| 1 | Prevalence of Autism Spectrum Disorder in China:A Nationwide Multi-center Population-based Study Among Children Aged 6 to 12 Years显示文摘This study aimed to obtain the first national estimate of the prevalence of autism spectrum disorder(ASD) in Chinese children.We targeted the population of 6 to 12-year-old children for this prevalence study by multistage convenient cluster sampling.The Modified Chinese Autism Spectrum Rating Scale was used for the screening process.Of the target population of 142,086 children,88.5%(n=125,806) participated in the study.A total of 363 children were confirmed as having ASD.The observed ASD prevalence rate was 0.29%(95% CI:0.26%-0.32%) for the overall population.After adjustment for response rates,the estimated number of ASD cases was867 in the target population sample,thereby achieving an estimated prevalence of 0.70%(95% CI:0.64%-0.74%).The prevalence was significantly higher in boys than in girls(0.95%;95% CI:0.87%-1.02% versus 0.30%;95%CI:0.26%-0.34%;P <0.001).Of the 363 confirmed ASD cases,43.3% were newly diagnosed,and most of those(90.4%) were attending regular schools,and 68.8% of the children with ASD had at least one neuropsychiatric comorbidity.Our findings provide reliable data on the estimated ASD prevalence and comorbidities in Chinese children. | Hao Zhou Xiu Xu Weili Yan Xiaobing Zou Lijie Wu Xuerong Luo Tingyu Li Yi Huang Hongyan Guan Xiang Chen Meng Mao Kun Xia Lan Zhang Erzhen Li Xiaoling Ge Lili Zhang Chunpei Li Xudong Zhang Yuanfeng Zhou Ding Ding Andy Shih Eric Fombonne Yi Zheng Jisheng Han Zhongsheng Sun Yong-hui Jiang Yi Wang LATENT-NHC Study Team | 2020 | Neuroscience Bulletin2020,36,9: | 158 |
| 2 | 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents显示文摘Syncope belongs to the transient loss of consciousness(TLOC), characterized by a rapid onset, short duration, and spontaneous complete recovery. It is common in children and adolescents, accounting for 1% to 2% of emergency department visits.Recurrent syncope can seriously affect children's physical and mental health, learning ability and quality of life and sometimes cardiac syncope even poses a risk of sudden death. The present guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was developed for guiding a better clinical management of pediatric syncope. Based on the globally recent development and the evidence-based data in China, 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was jointly prepared by the Pediatric Cardiology Society, Chinese Pediatric Society, Chinese Medical Association(CMA)/Committee on Pediatric Syncope, Pediatricians Branch, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Committee on Pediatric Cardiology, Chinese College of Cardiovascular Physicians, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Pediatric Cardiology Society, Beijing Pediatric Society, Beijing Medical Association(BMA). | 4 | A life support-based comprehensive treatment regimen dramatically lowers the in-hospital mortality of patients with fulminant myocarditis: a multiple center study显示文摘Fulminant myocarditis(FM) has unacceptable high mortality. This study aimed to evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of a life support-based comprehensive treatment regimen(LSBCTR), a completely novel treatment regimen, for FM. A total of 169 FM patients recruited from January 2008 to December 2018 were divided into two groups: patients receiving LSBCTR(81 cases),which includes(i) mechanical life support(positive pressure respiration, intra-aortic balloon pump with or without extracorporeal membrane oxygenation),(ii) immunomodulation therapy using sufficient doses of glucocorticoids and immunoglobulins, and(iii) application of neuraminidase inhibitors, and those receiving conventional treatment(88 cases). The endpoints were in-hospital death and heart-transplantation. Of all the population, 44 patients(26.0%) died in hospitals. Inhospital mortality was 3.7%(3/81) for LSBCTR group and 46.6%(41/88) for traditional treatment(P<0.001). Early application of LSBCTR, mechanical life support, neuraminidase inhibitors, and immunomodulation therapy significantly contributed to reduction in in-hospital mortality. This study