12018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents显示文摘Syncope belongs to the transient loss of consciousness(TLOC), characterized by a rapid onset, short duration, and spontaneous complete recovery. It is common in children and adolescents, accounting for 1% to 2% of emergency department visits.Recurrent syncope can seriously affect children's physical and mental health, learning ability and quality of life and sometimes cardiac syncope even poses a risk of sudden death. The present guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was developed for guiding a better clinical management of pediatric syncope. Based on the globally recent development and the evidence-based data in China, 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was jointly prepared by the Pediatric Cardiology Society, Chinese Pediatric Society, Chinese Medical Association(CMA)/Committee on Pediatric Syncope, Pediatricians Branch, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Committee on Pediatric Cardiology, Chinese College of Cardiovascular Physicians, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Pediatric Cardiology Society, Beijing Pediatric Society, Beijing Medical Association(BMA). 3Isolation,Screening,and Optimization of the Fermentation Conditions of Highly Cellulolytic Bacteria from the Hindgut of Holotrichia parallela Larvae(Coleoptera:Scarabaeidae)显示文摘From the hindgut contents of Holotrichia parallela larvae,207 aerobic and facultatively anaerobic cellulolytic bacterial isolates were obtained.These bacterial isolates were assigned to 21 genotypes by amplified ribosomal DNA restriction analysis(ARDRA).A partial 16 S rDNA sequence analysis and standard biochemical and physiological tests were used for the assignment of the 21 representative isolates.Our results show that the cellulolytic bacterial community is dominated by the Proteobacteria(70.05%),followed by the Actinobacteria(24.15%),the Firmicutes(4.35%),and the Bacteroidetes(1.45%).And among the cellulolytic bacteria,some isolates,Siphonobacter aquaeclarae,Cellulosimicrobium funkei,Citrobacter freundii,Pseudomonas nitroreducens,and so on,are reported to be cellulolytic for the first time in this study.Among these isolates,a novel bacterium,designated Pseudomonas sp.HP207,with the highest endoglucanase productivity was selected for further study.The production of the endoglucanase was optimized by varying various physical culture conditions using a submerged fermentation method.Under the optimized fermentation conditions,the maximum endoglucanase activity of 1.432 U mL-1 in bacterial cultures was obtained,higher than those of the most widely studied bacteria and fungi,which are the attractive candidates for the commercial producer of cellulase.And the crude endoglucanase enzyme was also highly thermostable;approximately 55% of the original activity was maintained after pretreatment at 70°C for 1 h.Thus,from the present study,the bacterium can be added up to the database of cellulolytic bacteria,the scarab gut is an attractive source for the study of novel cellulolytic microorganisms and enzymes useful for cellulose degradation.Ping Sheng Shengwei Huang Qi Wang Ailing Wang Hongyu Zhang 2012华中昆虫研究2012,,1:7
4Creep properties and resistivity-ultrasonic-AE responses of cemented gangue backfill column under high-stress area显示文摘To investigate the creep and instability properties of a cemented gangue backfill column under a highstress area,the uniaxial compression creep tests were conducted by single-step and multi-step loading of prismatic samples made of cemented gangue backfill material(CGBM)under the high stressstrength ratio.The creep damage was monitored using an electrical resistivity device,ultrasonic testing device,and acoustic emission(AE)instrument.The results showed that the CGBM sample has a creep hardening property.The creep failure strength(CFS)is slightly larger than the uniaxial compressive strength(UCS),ranging in ratio from 108.9%to 116.5%.The instantaneous strain,creep strain,and creep rate increase with increasing stress-strength ratio in the single-step loading creep tests.The instantaneous strain and creep strain decrease first and then increase during the multi-step loading creep process.The axial creep strain of the CGBM column can be expressed by the viscoelastic-plastic creep model.Creep instability is caused by the accumulation of strain energy under multi-step loading and the continuous lateral expansion at the unconstrained middle position during the creep process.The creep stability of a CGBM column in a high-stress area can be monitored based on the variation of electrical resistivity,ultrasonic pulse velocity(UPV),and AE signals.Hongyu Ran Yuxia Guo Guorui Feng Tingye Qi Xianjie Du 2021International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2021,31,3:7
