1A rapid advice guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of 2019 novel coronavirus(2019-nCoV) infected pneumonia(standard version)显示文摘In December 2019, a new type viral pneumonia cases occurred in Wuhan, Hubei Province;and then named '2019 novel coronavirus(2019-nCoV)' by the World Health Organization(WHO) on 12 January 2020. For it is a never been experienced respiratory disease before and with infection ability widely and quickly, it attracted the world’s attention but without treatment and control manual. For the request from frontline clinicians and public health professionals of 2019-nCoV infected pneumonia management, an evidence-based guideline urgently needs to be developed. Therefore, we drafted this guideline according to the rapid advice guidelines methodology and general rules of WHO guideline development;we also added the first-hand management data of Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University. This guideline includes the guideline methodology, epidemiological characteristics, disease screening and population prevention, diagnosis, treatment and control(including traditional Chinese Medicine), nosocomial infection prevention and control, and disease nursing of the 2019-nCoV. Moreover, we also provide a whole process of a successful treatment case of the severe 2019-nCoV infected pneumonia and experience and lessons of hospital rescue for 2019-nCoV infections. 22018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents显示文摘Syncope belongs to the transient loss of consciousness(TLOC), characterized by a rapid onset, short duration, and spontaneous complete recovery. It is common in children and adolescents, accounting for 1% to 2% of emergency department visits.Recurrent syncope can seriously affect children's physical and mental health, learning ability and quality of life and sometimes cardiac syncope even poses a risk of sudden death. The present guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was developed for guiding a better clinical management of pediatric syncope. Based on the globally recent development and the evidence-based data in China, 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was jointly prepared by the Pediatric Cardiology Society, Chinese Pediatric Society, Chinese Medical Association(CMA)/Committee on Pediatric Syncope, Pediatricians Branch, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Committee on Pediatric Cardiology, Chinese College of Cardiovascular Physicians, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Pediatric Cardiology Society, Beijing Pediatric Society, Beijing Medical Association(BMA). 3Resveratrol provides neuroprotection by regulating the JAK2/STAT3/PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway after stroke in rats显示文摘Ischemic stroke is a common disease with high mortality and morbidity worldwide.One of the important pathophysiological effects of ischemic stroke is apoptosis.A neuroprotective effect is defined as the inhibition of neuronal apoptosis to rescue or delay the infarction in the surviving ischemic penumbra.Resveratrol is a natural polyphenol that reportedly prevents cerebral ischemia injury by regulating the expression of PI3K/AKT/mTOR.Therefore,this study aimed to elucidate the neuroprotective effect of resveratrol on cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury and to investigate the signaling pathways and mechanisms through which resveratrol regulates apoptosis in the ischemic penumbra.Rats were subjected to middle cerebral artery occlusion for 2 h followed by 24 h reperfusion.Cerebral infarct volume was measured using 2%TTC staining.TUNEL staining was conducted to evaluate neuronal apoptosis.Western blotting and immunohistochemistry were used to detect the proteins involved in the JAK2/STAT3/PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway.The results suggested that resveratrol significantly improved neurological function,reduced cerebral infarct volume,decreased neuronal damage,and markedly attenuated neuronal apoptosis;these effects were attenuated by the inhibition of PI3K/AKT with LY294002 and JAK2/STAT3 with AG490.We also found that resveratrol significantly upregulated the expression of p-JAK2,p-STAT3,p-AKT,p-mTOR,and BCL-2 and downregulated expression of cleaved caspase-3 and BAX,which was partially reversed by LY294002 and AG490.These results suggested that resveratrol provides a neuroprotective effect against cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury,which is partially mediated by the activation of JAK2/STAT3 and PI3K/AKT/mTOR.Resveratrol may indirectly upregulate the PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway by activating JAK2/STAT3.Yongying Hou Ke Wang Weijun Wan Yue Cheng Xia Pu Xiufeng Ye 2018Genes & Diseases2018,5,3:60

