1The enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry mission—eXTP显示文摘In this paper we present the enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry mission—eXTP. eXTP is a space science mission designed to study fundamental physics under extreme conditions of density, gravity and magnetism. The mission aims at determining the equation of state of matter at supra-nuclear density, measuring effects of QED, and understanding the dynamics of matter in strong-field gravity. In addition to investigating fundamental physics, eXTP will be a very powerful observatory for astrophysics that will provide observations of unprecedented quality on a variety of galactic and extragalactic objects. 6Massive gastrointestinal bleeding: An unusual case of asymptomatic extrarenal, visceral, fibromuscular dysplasia显示文摘Extrarenal fibromuscular dysplasia causing gastro- intestinal bleeding without other manifestations and especially sparing renal vasculature is uncommon. The diagnosis of this entity is usually made by radiographic appearance and the treatment is controversial. To our knowledge only seven cases of visceral fibromuscular dysplasia as a primary manifestation of the disease have been described, symptoms range from abdominal pain to gangrene. This is the first case of visceral fibromuscular dysplasia presenting with otherwise asymptomatic gastrointestinal bleeding, without bowel necrosis or ischemic changes. 18Traps and trumps from adjacent-to-tumor samples in gastric cancer research显示文摘The search for cancer biomarkers is frequently based on comparisons between tumors and adjacent-to-tumor samples. However, even after histological confirmation of been free of cancer cells, these adjacent-to-tumor samples might harbor molecular alterations which are not sufficient to cause them to look like cancer, but can differentiate these cells from normal cells. When comparing them, potential biomarkers are missed, and mainly the opportunity of finding initial aberrations presents in both tumors and adjacent samples, but not in true normal samples from non-cancer patients, resulting in misinterpretations about the carcinogenic process. Nevertheless,collecting adjacent-to-tumor samples brings trumps to be explored. The addition of samples from non-cancer patients opens an opportunity to increase the finds of the molecular cascade of events in the carcinogenic process.Differences between normal samples and adjacent samples might represent the first steps of the carcinogenic process. 19Observatory science with eXTP显示文摘In this White Paper we present the potential of the enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry(eXTP) mission for studies related to Observatory Science targets. These include flaring stars, supernova remnants, accreting white dwarfs, low and high mass X-ray binaries, radio quiet and radio loud active galactic nuclei, tidal disruption events, and gamma-ray bursts. eXTP will be excellently suited to study one common aspect of these objects: their often transient nature. 20Google timeline accuracy assessment and error prediction显示文摘Google Location Timeline,once activated,allows to track devices and save their locations.This feature might be useful in the future as available data for evidence in investigations.For that,the court would be interested in the reliability of these data.The position is presented in the form of a pair of coordinates and a radius,hence the estimated area for tracked device is enclosed by a circle.This research focuses on the assessment of the accuracy of the locations given by Google Location History Timeline,which variables affect this accuracy and the initial steps to develop a linear multivariate model that can potentially predict the actual error with respect to the true location considering environmental variables.The determination of the potential influential variables(configuration of mobile device connectivity,speed of movement and environment)was set through a series of experiments in which the true position of the device was recorded with a reference Global Positioning System(GPS)device with a superior order of accuracy.The accuracy was assessed measuring the distance between the Google provided position and the de facto one,later referred to as Google error.If this Google error distance is less than the radius provided,we define it as a hit.The configuration that has the largest hit rate is when the mobile device has GPS available,with a 52%success.Then the use of 3G and 2G connection go with 38%and 33%respectively.The Wi-Fi connection only has a hit rate of 7%.Regarding the means of transport,when the connection is 2G or 3G,the worst results are in Still with a hit rate of 9%and the best in Car with 57%.Regarding the prediction model,the distances and angles from the position of the device to the three nearest cell towers,and the categorical(nonnumerical)variables of Environment and means of transport were taking as input variables in this initial study.To evaluate the usability of a model,a Model hit is defined when the actual observation is within the 95%confidence interval provided by the model.Out of the models developed,the one that shows the best results was the one that predicted the accuracy when the used network is 2G,with 76%of Model hits.The second model with best performance had only a 23%success(with the mobile network set to 3G).Andrea Macarulla Rodriguez Christian Tiberius Roel van Bree Zeno Geradts 2018Forensic Sciences Research2018,3,3:0
