Coinfection with influenza A virus enhances SARS-CoV-2 infectivity显示文摘The upcoming flu season in the Northern Hemisphere merging with the current COVID-19 pandemic raises a potentially severe threat to public health.Through experimental coinfection with influenza A virus(IAV)and either pseudotyped or live SARS-CoV-2 virus,we found that IAV preinfection significantly promoted the infectivity of SARS-CoV-2 in a broad range of cell types.Remarkably,in vivo, increased SARS-CoV-2 viral load and more severe lung damage were observed in mice coinfected with IAV.Moreover, such enhancement of SARS-CoV-2 infectivity was not observed with several other respiratory viruses, likely due to a unique feature of IAV to elevate ACE2 expression. This study illustrates that IAV has a unique ability to aggravate SARS-CoV-2 infection, and thus, prevention of IAV infection is of great significance during the COVID-19 pandemic. | Lei Bai Yongliang Zhao Jiazhen Dong Simeng Liang Ming Guo Xinjin Liu Xin Wang Zhixiang Huang Xiaoyi Sun Zhen Zhang Lianghui Dong Qianyun Liu Yucheng Zheng Danping Niu Min Xiang Kun Song Jiajie Ye Wenchao Zheng Zhidong Tang Mingliang Tang Yu Zhou Chao Shen Li Zhou Yu Chen Huan Yan Ke Lan Ke Xu | 2021 | Cell Research2021,31,4: | 16
Absolute calibration of the Chang'E-1 IIM camera and its preliminary application显示文摘The interference imaging spectroradiometer (IIM) onboard the first lunar satellite of China 'Chang'E-1' can now provide approximately global high spectral and spatial resolution reflectance spectra of the Moon. It is the essential instrument with which to accomplish one of the four missions of the first lunar satellite of China. As the current data provided by the Lunar Exploration Program Center and National Astronomical Observatories (NAOC) are not reflectance and the sensor response is inhomogeneous in the line direction, users can not use the current data directly. Moreover, due to the narrow band range,IIM data cannot cover the absorption peak of the mafic minerals of the Moon completely, which limits its ability for identifying minerals. The main objective of this study is to describe the methods for absolute calibration, correction and acquiring the absorption center of minerals for IIM data. The results from our study show that in the space domain the sensor response decreases toward the left, and in the spectral domain the response of the longer bands is more inhomogeneous than that of the shorter bands. After the calibration and correction, the reflectance of IIM matches the earth-based telescopic spectra well, which suggests the possible use of the processed data in the geological research. A high correlation was found between the absorption center and the wavelength at which the first derivative equals 0,i.e.,the so-called Stagnation Point in the mathematical sense. In the end,we show a preliminary applied study of the two craters with diameter larger than 35 km using the calibrated data. The spectra of IIM data show that the lunar crust has compositional diversity within the km scale. Pure anorthosite may be found on the wall and floor of the Aristarchus crater with the map of absorption center, which indicates that anorthosite is ubiquitously present within the lunar crust. IIM,with its capacity to acquire lunar composition at the regional and global scale, will contribute to the research of lunar origin and evolution. | WU YunZhao XU XiSheng XIE ZhiDong TANG ZeSheng | 2009 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2009,52,12: | 11
A two-step weighted least-squares method for joint estimation of source and sensor locations: A general framework显示文摘It is well known that the Two-step Weighted Least-Squares(TWLS) is a widely used method for source localization and sensor position refinement. For this reason, we propose a unified framework of the TWLS method for joint estimation of multiple disjoint sources and sensor locations in this paper. Unlike some existing works, the presented method is based on more general measurement model, and therefore it can be applied to many different localization scenarios.Besides, it does not have the initialization and local convergence problem. The closed-form expression for the covariance matrix of the proposed TWLS estimator is also derived by exploiting the first-order perturbation analysis. Moreover, the estimation accuracy of the TWLS method is shown analytically to achieve the Cramér-Rao Bound(CRB) before the threshold effect takes place. The theoretical analysis is also performed in a common mathematical framework, rather than aiming at some specific signal metrics. Finally, two numerical experiments are performed to support the theoretical development in this paper. | Ding WANG Jiexin YIN Tao TANG Ruirui LIU Zhidong WU | 2019 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2019,32,2: | 8
Surface plasmonic effect and scattering effect of Au nanorods on the performance of polymer bulk heterojunction solar cells显示文摘The surface plasmonic effect and scattering effect of gold nanorods(AuNRs) on the performance of bulk heterojunction photovoltaic devices based on the blend of polythiophene and fullerene are investigated.AuNRs enhance the excitation since the plasmonic effect increases the electric field, mainly in the area near the interface between the active layer and AuNRs.The results show that the incident photo-to-electron conversion efficiency(IPCE) obviously increases for the device with a layer of gold nanorods, resulting from the plasmonic effect of AuNRs in the range of 500-670 nm and the scattering effect in the range of 370-410 nm.The power conversion efficiency(PCE) is increased by 7.6% due to the near field effect of the localized surface plasmons(LSP) of AuNRs and the scattering effect. The short circuit current density is also increased by 9.1% owing to the introduction of AuNRs.However,AuNRs can cause a little deterioration in open circuit voltage. | FANG Yi HOU YanBing LOU ZhiDong TENG Feng TANG AiWei HU YuFeng | 2013 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2013,56,8: | 4

Synthesis and Magnetic Properties of Spin-Liquid Tb_2Ti_2O_7显示文摘Polycrystalline samples of a novel spin-liquid com-pound Tb2Ti2O7 were prepared by a standard solid-state reaction. X-ray diffraction at room temperature confirms that the synthe-sized compound of Tb2Ti2O7 is single phase with cubic unit cell constant a0 of 1.015 44 nm. Magnetic susceptibility measure-ments in the temperature range between 100 and 300 K give an effective moment of 9.44 μB and Curie-Weiss temperature of 12.68 K, respectively, indicating the dominance of antiferromag-netic interactions. However, below 50 K, the magnetic behavior of Tb2Ti2O7 deviates from Curie-Weiss law, whose origin remains suspicion. | ZHAO Lihong TIAN Zhidong TANG Zheng WANG Ziyu ZHU Benpeng WANG Lili XIONG Rui SHI Jing | 2007 | Wuhan University Journal of Natural Sciences2007,12,6: | 0
