1Distributed Finite-Time Integral Sliding-Mode Control for Multi-Agent Systems with Multiple Disturbances Based on Nonlinear Disturbance Observers显示文摘This paper proposes a finite-time consensus control algorithm based on nonlinear integral sliding-mode control for second-order multi-agent systems(MASs)with mismatched and matched disturbances.Firstly,a nonlinear finite-time disturbance observer is established to estimate the states and mismatched disturbances of the agent.Secondly,a dynamic integral sliding-mode(ISM)surface is designed by employing the estimates of mismatched disturbances.Then,based on the designed ISM and disturbance observer,the discontinuous or continuous campsite control protocols are respectively developed to guarantee the consensus for MASs in finite time with active anti-disturbance control.Finally,numerical simulation results illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed consensus control algorithm.YANG Yize LIU Fan YANG Hongyong LI Yuling LIU Yuanshan 2021Journal of Systems Science & Complexity2021,34,3:4
2An Improved Method for the Fitting and Prediction of the Number of COVID-19 Confirmed Cases Based on LSTM显示文摘New coronavirus disease(COVID-19)has constituted a global pandemic and has spread to most countries and regions in the world.Through understanding the development trend of confirmed cases in a region,the government can control the pandemic by using the corresponding policies.However,the common traditional mathematical differential equations and population prediction models have limitations for time series population prediction,and even have large estimation errors.To address this issue,we propose an improved method for predicting confirmed cases based on LSTM(Long-Short Term Memory)neural network.This work compares the deviation between the experimental results of the improved LSTM prediction model and the digital prediction models(such as Logistic and Hill equations)with the real data as reference.Furthermore,this work uses the goodness of fitting to evaluate the fitting effect of the improvement.Experiments show that the proposed approach has a smaller prediction deviation and a better fitting effect.Compared with the previous forecasting methods,the contributions of our proposed improvement methods are mainly in the following aspects:1)we have fully considered the spatiotemporal characteristics of the data,rather than single standardized data.2)the improved parameter settings and evaluation indicators are more accurate for fitting and forecasting.3)we consider the impact of the epidemic stage and conduct reasonable data processing for different stage.Bingjie Yan Jun Wang Zhen Zhang Xiangyan Tang Yize Zhou Guopeng Zheng Qi Zou Yao Lu Boyi Liu Wenxuan Tu Neal Xiong 2020Computers, Materials & Continua2020,,9:2

7Resistivity response of coal under hydraulic fracturing with different injection rates:A laboratory study显示文摘Resistivity will have different response characteristics to the hydraulic fracture propagation process. In this work, a resistivity testing system for hydraulic fracturing specimens was established. Resistivity and acoustic emission(AE) information were jointly analysed to determine the dynamic response characteristics of resistivity during hydraulic fracture propagation. The results show that the water and fracture exert a competitive influence on the connection structure of the circuit, and there are two significant peak resistivity points in the curve, presenting a double peak therein. The peak resistivity data of the specimen with a larger fracture area are much different from the initial value. With the increase of the rate of injection, the range of variation of the highest value that can be reached with the specimen resistivity decreases. High resistivity rates or high resistivity fluctuations exhibit rapid a release of fracture energy. 