2A huge oceanic-type UHP metamorphic belt in southwestern Tianshan, China: Peak metamorphic age and P-T path显示文摘Recent progress in the study of the UHP metamorphic belt in southwestern Tianshan,China,is summarized in this paper.This about 80-km-long and over 10-km-wide UHP belt has been recognized by the discovery of coesite,coesite pseudomorphs and other UHP minerals.It is the largest oceanic-type UHP metamorphic belt reported so far.It has formed due to northward subduction of the Tianshan Paleo-Ocean.U-Pb dating of metamorphic rims of zircons from a coesite-bearing garnet-phengite schist yields a peak UHP metamorphic ages of 320±3.7 Ma.Combined with ages of 233–226 Ma obtained from rims of zircons from retrograded eclogites,a long retrograde metamorphic evolution(>70 Ma)has been revealed.According to phase equilibria modeling,the P-T paths of both coesite-bearing eclogites and garnet-phengite schists are characterized by thermal relaxation,i.e.,the metamorphic temperature peak lags behind the pressure peak,indicating that the UHP rocks experienced slow and long heating and decompression during exhumation in the subduction channel.On the basis of the field observation that a small amount of eclogite lenses is wrapped in large volumes of metapelites,and the similar P-T paths of both rock types,we propose that the exhumation of the UHP eclogites from southwestern Tianshan,China,may have resulted from the exhumation of large volumes of low-density metapelites,which carried the denser eclogites to the Earth’s surface.ZHANG LiFei DU JinXue Lü Zeng YANG Xin GOU LongLong XIA Bin CHEN ZhenYu WEI ChunJing SONG ShuGuang 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,35:19
3Design and experiment of variable rate orchard sprayer based on laser scanning sensor显示文摘During different growth periods,canopy size and density in orchards are variable,which need application conditions(flow rate and air flow)to be adjusted to match the canopy’s characteristics.In order to improve orchard sprayer’s automatic operating performance,an automatic variable-rate orchard sprayer(VARS)fixed with 40 electromagnetic valves and 8 brushless fans was developed based on the canopy’s spatial dimensions.Each solenoid valve and brushless motor can be individually adjusted in real-time through pulse width modulation(PWM)signals emitted by a control system to adjust each nozzle’s spout and fan rotation speed.A high-precision laser scanning sensor(light detecting and ranging,LIDAR)was adopted as the detector to measure the canopy volume using the variable rate algorithm principle.Field experiments were conducted in an apple orchard,and conventional air blast sprayer(CABS)and directed air-jet sprayer(DAJS)were tested as a comparison.Results showed that on average,46%less spraying solution was applied compared to conventional applications,while penetration rate was similar to DAJS.Normalized deposition in the canopy with variable application was higher than that of conventional applications,indicating that electronic sprayers are more efficient than conventional sprayers.It was also observed that VARS could significantly reduce off-target loss.The field experiment showed that the newly developed variable-rate sprayer can greatly reduce pesticide use and protect the environment for the orchard fruit production,and also provide a reference for design and performance optimization for plant protection machinery.Longlong Li Xiongkui He Jianli Song Yajia Liu Aijun Zeng Liu Yang Chaohui Liu Zhixiong Liu 2018International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2018,11,1:8

5Palynological constraints on the age of the Mississippi Valley-type Changdong Pb-Zn deposit,Sanjiang belt,West China显示文摘Mississippi Valley-type(MVT)Pb-Zn deposits serve as the world’s major supply of Pb-Zn resources.However,the age constraint of MVT Pb-Zn deposits has long been a big challenge,due to the lack of minerals that are unequivocally related to ore deposition and that can be used for radioisotopic dating.Here we show sporopollens can provide useful chronological information on the Changdong MVT Pb-Zn deposit in the Simao basin,Sanjiang belt,West China.The Pb-Zn ores in the Changdong deposit are hosted by internal sediments in paleo-karst caves of meteoric origin.Sphalerite and galena occur as replacements of carbonate minerals and void infillings in the internal sediments.The relations suggest that the Pb-Zn mineralization occurred after the deposition of the internal sediments.A palynological assemblage mainly composed of angiosperm pollen dominated by Castanea,Quercus,and Carya and fern spores dominated by Polypodiaceae,Pteris,and Athyriaceae was identified.These pollen and spores place the ore-hosting internal sediments and the Changdong paleo-karst at early to middle Oligocene.Consequently,the Changdong Pb-Zn deposit must have formed after the early Oligocene(~34 Ma).These age constraints,together with the geological characteristics,indicate that the Changdong Pb-Zn deposit is a paleo-karst-controlled MVT deposit related to fold-thrust systems in the Sanjiang belt.The Changdong deposit is similar to other MVT Pb-Zn deposits in the northern part of the Sanjiang belt,making it possible to extend this Pb-Zn belt 500 km further to the South.Results presented here highlights the potential of sporopollens in dating the age of MVT deposits related to paleo-karst formation in young orogenic belts.Yingchao LIU Yucai SONG Zengqian HOU Dangpeng XI Suping LI Longlong YUE Wang MA Bolang TANG 2022Science China Earth Sciences2022,65,1:2
