the IR/IGF-1R and the downstream Akt signaling pathway. | Guohui Jiang Shenglin Wang Mingyue Chen Xiaomi Ding Weiwei He Li Wang Shunxian Wang Juming Yu Xiaoming Wang | 2021 | Acta Epileptologica2021,3,1: | 0
Rapid and sensitive detection of Epstein-Barr virus antibodies in nasopharyngeal carcinoma by chemiluminescence strips based on iron-porphyrin single atom nanozyme显示文摘The correlation between Epstein-Barr virus(EBV)infection and nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC)risk has been extensively researched. The continual monitoring of EBV-IgAs provides a promising approach of NPC screening in its early stage. In this study,we successfully synthesized a single-atom nanozyme(SANzyme)through the application of iron-porphyrin based metal organic framework(MOF-FeP).The MOF-FeP possesses precisely-defined electronic and geometric structures that accurately mimic highly-evolved catalytic site of natural peroxidase. The peroxidase-like activity of MOF-FeP enables it to catalyze the chemiluminescence of luminol substrate.By integrating MOF-FeP into a traditional strip,we created a rapid and highly-sensitive evaluation tool for detecting EBV-IgAs.Importantly,the MOF-FeP strip enables the simultaneous detection of three EBV-IgAs,greatly improving the accuracy of EBV-associated NPC screening. The sensitivities of the MOF-FeP strip(75.56%–93.30%)surpass those of current enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)methods(64.44%–82.22%).This test takes only 16 min to perform as opposed to the customary 1–2 h required for standard ELISA.Additionally, the MOF-FeP strip is suitable for whole blood samples, thereby significantly simplifying the sample preparation and detection process. In conclusion, the MOF-FeP strip combines the simplicity of traditional strip with the high catalytic activity of SANzyme. Our innovative MOF-FeP strip offers a new point-of-care strategy for EBV-IgAs detection, which is expected to markedly facilitate early screening for EBV-associated diseases. | Daji Wang Jie Wang Dan Liu Jiuyang He Meiying Wang Haibing Huang Guohui Nie Hui Ding Xiyun Yan | 2024 | Nano Research2024,17,3: | 0
Zipper head mechanism of telomere synthesis by human telomerase显示文摘Telomerase,a multi-subunit ribonucleoprotein complex,is a unique reverse transcriptase that catalyzes the processive addition of a repeat sequence to extend the telomere end using a short fragment of its own RNA component as the template.Despite recent structural characterizations of human and Tetrahymena telomerase,it is still a mystery how telomerase repeatedly uses its RNA template to synthesize telomeric DNA.Here,we report the cryo-EM structure of human telomerase holoenzyme bound with telomeric DNA at resolutions of 3.5 Åand 3.9 Åfor the catalytic core and biogenesis module, respectively. The structure reveals that a leucine residue Leu980 in telomerase reverse transcriptase(TERT)catalytic subunit functions as a zipper head to limit the length of the short primer–template duplex in the active center. Moreover, our structural and computational analyses suggest that TERT and telomerase RNA(hTR)are organized to harbor a preformed active site that can accommodate short primer–template duplex substrates for catalysis.Furthermore, our findings unveil a double-fingers architecture in TERT that ensures nucleotide addition processivity of human telomerase. We propose that the zipper head Leu980 is a structural determinant for the sequence-based pausing signal of DNA synthesis that coincides with the RNA element-based physical template boundary.Functional analyses unveil that the non-glycine zipper head plays an essential role in both telomerase repeat addition processivity and telomere length homeostasis. In addition,we also demonstrate that this zipper head mechanism is conserved in all eukaryotic telomerases.Together, our study provides an integrated model for telomerase-mediated telomere synthesis. | Futang Wan Yongbo Ding Yuebin Zhang Zhenfang Wu Shaobai Li Lin Yang Xiangyu Yan Pengfei Lan Guohui Li Jian Wu Ming Lei | 2021 | Cell Research2021,31,12: | 0
Potentials of miR-9-5p in promoting epileptic seizure and improving survival of glioma patients显示文摘Background Epilepsy affects over 70 million people worldwide;however, the underlying mechanisms remain unclear.MicroRNAs(miRNAs)have essential functions in epilepsy.miRNA-9,a brain-specific/enriched miRNA,plays a role in various nervous system diseases and tumors, but whether miRNA-9 is involved in epilepsy and glioma-associated epilepsy remains unknown. Therefore,we aimed to explore the potential role of miR-9-5p in seizures and its effect on the survival of glioma patients,in order to provide new targets for the treatment of epilepsy and glioma. Methods The YM500v2 database was used to validate the expression of hsa-miR-9-5p in tissues.Moreover,qRT-PCR was performed to investigate the expression of miR-9-5p in temporal lobe epilepsy patients and rats with lithium-pilocarpine-induced seizures.Recombinant adeno-associated virus containing miR-9-5p was constructed to overexpress miR-9-5p in vivo. The effects of miR-9-5p on the behavior and electroencephalographic activities of the lithium-pilocarpine rat model of epilepsy were tested.Bioinformatics analysis was used to predict the targets of miR-9-5p and explore its potential role in epilepsy and glioma-associated epilepsy. Results The expression of miR-9-5p increased at 6 h and 7 days after lithium-pilocarpine-induced seizures in rats.Overexpression of miR-9-5p significantly shortened the latency of seizures and increased seizure intensity at 10 min and 20 min after administration of pilocarpine(P<0.05).Predicted targets of miR-9-5p were abundant and enriched in the brain, and affected various pathways related to epilepsy and tumor.Survival analysis revealed that overexpression of miR-9-5p significantly improved the survival of patients from with low-grade gliomas and glioblastomas. The involvement of miR-9-5p in the glioma-associated epileptic seizures and the improvement of glioma survival may be related to multiple pathways, including the Rho GTPases and hub genes included SH3PXD2B,ARF6,and ANK2.Conclusions miR-9-5p may play a key role in promoting epileptic seizures and improving glioma survival, probably through multiple pathways, including GTPases of the Rho family and hub genes including SH3PXD2B,ARF6 and ANK2.Understanding the roles of miR-9-5p in epilepsy and glioma and the underlying mechanisms may provide a theoretical basis for the diagnosis and treatment of patients with epilepsy and glioma. | Shenglin Wang Xuzhi He Nana Bao Mingyue Chen Xiaomi Ding Ming Zhang Li Zhao Shunxian Wang Guohui Jiang | 2022 | Acta Epileptologica2022,5,4: | 0
