Study of BESIII trigger efficiencies with the 2018 J/ψ data显示文摘Using a dedicated data sample taken in 2018 on the J/ψpeak,we perform a detailed study of the trigger efficiencies of the BESIII detector.The efficiencies are determined from three representative physics processes,namely Bhabha scattering,dimuon production and generic hadronic events with charged particles.The combined efficiency of all active triggers approaches 100%in most cases,with uncertainties small enough not to affect most physics analyses. | M.Ablikim M.N.Achasov P.Adlarson S.Ahmed M.Albrecht R.Aliberti A.Amoroso M.R.An Q.An X.H.Bai Y.Bai O.Bakina R.Baldini Ferroli I.Balossino Y.Ban K.Begzsuren N.Berger M.Bertani D.Bettoni F.Bianchi J.Bloms A.Bortone I.Boyko R.A.Briere H.Cai X.Cai A.Calcaterra G.F.Cao N.Cao S.A.Cetin J.F.Chang W.L.Chang G.Chelkov D.Y.Chen G.Chen H.S.Chen M.L.Chen S.J.Chen X.R.Chen Y.B.Chen Z.J Chen W.S.Cheng G.Cibinetto F.Cossio X.F.Cui H.L.Dai X.C.Dai A.Dbeyssi R.E.de Boer D.Dedovich Z.Y.Deng A.Denig I.Denysenko M.Destefanis F.De Mori Y.Ding C.Dong J.Dong L.Y.Dong M.Y.Dong X.Dong S.X.Du Y.L.Fan J.Fang S.S.Fang Y.Fang R.Farinelli L.Fava F.Feldbauer G.Felici C.Q.Feng J.H.Feng M.Fritsch C.D.Fu Y.Gao Y.Gao Y.Gao Y.G.Gao I.Garzia P.T.Ge C.Geng E.M.Gersabeck A Gilman K.Goetzen L.Gong W.X.Gong W.Gradl M.Greco L.M.Gu M.H.Gu S.Gu Y.T.Gu C.Y Guan A.Q.Guo L.B.Guo R.P.Guo Y.P.Guo A.Guskov T.T.Han W.Y.Han X.Q.Hao F.A.Harris H Hüsken K.L.He F.H.Heinsius C.H.Heinz T.Held Y.K.Heng C.Herold M.Himmelreich T.Holtmann Y.R.Hou Z.L.Hou H.M.Hu J.F.Hu T.Hu Y.Hu G.S.Huang L.Q.Huang X.T.Huang Y.P.Huang Z.Huang T.Hussain W.Ikegami Andersson W.Imoehl M.Irshad S.Jaeger S.Janchiv Q.Ji Q.P.Ji X.B.Ji X.L.Ji H.B.Jiang X.S.Jiang J.B.Jiao Z.Jiao S.Jin Y.Jin T.Johansson N.Kalantar-Nayestanaki X.S.Kang R.Kappert M.Kavatsyuk B.C.Ke I.K.Keshk A.Khoukaz P.Kiese R.Kiuchi R.Kliemt L.Koch O.B.Kolcu B.Kopf M.Kuemmel M.Kuessner A.Kupsc M.G.Kurth W.Kühn J.J.Lane J.S.Lange P.Larin A.Lavania L.Lavezzi Z.H.Lei H.Leithoff M.Lellmann T.Lenz C.Li C.H.Li Cheng Li D.M.Li F.Li G.Li H.Li H.Li H.B.Li H.J.Li J.L.Li J.Q.Li J.S.Li Ke Li L.K.Li Lei Li P.R.Li S.Y.Li W.D.Li W.G.Li X.H.Li X.L.Li Z.Y.Li H.Liang H.Liang H.Liang Y.F.Liang Y.T.Liang L.Z.Liao J.Libby C.X.Lin B.J.Liu C.X.Liu D.Liu F.H.Liu Fang Liu Feng Liu H.B.Liu H.M.Liu Huanhuan Liu Huihui Liu J.B.Liu J.L.Liu J.Y.Liu K.Liu K.Y.Liu Ke Liu L.Liu M.H.Liu P.L.Liu Q.Liu Q.Liu S.B.Liu Shuai Liu T.Liu W.M.Liu X.Liu Y.Liu Y.B.Liu Z.A.Liu Z.Q.Liu X.C.Lou F.X.Lu H.J.Lu J.D.Lu J.G.Lu X.L.Lu Y.Lu Y.P.Lu C.L.Luo M.X.Luo b P.W.Luo T.Luo X.L.Luo S.Lusso X.R.Lyu F.C.Ma H.L.Ma L.L.Ma M.M.Ma Q.M.Ma R.Q.Ma R.T.Ma X.X.Ma X.Y.Ma F.E.Maas M.Maggiora S.Maldaner S.Malde Q.A.Malik A.Mangoni Y.J.Mao Z.P.Mao S.Marcello Z.X.Meng J.G.Messchendorp G.Mezzadri T.J.Min R.E.Mitchell X.H.Mo Y.J.Mo N.Yu.Muchnoi H.Muramatsu S.Nakhoul Y.Nefedov F.Nerling I.B.Nikolaev Z.Ning S.Nisar S.L.Olsen Q.Ouyang S.Pacetti X.Pan Y.Pan A.Pathak P.Patteri M.Pelizaeus H.P.Peng K.Peters J.Pettersson J.L.Ping R.G.Ping R.Poling V.Prasad H.Qi H.R.Qi K.H.Qi M.Qi T.Y.Qi T.Y.Qi S.Qian W.