describes a novel treatment regimen for FM patients that dramatically reduces inhospital mortality. Tissueengineering provides a newhope for functional cartilage repair.Creation of an appropriate cell carrier is one ofthe critical steps for successful tissue engineering.With the supposition thata biomimetic constructmightpromiseto generate better effects, we developed a novel composite scaffold and investigated its potential for cartilagetissue engineering.Methods Chitosan of88% deacetylation was prepared via a modified base reaction procedure.Afreeze-dryingprocess was employed to fabricate a three-dimensional composite scaffold consisting of chitosan and typeⅡcollagen. | 9 | Laparoscopic distal pancreatectomy is as safe and feasible as open procedure:A meta-analysis显示文摘AIM:To evaluate the feasibility and safety of laparoscopic distal pancreatectomy(LDP) compared with open distal pancreatectomy(ODP).METHODS:Meta-analysis was performed using the databases,including PubMed,the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials,Web of Science and BIOSIS Previews.Articles should contain quantitative data of the comparison of LDP and ODP.Each article was reviewed by two authors.Indices of operative time,spleen-preserving rate,time to fluid intake,ratio of malignant tumors,postoperative hospital stay,incidence rate of pancreatic fistula and overall morbidity rate were analyzed.RESULTS:Nine articles with 1341 patients who underwent pancreatectomy met the inclusion criteria.LDP was performed in 501(37.4%) patients,while ODP was performed in 840(62.6%) patients.There were significant differences in the operative time,time to fluid intake,postoperative hospital stay and spleen-preserving rate between LDP and ODP.There was no difference between the two groups in pancreatic fistula rate [random effects model,risk ratio(RR) 0.996(0.663,1.494),P = 0.983,I2 = 28.4%] and overall morbidity rate [random effects model,RR 0.81(0.596,1.101),P = 0.178,I2 = 55.6%].CONCLUSION:LDP has the advantages of shorter hospital stay and operative time,more rapid recovery and higher spleen-preserving rate as compared with ODP. | Kun Xie Yi-Ping Zhu Xiao-Wu Xu Ke Chen Jia-Fei Yan Yi-Ping Mou | 2012 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2012,18,16: | 22 |
| 10 | A step metallogenetic model for gold deposits in the northwestern Shandong Peninsula, China显示文摘Based on our study of the nature and variation of mineralization-controlling faults in their deep extension and the spatial distribution of gold orebodies in the northwestern Shandong Peninsula (NSP), here we propose that the gold deposits in the Jiaojia gold belt are controlled by listric faults and the gold deposits in the NSP are controlled by extensional fault system. We also suggest that there is a multiple mineralization space in the deep part of the NSP gold belt. As steps or benches occur along the deep extention of the listric fault where its dipping angle changes from steep to gentle, a number of gold deposits are correspondingly distributed as a steplike pattern, which is named as a step metallogenetic model for gold deposits in the NSP. The gold deposits in Shandong Peninsula were formed in the Cretaceous when the crust in the region experienced extention and thinning following the strong collision between North China Plate and Yangtze Plate during the Triassic. | 11 | Surveillance-based evidence:elimination of schistosomiasis as a public health problem in the Peoples’Republic of China显示文摘Background:A steady progress on schistosomiasis control in the Peoples’Republic of China(P.R.China)was achieved and broadened into the twelve-year medium and long term national plan(MLNP)which marled the implementation of an integrated control strategy across all endemic areas in P.R.China in 2004.To understand the endemic trends of schistosomiasis to assess the effectiveness of an integrated strategy,we conducted an analysis of schistosomiasis surveillance data spanned from 2005 to 2015.Methods:The schistosomiasis sentinel surveillance data from sentinel sites were collected and analyzed from 2005 to 2015.In these sentinel sites,residents aged 6 years or above were screened annually by indirect