5In-situ trace element analyses of zircons from Dabieshan Huangzhen eclogite:Trace element characteristics of eclogite-facies metamorphic zircon显示文摘The internal structures of zircons in eclogite from Huangzhen have been studied by cathodoluminescence (CL) microscopy. Two growth stages were distinguished: protolith magmatic cores and metamorphic overgrowth rims. These different domains were analyzed for trace elements using LAM-ICP-MS. The protolith and the overgrowth zircons have different trace elements characteristics. The trace element contents of protolith zircons are high and very variable. The overgrowth zircons show a typical trace element feature of equilibrium with garnet, e.g. low contents of HREE (132.2-197.6μg/g) and small differential degree of HREE ((Yb/Gd)cN=8.6-11.9). The contents of Nb, Ta and the ratio of Nb/Ta are lower in the metamorphic domains (0.5-1.4μg/g, 0.7-1.5μg/g, 0.3-1.3, respectively) than in the protolith domains (3.8-19.7μg/g, 2.7-12.1μg/g, 1.0-4.6, respectively). 6The Aging Feature of Al-L-Cu-Mg-Zr Alloy Containing Sc显示文摘The aging behaviors of Al 1.42%Li 2.41%Cu 0.93%Mg 0.073%Zr 0.17%Sc(mass fraction, the same below) alloy at room temperature, 160 ℃ , and 160 ℃ after 8% pre deformation were studied respectively by hardness measurement. The microstructure of the alloy in various aging conditions was observed by TEM. The results show that the main precipitations of the alloy in quenching condition are the particles containing Sc and Zr which have certain coherent relation with the matrix. Addition of Sc in Al Li Cu Mg Zr alloy will be favorable to promoting precipitation. The particles can serve as preferred nucleation sites for δ′ phases which accelerate the aging hardening rate at initial aging. The main hardening phases of the alloy aged at 160 ℃ are δ′ and δ′/β′ composite precipitates. The size of the composite precipitates is very small (nanometer size). The composite precipitates will preclude efficiently the formation concentrative slip location and will improve the mechanical properties of the alloy. S′ phase will occur in the alloy aged at 160 ℃ after 8% pre deformation. 7Genome analysis of Taraxacum kok-saghyz Rodin provides new insights into rubber biosynthesis显示文摘The Russian dandelion Taraxacum kok-saghyz Rodin(TKS), a member of the Composite family and a potential alternative source of natural rubber(NR) and inulin, is an ideal model system for studying rubber biosynthesis. Here we present the draft genome of TKS, the first assembled NR-producing weed plant. The draft TKS genome assembly has a length of 1.29 Gb, containing 46 731 predicted protein-coding genes and68.56% repeats, in which the LTR-RT elements predominantly contribute to the genome enlargement. We analyzed the heterozygous regions/genes, suggesting its possible involvement in inbreeding depression.Through comparative studies between rubber-producing and non-rubber-producing plants, we found that enzymes of the mevalonate(MVA) pathway and rubber elongation might be critical for rubber biosynthesis, and several key isoforms have been isolated and shown to be predominantly expressed in the latex, indicating their crucial functions in rubber biosynthesis. Moreover, for two important families in rubber elongation, the CPT/CPTL and REF/SRPP families, diverse evolutionary tracks have been revealed. 10Theoretical Analysis and Experimental Verification on Flow Field of Piezoelectric Pump with Unsymmetrical Slopes Element显示文摘Regular valveless piezoelectric pumps have rectifying elements outside their chambers to produce net flow.These rectifying elements outside the chamber will increase the overall volume of the pump and prevent its minimization.Valveless piezoelectric pump with unsymmetrical slopes elements(USE),proposed in this paper,differs from other valveless pumps in that it is easy to be minimized by developing the chamber bottom as such a rectifying element.In this research,the working principle of the proposed pump was analyzed first.Numerical models were thereby established and numerical simulation was conducted to the chamber flow field with the method of time-dependent velocity.The effects of the USEs on the flow field in the chamber were shown clearly in simulation.And the particular feature of flow field in the chamber was discovered.It behaves a complex flow field,in which strong turbulent occurs companying a lot of vortexes in different directions and different sizes.This feature is just opposite to what regular piezoelectric pumps expect:a moderate flow field.The turbulent flow could be used to have different liquids stirred and well mixed in the chamber to produce homogeneous solution,emulsion or turbid liquid.Meanwhile,numerical simulation also presents the effect of the angles difference of the two slopes upon the flow field,and upon the flow rate of the pump,which fits to the theoretical analysis.Experiments with the proposed pump were also conducted to verify the numerical results.In these experiments,six USEs with different slope angles were used for efficiency tests,which proved the validity and reliability of the numerical analysis.The data obtained from numerical analysis agree well with that from the experiments.The errors ranged from 4.4% to 14.8% with their weighted average error being 9.7%.XIA Qixiao ZHANG Jianhui LEI Hong CHENG Wei 2009Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2009,22,5:18