-B.Qian Z.Qian C.F.Qiao L.Q.Qin X.S.Qin Z.H.Qin J.F.Qiu S.Q.Qu K.H.Rashid K.Ravindran C.F.Redmer A.Rivetti V.Rodin M.Rolo G.Rong Ch.Rosner M.Rump H.S.Sang A.Sarantsev Y.Schelhaas C.Schnier K.Schoenning M.Scodeggio D.C.Shan W.Shan X.Y.Shan J.F.Shangguan M.Shao C.P.Shen P.X.Shen X.Y.Shen H.C.Shi R.S.Shi X.Shi X.D Shi W.M.Song Y.X.Song S.Sosio S.Spataro K.X.Su P.P.Su F.F.Sui G.X.Sun H.K.Sun J.F.Sun L.Sun S.S.Sun T.Sun W.Y.Sun X Sun Y.J.Sun Y.K.Sun Y.Z.Sun Z.T.Sun Y.H.Tan Y.X.Tan C.J.Tang G.Y.Tang J.Tang J.X.Teng V.Thoren I.Uman B.Wang C.W.Wang D.Y.Wang H.J.Wang H.P.Wang K.Wang L.L.Wang M.Wang M.Z.Wang Meng Wang W.Wang W.H.Wang W.P.Wang X.Wang X.F.Wang X.L.Wang Y.Wang Y.D.Wang Y.F.Wang Y.Q.Wang Y.Y.Wang Z.Wang Z.Y.Wang Ziyi Wang Zongyuan Wang D.H.Wei P.Weidenkaff F.Weidner S.P.Wen D.J.White U.Wiedner G.Wilkinson M.Wolke L.Wollenberg J.F.Wu L.H.Wu L.J.Wu X.Wu Z.Wu L.Xia H.Xiao S.Y.Xiao Z.J.Xiao X.H.Xie Y.G.Xie Y.H.Xie T.Y.Xing G.F.Xu Q.J.Xu W.Xu X.P.Xu F.Yan L.Yan W.B.Yan W.C.Yan Xu Yan H.J.Yang H.X.Yang L.Yang S.L.Yang Y.X.Yang Yifan Yang Zhi Yang M.Ye M.H.Ye J.H.Yin Z.Y.You B.X.Yu C.X.Yu G.Yu J.S.Yu T.Yu C.Z.Yuan L.Yuan X.Q.Yuan Y.Yuan Z.Y.Yuan C.X.Yue A.Yuncu A.A.Zafar Y.Zeng B.X.Zhang Guangyi Zhang H.Zhang H.H.Zhang H.Y.Zhang J.J.Zhang J.L.Zhang J.Q.Zhang J.W.Zhang J.Y.Zhang J.Z.Zhang Jianyu Zhang Jiawei Zhang L.Q.Zhang Lei Zhang S.Zhang S.F.Zhang Shulei Zhang X.D.Zhang X.Y.Zhang Y.Zhang Y.H.Zhang Y.T.Zhang Yan Zhang Yao Zhang Yi Zhang Z.H.Zhang Z.Y.Zhang G.Zhao J.Zhao J.Y.Zhao J.Z.Zhao Lei Zhao Ling Zhao M.G.Zhao Q.Zhao S.J.Zhao Y.B.Zhao Y.X.Zhao Z.G.Zhao A.Zhemchugov B.Zheng J.P.Zheng Y.Zheng Y.H.Zheng B.Zhong C.Zhong L.P.Zhou Q.Zhou X.Zhou X.K.Zhou X.R.Zhou A.N.Zhu J.Zhu K.Zhu K.J.Zhu S.H.Zhu T.J.Zhu W.J.Zhu W.J.Zhu Y.C.Zhu Z.A.Zhu B.S.Zou J.H.Zou | 2021 | Chinese Physics C2021,45,2: | 33
The SLC transporter in nutrient and metabolic sensing, regulation, and drug development显示文摘The prevalence of metabolic diseases is growing worldwide. Accumulating evidence suggests that solute carrier (SLC) transporters contribute to the etiology of various metabolic diseases. Consistent with metabolic characteristics, the top five organs in which SLC transporters are highly expressed are the kidney, brain, liver, gut, and heart. We aim to understand the molecular mechanisms of important SLC transporter-mediated physiological processes and their potentials as drug targets. SLC transporters serve as Metabolic gate’ of cells and mediate the transport of a wide range of essential nutrients and metabolites such as glucose, amino acids, vitamins, neurotransmitters, and inorganic/metal ions. Gene-modified animal models have demonstrated that SLC transporters participate in many important physiological functions including nutrient supply, metabolic transformation, energy homeostasis, tissue development, oxidative stress, host defense, and neurological regulation. Furthermore, the human genomic studies have identified that SLC transporters are susceptible or causative genes in various diseases like cancer, metabolic disease, cardiovascular disease, immunological disorders, and neurological dysfunction? Importantly, a number of SLC transporters have been successfully targeted for drug developments。 This review will focus on the current understanding of SLCs in regulating physiology, nutrient sensing and uptake, and risk of diseases. | Yong Zhang Yuping Zhang Kun Sun Ziyi Meng Ligong Chen | 2019 | Journal of Molecular Cell Biology2019,11,1: | 11
Deep plug-and-play priors for spectral snapshot compressive imaging显示文摘We propose a plug-and-play(Pn P) method that uses deep-learning-based denoisers as regularization priors for spectral snapshot compressive imaging(SCI). Our method is efficient in terms of reconstruction quality and speed trade-off, and flexible enough to be ready to use for different compressive coding mechanisms. We demonstrate the efficiency and flexibility in both simulations and five different spectral SCI systems and show that the proposed deep Pn P prior could achieve state-of-the-art