9Ambient Temperature and Years of Life Lost:A National Study in China显示文摘Although numerous studies have investigated premature deaths attributable to temperature,effects of temperature on years of life lost(YLL)remain unclear.We estimated the relationship between temperatures and YLL,and quantified the YLL per death caused by temperature in China.We collected daily meteorological and mortality data,and calculated the daily YLL values for 364 locations(2013–2017 in Yunnan,Guangdong,Hunan,Zhejiang,and Jilin provinces,and 2006–2011 in other locations)in China.A time-series design with a distributed lag nonlinear model was first employed to estimate the location-specific associations between temperature and YLL rates(YLL/100,000 population),and a multivariate meta-analysis model was used to pool location-specific associations.Then,YLL per death caused by temperatures was calculated.The temperature and YLL rates consistently showed U-shaped associations.A mean of 1.02(95%confidence interval:0.67,1.37)YLL per death was attributable to temperature.Cold temperature caused 0.98 YLL per death with most from moderate cold(0.84).The mean YLL per death was higher in those with cardiovascular diseases(1.14),males(1.15),younger age categories(1.31 in people aged 65–74 years),and in central China(1.34)than in those with respiratory diseases(0.47),females(0.87),older people(0.85 in people R75 years old),and northern China(0.64)or southern China(1.19).The mortality burden was modified by annual temperature and temperature variability,relative humidity,latitude,longitude,altitude,education attainment,and central heating use.Temperatures caused substantial YLL per death in China,which was modified by demographic and regional characteristics.Tao Liu Chunliang Zhou Haoming Zhang Biao Huang Yanjun Xu Lifeng Lin Lijun Wang Ruying Hu Zhulin Hou Yize Xiao Junhua Li Xiaojun Xu Donghui Jin Mingfang Qin Qinglong Zhao Weiwei Gong Peng Yin Yiqing Xu Jianxiong Hu Jianpeng Xiao Weilin Zeng Xing Li Siqi Chen Lingchuan Guo Zuhua Rong Yonghui Zhang Cunrui Huang Yaodong Du Yuming Guo Shannon Rutherford Min Yu Maigeng Zhou Wenjun Ma 2021The Innovation2021,2,1:1
10Cationized Melamine-formaldehyde Resin for Improving the Wet Strength of Paper显示文摘In this work, melamine-formaldehyde resin was cationized by adding modifiers so that the fibers closely bonded to improve their usability and the wet strength of paper was greatly improved. Triethanolamine and dimethylamine were added to modify the melamine-formaldehyde resin,respectively.The mechanism of the cationized resin was explored and the possible chemical reactions were deduced. It was concluded that,with the use of triethanolamine,the most optimum product was obtained by hydroxymethylation for 30 min with a temperature of 85℃ and p H of 9. 0 where n( melamine) ∶ n( formaldehyde) ∶ n( methanol) ∶ n( triethanolamine) was 100 ∶ 330 ∶ 450 ∶ 15. With the combined use of dimethylamine and methanol,the optimal product was acquired by condensation for 30 min at a temperature of 50℃ and p H of 2. 0 at melamine, formaldehyde, methanol, and dimethylamine molar ratio of100∶ 330∶ 350∶ 20. With the only use of dimethylamine,the optimal product was obtained by condensation at melamine,formaldehyde,dimethylamine molar ratio of 100∶ 330∶ 10. The wet tensile strength of fruit-bagging paper was improved by adding cationized melamine-formaldehyde resin. 11TOWARD SUSTAINABLE MAIZE PRODUCTION FOR SMALLHOLDERS THROUGH OPTIMIZED STRATEGIES IN NORTH CHINA显示文摘Agricultural production by smallholders is crucial for ensuring food provision in China.However,smallholders face a series of challenges on their farms including high-to-excess resource inputs,low use efficiency,as well as negative environmental impacts,which may be unfavorable for sustainable agriculture production.This study developed a county-level sustainability assessment of maize production in Hebei,China,by applying multiple data sources in combination with emergy,carbon footprint,nitrogen footprint and costbenefit analyses.Scenario analysis was applied to explore the localized implementation strategies to achieve the sustainable farming system.The results show that the average emergy sustainability index(ESI)of maize at 2.31 is relatively low.The average greenhouse gas(GHG)emissions and reactive nitrogen(Nr)losses are 0.15 g·kcal^(−1) CO_(2)-eq and 3.75 mg·kcal^(−1) N,respectively.The average cost and net income are 12,700 and 4340 CNY·ha^(−1),respectively.These results indicate a great potential to improve the environmental-economic sustainability of the maize production system of smallholders.In addition,the environmental and economic indicators calculated from the maize production show a substantial spatial heterogeneity among counties,indicating a requirement for different