| 1 | On the γ' precipitates of the normal and inverse Portevin-Le Chatelier effect in a wrought Ni-base superalloy显示文摘The Portevin-Le Chatelier(PLC) effects in a wrought Ni-base superalloy with different γ' precipitates contents have been investigated. Detailed analysis on the serration type of the tensile curves indicates that the γ' precipitates have a decisive influence on the transformation from normal to inverse PLC behavior, which is rarely proposed in other works. The average flow velocity at the cross section is regarded as the settling speed of the particles. A formula of group settling velocity for non-uniform particles is obtained by analyzing the experimental data. Also, a preliminary study on the group fall velocity of each size of non-uniform particles is carried out, and fall velocity formulas for various size groups are obtained. | 11 | Ligand-regulated unusual nickel clusters: A centrosymmetric dicubane Ni_(8) and a tetrahedral Ni_(10) cluster显示文摘Based on the reported Fe clusters constructed by using N-tris(hydroxymethyl)methylglycine (H_5thmmg),herein,we explored the use of H_5 thmmg for Ni chemistry.Successfully,an octanuclear Ni cluster,Ni_(8)O(H_(3)thmmg)_6·2NO_(3)(Ni_(8)) was acquired under solvothermal condition.Its metallic core is comprised of two centrosymmetric cubanes Ni_(4)(μ_(3)-O)_(3)(μ_6-O) linked by sharing an O^(2-)ion and six H_(3)thmmg^(2-) ligands are attached to the periphery.Interestingly,the 2-mercapto-5-amino-1,3,4-thiadiazole (Hmat) ligand with both N and S donor atoms was introduced into the synthesis of Ni_(8) cluster,a disparate decanuclear nickel cluster,Ni_(10)O(OH)_(2)(H_(3)thmmg)_(4)(mat)_(8)(Ni_(10)) is assembled by H_(3)thmmg^(2-) and mat^(-) mixed ligands.The metal core of Ni_(10)cluster is a pudgy tetrahedron,whose four vertexes are four Ni^(2+)ions and the remanent six Ni^(2+) ions are located in the tetrahedral cavity.Four H_(3)thmmg^(2-) ligands are located at the four vertices of the tetrahedron and 8 mat^(-) ligands are all on the six sides of the tetrahedron.The different synthetic conditions contribute to the different configurations.Magnetic studies indicate that both complexes Ni_(8) and Ni_(10) display antiferromagnetic interactions. | Ying Zou Qiang Gao Na Sun Songde Han Xiaoyu Li Guoming Wang | 2023 | Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,3: | 0 |
| 12 | Wind erosion from crusted playa surfaces by no saltation and with saltation:A comparison through laboratory wind tunnel experiments显示文摘Playas are common in many arid regions and recognized as a major source of hypersaline particles.A better understanding of wind erosion on crusted playas has significant implications for land management and pollution control practices.We hypothesized that wind erosion rates of crusted playas were complicated and controlled by the interactions between playa crust and wind-induced saltation conditions.However,comparisons regarding the effects of different playa crusts on wind erosion under no saltation(NS)and with saltation(WS)conditions were lacking.In this study,laboratory wind tunnel experiments were carried out to simulate both NS and WS conditions,to investigate the erosion rates of different crust types(Salt,Takyr,and Puffic crust)at different wind speeds.Results showed that:1)Salt crust had greater crust strengths than did Takyr crust and Puffic crust;2)wind erosion rates under the WS condition were up to 60 times greater than those under the NS condition,suggesting that sand bombardment was the dominant mechanism responsible for removal of fine material from crusted playa surfaces;3)both sand bombardment rate and wind erosion rate of the playa crusts increased with increasing wind speed under the WS conditions;4)Puffic crust exhibited a greater rate of wind erosion compared to both the Takyr and Salt crusts under the Ns condition,yet tended to have a lower rate of wind erosion compared to both the Takyr and Salt crusts under the WS condition.This difference can be attributed to the fact that soft Puffic crusts are pliable and can dissipate the force of impacting grains under the Ws conditions.Our results indicated that wind erosion processes on crusted playas are complicated and are affected by wind-induced saltation and crust type,specifically crust strength and elasticityofthesurface. | Guoming Zhang Li Li Wenjian Tang Lianyou Liu Peijun Shi Xujiao Han jiadong Dai | 2023 | International Soil and Water Conservation Research2023,11,3: | 0 |