results with a simple plug-in based on the optimization framework. This paves the way for capturing and recovering multi-or hyperspectral information in one snapshot, which might inspire intriguing applications in remote sensing, biomedical science, and material science. | 5 | Improved phase stability of CsPbI2Br perovskite by released microstrain toward highly efficient and stable solar cells显示文摘All-inorganic perovskite solar cells(PSCs)have developed rapidly in the field of photovoltaics due to their excellent thermal and light stability. However, compared with organic–inorganic hybrid perovskites, the phase instability of inorganic perovskite under humidity still remains as a critical issue that ham-pers the commercialization of inorganic PSCs.We originally propose in this work that microstrains between the perovskite lattices/grains play a key role in affecting the phase stability of inorganic perovskite. To this end,we inno-vatively design theπ-conjugated p-type molecule bis(2-ethylhexyl)3,30((4,8-bis(5-(2-ethylhexyl)-3,4-difluorothiophen-2-yl)benzo[1,2-b:4,5-b0]dithiophene-2,6-di yl)bis(3,300-dioctyl[2,20:50,200-terthiophene]-500,5-diyl))(2E,20 E)-bis(2-cyanoacrylate)(BTEC-2F)to covalent with the Pb dangling bonds in CsPbI2Br perovskite film, which significantly suppress the trap states and release the defect-induced local stress between perovskite grains. The interplay between the microstrains and phase stability of the inorganic perovskite are scrutinized by a series of charac-terizations including x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,photoluminescence,x-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and so forth, based on which,we conclude that weaker local stresses in the perovskite film engender superior phase stability by preventing the perovskite lattice distortion under humidity.By this rational design,PSCs based on CsPbI2Br perovskite system deliver an outstanding power conversion efficiency(PCE)up to 16.25%.The unencapsulated device also exhibits an exceptional moisture stability by retaining over 80%of the initial PCE after 500 h aging in ambient with relative humidity of(RH)25%. | Kanghui Zheng Jinfeng Ge Chang Liu Qiang Lou Xia Chen Yuanyuan Meng Xu Yin Shixiao Bu Cuirong Liu Ziyi Ge | 2021 | InfoMat2021,3,12: | 1

CHDbase:A Comprehensive Knowledgebase for Congenital Heart Disease-related Genes and Clinical Manifestations显示文摘Congenital heart disease(CHD)is one of the most common causes of major birth defects, with a prevalence of 1%.Although an increasing number of studies have reported the etiology of CHD,the findings scattered throughout the literature are difficult to retrieve and utilize in research and clinical practice. We therefore developed CHDbase,an evidence-based knowledgebase of CHD-related genes and clinical manifestations manually curated from 1114 publications, linking 1124 susceptibility genes and 3591 variations to more than 300 CHD types and related syndromes.Metadata such as the information of each publication and the selected population and samples, the strategy of studies, and the major findings of studies were integrated with each item of the research record. We also integrated functional annotations through parsing50 databases/tools to facilitate the interpretation of these genes and variations in disease pathogenicity. We further prioritized the significance of these CHD-related genes with a gene interaction network approach and extracted a core CHD sub-network with 163 genes. The clear genetic landscape of CHD enables the phenotype classification based on the shared genetic origin.Overall,CHDbase provides a comprehensive and freely available resource to study CHD susceptibilities, supporting a wide range of users in the scientific and medical communities.CHDbase is accessible at http://gffzzcb26324586344ca8hb5kwpwo6wn0n65cx.