| 1 | Active corrosion protection of super-hydrophobic corrosion inhibitor intercalated Mg-Al layered double hydroxide coating on AZ31 magnesium alloy显示文摘Magnesium alloys,the advanced lightweight structural materials,have been successfully applied in the manufacturing field.Unfortunately,their poor corrosion resistance restrains the potential wide applications.In this work,anti-corrosion coatings were fabricated via the insitu growth of the corrosion inhibitors intercalated magnesium-aluminum layered double hydroxide(Mg-Al LDH)on AZ31 magnesium alloy and then post-sealing it by a super-hydrophobic coating.SEM,XRD,EDS,FTIR,XPS and contact angle test were conducted to analyze physical/chemical features of these coatings.Potentiodynamic polarization curves and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy were recorded to assess the anti-corrosion performance of prepared coatings.Surprisingly,Mg-Al LDH with molybdate intercalation and lauric acid modification achieves the excellent corrosion inhibition performance(99.99%)due to the multicomponent synergistic effect such as the physical protection of Mg-Al LDH,the corrosion inhibition of molybdate and super-hydrophobic properties of lauric acid.This work presents a scientific perspective and novel design philosophy to fabricate the efficient anti-corrosion coating to protect magnesium alloys and then expand their potential applications in other field. | Xin Wang Chuan Jing Yuxiang Chen Xiushuang Wang Gang Zhao Xing Zhang Liang Wu Xiaoying Liu Biqin Dong Yuxin Zhang | 2020 | Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2020,8,1: | 20 |
| 2 | Occurrence of perfluoroalkyl substances in matched human serum,urine,hair and nail显示文摘The purpose of this study was to determine perfluoroalkyl substances(PFASs) in human serum, urine, hair and nail from general populations, and to investigate the possibility for human urine, hair and nail used as the biomonitoring sample for PFASs exposure. We detected the concentrations of PFHx A, PFOA, PFNA, PFDA, PFUn DA, PFDo A, PFHx S and PFOS in 39 matched human serum, urine, hair and nail samples from Shenzhen in China. The detection frequency and the median level of PFOS were all higher than that of the other PFASs in four matrices. The median concentration of PFOS in serum, urine, hair, and nail were 9.24 ng/mL, 13.96 ng/L, 0.58 ng/g and 0.63 ng/g, respectively. | 5 | The enrichment characteristics of mercury in the sediments of Dongjiu and Xijiu, Taihu Lake catchment, in the past century显示文摘The concentration and the enrichment factors of mercury (Hg) in the sediment cores of Dongjiu and Xijiu, Taihu Lake catchment, were studied. The accumulation fluxes, anthropogenic input concentration and anthropogenic accumulation fluxes of Hg in recent 100 years were also analyzed based on the 210Pb dating. The results indicate that the increasing concentrations of Hg in the sediments are influ-enced by natural factors and anthropogenic input simultaneously. Generally, about 2/3 of the Hg in the sediment was from anthropogenic sources. In the early 20th century, the anthropogenic input was owing to the urban development and fossil fuel consumptions surrounding the Taihu Lake and the worldwide atmospheric deposition of Hg since the industrial revolution. The concentration and an-thropogenic fluxes of Hg increased with the industrial development in the catchment since the 1930s. | 6 | Association of serum levels of perfluoroalkyl substances with gestational diabetes mellitus and postpartum blood glucose显示文摘This study was conducted to examine the association of perfluoroalkyl substance(PFAS)exposure with gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM) risk and postpartum fasting blood glucose.We used a 1:2 matched case–control study with 84 GDM subjects and 168 healthy pregnant women from Beijing, China. The maternal blood was collected at 1–2 days before delivery, and eight linear isomers and fourteen branched isomers were determined in maternal serum.Logistic regression analyses were performed to evaluate the associations after adjusting for potential confounders. The median of the sum of levels of total PFASs was 4.24 ng/m L with a interquartile range(IQR) of 2.82–6.54 ng/m L. Although maternal PFAS exposure was not associated with risk of GDM, significant positive associations were observed between evaluated exposure to specific PFAS congeners and increasing blood glucose. | 8 | Elevated Neurosteroids in the Lateral Thalamus Relieve Neuropathic Pain in Rats with Spared Nerve Injury显示文摘Neurosteroids are synthesized in the nervous system from cholesterol or steroidal precursors imported from peripheral sources. These compounds are important allosteric modulators of c-aminobutyric acid A receptors(GABA_ARs), which play a vital role in pain modulation in the lateral thalamus, a main gate where somatosensory information enters the cerebral cortex. Using high-performance liquid