5Y-chromosome evidence for no independent origin of modern human in China显示文摘East Asia is one of the few regions in the world where a large number of human fossils have been unearthed. The continuity of hominid fossils in East Asia, particularly in China has been presented as strong evidence supporting an independent origin of modern humans in this area. To search for such evidence of a possible independent origin of modern humans in China, a total of 9988 male individuals were sampled across China. Three Y-chromosome biallelic markers (M89, M130 and YAP), which were located at the non-re-combinant region of Y-chromosome, were typed among the samples. Our result showed that all the individuals carry a mutation at one of the three loci. The three mutations (M89T, M130T, YAP+) coalesce to another mutation (M168T), which was originally derived from Africa about 31000 to 79000 years ago. In other words, all Y-chromosome samples from China, with no exception, were originally derived from a lineage of African origin. 6Effect of high temperature on compression property and deformation recovery of ceramic fiber reinforced silica aerogel composites显示文摘Ceramic fiber reinforced silica aerogel composites are novel insulation materials in the thermal protection field for hypersonic vehicles. Before the aerogel composites are applied in load-bearing structures, it is necessary to investigate their mechanical properties including load-bearing and deformation recovery capabilities. High temperature from service conditions will have important effects on the mechanical properties of thermal protection materials. In this paper, compression tests including loading and unloading stages were conducted for ceramic fiber reinforced silica aerogel composites at room temperature and elevated temperatures(300℃, 600℃ and 900℃). Influences of thermal exposure to high temperature and high temperature service environment on the compression property and deformation recovery were both investigated. Scanning electron microscopy(SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR) and X-ray diffraction(XRD) were applied to help understand the mechanisms of mechanical property variations. The experimental results show that the compression modulus and strength both increase with the increasing thermal exposure temperature and testing temperature,but the deformation recovery capability decreases. The micro structure changes caused by thermal sintering are considered as the main reason for the property variations.Viscous flow and matter transport due to high temperature resulted in the fusion of aerogel particles. This made the particle skeleton thicker and stronger, which led to higher stiffness and strength of the composites. However, matrix cracks induced by the formation and fracture of larger pores made unrecoverable deformation more serious. In the tests at elevated temperatures,the aggregation of aerogel particles in a fused state got more severe because of the addition of mechanical load. 7Construction and identification of recombinant adenovirus-mediated gene transfer system for rat vascular endothelial growth factor显示文摘Objective:To construct the recombinant adenovirus vector carrying rat vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF),as preparation for genetic transfection that follows.Methods:Rat VEGF was obtained by using RT-PCR amplification and then cloned into the shutter plasmid pDC316.Subsequently,this newly constructed plasmid pDC316-VEGF,after identification by nuclease digestion analysis and sequencing analysis,was transfected into human embryonic kidney cells HEK293 by Lipofectamine 2000 mediation,together with adenovirus-packaging plasmid pBHGE3.Based on the homologous recombination of the two plasmids within HEK293 cells,the recombinant adenovirus vector carrying VEGF and VDC316-VEGF was created.VDC316-VEGF was subsequently identified using PCR,purified using repeated plaque passages,proliferated using freezing and melting within HEK293 cells,and titrated using 50% Tissue Culture Infective Dose(TCID50)assay.Results:The newly constructed recombinant adenovirus was confirmed to carry rat VEGF based on PCR results,and its titration value determined based on TCID50 assay was 3 × 109 pfu/ml.Conclusion:The recombinant adenovirus carrying rat VEGF was successfully constructed.The newly constructed adenovirus can produce a sufficiently high titration value within HEK293 cells,providing a reliable tool for genetic transfection in further gene therapy researches.Hongyu Yang Hong Qi Junjie Zou Xi-wei Zhang 2008Journal of Nanjing Medical University2008,22,1:3