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn. | Wei-Zhen Zhou Wenke Li Huayan Shen Ruby W.Wang Wen Chen Yujing Zhang Qingyi Zeng Hao Wang Meng Yuan Ziyi Zeng Jinhui Cui Chuan-Yun Li Fred Y.Ye Zhou Zhou | 2023 | Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2023,21,1: | 0
Highly efficient ternary organic solar cells with excellent open-circuit voltage and fill factor via precisely tuning molecular stacking and morphology显示文摘The micro-morphology and molecular stacking play a key role in determining the charge transport process and nonradiative energy loss, thus impacting the performances of organic solar cells(OSCs). To address this issue, a non-fullerene acceptor PhC6-IC-F with alkylbenzene side-chain, possessing optimized molecular stacking, complementary absorption spectra and forming a cascade energy level alignment in the PM6:BTP-eC9 blend, is introduced as guest acceptor to improve efficiency of ternary OSCs. The bulky phenyl in the side-chain can regulate crystallinity and optimizing phase separation between receptors in ternary blend films, resulting in the optimal phase separations in the ternary films. As a result, high efficiencies of 18.33% as photovoltaic layer are obtained for PhC6-IC-F-based ternary devices with excellent fill factor(FF) of 78.92%. Impressively, the ternary system produces a significantly improved open circuit voltage(V_(oc)) of 0.857 V compared with the binary device, contributing to the reduced density of trap states and suppressed non-radiative recombination result in lower energy loss. This work demonstrates an effective approach for adjusting the aggregation, molecular packing and fine phase separation morphology to increase V_(oc) and FF, paving the way toward high-efficiency OSCs. | Dinghong Sun Zhenyu Chen Jianfeng Zhang Wei Song Jingyu Shi Jintao Zhu Yuanyuan Meng Fei Jin Shuncheng Yang Ziyi Ge | 2024 | Science China Chemistry2024,67,3: | 0
Performance analysis and flow mechanism of channel wing considering propeller slipstream显示文摘The development of the Urban Air Mobility concept has proposed stringent requirements for the fixed-wing vehicle’s Short/Vertical Take-Off and Landing(S/VTOL)performance.With its lift-enhancing impact, the channel wing, can improve aircraft low-speed performance and Short Take-Off and Landing(STOL)capability. It is critical for the performance analysis and flow mechanism study of a channel wing that considers the influence of propeller slipstream to guide the design of S/VTOL aircraft. The law and mechanism for the effect of the enclosing angle of the arc wing, the phase angle of the propeller, the tip clearance, the rotational speed and the chordwise position of the propeller on the channel wing are explored utilizing the quasi-steady multi reference frame method.A channel wing with a larger enclosing angle has a better ability to enhance lift and reduce drag using propeller slipstream. The effect of propeller phase angle on channel wing aerodynamic forces is periodic and weak.Increasing propeller rotational speed is helpful to enhance lift and resist flow separation for channel wing.It can reduce drag for tractor configuration but increase drag for pusher configuration. However, the nose-down pitching moment of a channel wing will grow dramatically, making longitudinal trimming in aircraft layout design challenging. | Xiaoxuan MENG Ziyi XU Min CHANG Junqiang BAI | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2023,36,11: | 0