optimization strategies to improve the environment-economy sustainability at a finer scale.Based on the multiple scenario analysis,optimal strategies targeting each county are proposed.By adopting the optimal strategies,the average ESI and net income could increase by 32%and 83%,respectively,and the average GHG emissions and Nr losses reduce by 33%and 35%,respectively.These findings provide an important reference for adopting different strategies to achieve environmenteconomy sustainability for smallholders production systems with diverse landscapes in North China and propose a transition pathway toward achieving agriculture sustainability for smallholders worldwide.Jie YAN Yize LIU Rui ZHANG Chenhui CUI Yingying ZHENG Minghao ZHUANG 2022Frontiers of Agricultural Science and Engineering2022,9,4:0

14Amorphous calcium magnesium phosphate nanocomposites with superior osteogenic activity for bone regeneration显示文摘The seek of bioactive materials for promoting bone regeneration is a challenging and longterm task.Functionalization with inorganic metal ions or drug molecules is considered effective strategies to improve the bioactivity of various existing biomaterials.Herein,amorphous calcium magnesium phosphate(ACMP)nanoparticles and simvastatin(SIM)-loaded ACMP(ACMP/SIM)nanocomposites were developed via a simple co-precipitation strategy.The physiochemical property of ACMP/SIM was explored using transmission electron microscope(TEM),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),powder X-ray diffraction(XRD)and highperformance liquid chromatograph(HPLC),and the role of Mg^(2+) in the formation of ACMP/SIM was revealed using X-ray absorption near-edge structure(XANES).After that,the transformation process of ACMP/SIM in simulated body fluid(SBF)was also tracked to simulate and explore the in vivo mineralization performance of materials.We find that ACMP/SIM releases ions of Ca^(2+),Mg^(2+)and PO_(4)^(3),when it is immersed in SBF at 37℃,and a phase transformation occurred during which the initially amorphous ACMP turns into self-assembled hydroxyapatite(HAP).Furthermore,ACMP/SIM displays high cytocompatibility and promotes the proliferation and osteogenic differentiation of MC3T3-E1 cells.For the in vivo studies,lamellar ACMP/SIM/Collagen scaffolds with aligned pore structures were prepared and used to repair a rat defect model in calvaria.ACMP/SIM/Collagen scaffolds show a positive effect in promoting the regeneration of calvaria defect after 12weeks.The bioactive ACMP/SIM nanocomposites are promising as bone repair materials.Considering the facile preparation process and superior in vitro/vivo bioactivity,the as-prepared ACMP/SIM would be a potential candidate for bone related biomedical applications.Yingying Jiang Shuo Tan Jianping Hu Xin Chen Feng Chen Qianting Yao Zhi Zhou Xiansong Wang Zifei Zhou Yunshan Fan Junjian Liu Yize Lin Lijia Liu Shisheng He 2021Regenerative Biomaterials2021,8,6:0

17Deep reinforcement learning-based drift parking control of automated vehicles显示文摘Drift parking usually requires precise control of a vehicle by a professional driver,which can reflect the performance of the vehicle under critical conditions.The obstacles to implementing this action include the high coupling between the longitudinal and lateral states,the high precision required for the vehicle initial state when the drift is triggered,and the difficulty in determining the reference state variables in the drift process.A two-segment drift parking control system is proposed in this paper.In the approaching control segment,the vehicle achieves the drift-triggered vehicle speed and pose,which relies on a pathtracking algorithm based on linear time-varying model predictive control.In the drifting control segment,the deep reinforcement learning algorithm twin-delayed deep deterministic policy gradient is creatively introduced to the controller design.It solves the precise vehicle motion control problem under the condition of the rear wheels having locked brakes.Through various simulations,the superiority and robustness to different initial conditions and abrupt changes in the parking space are verified.The effectiveness of the proposed control system is verified by a ground test.LENG Bo YU YiZe LIU Ming CAO Lei YANG Xing XIONG Lu 2023Science China(Technological Sciences)2023,66,4:0
