| 2 | Trends in Incidence Rates,Mortality Rates,and Age-Period-Cohort Effects of Cervical Cancer—China,2003–2017显示文摘Introduction:This study reported the trends and analyzed the age-period-cohort effects on the incidence and mortality rates of cervical cancer in China.Methods:The age-standardized incidence rate(ASIR)and mortality rate(ASMR)by Segi’s world standard population were calculated using qualified consecutive data from 22 cancer registries from 2003 to 2017 in China.We performed joinpoint analysis to describe the trends and age-period-cohort analysis to estimate the independent effects of age,period and cohort on trends in incidence and mortality rates of cervical cancer.Results:The ASIR and ASMR for cervical cancer in females over 20 years old increased during 2003−2017.For females<50 years,a decreasing trend in ASIR and a stable trend in ASMR were observed in urban areas after 2009.But the ASIR and ASMR kept increasing in rural areas during the whole period.For females>50 years,the ASIR and ASMR increased both in urban and rural areas.Age-period-cohort analysis showed increasing period effects on cervical cancer incidence and mortality during the whole period.The cohort effects exhibited a downward-upwarddownward pattern for the incidence(1918–1938,1938–1963,1963–1993)and mortality rates(1918–1943,1943–1963,1963–1993)in urban areas,a fluctuating pattern for incidence rate and a continuing downward pattern for mortality rate(1918–1993)in rural areas.Conclusions:The increases in cervical cancer incidence and mortality rates can be mostly explained by period effects.We observed decreases in risk for cervical cancer incidence and mortality in young female generations,which were more obvious in urban areas. | Kexin Sun Rongshou Zheng Lin Lei Siwei Zhang Hongmei Zeng Shaoming Wang Li Li Ru Chen Bingfeng Han Ji Peng Wenqiang Wei Jie He | 2022 | China CDC weekly2022,4,48: | 4 |
| 3 | Experimental and numerical investigation on opposing plasma synthetic jet for drag reduction显示文摘Experimental and numerical studies are carried out to validate the potential of opposing Plasma Synthetic Jet(PSJ)for drag reduction for a hemisphere.Firstly,flow field changes of opposing PSJ are analyzed by comparing the experimental schlieren images and simulation results in a supersonic free stream of Mach number 3.As PSJ is a kind of unsteady pulsed jet,the shock standoff distance increases initially and then decreases under the control of PSJ,which corresponds to the change of the strength of PSJ.Accordingly,the amount of drag reduction of the hemisphere increases initially and then decreases.It is found that there is a short period of“drag rise”during the formation of PSJ before the drag reduction,which is induced by the generation of normal shock waves and the area difference of the cavity wall of PSJ Actuator(PSJA).Secondly,the effects of five parameters,including exit diameter,discharge energy of PSJA,Mach number,static pressure of incoming flow and angle of attack,on drag reduction of opposing PSJ were studied in detail by using numerical method.It is found that the Maximum Pressure Ratio(MPR)has a significant impact on the average drag reduction for a configuration-determined PSJA.For the configuration selected in this study,the flow field of opposing PSJ shows typical Short Penetration Mode(SPM)in a control cycle of PSJ when the MPR is less than 0.89.However,the flow field shows typical Long Penetration Mode(LPM)at some time when the MPR is bigger than 0.89.Relatively better drag reduction is achieved in this case. | Wei XIE Zhenbing LUO Yan ZHOU Wenqiang PENG Qiang LIU Dengpan WANG | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2022,35,8: | 4 |
| 4 | Novel lift enhancement method based on zero-mass-flux jets and its adaptive controlling laws design显示文摘For lessening the weight and volume of flow control system,enlarging the circulation control applying area of angle of attack(AOA),and achieving nice controlling characteristics,a novel lift enhancement method based on dual synthetic jet actuators(DSJAs)and synthetic jet actuator(SJA),and an adaptive proportional integral and differential(PID)algorithm based on radial basis function neural network are introduced.DSJAs are uniformly located along the chord to suppress the separation and trailing-edge SJA is applied to achieve the high circulation.Velocities of actuators are modulated to realize the real speed profile and on–off controlling laws of DSJAs are designed.Numerical simulations show that DSJAs and SJA could suppress the separation completely and move leading-edge stagnation point and trailing-edge separation point downstream even at AOA of 19°,hence achieve the highest lift and nose-down moment augmentation(ΔCl_(max)=0.92,ΔCm_(max)=0.02534),andΔL/D can reach 11.39 at AOA of 18°.Stalling is delayed to more than 19°.Linear lift area and pitch-break angle are both increased to 16°.ΔCl/C_(μ) can reach 76.7,indicating the greatest control efficiency.The results of adaptive PID control,whose controlling effects are proved better than PID,indicate that lift could track the objective with the rise time of 0.0325 s and finally keep steady,suggesting the nice stability and rapidness. | Zhijie Zhao Zhenbing Luo Bin Xu Xiong Deng Yuyan Guo Wenqiang Peng Shiqing Li | 2021 | Acta Mechanica Sinica2021,37,10: | 3 |

