1Simulation of large-scale numerical substructure in real-time dynamic hybrid testing显示文摘A solution scheme is proposed in this paper for an existing RTDHT system to simulate large-scale finite element(FE) numerical substructures. The analysis of the FE numerical substructure is split into response analysis and signal generation tasks, and executed in two different target computers in real-time. One target computer implements the response analysis task, wherein a large time-step is used to solve the FE substructure, and another target computer implements the signal generation task, wherein an interpolation program is used to generate control signals in a small time-step to meet the input demand of the controller. By using this strategy, the scale of the FE numerical substructure simulation may be increased significantly. The proposed scheme is initially verified by two FE numerical substructure models with 98 and 1240 degrees of freedom(DOFs). Thereafter, RTDHTs of a single frame-foundation structure are implemented where the foundation, considered as the numerical substructure, is simulated by the FE model with 1240 DOFs. 2Chemoselective hydrogenolysis of tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol to 1,5-pentanediol over Ir-MoO_x/SiO_2 catalyst显示文摘In this work, MoOx promoted Ir/SiO2 catalysts were prepared and used for the selective hydrogenolysis of tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol(THFA)to 1,5-pentanediol in a continuous flow reactor. The effects of different noble metals(Ir, Pt, Pd, Ru, Rh), supports and Ir contents were screened.Among the investigated catalysts, 4 wt%Ir-MoOx/SiO2 with a Mo/Ir atomic ratio of 0.13 exhibited the best catalytic performance. The synergy between Ir particles and the partially reduced isolated MoOx species attached on them is essential for the excellent catalytic performance of Ir-MoOx/SiO2. The catalyst exhibited a better hydrogenolysis efficiency of THFA with the selectivity of 1,5-pentanediol of 65%–74% at a conversion of THFA of 70%–75% when the initial THFA concentration is ranging from 20 wt% and 40 wt%. And higher system pressure was also in favor of the conversion of THFA. 4Expression Analysis of Genes Related to Auxin Metabolism at Different Growth Stages of Pak Choi显示文摘Pak choi is a low-temperature vernalized plant that readily undergoes premature bolting during spring, but little is known about the governing molecular regulation of vernalization. In order to enhance our understanding of mechanism about premature bolting, we discussed the relationship between auxin(indole-3-acetic acid, IAA) and flowering of pak choi. During vernalization, hormone metabolism is an important regulatory pathway, and IAA plays a specific role. IAA metabolism has been studied in Arabidopsis thaliana and other plants, but not in pak choi. In this paper, the IAA content in pak choi shoot apices during vernalization and different growth stages was compared. The IAA content decreased significantly after low-temperature treatment(4 °C) and then increased rapidly during vegetative growth. During floral bud initiation,the IAA content decreased rapidly and was the lowest. Expressions of genes encoding key IAA metabolic enzymes were analyzed, and a major synthetase-encoding gene was downregulated, while a key degrading enzyme-encoding gene was upregulated during each comparison period,resulting in decreased IAA content. Expressions of four genes(Bra034975, Bra030246, Bra012239 and Bra040296) were consistent with changes in the IAA content. 5A putative bHLH transcription factor is a candidate gene for male sterile 32,a locus affecting pollen and tapetum development in tomato显示文摘The tomato(Solanum lycopersicum)male sterile 32(ms32)mutant has been used in hybrid seed breeding programs largely because it produces no pollen and has exserted stigmas.In this study,histological examination of anthers revealed dysfunctional pollen and tapetum development in the ms32 mutant.The ms32 locus was fine mapped to a 28.5 kb interval that encoded four putative genes.Solyc01g081100,a homolog of Arabidopsis bHLH10/89/90 and rice EAT1,was proposed to be the candidate gene of MS32 because it contained a single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)that led to the formation of a premature stop codon.A codominant derived cleaved amplified polymorphic sequence(dCAPS)marker,MS32D,was developed based on the SNP.Real-time quantitative reverse-transcription PCR showed that most of the genes,which were proposed to be involved in pollen and tapetum development in tomato,were downregulated in the ms32 mutant.These findings may aid in marker-assisted selection of ms32 in hybrid breeding programs and facilitate studies on the regulatory mechanisms of pollen and tapetum development in tomato.Xiaoyan Liu Mengxia Yang Xiaolin Liu Kai Wei Xue Cao Xiaotian Wang Xiaoxuan Wang Yanmei Guo Yongchen Du Junming Li Lei Liu Jinshuai Shu Yong Qin Zejun Huang 2019Horticulture Research2019,6,1:3