Feasibility and physics potential of detecting ^(8)B solar neutrinos at JUNO显示文摘The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory(JUNO)features a 20 kt multi-purpose underground liquid scintillator sphere as its main detector. Some of JUNO's features make it an excellent location for^8B solar neutrino measurements, such as its low-energy threshold, high energy resolution compared with water Cherenkov detectors, and much larger target mass compared with previous liquid scintillator detectors. In this paper,we present a comprehensive assessment of JUNO's potential for detecting^8B solar neutrinos via the neutrino-electron elastic scattering process.A reduced 2 MeV threshold for the recoil electron energy is found to be achievable, assuming that the intrinsic radioactive background^(238)U and^(232)Th in the liquid scintillator can be controlled to 10^(-17)g/g.With ten years of data acquisition, approximately 60,000 signal and 30,000 background events are expected. This large sample will enable an examination of the distortion of the recoil electron spectrum that is dominated by the neutrino flavor transformation in the dense solar matter, which will shed new light on the inconsistency between the measured electron spectra and the predictions of the standard three-flavor neutrino oscillation framework.IfDelta m^(2)_(21)=4.8times10^(-5);(7.5times10^(-5))eV^(2),JUNO can provide evidence of neutrino oscillation in the Earth at approximately the 3sigma(2sigma)level by measuring the non-zero signal rate variation with respect to the solar zenith angle. Moreover,JUNO can simultaneously measureDelta m^2_(21)using^8B solar neutrinos to a precision of 20% or better, depending on the central value, and to sub-percent precision using reactor antineutrinos.A comparison of these two measurements from the same detector will help understand the current mild inconsistency between the value of Delta m^2_(21)reported by solar neutrino experiments and the KamLAND experiment. | 12 | Percolation-induced resistivity drop in lutetium dihydride with controllable electrical conductivity over six orders of magnitude显示文摘The recent report of near-ambient superconductivity in the nitrogen-doped lutetium hydride has attracted considerable attention.Subsequent follow-up studies confirmed the pressure-induced color changes in both N-free and N-doped LuH_(2) but failed to reproduce superconductivity. It remains a puzzle why the samples in the original report exhibited pronounced resistance anomaly reminiscent of the superconducting transition. Here, we show that percolation of metallic grains with high conductivity through the insulating surfaces in cold-pressed LuH_(2) samples can occasionally produce sharp resistance drops, which even display magnetic field and/or current dependences but stay far from zero resistance. The insulating surface of LuH2grain should be attributed to the modification of hydrogen stoichiometry or the contamination by oxygen/nitrogen, resulting in an increase of resistance by over six orders of magnitude. Such an effect is more significant than that discovered recently in LaH_(3±x), which may indicate that LuH_(2) can be a potential superionic conductor. Our results call for caution in asserting the resistivity drops as superconductivity and invalidate the background subtraction in analyzing the corresponding resistance data. | Ningning Wang Jun Hou Ziyi Liu Tenglong Lu Pengfei Shan Congcong Chai Shifeng Jin Liang Ma Lifen Shi Xiao Wang Youwen Long Yue Liu Hua Zhang Xiaoli Dong Sheng Meng Miao Liu Jinguang Cheng | 2023 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2023,66,9: | 0