9A single mutation in the PBC loop of VP2 is involved in the in vitro replication of infectious bursal disease virus显示文摘To test whether amino acid mutations in the PBC and PHI loops of VP2 are involved in the replication and virulence of infectious bursal disease virus(IBDV), a pair of viruses, namely the moderately virulent IBDV(rG x-F9VP2) and the attenuated strain(rGt), were used. Residue mutations A222P(P_(BC)) and S330R(PHI), selected by sequence comparison, were introduced individually into r Gx-F9VP2 by using a reverse genetics system. In addition, the reverse mutation of either P222 A or R330 S was introduced into r Gt. The four modified viruses were then rescued and evaluated in vitro(CEF cells) and in vivo(SPF chickens). Results showed that A222 P elevated the replication efficiency of rG x-F9VP2 while P222 A reduced that of rG t in CEF cells. A mutation at residue 330 did not alter IBDV replication. In addition, animal experiments showed that a single mutation at either residue 222 or 330 did not significantly influence the virulence of IBDV. 10Modeling and verifying So S performance requirements of C4ISR systems显示文摘System-of-systems(So S) engineering involves a complex process of refining high-level So S requirements into more detailed systems requirements and assessing the extent to which the performances of to-be systems may possibly satisfy So S capability objectives. The key issue is how to model such requirements to automate the process of analysis and assessment. This paper suggests a meta-model that defines both functional and nonfunctional features of So S requirements for command and control,communication, computer, intelligence, surveillance reconnaissance(C4ISR) systems. A domain-specific modeling language is defined by extending unified modeling language(UML) constructed of class and association with fuzzy theory in order to model the fuzzy concepts of performance requirements. An efficiency evaluation function is introduced, based on B ′ezier curves,to predict the effectiveness of systems. 11A Numerical Gas Fracturing Model of Coupled Thermal,Flowing and Mechanical Effects显示文摘Gas fracturing,which overcomes the limitation of hydraulic fracturing,is a potential alternative technology for the development of unconventional gas and oil resources.However,the mechanical principle of gas fracturing has not been learned comprehensively when the fluid is injected into the borehole.In this paper,a damage-based model of coupled thermal-flowing-mechanical effects was adopted to illustrate the mechanical principle of gas fracturing.Numerical simulation tools Comsol Multiphysics and Matlab were integrated to simulate the coupled process during the gas fracturing.Besides,the damage evolution of drilling areas under several conditions was fully analyzed.Simulation results indicate that the maximum tensile stress,which occurs in the upper and lower of the injection hole,decreases with the increase of the tectonic stress coefficient(TSC).As the TSC increases,shear fractures increase,a crushed area is gradually formed and the seepage area increases rapidly.The influence of TSC on fracture expansion is concluded as follows:with the decrease of TSC,the relative width of fractures decreases whilst the depth increases.It indicates that thermal stress and pore pressure promote the expansion of tensile fractures but restrain the expansion of shear fractures.Therefore,a relatively lower injection gas pressure is required to obtain the same degree of fracturing with a coupled thermal gradient.Dan Ma Hongyu Duan Qi Zhang Jixiong Zhang Wenxuan Li Zilong Zhou Weitao Liu 2020Computers, Materials & Continua2020,,12:2
12The improvement of the one-dimensional Mellor-Yamada and K-profile parameterization turbulence schemes with the non-breaking surface wave-induced vertical mixing显示文摘Both the level 2.5 Mellor-Yamada turbulence closure scheme(MY) and K-profile parameterization(KPP) are popularly used by the ocean modeling community.The MY and the KPP are improved through including the non-breaking surface wave-induced vertical mixing(Bv),and the improved schemes were tested by using continuous data at the Papa ocean weather station(OWS) during 1961–1965.The numerical results showed that the Bv can make the temperature simulations fit much better with the continuous data from Papa Station.The two improved schemes overcame the shortcomings of predicting too shallow upper mixed layer depth and consequently overheated sea surface temperature during summertime,which are in fact common problems for all turbulence closure models.Statistical analysis showed that the Bv effectively reduced the mean absolute error and root mean square error of the upper layer temperature and increased the correlation coefficient between simulation and the observation.Furthermore,the performance of vertical mixing induced by shear instability and the Bv is also compared.Both the temperature structure and its seasonal cycle significantly improved by including the Bv,regardless of whether shear instability was included or not,especially for the KPP mixing scheme,which suggested that Bv played a dominant role in the upper ocean where the mean current was relatively weak,such as at Papa Station.These results may provide a clue to improve ocean circulation models.LI Yan QIAO Fangli YIN Xunqiang SHU Qi MA Hongyu 2013Acta Oceanologica Sinica2013,32,9:2