| 13 | A low-cost and high-performance self-trigger method for high-voltage transient measurement显示文摘Stable triggering of acquisition devices is critical to accurately measure electromagnetic transients,especially for very fast transient overvoltages(VFTOs).A highly stable and lowcos t self-trigger method for transient measurement is proposed.An integrated low-voltage arm module was developed to synchronously realise the triggering and VFTO measurement.The trigger branch was developed using a high-pass filter.This component obtained the high-frequency component of the VFTO to trigger the oscilloscope.The trigger branch was integrated with the measurement branch through an impedance converter.An attenuator was implemented before the impedance converter to avoid overvoltage damage to the chip.The circuit parameters of the attenuator were optimised to alleviate the disturbance of the measurement branch.The calibration results demonstrated that the±1 dB bandwidth of the measurement branch in this system ranged from 11.8 Hz to 105 MHz.The low cutoff frequency of the trigger branch was 710 Hz.The VFTO waveforms generated by the operation of a disconnector in a real 252 kV gas insulated switchgear were measured using the proposed system.The test results verified that the self-trigger measurement system can provide stable trigger signals and accurately measure the VFTO waveforms. | Hao Liu Guoming Ma Weiqi Qin Wei Wang Houxian Du Lei Wang Shicong Zhai Fuping Zeng Weixing Han | 2023 | High Voltage2023,8,2: | 0 |
| 14 | Transcranial direct current stimulation inhibits epileptic activity propagation in a large-scale brain network model显示文摘Transcranial direct current stimulation(tDCS)is a noninvasive technique that uses constant,low-intensity direct current to regulate brain activities.Clinical studies have shown that cathode-tDCS(c-tDCS)is effective in reducing seizure frequency in patients with epilepsy.Due to the heterogeneity and patient specificity of seizures,patient-specific epilepsy networks are increasingly important in exploring the regulatory role of c-tDCS.In this study,we first set the left hippocampus,parahippocampus,and amygdala as the epileptogenic zone(EZ),and the left inferior temporal cortex and ventral temporal cortex as the initial propagation zone(PZ)to establish a large-scale epilepsy network model.Then we set tDCS cathode locations according to the maximum average energy of the simulated EEG signals and systematically study c-tDCS inhibitory effects on the propagation of epileptic activity.The results show that c-tDCS is effective in suppressing the propagation of epileptic activity.Further,to consider the patient specificity,we set specific EZ and PZ according to the clinical diagnosis of 6 patients and establish patient-specific epileptic networks.We find that c-tDCS can suppress the propagation of abnormal activity in most patient-specific epileptic networks.However,when the PZ is widely distributed in both hemispheres,the treatment effect of c-tDCS is not satisfactory.Hence,we propose dual-cathode tDCS.For epilepsy models with a wide distribution of PZ,it can inhibit the propagation of epileptiform activity in other nodes except EZ and PZ without increasing the tDCS current strength.Our results provide theoretical support for the treatment of epilepsy with tDCS. | YU Ying FAN YuBo HAN Fang LUAN GuoMing WANG QingYun | 2023 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2023,66,12: | 0 |
| 15 | UltraJam:Ultrasonic adaptive jammer based on nonlinearity effect of microphone circuits显示文摘The widely used devices(e.g.smartphones,recorders)equipped with microphones have posed a severe threat to confidential conversations.In this paper,we design an inaudible anti-eavesdropping method:UltraJam,to reduce the risk of unwanted and secret recordings.UltraJam uses the ultrasonic signal to mask conversation.By leveraging the nonlinear effect of microphone circuits,the adaptive ultrasonic signal can be recorded and demodulated into low-frequency which can effectively squash the sound.Based on the characteristics of the attenuation coefficient and frequency response,we construct a number of jamming signals with different bandwidths and designed a wideband signal injection array,meanwhile adaptively adjust the power at each bandwidth signal to cover more frequency bands and increase usage scenarios.To verify the security of the microphone jamming system,we also utilize several audio recovery methods to recover the raw signal from jamming noise.The experimental results show that less than 1% of the words are recognized in the jamming recording,and even with the audio recovery method,99% of the words still cannot be recognized in the recovered jamming recording. | Zhicheng Han Jun Ma Chao Xu Guoming Zhang | 2023 | High-Confidence Computing2023,3,3: | 0 |