Design of a Web Crawler for Water Quality Monitoring Data and Data Visualization显示文摘Many countries are paying more and more attention to the protection of water resources at present, and how to protect water resources has received extensive attention from society.Water quality monitoring is the key work to water resources protection. How to efficiently collect and analyze water quality monitoring data is an important aspect of water resources protection. In this paper, python programming tools and regular expressions were used to design a web crawler for the acquisition of water quality monitoring data from Global Freshwater Quality Database(GEMStat)sites, and the multi-thread parallelism was added to improve the efficiency in the process of downloading and parsing. In order to analyze and process the crawled water quality data,Pandas and Pyecharts are used to visualize the water quality data to show the intrinsic correlation and spatiotemporal relationship of the data. | Ziwen Yu Jianjun Zhang Wenwu Tan Ziyi Xiong Peilun Li Liangqing Meng Haijun Lin Guang Sun Peng Guo | 2022 | Journal on Big Data2022,4,2: | 0
TaBZR1 enhances wheat salt tolerance via promoting ABA biosynthesis and ROS scavenging显示文摘Brassinosteroids(BRs)are vital plant steroid hormones involved in numerous aspects of plant life including growth, development, and responses to various stresses. However, the underlying mechanisms of how BR regulates abiotic stress responses in wheat(Triticum aestivum L.)remain to be elucidated. Here,we find that BR signal core transcription factor BRASSINAZOLE-RESISTANT1(TaBZR1)is significantly up-regulated by salt treatment.Overexpression of Tabzr1-1D(a gain-of-function TaBZR1 mutant protein)improves wheat salt tolerance.Furthermore,we show that TaBZR1 binds directly to the G-box motif in the promoter of ABA biosynthesis gene TaNCED3 to activate its expression and promotes ABA accumulation.Moreover,TaBZR1 associates with the promoters of ROS-scavenging genes TaGPX2 and TaGPX3 to activate their expression.Taken together, our results elucidate that TaBZR1 improves salt-stress tolerance by activating some genes involved in the biosynthesis of ABA and ROS scavenging in wheat, which gives us a new strategy to improve the salt tolerance of wheat. | Ruizhen Yang Ziyi Yang Meng Xing Yexing Jing Yunwei Zhang Kewei Zhang Yun Zhou Huixian Zhao Weihua Qiao Jiaqiang Sun | 2023 | Journal of Genetics and Genomics2023,50,11: | 0
N/S codoping modification based on the metal organic frameworkderived carbon to improve the electrochemical performance of different energy storage devices显示文摘Carbon-based materials have become a research hotspot in the field of energy storage devices in recent years due to their abundant resources, low cost, and environmental friendliness. However, the low capacity and poor high rate performance still constitute great challenges.Metal organic framework-derived carbon has been widely researched because of its high porosity, tunable structure, and good conductivity. In this work,N/S codoped hierarchical porous carbon microspheres were prepared by a high-temperature heat treatment and atomic doping process using a zinc-based organic framework as the precursor. When used as a potassium-ion