2The Pengguan tectonic dome of Longmen Mountains, Sichuan Province:Mesozoic denudation of a Neoproterozoic magmatic arc-basin system显示文摘Neoproterozoic igneous and metamorphic complexes occur as tectonic domes in the Longmen Mountains of the western margin of the Yangtze Block, and are important in reconstructing the Rodinian supercontinent and constraining the timing and mechanism of tectonic denudational processes. The Pengguan dome consists of granitic intrusions and metamorphic rocks of the Huangshuihe Group and is tectonically overlain by ductilly deformed Sinian to Paleozoic strata. The plutonic intrusions consist of granites with abundant amphibolite enclaves. New LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb dating yielded an emplacement age of 809±3 Ma and a protolith age of 844±6 Ma for the granite. The granitic rocks have geochemical signatures typical of A-type granites, indicating their formation under an extensional environment, by melting of newly formed tonalite-trondhjemite-granodiorite (TTG) rocks. A detachment fault, characterized by variable ductile shear deformation of S-C fabric and ESE-ward kinematics, separates the Pengguan dome from the Sinian-Paleozoic cover. 40Ar/39Ar dating of muscovite from the mylonite in the detachment fault of the dome demonstrates that ductile deformation occurred at ~160 Ma. 4Ocular Surface Characteristics and Impression Cytology in Patients with Active versus Inactive Thyroid Eye Disease显示文摘Purpose:To compare the clinical findings, tear film function and impression cytology between patients with active and inactive Thyroid Eye Disease (TED). Methods:.A total of 56 patients with TED and 30 controls were recruited in this prospective observational cohort study. TED patients were divided into active TED and inactive TED types according to a seven-point modified formulation of the Clinical Activity Score (CAS). All participants underwent full eye examinations including Ocular Surface Disease Index (OSDI) score, tear film break-up time (TBUT), fluorescein staining and Schirmer I test. Thirty nine patients with thyroid-associated orbitopathy.(TAO) received Nelson's grade with conjunctival impression cytology. Proptosis, palpebral fissure width and lagophthalmos were assessed. Results:.Ocular surface parameters including proptosis, palpebral fissure width and lagophthalmos did not differ between active and inactive TED patients(P>0.05). Both active and inactive TED patients obtained higher fluorescein staining scores, lower TBUT scores and significantly lower Schirmer test scores than those of controls (P<0.001 for all). Additionally, the TBUT score was significantly lower and the OSDI score significantly higher in the active TED group compared with those in the inactive TED group (P<0.001 for both). Impression cytology revealed a higher proportion of grade 2-3 changes in the active TED group compared with the inactive TED group(P<0.001). 5DNA damage repair promotion in colonic epithelial cells by andrographolide downregulated cGAS-STING pathway activation and contributed to the relief of CPT-11-induced intestinal mucositis显示文摘Gastrointestinal mucositis is one of the most debilitating side effects of the chemotherapeutic agent irinotecan(CPT-11). Andrographolide, a natural bicyclic diterpenoid lactone, has been reported to possess anti-colitis activity. In this study, andrographolide treatment was found to significantly relieve CPT-11-induced colitis in tumor-bearing mice without decreasing the tumor suppression effect of CPT-11. CPT-11 causes DNA damage and the release of double-stranded DNA(ds DNA) from the intestine, leading to cyclic-GMP-AMP synthase(c GAS)-stimulator of interferon genes(STING)-mediated colitis, which was significantly decreased by andrographolide both in vivo and in vitro. Mechanistic studies revealed that andrographolide could promote homologous recombination(HR) repair and downregulate ds DNA-c GAS-STING signaling and contribute to the improvement of CPT-11-induced gastrointestinal mucositis. 8Effects of calcination temperature and Li^+ ions doping on structure and upconversion luminescence properties of TiO_2:Ho^(3+)-Yb^(3+) nanocrystals显示文摘Ho^(3+)-Yb^(3+) co-doped and Ho^(3+)-Yb^(3+)-Li^+ tri-doped TiO_2 nanocrystals were prepared using the sol-gel method. Effects of the calcination temperature and Li^+ ions doping on the structure and upconversion luminescence properties of Ho^(3+)-Yb^(3+) co-doped TiO_2 nanocrystals were investigated. The upconversion luminescence of nanocrystals was enhanced with the reduction of the crystal lattice symmetry and the crystallinity improvement of the matrix, which were facilitated by the calcination temperature change and Li^+ ions doping. 