| 6 | Rapid Estimation of Microfibril Angle of Increment Cores of Chinese Fir by Near Infrared Spectroscopy显示文摘Near infrared (NIR) spectroscope and X-ray diffractometry have been used for rapid prediction of the microfibril angle (MFA) which is one of the important factors affecting wood properties. Wood property evaluation in breeding and resource evaluation requires effective and rapid analysis methods for thousands of samples. In the experiment, all samples from increment cores with moisture content of 60% to 150% were used for measuring MFA by X-ray scanning diffractometry. Then, a partial least squares regression (PLS) model was built based on NIR data and MFA measured. As a result, a strong linear relationship was found between NIR spectroscope fitted and X-ray measured with coefficient of calibration 0.95 and prediction model rate 0.88. | 7 | Effects of Microplastics on Expression of Resistance Genes and Virulence Genes of Vibrio alginolyticus显示文摘[Objectives]To study the effects of microplastics on antibiotic resistance genes and virulence genes of Vibrio alginolyticus,so as to provide a certain reference for controlling marine pollution,curbing the spread of environmental antibiotic resistance genes and virulence genes,formulating environmental policies,and maintaining food safety.[Methods]After adding V.alginolyticus into the artificial seawater,they were divided into three groups,namely blank control group(BLK),polyvinyl chloride microplastic group(PVC group)and polyvinyl alcohol microplastic group(PVA group).Aerated culture experiments were carried out,and the effects of microplastics on the expression of resistance genes and virulence genes of V.alginolyticus were studied by PCR and qPCR methods.[Results]The presence of microplastics significantly changed the resistance gene structure of V.alginolyticus.Compared with the control group,the cfxA and cfr resistance genes were detected in the microplastic group.However,only PVC group detected blaZ resistance gene,and only PVA group did not detect aaC resistance gene.In addition,compared with the control group,the expressions of virulence genes in the microplastic group were all down-regulated(P<0.01).[Conclusions]This study provides some reference for curbing the spread of environmental antibiotic resistance genes and virulence genes,formulating environmental policies,and maintaining food safety,but the specific mechanisms of drug resistance and virulence need further research. | Liangchuan CHEN Zehui SU Haiyun FENG Weijie ZHANG Huanying PANG Na WANG | 2023 | Asian Agricultural Research2023,15,2: | 0 |
| 8 | Plasma functionalized MoSe2 for efficient nonenzymatic sensing of hydrogen peroxide in ultra-wide pH range显示文摘Enzymatic sensors have inherent problems such as the low stability and limited pH range in industrial and biomedical applications and therefore,more efficient nonenzymatic sensors are highly desirable.Herein,plasmafunctionalized defective MoSe_(2)is prepared and studied as a highly efficient catalyst for electrochemical sensing of H_(2)O_(2).Experiments and theoretical computations show that the plasma-induced Se multi-vacancies and nitrogen dopants generate new active sites,expose more edge active surfaces,narrow the bandgap,and strengthen binding with the·OH intermediate,which imparts new fundamental knowledge about the roles of defects in catalysis.The defective MoSe_(2)-catalyzed sensor delivers competitive performance in hydrogen peroxide detection such as a low detection limit of 12.6 nmol/L,wide operational pH range of 1−13,good long-term stability,and high selectivity.The portable sensor produced by screen printing confirms the excellent commercial potential and in addition,the results not only reveal a novel concept to design and fabricate high-performance sensors for H_(2)_(O2)but also provide insights into the effectiveness of surface modification of diverse catalytic materials. | Yang Luo Donghai Wu Zehui Li Xiao‐Yan Li Yinghong Wu Shien‐Ping Feng Carlo Menon Houyang Chen Paul K.Chu | 2022 | SmartMat2022,3,3: | 0 |
| 9 | Ancient DNA reveals the maternal genetic history of East Asian domestic pigs显示文摘Zoo-archaeological and genetic evidence suggest that pigs were domesticated independently in Central China and Eastern Anatolia along with the development of agricultural communities and civilizations.However,the genetic history of domestic pigs,especially in China,has not been fully explored.In this study,we generate 42 complete mitochondrial DNA sequences from~7500-to 2750-year-old individuals from the Yellow River basin.Our results show that the maternal genetic continuity of East Asian domestic pigs dates back to at least the Early to Middle Neolithic.In contrast,the Near Eastern ancestry in European domestic pigs saw a near-complete genomic replacement by the European wild boar.The majority of East Asian domestic pigs share close haplotypes,and the most recent common ancestor of most branches dates back to less than 20,000 years before present,inferred using new substitution rates of whole mitogenomes or combined protein-coding regions.Two major population expansion events of East Asian domestic pigs coincided with changes in climate,widespread adoption of introduced crops,and the development of agrarian societies.These findings add to our understanding of the maternal genetic composition and help to complete the picture of domestic pig evolutionary history in East Asia. | Ming Zhang Yichen Liu Zhipeng Li Peng Lü Jacob D.Gardner Maolin Ye Jihuai Wang Miaomiao Yang Jing Shao Weilin Wang Qingyan Dai Peng Cao Ruowei Yang Feng Liu Xiaotian Feng Lizhao Zhang Enwei Li Yunzheng Shi Zehui Chen Shilun Zhu Weiwei Zhai Tao Deng Ziyuan Duan E.Andrew Bennett Songmei Hu Qiaomei Fu | 2022 | Journal of Genetics and Genomics2022,49,6: | 0 |