battery anode,it has a high reversible specific capacity(435.7 mAh g^(-1)),good rate performance(133.5 mAh g^(-1)at 10,000 m A g^(-1)),and long-term cycling stability(73.2%capacity retention after the 2500th cycle). The potassium storage mechanism of the derived carbon was explained by various electrochemical analysis methods and microstructure characterization techniques, and the relationship between the structural characteristics and electrochemical properties was researched. In a supercapacitor, the porous carbon material exhibits a specific capacitance of 307.2 F g^(-1)at a current density of 0.2 A g^(-1)in a KOH aqueous solution and achieves a retention rate of 99.88%after 10,000 cycles. The assembled symmetric supercapacitor device delivers a high energy density of 6.69 Wh kg^(-1),with a corresponding power density of 2500 W kg^(-1).In addition, density functional theory calculations further confirmed that N/S codoping can improve the adsorption capacities of potassium and hydroxyl ions in the derived carbon. | Ziyi Zhu Xue Li Zhong Zhang Qi Meng Wenjia Zhang Peng Dong Yingjie Zhang | 2022 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,11: | 0
Numerical simulation to study the impact of compliance mismatch between artificial and host blood vessel on hemodynamics显示文摘Small-diameter artificial blood vessels are prone to cause intimal hyperplasia(IH)after transplantation, which leads to restenosis and low long-term patency rates. The main biomechanical factor for IH formation is the compliance mismatch between the artificial and host blood vessels which can cause abnormal hemodynamics.Although there have been many studies on vascular compliance mismatches, however, little attention has been paid to the effect of the degree of compliance mismatch between graft and the host vessel on hemodynamics. At present, the research on compliance mismatch between the artificial and host blood vessels is still very limited, especially with regard to the specific impact of the compliance mismatch degree on hemodynamics. Therefore, three end-to-end anastomosis models(the compliance of the artificial blood vessel is lower than, similar to,and higher than that of the host blood vessel, called model 1,model 2,model 3,respectively)were constructed and simulated in this study.Simulation results showed that the radial displacement difference between the artificial and host blood vessels were 0.281 mm,0.183 mm and 0.485 mm in model 1,model 2 and model 3,respectively.A low-velocity recirculation zone near the distal anastomosis was formed in model 1 which resulted in excessively low TAWSS(9.261 E-5Pa)and high OSI(0.497).Similarly,a low-velocity recirculation zone near the proximal anastomosis was formed in model 3 and lead to low TAWSS(6.007 E-4Pa)and high OSI(0.480).However,there was no low-velocity recirculation zone near the anastomosis stoma in model 2.The results are instructive for the design and preparation of artificial blood vessels. | Ting Cao Ziyi Jiang Huijing Zhao Ke-Qin Zhang Kai Meng | 2022 | Medicine in Novel Technology and Devices2022,,3: | 0