| 8 | 2,5-Diformylfuran production by photocatalytic selective oxidation of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural in water using MoS_(2)/CdIn_(2)S_(4) flower-like heterojunctions显示文摘The selective oxidation of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural(HMF) into 2,5-diformylfuran(DFF) is an important reaction for renewable biomass building blocks. Compared with thermal catalytic processes, photocatalytic production of DFF from HMF has attracted tremendous attention. Herein, the MoS_(2)/CdIn_(2)S_(4)(MC)flower-like heterojunctions were prepared and considered as photocatalysts for selective oxidation of HMF into DFF under visible-light irradiation in aqueous solution. Results demonstrated MoS_(2) in MC heterojunction could promote the separation of photoexcited electron-hole pairs, while the amount of MoS_(2) dropping was proved influenced on the photocatalytic performance. 80.93% of DFF selectivity was realized when using 12.5% MC as photocatalyst. In addition, the MC catalyst also showed great potential in transformation of other biomass derived benzyl-and furyl-alcohols. The catalytic mechanism suggested that ·O_(2)^(-) was the decisive active radical for HMF oxidation. | 11 | Array-level boosting method with spatial extended allocation to improve the accuracy of memristor based computing-in-memory chips显示文摘Memristor based computing-in-memory chips have shown the potentials to accelerate deep neural networks with high energy efficiency. Due to the inherent filament-based conductive mechanism of the memristor, the reading and writing noises are hard to eliminate. Besides, the precision of the large-scale memristor array is still limited. However, when the noise of the memristor is large, the existing training methods to reduce the accuracy loss of memristor based computing-in-memory chips will face challenges.Hence, we proposed the array-level boosting method with spatial extended allocation to reduce the accuracy loss induced by the limited precision and large noises. To optimize the spatial allocation number of each layer in the neural network, the greedy spatial extended allocation algorithm is also proposed. The image processing and classification tasks are demonstrated based on fabricated 32×128 memristor arrays to valid the performance of the proposed method. | 12 | Trends in Incidence Rates,Mortality Rates,and Age-Period-Cohort Effects of Female Breast Cancer—China,2003-2017显示文摘Introduction:This study reported the trends in female breast cancer incidence and mortality rates in China,and analyzed the corresponding age-periodcohort effects.Methods:Data from 22 population-based cancer registries in China between 2003 and 2017 were analyzed.Age-standardized incidence rates(ASIR)and mortality rates(ASMR)were calculated using Segi’s world standard population.Joinpoint regression was employed to evaluate trends,and age-period-cohort effects were examined using the intrinsic estimator method.Results:The ASIR for female breast cancer exhibited a more rapid increase in rural areas compared to urban areas across all age groups.The most substantial increase was observed in the 20-34 age group in rural areas[annual percent change(APC)=9.0%,95%confidence interval(CI):7.0%-11.0%,P<0.001].The ASMR for females under 50 years old remained stable from 2003 to 2017 in both urban and rural areas.However,the ASMR for females over 50 in rural areas and those over 65 in urban areas demonstrated a significant increase,with the most pronounced increase observed among females over 65 in rural areas(APC=4.9%,95%CI:2.8%-7.0%,P<0.001).Age-period-cohort analysis revealed increasing period effects and decreasing cohort effects for female breast cancer incidence and mortality rates in both urban and rural settings.Notably,the cohort effect for incidence displayed a slight upward trend for females born between 1983 and 1992 in rural areas.Conclusions:Our study revealed a rapid increase in breast cancer incidence among younger generations and an accelerated mortality rate in older populations residing in rural areas.To effectively address the growing burden of female breast cancer in China,it is essential to develop and implement targeted intervention strategies. | Kexin Sun Lin Lei Rongshou Zheng Siwei Zhang Hongmei Zeng Shaoming Wang Li Li Ru Chen Bingfeng Han Ji Peng Wenqiang Wei Jie He | 2023 | China CDC weekly2023,5,15: | 1 |
| 13 | Experimental demonstration of nonlinear quantum metrology with optimal quantum state显示文摘Nonlinear quantum metrology may exhibit better precision scalings. For example, the uncertainty of an estimated phase may scale as ??∝1/(N^2) under quadratic phase accumulation, which is 1/N times smaller than the linear counterpart, where N is probe number. Here, we experimentally demonstrate the nonlinear quantum metrology by using a spin-I(I > 1/2) nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR) ensemble that can be mapped into a system of N=2I spin-1/2 particles and the quadratic interaction can be utilized for the quadratic phase accumulation. Our experimental results show that the phase uncertainty can scale as ??