hemagglutination assay(IHA),while only antibody positives were followed by stool examination either Kato-katz method(KK)and/or hatching technique(HT).Domestic animals raised in sentinel sites were examined by HT for confirming the infection of schistosomes.Snail investigation was conducted each year through systematic sampling method combined with environmental sampling method.The snails collected from field were tested by microscopic dissection method.The infection rates of schistosomes in residents,domestic animals and snails,as well as the indicators reflecting the snails’distribution were calculated and analyzed.ANOVA analysis was used to examine the changes of the number of eggs per gram feces in population and Chi-square test was used to examine any change in proportions among groups.Results:A total of 148902 residents from sentinel sites attended this study and 631676 blood samples were examined by IHA test during the 11 covered years.The annual average antibody positive rates presented a significant decrease trends,from 17.48%(95%CI:17.20–17.75%)in 2005 to 5.93%(95%CI:5.71–6.15%)(χ2=8890.47,P<0.001)in 2015.During 2005–2015,the average infection rate of schistosomes in residents declined from 2.07%(95%CI:1.96–2.17%)to 0.13%(95%CI:0.09–0.16%),accompanied by significant decrease of infection intensity in population.In 2015,the stool positives were only found in farmers,fishermen and boatmen with infection rate of 0.16%(95%CI:0.11–0.20%),0.17%(95%CI:0–0.50%)respectively.The infection rate of schistosomes in domestic animals dropped from 9.42%(538/5711,95%CI:8.66–10.18%)to 0.08%(2/2360,95%CI:0–0.20%)from 2005 to 2015.Infections were found in eight species of domestic animals at the beginning of surveillance while only two cattle were infected in 2015.Totally 98 ha of new snail habitats were found,while 94.90%(93/98)distributed in lake and marshland regions.The percentage of frames with snails decreased from 16.96%(56884/335391,95%CI:16.83–17.09%)in 2005 to 4.28%(18121/423755,95%CI:4.22–4.34%)in 2014,with a slightly increase in 2015.Meanwhile,the infection rate of schistosomes in snails was decreased from 0.26%(663/256531,95%CI:0.24–0.28%)to zero during 2005–2015.Conclusions:The infection rate of schistosomes declined significantly,providing evidence that the goal of the MLNP was achieved.Elimination of schistosomiasis as a public health problem defined as WHO was also reached in P.R.China nationwide.Surveillance-response system should be improved and strengthened to realize the final goal of schistosomiasis elimination. | Jing Xu Shi-Zhu Li Li-Juan Zhang Robert Bergquist Hui Dang Qiang Wang Shan Lv Tian-Ping Wang Dan-Dan Lin Jian-Bing Liu Guang-Hui Ren Kun Yang Yang Liu Yi Dong Shi-Qing Zhang Xiao-Nong Zhou | 2020 | Infectious Diseases of Poverty2020,9,3: | 20 |
| 12 | Large Scale Photochemical Synthesis of M@TiO_(2) Nanocomposites (M = Ag, Pd, Au, Pt) and Their Optical Properties, CO Oxidation Performance, and Antibacterial Effect显示文摘Well-dispersed M@TiO_(2)(M=Ag,Pd,Au,Pt)nanocomposite particles with a diameter of 200-400 nm can be synthesized on a large scale by a clean photochemical route which does not require any additives using spherical rutile nanoparticles as a support.The sizes of Pt,Au,and Pd nanoparticles formed on the surface of TiO_(2) particles are about 1 nm,5 nm,and 5 nm,respectively,and the diameter of Ag nanoparticles is in the range 2-20 nm.Moreover,the noble metal nanoparticles have good dispersity on the particles of the TiO_(2) support,resulting in excellent catalytic activities.Complete conversion in catalytic CO oxidation is reached at temperatures as low as 333 and 363 K,respectively,for Pt@TiO_(2) and Pd@TiO_(2) catalysts.In addition,the antibacterial effects of the as-synthesized TiO_(2) nanoparticles,silver nanoparticles,and Au@TiO_(2) and Ag@TiO_(2) nanocomposites have been tested against Gram-negative Escherichia coli(E.coli)bacteria.The results demonstrate that the presence of the TiO_(2) matrix enhances the antibacterial effect of silver nanoparticles,and the growth of E.coli can be completely inhibited even if the concentration of Ag in Ag@TiO_(2) nanocomposite is very low(10μg/mL). | Shao Feng Chen Jian Ping Li Kun Qian Wei Ping Xu Yang Lu Wei Xin Huang Shu Hong Yu | 2010 | Nano Research2010,3,4: | 20 |