Therapeutic Characterization of ^(131)I-Labeled Humanized Anti-B7-H3 Antibodies for Radioimmunotherapy for Glioblastoma显示文摘B7 homolog 3(B7-H3)has attracted much attention in glioblastoma(GBM)radioimmunotherapy(RIT)due to its abnormally high expression on tumor cells. In this study,we report that two specific humanized anti-human B7-H3 antibodies(hu4G4 and hu4H12)derived from mouse anti-human B7-H3 antibodies that were generated by computer-aided design and exclusively recognize membrane expression of B7-H3 by human glioma cells,Hu4G4 and hu4H12 were radiolabeled with^(89)Zr for RIT antibody screening.Micro-positron emission tomography(PET)imaging, biodistribution and pharmacokinetic(PK)analyses of^(89)Zr-labeled antibodies were performed in U87-xenografted models.^(125)I labelling of the antibodies for single-photon emission computed tomography(SPECT)imaging was also used to investigate the biological behavior of the antibodies in vivo.Fu rthermore, the pharmacodynamic(PD)of the^(131)Ilabeled antibodies were evaluated in U87-xenografted mice and GL261 Red-FLuc-B7-H3 in situ glioma tumor models.Micro-PET imaging and biodistribution analysis with a gamma counter showed that^(89)Zr-deferoxamine(DFO)-hu4G4 had higher tumor targeting performance with lower liver uptake than^(89)Zr-DFO-(hu4H12,immunoglobulin G(IgG)).The biodistribution results of^(125)I-SPECT imaging were similar to those of^(89)Zr-PET imaging, though the biodistribution in long bone joints and the thyroid varied. The PD analysis results indicated that^(131)I-hu4G4 had an excellent therapeutic effect and high safety with no apparent toxicity.Interestingly,^(131)I-hu4G4 improved the tumor vasculature in tissues with higher expression of collagen typeⅣand platelet-derived growth factor receptorβ(PDGFR-β)compared with control treatment,as determined by immunofluorescence(IF),which contributed to inhibiting tumor growth.Taken together, our data indicate that hu4G4 exhibits good tumor targeting and specificity, achieves low nonspecific concentrations in normal tissues, and has acceptable PK characteristics.^(131)I-hu4G4 also exerts effective antitumor effects with an ideal safety profile. Therefore,we expect hu4G4 to be an excellent antibody for the development of GBM RIT. | Fengqing Fu Meng Zheng Shandong Zhao Yan Wang Minzhou Huang Hanqing Chen Ziyi Huang Kaijie Zhang Liyan Miao Xueguang Zhang | 2023 | Engineering2023,,11: | 0
Simulation and preparation of novel medium convex artificial blood vessel for reducing compliance mismatch显示文摘Compliance mismatch between artificial blood vessel and host vessel can cause abnormal hemodynamics and is the main mechanical trigger of intimal hyperplasia(IH)after transplantation. To explore the specific effects of the degree of compliance mismatch on hemodynamics, the concept of“compliance mismatch degree”was defined in this paper.Numerical results showed that when the compliance mismatch degree was less than-22.21%or more than 3.16%,the minimum WSS in the anastomotic site was less than the safety threshold of 0.5 Pa,which is easy to induce IH.In addition, the compliance mismatch caused different radial displacements first, which in turn affected the hemodynamics.Inspired by this,a novel medium convex artificial blood vessel was proposed, and the simulation results theoretically validated its desired effect on reducing the compliance mismatch. An increase of 0.22 mm in the diameter of the artificial blood vessel corresponded to a decrease of 0.88%in compliance mismatch degree. The feasibility of preparing real medium convex artificial blood vessel was also investigated. The PLCL medium convex artificial blood vessel with good mechanical properties was prepared by dip-coating and electrospinning composite method. These findings are valuable for the design and preparation of novel artificial blood vessel which can make up for the mismatch of compliance. | Ziyi Jiang Huijing Zhao Ke-Qin Zhang Kai Meng | 2023 | Medicine in Novel Technology and Devices2023,,2: | 0