11Association between Ambient Air Pollution and Hospital Emergency Admissions for Respiratory and Cardiovascular Diseases in Beijing: a Time Series Study显示文摘Objective To investigate the association between ambient air pollution and hospital emergency admissions in Beijing. Methods In this study, a semi-parametric generalized additive model(GAM) was used to evaluate the specific influences of air pollutants(PM10, SO2, and NO2) on hospital emergency admissions with different lag structures from 2009 to 2011, the sex and age specific influences of air pollution and the modifying effect of seasons on air pollution to analyze the possible interaction. Results It was found that a 10 μg/m3 increase in concentration of PM10 at lag 03 day, SO2 and NO2 at lag 0 day were associated with an increase of 0.88%, 0.76%, and 1.82% respectively in overall emergency admissions. A 10 μg/m3 increase in concentration of PM10, SO2 and NO2 at lag 5 day were associated with an increase of 1.39%, 1.56%, and 1.18% respectively in cardiovascular disease emergency admissions. For lag 02, a 10 μg/m3 increase in concentration of PM10, SO2 and NO2 were associated with 1.72%, 1.34%, and 2.57% increases respectively in respiratory disease emergency admissions. 17Molecular genetics and immunohistochemistry characterization of uncommon and recently described renal cell carcinomas显示文摘Renal cell carcinoma(RCC) compromises multiple types and has been emerging dramatically over the recent several decades. Advances and consensus have been achieved targeting common RCCs, such as clear cell carcinoma, papillary RCC and chromophobe RCC. Nevertheless, little is known on the characteristics of several newly-identified RCCs, including clear cell(tubulo) papillary RCC, Xp11 translocation RCC, t(6;11) RCC, succinate dehydrogenase(SDH)-deficient RCC, acquired cystic diseaseassociated RCC, hereditary leiomyomatosis RCC syndrome-associated RCC, ALK translocation RCC, thyroid-like follicular RCC, tubulocystic RCC and hybrid oncocytic/chromophobe tumors(HOCT). In current review, we will collect available literature of these newly-described RCCs, analyze their clinical pathologic characteristics, discuss their morphologic and immunohistologic features, and finally summarize their molecular and genetic evidences. 18Analysis on Flow Field of the Valveless Piezoelectric Pump with Two Inlets and One Outlet and a Rotating Unsymmetrical Slopes Element显示文摘Typically,liquid pump and liquids mixer are two separate devices.The invention of piezoelectric pump makes it possible to integrate the two devices.Hower,the existing piezoelectric mixing-pumps are larger because the need the space outside the chamber,and another shortcome of them is that they cannot adjust the mixing ratio of two liquids.In this paper,a new piezoelectric pump being capable of integrating mixer and pump is presented,based on the theory of the piezoelectric pump with the unsymmetrical slopes element(USE).Besides the features of two inlets and one outlet,the piezoelectric pump has a rotatable unsymmetrical slopes element(RUSE).When the pump works,two fluids flow into the inlet channels respectively.Then the RUSE controls the ratio of the two flows by adjusting the flow resistances of the two inlet channels.The fluids form a net flow due to the USE principle,while they are mixed into a homogeneous solution due to strong turbulence flow field and complex vortices generated by RUSE in the chamber.And then the solution flows through the outlet.Firstly,the theoretical analysis on this pump is performed.Meanwhile,the flow field in the chamber is calculated and simulated.And then,the relationship between the flows of the two channels and the rotating angle of the RUSE is set up and analyzed.Finally,experiment with the proposed pump is carried out to verify the numerical results.A RUSE with 20° slope angle is used in the experiment.Four sets of data are tested with the RUSE at the rotating angles of 0°,6°,11°,and 16°,respectively,corresponding to the numerical models.The experimental results show that the empirical data and the theoretical data share the same trend.The maximum error between the theoretical flow and the experimental flow is 11.14%,and the maximum error between the theoretical flow ratio of the two inlets and the experimental one is 2.5%.The experiment verified the theoretical analysis.The proposed research provides a new idea for integration of micro liquids mixer and micro liquids pump.XIA Qixiao ZHANG Jianhui LEI Hong CHENG Wei 2012Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2012,25,3:13