The evolutionary regime of kerogens (for instance, the immaturity, early maturity, middle maturity, late maturity, and catagenesis stages) can be indicated by the absorption coefficient in the THz region. | 14 | Lung transplantation as therapeutic option in acute respiratory distress syndrome for coronavirus disease 2019-related pulmonary fibrosis显示文摘Background:Critical patients with the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),even those whose nucleic acid test results had turned negative and those receiving maximal medical support,have been noted to progress to irreversible fatal respiratory failure.Lung transplantation(LT)as the sole therapy for end-stage pulmonary fibrosis related to acute respiratory distress syndrome has been considered as the ultimate rescue therapy for these patients.Methods:From February 10 to March 10,2020,three male patients were urgently assessed and listed for transplantation.After conducting a full ethical review and after obtaining assent from the family of the patients,we performed three LT procedures for COVID-19 patients with illness durations of more than one month and extremely high sequential organ failure assessment scores.Results:Two of the three recipients survived post-LT and started participating in a rehabilitation program.Pearls of the LT team collaboration and perioperative logistics were summarized and continually improved.The pathological results of the explanted lungs were concordant with the critical clinical manifestation,and provided insight towards better understanding of the disease.Government health affair systems,virology detection tools,and modern communication technology all play key roles towards the survival of the patients and their rehabilitation.Conclusions:LT can be performed in end-stage patients with respiratory failure due to COVID-19-related pulmonary fibrosis.If confirmed positive-turned-negative virology status without organ dysfunction that could contraindicate LT,LT provided the final option for these patients to avoid certain death,with proper protection of transplant surgeons and medical staffs.By ensuring instant seamless care for both patients and medical teams,the goal of reducing the mortality rate and salvaging the lives of patients with COVID-19 can be attained. | Jing-Yu Chen Kun Qiao Feng Liu Bo Wu Xin Xu Guo-Qing Jiao Rong-Guo Lu Hui-Xing Li Jin Zhao Jian Huang Yi Yang Xiao-Jie Lu Jia-Shu Li Shu-Yun Jiang Da-Peng Wang Chun-Xiao Hu Gui-Long Wang Dong-Xiao Huang Guo-Hui Jiao Dong Wei Shu-Gao Ye Jian-An Huang Li Zhou Xiao-Qin Zhang Jian-Xing He | 2020 | Chinese Medical Journal2020,,12: | 19 |
| 15 | A review of aerial manipulation of small-scale rotorcraft unmanned robotic systems显示文摘Small-scale rotorcraft unmanned robotic systems(SRURSs) are a kind of unmanned rotorcraft with manipulating devices. This review aims to provide an overview on aerial manipulation of SRURSs nowadays and promote relative research in the future. In the past decade, aerial manipulation of SRURSs has attracted the interest of researchers globally. This paper provides a literature review of the last 10 years(2008–2017) on SRURSs, and details achievements and challenges. Firstly, the definition, current state, development, classification, and challenges of SRURSs are introduced. Then, related papers are organized into two topical categories: mechanical structure design, and modeling and control. Following this, research groups involved in SRURS research and their major achievements are summarized and classified in the form of tables. The research groups are introduced in detail from seven parts. Finally, trends and challenges are compiled and presented to serve as a resource for researchers interested in aerial manipulation of SRURSs. The problem,trends, and challenges are described from three aspects. | 16 | Visualization Experiments of a Specific Fuel Flow Through Quartz-glass Tubes Under both Sub- and Supercritical Conditions显示文摘The present work is a visualization study of a typical kerosene (RP-3) flowing through vertical and horizontal quartz-glass tubes under both suband