| 1 | 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents显示文摘Syncope belongs to the transient loss of consciousness(TLOC), characterized by a rapid onset, short duration, and spontaneous complete recovery. It is common in children and adolescents, accounting for 1% to 2% of emergency department visits.Recurrent syncope can seriously affect children's physical and mental health, learning ability and quality of life and sometimes cardiac syncope even poses a risk of sudden death. The present guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was developed for guiding a better clinical management of pediatric syncope. Based on the globally recent development and the evidence-based data in China, 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was jointly prepared by the Pediatric Cardiology Society, Chinese Pediatric Society, Chinese Medical Association(CMA)/Committee on Pediatric Syncope, Pediatricians Branch, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Committee on Pediatric Cardiology, Chinese College of Cardiovascular Physicians, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Pediatric Cardiology Society, Beijing Pediatric Society, Beijing Medical Association(BMA). In its first phase, JUNA aims at the direct measurements of^(25)Mg(p,γ)^(26)Al,^(19)F(p,α)^(16)O,^(13)C(α,n)^(16)O and ^(12)C(α,γ)^(16)O reactions. The experimental setup,which includes an accelerator system with high stability and high intensity, a detector system, and a shielding material with low background, will be established during the above research. | 4 | Human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell transplantation attenuates axonal injury in stroke rats显示文摘Previous studies have shown that transplantation of human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells promotes neural functional recovery after stroke, but the neurorestorative mechanisms remain largely unknown. We hypothesized that functional recovery of myelinated axons may be one of underlying mechanisms. In this study, an ischemia/reperfusion rat model was established using the middle cerebral artery occlusion method. Rats were used to test the hypothesis that intravenous transplantation of human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells through the femoral vein could exert neuroprotective effects against cerebral ischemia via a mechanism associated with the ability to attenuate axonal injury. The results of behavioral tests, infarction volume analysis and immunohistochemistry showed that cerebral ischemia caused severe damage to the myelin sheath and axons. After rats were intravenously transplanted with human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells, the levels of axon and myelin sheath-related proteins, including microtubule-associated protein 2, myelin basic protein, and growth-associated protein 43, were elevated, infarct volume was decreased and neural function was improved in cerebral ischemic rats. These findings suggest that intravenously transplanted human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells promote neural function. | 5 | Selective laser melting of dense and crack-free AlCoCrFeNi_(2.1) eutectic high entropy alloy: Synergizing strength and ductility显示文摘Additively manufactured high-entropy alloys generally suffer from low strength and/or poor ductility.In this work,by leveraging the good castability of eutectic high entropy alloys and high cooling rate of selective laser melting(SLM),we report a nearly fully dense and crack-free as-SLM AlCoCrFeNi_(2.1) eutectic high entropy alloy with an exceptional strength-ductility synergy,showing an ultrahigh yield strength of 982.1±35.2 MPa and an ultimate tensile strength of 1322.8±54.9 MPa together with an elongation to fracture of 12.3±0.5%.Such strength-ductility enhancement is owing to the heterogeneous eutectic microstructure consisting of the columnar,equiaxed,and“L-shape”cells with much refined sizes down to nanoscales.The morphology of cells in the transition zone is related to the misorientation between the growth direction of adjacent layers.This heterogeneous eutectic microstructure is the result of the graingrowth behavior dominated by the mechanisms of the epitaxial growth and growth of heterogeneous nuclei in SLM.Our current results provide a new methodology for the future design of ultrahigh-strength and ductile SLM-fabricated metallic materials including HEAs,and other printable alloys for various structural applications. | Lin He Shiwei Wu Anping Dong Haibin Tang Dafan Du Guoliang Zhu Baode Sun Wentao Yan | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,22: | 2 |
| 6 | Ferric oxide nanosheet-engineered Mg alloy for synergetic osteosarcoma photothermal/chemodynamic therapy显示文摘Osteosarcoma(OS)is a malignant tumor with a high rate of recurrence.Recently,biodegradable Mg-based implants have become a new therapeutic platform for bone-related diseases.However,poor biosafety and deficient intelligent tumor-killing ability of Mg-based implants are still the main challenges for the pre-cise treatment of OS.Herein,based on the excellent catalytic and photothermal conversion properties of nanozyme ferric oxide(Fe_(3)O_(4)),a novel two-step hydrothermal method for in situ preparation of Fe_(3)O_(4)nanosheets on the surface of plasma electrolytic oxidation(PEO)-treated Mg alloy using Mg-Fe layered double hydroxides(Mg-Fe LDH)as precursor was proposed.Compared with Mg alloy,there were no obvious corrosion cracks on the surface of Fe_(3)O_(4)nanosheets-coated Mg alloy(Fe_(3)O_(4)-NS)immersed in 0.9 wt.%NaCl for 14 days,which demonstrated the corrosion resistance of Mg alloy was significantly enhanced.Cytocompatibility experiments and hemolysis assay confirmed the great biocompatibility of Fe_(3)O_(4)-NS,especially,hemolysis ratio was lower than 1%.Meanwhile,Fe_(3)O_(4)-NS presented excellent cat-alytic oxidation capacity in the presence of H_(2)O_(2),and its temperature can significantly increase from 27℃to approximately 56℃under NIR irradiation.Therefore,intelligent responsive Fe_(3)O_(4)nanosheets-engineered Mg-based implants demonstrated excellent antitumor properties in vivo and in vitro due to their photothermal and chemodynamic synergetic effects.This study provides a novel approach for the preparation of Fe_(3)O_(4)coatings on the surface of Mg alloys and a new strategy for the treatment of OS. | Huihui Du Dongdong Zhang Ru Xu Juning Xie Shiwei Guan Shuhan Chen Feng Peng Shi Qian Xuanyong Liu | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,7: | 2 |