chromatography/tandem mass spectrometry,we found increased levels of neurosteroids(pregnenolone,progesterone, deoxycorticosterone, allopregnanolone, and tetrahydrodeoxycorticosterone) in the chronic stage of neuropathic pain(28 days after spared nerve injury) in rats.The expression of the translocator protein TSPO, the upstream steroidogenesis rate-limiting enzyme, increased at the same time. In vivo stereotaxic microinjection of neurosteroids or the TSPO activator AC-5216 into the lateral thalamus(AP-3.0 mm, ML ±3.0 mm, DV 6.0 mm)alleviated the mechanical allodynia in neuropathic pain,while the TSPO inhibitor PK 11195 exacerbated it. The analgesic effects of AC-5216 and neurosteroids were significantly attenuated by the GABA_AR antagonist bicuculline. | 9 | Selectivity regulation of CO2 electroreduction through contact interface engineering on superwetting Cu nanoarray electrodes显示文摘Electrocatalytic CO2 reduction is a promising way to mitigate the urgent energy and environmental issues, but how to increase the selectivity for desired product among multiple competi ng reaction pathways remains a bottle neck. Here, we demonstrate that engineering the gas-liquid-solid contact interface on the electrode surface could tailor the selectivity of CO2 reducti on and meanwhile suppress H2 production through regulated reacti on kin etics. Specifically, polytetrafl uoroethyle ne (PTFE) was utilized to modify a Cu nano array electrode as an example, which is able to cha nge the electrode surface from aerophobic to aerophilic state. The en riched nano-tunnels of the Cu nano array electrode can facilitate CO2 transportation and pin gaseous products on the electrode surface. The latter is believed to be the reason that boosts the Faradaic efficie ncy of liquid products by 67% and limits the H2 producti on to less than half of before. This in terface engin eeri ng strategy also lowered H2O (proton) affinity, therefore promoting CO and HCOOH production. | 18 | Individual thermal comfort prediction using classification tree model based on physiological parameters and thermal history in winter显示文摘Individual thermal comfort models based on physiological parameters could improve the efficiency of the personal thermal comfort control system.However,the effect of thermal history has not been fully addressed in these models.In this study,climate chamber experiments were conducted in winter using 32 subjects who have different indoor and outdoor thermal histories.Two kinds of thermal conditions were investigated:the temperature dropping(24-16℃)and severe cold(12℃)conditions.A simplified method using historical air temperature to quantify the thermal history was proposed and used to predict thermal comfort and thermal demand from physical or physiological parameters.Results show the accuracies of individual thermal sensation prediction was low to about 30%by using the PMV index in cold environments of this study.Base on the sensitivity and reliability of physiological responses,five local skin temperatures(at hand,calf,head,arm and thigh)and the heart rate are optimal input parameters for the individual thermal comfort model.With the proposed historical air temperature as an additional input,the general accuracies using classification tree model C5.0 were increased up by 15.5%for thermal comfort prediction and up by 29.8%for thermal demand prediction.Thus,when predicting thermal demands in winter,the factor of thermal history should be considered. | Yuxin Wu Hong Liu Baizhan Li Risto Kosonen Shen Wei Juha Jokisalo Yong Cheng | 2021 | Building Simulation2021,14,6: | 3 |
| 19 | Efficient fixation of CO_(2) into propylene carbonate with [BMIM]Br in a continuous-flow microreaction system显示文摘Utilization of carbon dioxide(CO_(2)) is of great significance in the development of CO_(2) absorption and the solution of greenhouse gas effect.Highly efficient conversion of CO_(2) into cyclic carbonate with green catalysts is essential for the more sustainable expansion of CO_(2) fixation.Traditional batch reactor is limited by low efficiency, high cost and low security. Meanwhile, continuous flow system showcased a myriad of virtues, including shortening the residence time from hours to seconds, and decreasing reaction temperature, and possessing the nature of easy industrial scale-up. In this paper, a continuous-flow microreaction system was developed to synthesis propylene carbonate(PC) from propylene oxide(PO) and CO_(2) using 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium bromide([BMIM]Br) as catalyst. By observing the flow patterns inside microreaction system, the effects of reaction temperature, molar fraction of catalyst, operating pressure, residence time, molar ratio of CO_(2)/PO as well as recycling performance of catalyst on the overall performances were comprehensively evaluated into details. Under different reaction conditions,the flow patterns were set to vary between slug flow and annular flow.
