| 2 | Dark matter direct search sensitivity of the PandaX-4T experiment显示文摘The Panda X-4T experiment, a 4-ton scale dark matter direct detection experiment, is being planned at the China Jinping Underground Laboratory. In this paper we present a simulation study of the expected background in this experiment. In a 2.8-ton fiducial mass and the signal region between 1-10 keV electron equivalent energy, the total electron recoil background is found to be 4.9 × 10^(-5) kg^(-1) d^(-1) keV^(-1). The nuclear recoil background in the same region is 2.8 × 10^(-7) kg^(-1) d^(-1) keV^(-1). | 5 | Boosting 5-ALA-based photodynamic therapy by a liposomal nanomedicine through intracellular iron ion regulation显示文摘5-Aminolevulinic acid(5-ALA)has been approved for clinical photodynamic therapy(PDT)due to its negligible photosensitive toxicity.However,the curative effect of 5-ALA is restricted by intracellular biotransformation inactivation of 5-ALA and potential DNA repair of tumor cells.Inspired by the crucial function of iron ions in 5-ALA transformation and DNA repair,a liposomal nanomedicine(MFLs@5-ALA/DFO)with intracellular iron ion regulation property was developed for boosting the PDT of 5-ALA,which was prepared by co-encapsulating 5-ALA and DFO(deferoxamine,a special iron chelator)into the membrane fusion liposomes(MFLs).MFLs@5-ALA/DFO showed an improved pharmaceutical behavior and rapidly fused with tumor cell membrane for 5-ALA and DFO co-delivery.MFLs@5-ALA/DFO could efficiently reduce iron ion,thus blocking the biotransformation of photosensitive protoporphyrin IX(Pp IX)to heme,realizing significant accumulation of photosensitivity.Meanwhile,the activity of DNA repair enzyme was also inhibited with the reduction of iron ion,resulting in the aggravated DNA damage in tumor cells.Our findings showed MFLs@5-ALA/DFO had potential to be applied for enhanced PDT of 5-ALA. | Airong Li Chenglin Liang Lihua Xu Yiyang Wang Wei Liu Kaixiang Zhang Junjie Liu Jinjin Shi | 2021 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2021,11,5: | 1 |

| 7 | Designing Electrochemical Nanoreactors to Accelerate Li_(2)S_(1/2) Three-Dimensional Growth Process and Generating More Li_(2)S for Advanced Li–S Batteries显示文摘With advantages of low costs and high energy density,Li–S batteries are considered as one of the most promising energy storage devices.However,Li_(2)S_(2) with a high dissociation energy and insulative properties is hard to convert into Li_(2)S,resulting in underutilization of sulfur capacity.Herein,Co-Mo_(2)C@C yolk–shell spheres as nanoreactors were designed to confront this challenge rationally.The Co-Mo_(2)C@C-induced Li_(2)S_(1/2) nucleation and growth in the three-dimensional process and the cathode produced more Li_(2)S after full discharge.Experimental studies and theoretical calculations reveal that the conversion barrier from Li_(2)S_(2) into Li_(2)S was lowered while the diffusion of lithium ions and electron transfer accelerated when using the Co-Mo_(2)C@C catalyst.Based on the above advantages,the Co-Mo_(2)C@C/S cathode exhibits a high reversible capacity and excellent cyclic stability,such as an initial specific capacity of 1200 mAh g^(−1) at 0.1 C with 709 mAh g^(−1) at 1.0 C after 1000 cycles with a low capacity fading rate of 0.04%per cycle.Even at high densities of 3.0 C and 5.0 C,the specific capacities are 647.6 and 557.7 mAh g^(−1) after 400 cycles,respectively.Impressively,it also shows ca.770 and 900 mAh g^(−1) at 0.2 C after 50 cycles with high sulfur loadings of 4.2 and 5.1 mg cm−2,respectively.The present work may provide new insights into the design of nanoreactors to promote Li_(2)S_(1/2) growth in a three-dimensional process and accelerate conversion from solid Li_(2)S_(2) to solid Li_(2)S in high performance Li–S batteries. | Junhao Li Kaixiang Shi Jiajie Pan Junda Pan Yongxian Lin Kaixin Wang Hao Li Jinyun Liao Huafeng Dong Quanbing Liu | 2023 | Renewables2023,1,3: | 0 |

| 12 | An Accurate and Efficient Approach for High-Frequency Transformer Parameter Extraction显示文摘Accurate parasitic parameter extraction of high-frequency transformers is one of the key techniques to efficiently design a Switched-mode power supply(SMPS). An approach to accurately and efficiently extract the parasitic parameters of high-frequency transformers is proposed. The high-frequency transformer is first de-composed into first-order RL and second-order RLC circuits according to inherent step response characteristics. Through the measured discharging pulse and damped oscillation responses of the high-frequency transformer excited by a square wave, we can extract the equivalent circuit parameters through fitting the responses with Particle swarm optimization(PSO). The equivalent circuits of the high-frequency transformer with the desired parameters are obtained for the SMPS design. | 16 | The“ARM”principle and practice:Preventing postoperative complications of circumcision显示文摘Background: As one of the most commonly performed surgical procedures, circumcision may lead to complications. However, studies on preventing postoperative complications are scarce and still insufficient to draw any conclusions. This retrospective study aimed to summarize the surgical principles and consideration for preventing complications after circumcision.Methods: We reviewed 28 patients(aged 3–45 years;median age, 24 years) with prepuce hyperplasia or phimosis treated with our modified circumcision technique. In our modified technique, an accurate incision design is made through the stretch test, the stenosis is released, and veins and lymphatic tissues in the fascia are maintained. These surgical details for preventing complications were abbreviated to “ARM.”Results: None of the patients had complications at the 6-month follow-up postoperatively. Only mild prepuce edema was observed, which returned to the normal condition spontaneously within 2–3 weeks. | 18 | Carrier-free programmed spherical nucleic acid for effective ischemic stroke therapy via self-delivery antisense oligonucleotide显示文摘Antisense oligonucleotide(ASO)for anti-apoptosis is emerging as a highly promising therapeutic agents for ischemic stroke with complex pathological environment.However,its therapeutic efficacy is seriously limited by a number of challenges including inefficient internalization,low blood-brain barrier(BBB)penetration,poor stability,and potential toxicity of the carrier.Herein,a carrier-free programmed spherical nucleic acid nanostructure is developed for effective ischemic stroke therapy via integrating multifunctional modules into one DNA structure.By co-encoding caspase-3-ASO and transferrin receptor(TfR)aptamer into circle template,the spherical nucleic acid nanostructure(TD)was obtained via self-assembly.The experimental results demonstrated that the developed TD displayed efficient BBB penetration capability(6.4 times)and satisfactory caspase-3 silence effect(2.3 times)due to the dense DNA packaging in TD.Taken together,our study demonstrated that the carrier-free programmed spherical nucleic acid nanostructure could significantly improve the therapeutic efficacy of ischemic stroke and was a promising therapeutic tool for various brain damage-related diseases. | Wenyan Yu Cuiping Xuan Bingbing Liu Lei Zhou Na Yin Enpeng Gong Zhenzhong Zhang Yinchao Li Kaixiang Zhang Jinjin Shi | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,1: | 0 |