∝1/(N^2-1)by optimizing the input states, when N is an odd number. In addition, the interferometric measurement with quadratic interaction provides a new way for estimating the quadrupolar coupling strength in an NMR system. | 14 | Effects of Siraitia grosvenorii extracts on high fat diet-induced obese mice:a comparison with artificial sweetener aspartame显示文摘Long-term artificial sweetener intake is linked to increased risk of obesity. In the present study, supplement of natural sweetener from Siraitia grosvenorii(SG)(or Momordica grosvenorii) fruit, compared with the artificial sweetener aspartame(ASM), was evaluated for anti-obesity effects on mice fed with high fat diet(HFD). We found that, in contrary to ASM, SG extracts prevented body weight gain, the insulin resistance and fat mass accumulation in HFD mice. SG extracts treatment inhibited the infiltration of inflammatory macrophages and lowered the levels of the fat inflammatory cytokines(leptin, macrophage chemoattractant protein 1(MCP-1) and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)) in adipose tissues. In addition, SG extracts supplement counteracted the remodeling of gut microbiota resulted from HFD. However, ASM supplement aggravated the HFD-induced obese performances, fat inflammation and dysregulation of gut microbiota. | 15 | Comparing independent climate-sensitive models of aboveground biomass and diame ter grow th with their compatible simultaneous model system for three larch species in China显示文摘Accurate estimate of tree biomass is essential for forest management.In recent years,several climate-sensitive allometric biomass models with diameter at breast height(D)as a predictor have been proposed for various tree species and climate zones to estimate tree aboveground biomass(AGB).But the allometric models only account for the potential effects of climate on tree biomass and do not simultaneously explain the influence of climate on D growth.In this study,based on the AGB data from 256 destructively sampled trees of three larch species randomly distributed across the five secondary climate zones in northeastern and northern China,we first developed a climate-sensitive AGB base model and a climate-sensitive D growth base model using a nonlinear least square regression separately.A compatible simultaneous model system was then developed with the climate-sensitive AGB and D growth models using a nonlinear seemingly unrelated regression.The potential effects of several temperature and precipitation variables on AGB and D growth were evaluated.The fitting results of climatic sensitive base models were compared against those of their compatible simultaneous model system.It was found that a decreased isothermality([mean of monthly(maximum temperatureminimum temperature)]/(Maximum temperature of the warmest month-Minimum temperature of the coldest month))and total growing season precipitation,and increased annual precipitation significantly increased the values of AGB;an increase of temperature seasonality(a standard deviation of the mean monthly temperature)and precipitation seasonality(a standard deviation of the mean monthly precipitation)could lead to the increase of D.The differences of the model fitting results between the compatible simultaneous system with the consideration of climate effects on both AGB and D growth and its corresponding climate-sensitive AGB and D growth base models were very small and insignificant(p>0.05).Compared to the base models,the inhere nt correlation of AGB with D was taken into account effectively by the proposed compatible model system developed with the climate-sensitive AGB and D grow th models.In addition,the compatible properties of the estimated AGB and D were also addressed substantially in the proposed model system. | Zhigang Gao Qiuyan Wang Zongda Hus Peng Luo Guangshuang Duan Ram PSharma Qiaolin Ye Wenqiang Gao Xinyu Song Liyong Fut | 2019 | International Journal of Biomathematics2019,12,7: | 1 |

| 18 | Decorating MXene with tiny ZIF-8 nanoparticles:An effective approach to construct composites for water pollutant removal显示文摘MXenes have attracted increasing research enthusiasm owing to their unique physical and chemical properties.Although MXenes exhibit exciting potential in cations adsorption due to their unique surface groups,the adsorption capacity is limited by the low specific surface area and undeveloped porosity.Our work aims at enhancing the adsorption performance of a well-known MXene,Ti3C2Tx,for methylene blue(MB)by decorating tiny ZIF-8 nanoparticles in the interlayer.After the incorporation of ZIF-8,suitable interspace in the layers resulting from the distribution of tiny ZIF-8 appears.When employing in MB,the adsorption capacity of composites can reach up to 107 mg·g^(-1) while both ZIF-8(3 mg·g^(-1))and Ti_(3)C_(2)Tx(9mg·g^(-1))show nearly no adsorption capacity.The adsorption mechanism was explored,and the good adsorption capacity is caused by the synergistic effect of ZIF-8 and Ti_(3)C_(2)Tx,for neither of them is of suitable interspace or surface groups for MB adsorption.Our work might pave the way for constructing functional materials based on the introduction of nanoparticles into layered materials for various adsorption applications. | Chen Gu Wenqiang Weng Cong Lu Peng Tan Yao Jiang Qiang Zhang Xiaoqin Liu Linbing Sun | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2022,35,2: | 1 |
