| 1 | Enhancement and selective production of avermectin B by recombinants of Streptomyces avermitilis via intraspecific protoplast fusion显示文摘Among eight components of avermectin, B1 fractions have the most effective antiparasitic activities and the lowest level of toxic side-effects and are used widely in veterinary and agricultural fields. In-traspecific protoplast fusion between two strains of Streptomyces avermitilis, one an avermectin high producer (strain 76-05) and the other a genetically engineered strain containing the mutations aveDˉ and olmAˉ (strain 73-12) was performed for enhancement and selective production of avermectin B in the absence of oligomycin. Two recombinant strains (F23 and F29) were isolated and characterized with regards to the parental merits. F23 and F29 produced only the four avermectin B components with high yield and produced no oligomycin. The avermectin production of F23 and F29 was about 84.20% and 103.45% of the parental strain 76-05, respectively, and increased about 2.66-fold and 3.50-fold, re-spectively, compared to that of parental strain 73-12. F23 and F29 were genetically stable prototrophic recombinants and F29 was quite tolerant of fermentation conditions compared to avermectin high producer parental strain 76-05. The ability to produce avermectin B with high yield without the produc-tion of other avermectin components and oligomycin will make F23 and F29 useful strains for aver-mectin production. | 2 | Multi-functional polyethersulfone nanofibrous membranes with ultra-high adsorption capacity and ultra-fast removal rates for dyes and bacteria显示文摘The adsorption technology has been widely applied in water remediation for contamination removal of dyes and bacteria,by virtue of the advantages of adsorption technology including high efficiency,energy conservation and ease of operation.Simultaneous removal of dyes and bacteria has been realized by some reported materials,but to achieve satisfactory adsorption amounts and rates remain an unmet goal for decades.Herein,a poly(methacrylatoethyl trimethyl ammonium chloride-co-methyl methacrylate)copolymer was synthesized,and then blended with polyethersulfone for the fabrication of nanofibrous membranes via electrospinning for the use of fast and massive removal of dyes and bacteria.Owing to the introduction of abundant quaternary ammonium groups,the maximum adsorption amount for methyl orange was up to 909.8 mg g^(-1).In addition,the modified nanofibrous membranes showed good recyclability,broad applications in severe environments,selective adsorption ability,and excellent dynamic removal performance.Especially,thanks to the abundant functional groups,the membranes showed fast adsorption ability for bacteria through electrostatic interaction.It should be noted that the clearance ratio for Staphylococcus aureus or Escherichia coli by 6 min of static adsorption could reach 93%or 90%for each.Additionally,dynamic removal ratio via filtration with the nanofibrous membranes could reach 99.7%for Staphylococcus aureus or 98.7%for Escherichia coli in 90 s.Therefore,the proposed approach towards the quaternary ammonium modified polyethersulfone nanofibrous membranes creates a new route for ultra-high adsorption capacity and ultra-fast removal rates for dyes and bacteria in water remediation. | Jianxu Bao Hang Li Yuanting Xu Shengqiu Chen Zhoujun Wang Chunji Jiang Huilin Li Zhiwei Wei Shudong Sun Weifeng Zhao Changsheng Zhao | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,19: | 4 |

| 6 | Wave-dominated,mesotidal headland-bay beach morphodynamic classsfications of the Shuidong Bay in South China显示文摘Beach morphodynamic classifications have achieved extensive acceptance in foreign coastal geomorphological studies.Three beaches located in different zones of a headland-bay coast are classified according to a dimensionless fall parameter,a relative tide range parameter and a dimensionless embayment scaling parameter.Synchronous data,including wave,tide,sediment and beach morphology,are respectively collected from the tangential beach,the transitional beach and the shadow beach of the Shuidong Bay during each spring tide for 16 successive months.The research results indicate that(1) the beach in the tangential zone falls between two major categories which are low tide terrace beaches with rips and barred beaches;the beach in the transitional zone exhibits two main types which are low tide bar/rip beaches and barred dissipative beaches;and the beach in the shadow zone mainly mirrors dissipative states with presence or absence of bars;and(2) the sequential changes and differences of beach states in different coastal zones reflect spatial and temporal variabilities of the headlandbay coast,totally meeting the actual measured beach morphology changes,showing that studies on wavedominated,meso-macrotidal beaches need to consider the influences of the tides.Meanwhile,the research mainly provides a framework about beach state studies,due to different beach states with different erosion patterns,which requires the need to strengthen the researches in this respect,in order to further enrich theoretical basis for a beach topography evolution,beach morphodynamic processes and beach erosion prevention in China. | YU Jitao DING Yuanting CHENG Huangxin CAI Lailiang CHEN Zishen | 2016 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2016,35,7: | 1 |