6Understanding the geometric and electronic factors of PtNi bimetallic surfaces for efficient and selective catalytic hydrogenation of biomass-derived oxygenates显示文摘Ni-base catalysts are promising candidate for the hydrogenation of furfural(FAL) to high-value chemicals.However,slow intermediate desorption and low selectivity limit its implementation.Identifying the catalytic performance of each active sites is vital to design hydrogenation catalyst,and tuning the geometrical sites at molecule level in PtNi could lead to the modification of electronic structure,and thus the selectity for the hydrogenation of FAL was modulated.Herein,PtNi hollow nanoframes(PtNi HNFs) with three dimensional(3 D) molecular accessibility were synthesized,EDX results suggested that Ni was evenly distributed inside of the hollow nanoframes,whereas Pt was relatively concentrated at the edges.DFT calculation demonstrated that PtNi significant decrease the desorption energy of the intermediates.This strategy could not only enhance the desorption of intermediates to improve the catalytic performance,but also transfer the adsorption mode of FAL on catalyst surface to selective hydrogenation of FAL to FOL or THFA.The PtNi HNFs catalyst afforded excellent catalytic performance for selective hydrogenation of a broad range of biomass-derived platform chemicals under mild conditions,especially of FAL to furfuryl alcohol(FOL),in quantitative FOL yields(99%) with a high TOF of 2.56 h^(-1).It is found that the superior performance of PtNi HNFs is attributed to its 3 D hierarchical structure and synergistic electronic effects between Pt and Ni.Besides,the kinetic study demonstrated that the activation energy for hydrogenation of FAL was as low as 54.95 kJ mol^(-1).Jingcheng Wu Chuangwei Liu Yuting Zhu Xiangbo Song Chengyan Wen Xinghua Zhang Chenguang Wang Longlong Ma 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,9:1
7Tandem synthesis of tertiary amines using graphene encapsulated Ni nocatalyst via nitro compounds hydrogenation and primary amine methylation显示文摘Development of the economic, environmentally friendly synthesis of amines from nitro compounds remains important and challenging. In this work, the graphene shell encapsulated none noble Ni-based catalysts were successfully designed and synthesized via an environmentally friendly method using H2O or Et OH as solvent. These fresh and recycling catalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. For the nitro compounds hydrogenation, Ni@C-600-H2O exhibits the best catalytic activity to achieve 100 mol/mol conversions of nitrobenzene and 99% selectivity of aniline under mild reaction conditions of 1.0 MPa H2and 60°C.Many halogen-substituted, olefin substituted nitro compounds and aliphatic nitro compounds were investigated and desired products were obtained in excellent selectivity. What is more, the catalyst had excellent stability and could be recycled 13 times without any significant loss in selectivity and activity. 8Characterization of Rheum palmatum mitochondrial genome and comparative analysis among Caryophyllales species显示文摘Objective:This work aimed to report the first complete mitochondrial genome(mitogenome)of Rheum palmatum,summarize the features of Caryophyllales mitogenomes,and to reveal the potential of utilizing the mitogenomes of R.palmatum and other Caryophyllales species for inferring phylogenetic relationships and species identification.Methods:Both Illumina short reads and PacBio HiFi reads were utilized to obtain a complete mitogenome of R.palmatum.A variety of bioinformatics tools were employed to characterize the R.palmatum mitogenome,compare the reported mitogenomes in Caryophyllales and conduct phylogenetic analysis.Results:The mitogenome of R.palmatum was assembled into a single master circle of 302,993 bp,encoding 35 known protein-coding genes,18 transfer RNA genes,and three ribosome RNA genes.A total of 249 long repeats and 49 simple sequence repeats were identified in this mitogenome.The sizes of mitogenomes in Caryophyllales varied from 253 kb to 11.3 Mb.Among them,23 mitogenomes were circular molecules,one was linear,and one consisted of relaxed circles,linear molecules,and supercoiled DNA.Out of the total mitogenomes,11 were single-chromosome structure,whereas the remaining 14 were multi-chromosomal organizations.The phylogenetic analysis is consistent with both the Engler system(1964)and the Angiosperm Phylogeny Group III system.Conclusions:We obtained the first mitogenome of R.palmatum,which consists of a master circle.Mitogenomes in Caryophyllales have variable genome sizes and structures even within the same species.Circular molecules are still the dominant pattern in Caryophyllales.Single-chromosome mitogenomes account for nearly a half of all the mitogenomes in Caryophyllales,in contrast to previous studies.It is feasible to utilize mitochondrial genomes for inferring phylogenetic relationships and conducting species identification.Longlong Gao Lijun Hao Wenjie Xu Tianyi Xin Chi Song Yulin Lin Lingping Zhu Jingyuan Song 2023Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine2023,3,4:0