| 10 | The Construction of an Intrauterine Diagnosis and Treatment System and Comprehensive Lifecycle Health Service of Congenital Heart Disease:Xinhua Hospital Model显示文摘With the growing influence of slow population growth and population aging,China has established the birth policy and issued a series of documents to promote maternal and fetal health and improve the birth rate.With the increase in prevalence of birth defects,timely diagnosis and intervention in utero provide possibilities to reduce unnecessary abortions and offer better prognosis.Congenital heart disease(CHD),as one of the most common congenital birth defects,is the leading cause of mortality in patients aged<5 years,and brings a heavy burden to both the affected families and society.Fetuses with CHD are associated with an increased risk of pregnancy-related complications and premature birth,and children with CHD typically face growth and developmental problems even after the correction of malformation.Therefore,management including diagnosis,treatment,and rehabilitation throughout the fetal period into childhood and even adulthood is essential for children with CHD.Based on the rapid advances in intrauterine and perinatal medicine and an in-depth collaboration among obstetrics and pediatrics,a novel diagnosis and treatment system has been established for the management of CHD in the past 2 decades in Shanghai Xinhua Hospital.This Intrauterine Diagnosis and Treatment System and Comprehensive Lifecycle Health Service of Congenital Heart Disease model provides prenatal diagnosis,intrauterine intervention,delivery room service and neonatal therapies,and postintrauterine rehabilitation for children with CHD.We have developed a four-dimensional spatiotemporal image correlation echocardiography and a three-dimensional cardiac virtual endoscopy system for the intrauterine diagnosis of CHD,dramatically raising the diagnostic utility.Our innovative and independent newborn-intervention technique has effectively reduced the re-intervention rate in patients with pulmonary atresia with intact ventricular septum and critical pulmonary stenosis.In 2018,Xinhua Hospital independently performed the case of fetal aortic valvuloplasty in Asia through a multidepartment collaborative effort.All children treated in this system achieved biventricular circulation and a better long-term postoperative outcome.We also have conducted postoperative rehabilitation therapy to promote the development and health of children with CHD.The practice of Xinhua model has reduced unnecessary abortion of CHD fetuses,reduced the mortality rate associated with critical CHD,and improved the mid-and long-term prognosis in CHD,which is essential to promote the fertility level and children’s health.Furthermore,translational medicine platform and the birth cohort Early Life Plan was constructed to explore the origins of major developmental diseases and establish an early intervention model in CHD.This practice of assessment of the intrauterine system has been expanded to other congenital defects in Xinhua Hospital,and sequential treatment of more than 2,000 cases has been completed to date.Based on practice in intrauterine management of CHD and other diseases,the concept of Intrauterine Pediatrics was proposed as a first to emphasize early prevention and intervention of childhood diseases and promote a comprehensive lifecycle service for children.The development and evolution of this system requires further attention not only from researchers but also from the government and global medical communities. | Shiwei Jiang Jiajun Ye Hualin Wang Jian Wang Sun Cheni Yongjun Zhang Qing Du Ling Yang Lei Wang Kun Sun | 2023 | Cardiology Discovery2023,3,3: | 0 |

| 13 | Specific ion effects on soil aggregate stability and rainfall splash erosion显示文摘Soil interparticle forces can pose important effects on soil aggregate stability and rainfall splash erosion.Meanwhile,these interparticle forces are strongly influenced by specific ion effects.In this study,we applied three monovalent cations(Li^(+),Na^(+),and K^(+))with various concentrations to investigate the influence of specific ion effects on aggregate stability and splash erosion via pipette and rainfall simulation methods.The specific ion effects on soil interparticle forces were quantitatively evaluated by introducing cationic non-classical polarization.The results showed that aggregate stability and splash erosion had strong ion specificity.Aggregate breaking strength and splash erosion rate at the same salt concentration followed the sequence as Li^(+)>Na^(+)>K^(+).With decreasing salt concentration,the difference in aggregate breaking strength or splash erosion rate between different cation systems increased initially(1–10^(-2)mol L^(–1))and later was nearly invariable(10^(–2)–10^(–4)mol L^(–1)).The experimental results were well quantitatively explained by soil interparticle forces considering cationic non-classical polarization.Furthermore,both aggregate breaking strength and splash erosion rate of three cations revealed a strong positive linear relation with net force subjected to cationic non-classical polarization(R^(2)=0.81,R^(2)=0.81).These results demonstrated that different non-classical polarization of cations resulted in different soil interparticle forces,and thus led to differences in aggregate stability and splash erosion.Our study provides valuable information to deeply understand the mechanisms of rainfall splash erosion. | Jingfang Liu Feinan Hu Chenyang Xu Wei Du Zhenghong Yu Shiwei Zhao Fenli Zheng | 2022 | International Soil and Water Conservation Research2022,10,4: | 0 |