9Geotectonic evolution of lunar LQ-4 region based on multisource data显示文摘The Sinus Iridum region, the first choice for China's 'Lunar Exploration Project' is located at the center of the lunar LQ-4 area and is the site of Chang'e-3(CE-3)'s soft landing. To make the scientific exploration of Chang'e-3 more targeted and scientific, and to obtain a better macro-level understanding of the geotectonic environment of the Sinus Iridum region, the tectonic elements in LQ-4 region have been studied and the typical structures were analyzed statistically using data from CE-1, Clementine, LRO and Lunar Prospector missions. Also, the mineral components and periods of mare basalt activities in the study area have been ascertained. 13Enzymatic cascade systems for D-amino acid synthesis:progress and perspectives显示文摘D-amino acids,different from the ubiquitous L-amino acids,are recognized as the“unnatural”amino acids.The applications of D-amino acids have drawn increasing interest from researchers in recent years,and D-amino acids are widely used in various industries,including for food products,pharmaceuticals,and agricultural chemicals.Inspired by the prevalent appli-cations,many synthetic methods for D-amino acids have been developed,which are mainly divided into chemical synthetic methods and biosynthetic methods.Chemical synthesis of D-amino acids has a variety of disadvantages such as multiple reaction steps,low yields,low reaction rates,and difficulties in product extraction.Thus,biosynthetic methods utilizing enzymes are attracting increasing attention because they are more energy-saving and environmentally friendly compared to traditional chemical synthesis.Among all enzymatic methods,multi-enzymatic cascade catalytic methods have significant advantages,such as lower costs,no need for intermediate separation,and higher catalytic efficiency,which is ascribed to the spatial proximity of biocatalysts.In this review,advances in multi-enzyme cascade catalytic systems as well as chemo-enzymatic approaches to synthesize D-amino acids are discussed.Anwen Fan Jiarui Li Yangqing Yu Danping Zhang Yao Nie Yan Xu 2021Systems Microbiology and Biomanufacturing2021,1,4:1

15Effectiveness of Shenshu Guanxin recipe granules(参术冠心方颗粒)for improving exercise tolerance in patients with stable angina pectoris:a randomized,double-blind,placebo-controlled trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To assess the effectivess of Shenshu Guanxin recipe granules(参术冠心方颗粒,SGR)in improving exercise tolerance and the quality of life in patients with Stable Angina Pectoris(SAP).METHODS:A total of 189 patients were consecutively enrolled between December 2012 and December 2014.The included patients were randomly assigned to SGR and placebo groups.The primary endpoints included mainly the results of treadmill exercise test and Seattle Angina Questionnaire(SAQ)during 12 weeks of treatment.RESULTS:After 12 weeks of treatment,SGR extended the time of exercise-induced ST-segment depression of 0.1 MV,lowered the maximum ST-segment depression,and shortened the duration of ST-segment depression in patients with SAP in southern China.Besides,the study also proved that SGR could improve the quality of life and functional status of patients with SAP.CONCLUSIONS:SGR showed a positive effect on exercise tolerance compared with the placebo besides optimal medical therapy.Also,the study proved that SGR could improve the SAQ score of the patients.JIN Xiao WU Bingxin WU Huanlin XU Danping 2023Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2023,43,6:0
16Genome sequencing of Sitopsis species provides insights into their contribution to the B subgenome of bread wheat显示文摘Wheat(Triticum aestivum,BBAADD)is an allohexaploid species that originated from two polyploidization events.The progenitors of the A and D subgenomes have been identified as Triticum urartu and Aegilops tauschii,respectively.Current research suggests that Aegilops speltoides is the closest but not the direct ancestor of the B subgenome.However,whether Ae.speltoides has contributed genomically to the wheat B subgenome and which chromosome regions are conserved between Ae.speltoides and the B subgenome remain unclear.Here,we assembled a high-quality reference genome for Ae.speltoides,resequenced 53 accessions from seven species(Aegilops bicornis,Aegilops longissima,Aegilops searsii,Aegilops sharonensis,Ae.speltoides,Aegilops mutica[syn.Amblyopyrum muticum],and Triticumdicoccoides)and revealed their genomic contributions to the wheat B subgenome.Our results showed that centromeric regions were particularly conserved between Aegilops and Triticum and