supercritical conditions by a high speed camera. The experiments are accomplished at temperatures of 300-730 K under pressures from 0.107-5 MPa. Six distinctive two-phase flow patterns are observed in upward flow and the critical point of RP-3 is identified as critical pressure pc=2.33 MPa and critical temperature Tc=645.04 K and it is found that when the fluid pressure exceeds 2.33 MPa the flow can be considered as a single phase flow. The critical opalescence phenomenon of RP-3 is observed when the temperature is between 643.16 K and 648.61 K and the pressure is between 2.308 MPa and 2.366 MPa. The region filled by the critical opalescence in the upward flow is clearly larger than that in the downward flow due to the interaction between the buoyancy force and fluid inertia. | 19 | Increased brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity is associated with impaired endothelial function in patients with coronary artery disease显示文摘Background Pulse wave velocity and flow-mediated vasodilation (FMD) are widely used as noninvasive modalities for evaluating atherosclerosis. However, it is not known whether pulse wave velocity is related to FMD in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD). Therefore, the present study was designed to investigate the alteration in brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity (baPWV) and endothelial function in CAD patients. Methods Thirty-three patients with CAD and thirty control subjects were recruited for this study. baPWV was measured non-invasively using a VP 1000 automated PWV/ABI analyzer (PWV/ABI, Colin Co. Ltd., Komaki, Japan). Endothelial function as reflected by FMD in the brachial artery was assessed with a high-resolution ultrasound device. Results baPWV was increased in CAD patients compared with control subjects [(1756.1±253.1) cm/s vs (1495.3±202.3) cm/s, P<0.01]. FMD was significantly reduced in CAD patients compared with control subjects [(5.2±2.1) % vs (11.1±4.4) %, P<0.01]. baPWV correlated with FMD (r =-0.68, P<0.001). The endothelium-independent vasodilation induced by sublingual nitroglycerin in the brachial artery was similar in the CAD group compared with the control group. Conclusions CAD is associated with increased baPWV and endothelial dysfunction. Increased baPWV parallels diminished endothelial function. | 20 | Enhanced bioremediation of oil contaminated soil by graded modified Fenton oxidation显示文摘Graded modified Fenton's (MF) oxidation is a strategy in which H 2 O 2 is added intermittently to prevent a sharp temperature increase and undesired soil sterilization at soil circumneutral pH versus adding the same amount of H 2 O 2 continuously.The primary objective of the present study was to investigate whether a mild MF pre-oxidation such as a stepwise addition of H 2 O 2 can prevent sterilization and achieve a maximum degradation of tank oil in soil.Optimization experiments of graded MF oxidation were conducted using citric acid,oxalic acid and SOLV-X as iron chelators under different frequencies of H 2 O 2 addition.The results indicated that the activity order of iron chelates decreased as:citric acid (51%) > SOLV-X (44%) > oxalic acid (9%),and citric acid was found to be an optimized iron chelating agent of graded MF oxidation.Three-time addition of H 2 O 2 was found to be favorable and economical due to decreasing total petroleum hydrocarbon removal from three time addition (51%) to five time addition (59%).Biological experiments were conducted after graded MF oxidation of tank oil completed under optimum conditions mentioned above.After graded oxidation,substantially higher increase (31%) in microbial activity was observed with excessive H 2 O 2 (1470 mmol/L,the mol ratio of H 2 O 2:Fe 2+ was 210:1) than that of non-oxidized soil.Removal efficiency of tank oil was up to 93% after four weeks.Especially,the oil fraction (C 10 -C 40 ) became more biodagradable after graded MF oxidation than its absence.Therefore,graded MF oxidation is a mild pretreatment to achieve an effective bioremediation of oil contaminated soil. | Jinlan Xu Lei Xin Tinglin Huang Kun Chang | 2011 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2011,23,11: | 17 |