| 8 | Time-varying clustering for local lighting and material design显示文摘This paper presents an interactive graphics processing unit (GPU)-based relighting system in which local lighting condition, surface materials and viewing direction can all be changed on the ffy. To sup- port these changes, we simulate the lighting transportation process at run time, which is normally impractical for interactive use due to its huge computational burden. We greatly alleviate this burden by a hierarchical structure named a transportation tree that clusters similar emitting samples together within a perceptually acceptable error bound. Furthermore, by exploiting the coherence in time as well as in space, we incrementally adjust the clusters rather than computing them from scratch in each frame. With a pre-computed visibility map, we are able to efficiently estimate the indirect illumination in parallel on graphics hardware, by simply summing up the radiance shoots from cluster representa- tives, plus a small number of operations of merging and splitting on clusters. | 14 | Clinical features and outcome of 15 patients with recurrent endometrial cancer or atypical endometrial hyperplasia received primary fertility-sparing therapy followed by hysterectomy显示文摘Objective To investigate the clinical features and outcome of recurrent endometrial cancer(EC)or atypical endometrial hyperplasia(AEH)patients who underwent hysterectomy after fertility-sparing therapy.Methods Clinical data was retrospectively collected for 15 recurrent endometrial cancer or atypical endometrial hyperplasia patients who underwent hysterectomy in six hospitals from 2003 to 2019.According to the indicators of hysterectomy,patients were divided into four groups:7 patients who underwent direct hyesterectomy after the first relapse,4 due to re-treatment failure,1 after full term live birth,and 3 because of multiple recurrence.Clinical coexisting conditions,regimen and outcome of fertility-sparing therapy,pre-and post-operative pathological results,and prognosis were analyzed.Results(1)Fertility-spraring treatment was given to a total of 15 eligible patients,including 6 with EC and 9 with AEH.Median time interval from remission to recurrence was 12 months(range 3–92).Oral progestin-based medicine was the main fertility-sparing therapy in both primary treatment and re-treatment after recurrence.Six(6/8)patients received progestin combined with gonadotrophin releasing hormone agonist or metformin in three re-treatment groups.(2)Nine patients underwent hysterectomy and 6 staging surgery.Three patients had pathological upgrade after surgery.Five(5/10)EC patients had superficial myometrial invasion in postoperative pathology.All patients showed no evidence of disease in the median follow-up of 17 months(range 3–118).(3)Among seven patients who failed to re-treatment and had multiple recurrence,six were overweight/obesity and six had insulin resistance.Two of these patients had synchronous ovarian cancer in the postoperative pathology.Conclusion For the patients with recurrent EC or AEH after primary fertility-sparing therapy,overweight/obesity and insulin resistance might be the risk factors for re-treatment failure.Hysterectomy is recommended when patients had re-treatment failure or multiple recurrence;and generally the prognosis is favorable. | Yuanting Li Yiqin Wang Yijiao He Rong Zhou Huiru Tang Lijiang Xu Mian He Weili Li Chunlin Chen Weifeng Zhang Jianliu Wang | 2021 | Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinical Medicine2021,1,1: | 0 |

| 18 | Induction of multiple subroutines of regulated necrosis in murine macrophages by natural BH3-mimetic gossypol显示文摘Macrophages are critical sentinel cells armed with multiple regulated necrosis pathways,including pyroptosis,apoptosis followed by secondary necrosis,and necroptosis,and are poised to undergo distinct form(s)of necrosis for tackling dangers of pathogenic infection or toxic exposure.The natural BH3-mimetic gossypol is a toxic phytochemical that can induce apoptosis and/or pyroptotic-like cell death,but what exact forms of regulated necrosis are induced remains largely unknown.Here we demonstrated that gossypol induces pyroptotic-like cell death in both unprimed and lipopolysaccharide-primed mouse bone marrow-derived macrophages(BMDMs),as evidenced by membrane swelling and ballooning accompanied by propidium iodide incorporation and lactic acid dehydrogenase release.Notably,gossypol simultaneously induces the activation of both pyroptotic and apoptotic(followed by secondary necrosis)pathways but only weakly activates the necroptosis pathway.Unexpectedly,gossypol-induced necrosis is independent of nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain-like receptor family pyrin domain containing 3(NLRP3)inflammasome,as neither inhibitor for the NLRP3 pathway nor NLRP3 deficiency protects the macrophages from the necrosis.Furthermore,necrotic inhibitors or even pan-caspase inhibitor alone does not or only partly inhibit such necrosis.Instead,a combination of inhibitors composed of pan-caspase inhibitor IDN-6556,RIPK3 inhibitor GSK′872 and NADPH oxidase inhibitor GKT137831 not only markedly inhibits the necrosis,with all apoptotic and pyroptotic pathways being blocked,but also attenuates gossypol-induced peritonitis in mice.Lastly,the activation of the NLRP3 pathway and apoptotic caspase-3 appears to be independent of each other.Collectively,gossypol simultaneously induces the activation of multiple subroutines of regulated necrosis in macrophages depending on both apoptotic and inflammatory caspases. | Meiyan Zhong Yuanting Huang Bo Zeng Lihui Xu Chunsu Zhong Jiahao Qiu Xunjia Ye Mingye Chen Bo Hu Dongyun Ouyang Xianhui He | 2022 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2022,54,1: | 0 |
