| 1 | Ambient Temperature and Years of Life Lost:A National Study in China显示文摘Although numerous studies have investigated premature deaths attributable to temperature,effects of temperature on years of life lost(YLL)remain unclear.We estimated the relationship between temperatures and YLL,and quantified the YLL per death caused by temperature in China.We collected daily meteorological and mortality data,and calculated the daily YLL values for 364 locations(2013–2017 in Yunnan,Guangdong,Hunan,Zhejiang,and Jilin provinces,and 2006–2011 in other locations)in China.A time-series design with a distributed lag nonlinear model was first employed to estimate the location-specific associations between temperature and YLL rates(YLL/100,000 population),and a multivariate meta-analysis model was used to pool location-specific associations.Then,YLL per death caused by temperatures was calculated.The temperature and YLL rates consistently showed U-shaped associations.A mean of 1.02(95%confidence interval:0.67,1.37)YLL per death was attributable to temperature.Cold temperature caused 0.98 YLL per death with most from moderate cold(0.84).The mean YLL per death was higher in those with cardiovascular diseases(1.14),males(1.15),younger age categories(1.31 in people aged 65–74 years),and in central China(1.34)than in those with respiratory diseases(0.47),females(0.87),older people(0.85 in people R75 years old),and northern China(0.64)or southern China(1.19).The mortality burden was modified by annual temperature and temperature variability,relative humidity,latitude,longitude,altitude,education attainment,and central heating use.Temperatures caused substantial YLL per death in China,which was modified by demographic and regional characteristics. | Tao Liu Chunliang Zhou Haoming Zhang Biao Huang Yanjun Xu Lifeng Lin Lijun Wang Ruying Hu Zhulin Hou Yize Xiao Junhua Li Xiaojun Xu Donghui Jin Mingfang Qin Qinglong Zhao Weiwei Gong Peng Yin Yiqing Xu Jianxiong Hu Jianpeng Xiao Weilin Zeng Xing Li Siqi Chen Lingchuan Guo Zuhua Rong Yonghui Zhang Cunrui Huang Yaodong Du Yuming Guo Shannon Rutherford Min Yu Maigeng Zhou Wenjun Ma | 2021 | The Innovation2021,2,1: | 1 |
| 2 | Thermally activated delayed fuorescent small molecule sensitized fuorescent polymers with reduced concentration‑quenching for efcient electroluminescence显示文摘Thermally activated delayed fuorescence(TADF)small molecule bis-[3-(9,9-dimethyl-9,10-dihydroacridine)-phenyl]-sulfone(m-ACSO2)was used as a universal host to sensitize three conventional fuorescent polymers for maximizing the electroluminescent performance.The excitons were utilized via inter-molecular energy transfer and the non-radiative decays were successfully refrained in the condensed states.Therefore,the signifcant enhancement of the electroluminescent efciencies was demonstrated.For instance,after doping poly(9,9-dioctylfuorene-co-benzothiadiazole)(F8BT)into m-ACSO2,the external quantum efciency(EQE)was improved by a factor of 17.0 in the solution-processed organic light-emitting device(OLED),as compared with the device with neat F8BT.In terms of the other well-known fuorescent polymers,i.e.,poly(para-phenylene vinylene)copolymer(Super Yellow,SY)and poly[2-methoxy-5-(2-ethylhexyloxy)-1,4-phenylenevinylene](MEH-PPV),their EQEs in the devices were respectively enhanced by 70%and 270%,compared with the reference devices based on the conventional host 1,3-di(9H-carbazol-9-yl)benzene(mCP).Besides the improved charge balance in the bipolar TADF host,these were partially ascribed to reduced fuorescence quenching in the mixed flms. | Qin Xue Mingfang Huo Guohua Xie | 2023 | Frontiers of Optoelectronics2023,16,1: | 0 |
| 3 | A Secure Rotation Invariant LBP Feature Computation in Cloud Environment显示文摘In the era of big data,outsourcing massive data to a remote cloud server is a promising approach.Outsourcing storage and computation services can reduce storage costs and computational burdens.However,public cloud storage brings about new privacy and security concerns since the cloud servers can be shared by multiple users.Privacy-preserving feature extraction techniques are an effective solution to this issue.Because the Rotation Invariant Local Binary Pattern(RILBP)has been widely used in various image processing fields,we propose a new privacy-preserving outsourcing computation of RILBP over encrypted images in this paper(called PPRILBP).To protect image content,original images are encrypted using block scrambling,pixel circular shift,and pixel diffusion when uploaded to the cloud server.It is proved that RILBP features remain unchanged before and after encryption.Moreover,the server can directly extract RILBP features from encrypted images.Analyses and experiments confirm that the proposed scheme is secure and effective,and outperforms previous secure LBP feature computing methods. | Shiqi Wang Mingfang Jiang Jiaohua Qin Hengfu Yang Zhichen Gao | 2021 | Computers, Materials & Continua2021,,9: | 0 |
| 4 | Factors influencing antibiotics adsorption onto engineered adsorbents显示文摘The study evaluated the adsorption of two antibiotics by four engineered adsorbents (hypercrosslinked resin MN-202, macroporous resin XAD-4, activated carbon F-400, and multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT)) from aqueous solutions. The dynamic results demonstrated the dominant influence of pore size in adsorption. The adsorption amounts of antibiotics on XAD-4 were attributed to the hydrophobic effect, whereas steric hindrance or micropore-filling played a main role in the adsorption of antibiotics by F-400 because of its high microporosity. Aside from F-400, similar patterns of pH-dependent adsorption were observed, implying the importance of antibiotic molecular forms to the adsorption process for adsorbents. Increasing the ionic concentration with CaCl 2 produced particular adsorption characteristics on MWCNT at pH 2.0 and F-400 at pH 8.0, which were attributed to the highly available contact surfaces and molecular sieving, respectively. Its hybrid characteristics incorporating a considerable portion of mesopores and micropores made hypercross linked MN-202 a superior antibiotic adsorbent with high adsorption capacity.