9Synthesis of high density and low freezing point jet fuels range cycloalkanes with cyclopentanone and lignin-derived vanillins显示文摘In this work,a“cyclopentanone-vanillin”strategy was proposed for the preparation of jet fuel range cycloalkanes from lignocellulose-derived ketones and lignin-derived aldehydes via aldol condensation and hydrodeoxygenation(HDO).Ethanolamine lactate ionic liquid(LAIL)exhibited excellent catalytic activity in the aldol condensation of cyclopentanone and vanillin.Desired mono-condensation and bicondensation products were obtained with yield of 95.2%at 100℃.It is found that the synergy effects between amino group of ethanolamine and hydroxyl group of lactic acid play a key role in the aldol condensation.The condensation products were converted into cycloalkanes by HDO over 5%Pd/Nb_(2)O_(5)catalyst.The density of the obtained HDO products is 0.89 g/cm^(3)and the freezing point is lower than-60℃.These results suggest that the resulted cycloalkanes can be used as additives to improve the density and low-temperature fluidity of the jet fuels.Xinghua Zhang Miaojia Song Jianguo Liu Qi Zhang Lungang Chen Longlong Ma 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,4:0

11Performance evaluation of an SOI pixel sensor with in-pixel binary counters显示文摘Introduction Pixel detectors fabricated with the silicon-on-insulator(SOI)technology suffered from the digital pickup,due to the capacitive coupling between the sensing electrode and the in-pixel circuit.In order to tackle this issue,an advanced process called double SOI has been developed.A prototype chip CPIXTEG3b adopting this new process was designed and characterized.While optimization concerning the double-SOI design and testing of the single pixel were already presented in a separate publication,this paper focuses on its noise performance of the full matrix and X-ray detection utilizing a synchrotron photon beam.Methods Equivalent noise charge(ENC)of the full pixel matrix was measured with electrical pulse tests.The threshold dispersion was minimized by the DAC tuning in each individual pixel.As a photon-counting X-ray imager,noise count accumulated up to 1 h was measured.Detection efficiency was measured with a micro-focused beam as well as a flat field generated by the X-ray scattering on a glassy carbon at the KEK PF beam line 14A.Results The typical ENC is 52 e−and the sigma of threshold dispersion is 10 e−over the full matrix.A merit of“zero”noise count is also demonstrated,which is consistent with the low ENC.The prototype chip has been tested with microbeam and used to measure the beam profile to be with a full width of 50µm at 2.4%of the maximum height.Both sensor depletion and charge sharing between neighboring pixels have been carefully characterized,providing insights for further development.The homogeneity of response to X-ray photons has been demonstrated in the flat field test.This work has drawn a final conclusion to the solution of digital pickup issue and opened a promising prospect in low-noise and high-resolution X-ray imaging.Longlong Song Yunpeng Lu Ryo Hashimoto Ryutaro Nishimura Shunji Kishimoto Yang Zhou Zhigang Wu Yasuo Arai Qun Ouyang 2018Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2018,2,1:0
12Detection of maize leaf diseases using improved MobileNet V3-small显示文摘In order to realize the intelligent identification of maize leaf diseases for accurate prevention and control,this study proposed a maize disease detection method based on improved MobileNet V3-small,using a UAV to collect maize disease images and establish a maize disease dataset in a complex context,and explored the effects of data expansion and migration learning on model recognition accuracy,recall rate,and F1-score instructive evaluative indexes,and the results show that the two approaches of data expansion and migration learning effectively improved the accuracy of the model.The structured compression of MobileNet V3-small bneck layer retains only 6 layers,the expansion multiplier of each layer was redesigned,32-fold fast downsampling was used in the first layer,and the location of the SE module was optimized.The improved model had an average accuracy of 79.52%in the test set,a recall of 77.91%,an F1-score of 78.62%,a model size of 2.36 MB,and a single image detection speed of 9.02 ms.The detection accuracy and speed of the model can meet the requirements of mobile or embedded devices.This study provides technical support for realizing the intelligent detection of maize leaf diseases.Ang Gao Aijun Geng Yuepeng Song Longlong Ren Yue Zhang Xiang Han 2023International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2023,16,3:0