16Programmed death ligand-1 regulates angiogenesis and metastasis by participating in the c-JUN/VEGFR2 signaling axis in ovarian cancer显示文摘Background:Although programmed cell death-ligand 1(PD-L1)plays a wellknown function in immune checkpoint response by interacting with programmed cell death-1(PD-1),the cell-intrinsic role of PD-L1 in tumors is still unclear.Here,we explored the molecular regulatory mechanism of PD-L1 in the progression and metastasis of ovarian cancer.Methods:Immunohistochemistry of benign tissues and ovarian cancer samples was performed,followed by migration,invasion,and angiogenesis assays in PDL1-knockdown ovarian cancer cells.Immunoprecipitation,mass spectrometry,and chromatin immunoprecipitation were conducted along with zebrafish and mouse experiments to explore the specific functions and mechanisms of PD-L1 in ovarian cancer.Results:Our results showed that PD-L1 induced angiogenesis,which further promoted cell migration and invasion in vitro and in vivo of ovarian cancer.Mechanistically,PD-L1 was identified to directly interact with vascular endothelial growth factor receptor-2(VEGFR2)and then activated the FAK/AKT pathway,which further induced angiogenesis and tumor progression,leading to poor prognosis of ovarian cancer patients.Meanwhile,PD-L1 was found to be regulated by the oncogenic transcription factor c-JUN at the transcriptional level,which enhanced the expression of PD-L1 in ovarian cancer.Furthermore,we demonstrated that PD-L1 inhibitor durvalumab,combined with the antiangiogenic drug,apatinib,could enhance the effect of anti-angiogenesis and the inhibition of cell migration and invasion.Conclusion:Our results demonstrated that PD-L1 promoted the angiogenesis and metastasis of ovarian cancer by participating in the c-JUN/VEGFR2 signaling axis,suggesting that the combination of PD-L1 inhibitor and antiangiogenic drugs may be considered as a potential therapeutic approach for ovarian cancer patients.Yufei Yang Lingfang Xia Yong Wu Hongyu Zhou Xin Chen Haoran Li Midie Xu Zihao Qi Ziliang Wang Huizhen Sun Xi Cheng 2021Cancer Communications2021,41,6:1
17Experimental study and numerical modeling of the damage evolution of thermal barrier coating systems under tension显示文摘This study investigated the damage evolution(i.e., formation of vertical cracks, transformation of vertical cracks to interfacial crack and delamination) of thermal barrier coating systems under tension by using experimental and numerical methods.Experimental results revealed that the first transverse crack that was perpendicular to the load direction occurred when the strain of the top coat reached 0.5%. The full-scale strain of the top coat layer obtained by using the Digital Image Correlation technique indicated that surface cracks formed due to the coalescence of micro-cracks. Moreover, the results of the finite element method demonstrated that the vertical cracks initiated from the coating surface and extended through the thickness of the coatings. The density of the surface cracks was used as a damage evolution indicator such that numerical simulation could predict the cracking behaviour under tension loading. 19Effect of bond-coat surface roughness on failure mechanism and lifetime of air plasma spraying thermal barrier coatings显示文摘This work investigates the failure mechanism of an air plasma spraying(APS) thermal barrier coatings(TBCs) with various bond coat(BC) surface toughness under constant temperature loading condition. Results show that the increased BC surface roughness decreased the lifetime. Moreover, the relationship between the TGO depth and the lifetime can be well described by linear law.The failure mechanism of the TBCs samples was studied by cross-sectional morphologies observation and using the finite element method(FEM). Cracks in the TBCs samples with higher BC surface roughness are initiated from the defects on the BC caused by Al depletion in the BC layer. However, cracks in the samples of TBCs with lower BC surface roughness condition preferentially occur at the TC-TGO interface.