revealed 0.17 Gb of conserved blocks between Ae.speltoides and the B subgenome.We classified five groups of conserved and non-conserved genes between Aegilops and Triticum,revealing their biological characteristics,differentiation in gene expression patterns,and collinear relationships between Ae.speltoides and the wheat B subgenome.We also identified gene families that expanded in Ae.speltoides during its evolution and 789 genes specific to Ae.speltoides.These genes can serve as genetic resources for improvement of adaptability to biotic and abiotic stress.The newly constructed reference genome and large-scale resequencing data for Sitopsis species will provide a valuable genomic resource for wheat genetic improvement and genomic studies.Yuxin Yang Licao Cui Zefu Lu Guangrong Li Zujun Yang Guangyao Zhao Chuizheng Kong Danping Li Yaoyu Chen Zhencheng Xie Zhongxu Chen Lichao Zhang Chuan Xia Xu Liu Jizeng Jia Xiuying Kong 2023Plant Communications2023,4,4:0

18Effectiveness and safety of red yeast rice predominated by monacolin Kβ-hydroxy acid form for hyperlipidemia treatment and management显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To assess the lipid-lowering activity and safety of a dietary supplement containing monacolin Kβ-hydroxy acid form(MKA),Heye(Folium Nelumbinis),and Cangzhu(Rhizoma Atractylodis Lanceae),compared to lifestyle modifications.METHODS:Totally 117 subjects with moderate to severe dyslipidemia(according to Chinese guidelines)and low CV risk were randomly assigned into three treatment groups:lifestyle modification(LM),LM plus a low dosage of MKA,LM plus a high dosage of MKA,and treated for 60 d.The primary endpoint was the reduction of low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)and total cholesterol(TC).Safeties along with Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndromes were assessed through the study.RESULTS:A low dosage of MKA along with lifestyle modifications caused a significant decrease in LDL-C by 15.6%on average(95%CI,9.6%to 21%)with,a decrease in TC by 15.3%on average(95%CI,9.26%to 21.4%),and a decrease in non-HDL-C by 35.4%(95%CI,25.76%to 41.34%).Weak evidence of a reduction of triglycerides but an increment of HDL-C was observed in patients with severe hyperlipidemia.No severe adverse events occurred during the study.CONCLUSION:Our results confirm the LDL-C and TC lowering properties of MKA is clinically meaningful.It also produces a significant reduction of non-HDL-C,and slightly effects on TG and HDL-C as well.CHEN Benjian HUANG Xiaodan PENG Huiting LI Yishi CAO Yongtao WU Huanlin XU Danping 2022Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2022,42,2:0
19Genome resources for the elite bread wheat cultivar Aikang 58 and mining of elite homeologous haplotypes for accelerating wheat improvement显示文摘Despite recent progress in crop genomics studies,the genomic changes brought about by modern breeding selection are still poorly understood,thus hampering genomics-assisted breeding,especially in polyploid crops with compound genomes such as common wheat(Triticum aestivum).In this work,we constructed genome resources for the modern elite common wheat variety Aikang 58(AK58).Comparative genomics between AK58 and the landrace cultivar Chinese Spring(CS)shed light on genomic changes that occurred through recent varietal improvement.We also explored subgenome diploidization and divergence in common wheat and developed a homoeologous locus-based genome-wide association study(HGWAS)approach,which was more effective than single homoeolog-based GWAS in unraveling agronomic trait-associated loci.A total of 123 major HGWAs loci were detected using a genetic population derived from AK58 and cs.Elite homoeologous haplotypes(HHs),formed by combinations of subgenomic homoeologs of the associated loci,were found in both parents and progeny,and many could substantially improve wheat yield and related traits.We built a website where users can download genome assembly sequence and annotation data for AK58,perform blast analysis,and run JBrowse.Our work enriches genome resources for wheat,provides new insights into genomic changes during modern wheat improve-.ment,and suggests that efficientmining of elite HHs can make a substantial contribuutionto genomics-assisted breeding in common wheat and other polyploid crops.Jizeng Jia Guangyao Zhao Danping Li Kai Wang Chuizheng Kong Pingchuan Deng Xueqing Yan Xueyong Zhang Zefu Lu Shujuan Xu Yuannian Jiao Kang Chong Xu Liu Dangqun Cui Guangwei Li Yijing Zhang Chunguang Du Liang Wu Tianbao Li Dong Yan Kehui Zhan Feng Chen Zhiyong Wang Lichao Zhang Xiuying Kong Zhengang Ru Daowen Wang Lifeng Gao 2023Molecular Plant2023,16,12:0