6Characteristics of N^(6)-methyladenosine Modification During Sexual Reproduction of Chlamydomonas reinhardtii显示文摘The unicellular green alga Chlamydomonas reinhardtii(hereafter Chlamydomonas)possesses both plant and animal attributes,and it is an ideal model organism for studying fundamental processes such as photosynthesis,sexual reproduction,and life cycle.N^(6)-methyladenosine(m^(6)A)is the most prevalent mRNA modification,and it plays important roles during sexual reproduction in animals and plants.However,the pattern and function of m^(6)A modification during the sexual reproduction of Chlamydomonas remain unknown.Here,we performed transcriptome and methylated RNA immunoprecipitation sequencing(MeRIP-seq)analyses on six samples from different stages during sexual reproduction of the Chlamydomonas life cycle.The results show that m^(6)A modification frequently occurs at the main motif of DRAC(D=G/A/U,R=A/G)in Chlamydomonas mRNAs.Moreover,m^(6)A peaks in Chlamydomonas mRNAs are mainly enriched in the 30 untranslated regions(30 UTRs)and negatively correlated with the abundance of transcripts at each stage.In particular,there is a significant negative correlation between the expression levels and the m^(6)A levels of genes involved in the microtubule-associated pathway,indicating that m^(6)A modification influences the sexual reproduction and the life cycle of Chlamydomonas by regulating microtubule-based movement.In summary,our findings are the first to demonstrate the distribution and the functions of m^(6)A modification in Chlamydomonas mRNAs and provide new evolutionary insights into m^(6)A modification in the process of sexual reproduction in other plant organisms.Ying Lv Fei Han Mengxia Liu Ting Zhang Guanshen Cui Jiaojiao Wang Ying Yang Yun-Gui Yang Wenqiang Yang 2023Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2023,21,4:2
7In-Situ Synthesis of CQDs/BiOBr Material via Mechanical Ball Milling with Enhanced Photocatalytic Performances显示文摘Designing simple, efficient, and environmentally friendly methods to construct high-efficient photocatalysts is an important strategy to promote the further development of the field of photocatalysis. Herein, flower-like carbon quantum dots(CQDs)/Bi OBr composite photocatalysts have been prepared via in-situ synthesis by mechanical ball milling in the existence of ionic liquid. The CQDs/Bi OBr composites exhibit higher photo-degradation performance for tetracycline(TC) than Bi OBr monomer and the commercial Bi_(2)O_(3) under visible light irradiation. For comparison, the different Br sources and synthetic methods are chosen to prepare Bi OBr and CQDs/Bi OBr composites. Photocatalysts prepared by ball milling and ionic liquid present significantly enhanced photocatalytic performance for removing TC. In addition, the introduction of CQDs could distinctly enhance the photocatalytic performances of pure Bi OBr. The reason is that CQDs as electron acceptor effectively separate electrons and holes and inhibit their recombination. The intermediates during photocatalytic degradation were tested using liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry(LC-MS) and possible degradation pathways were given. During degradation, ·OH, O_(2)^(·-)and h^(+) were identified to be the main active species based on electron spin resonance(ESR) spectra and free radical trapping experiments. 11Consensus on potential biomarkers developed for use in clinical tests for schizophrenia显示文摘Background Schizophrenia is a serious mental illness affecting approximately 20 million individuals globally.Both genetic and environmental factors contribute to the illness.If left undiagnosed and untreated,schizophrenia results in impaired social function,repeated hospital admissions,reduced quality of life and decreased life expectancy.Clinical diagnosis largely relies on subjective evidence,including self-reported experiences,and reported behavioural abnormalities followed by psychiatric evaluation.In addition,psychoses may occur along with other conditions,and the symptoms are often episodic and transient,posing a significant challenge to the precision of diagnosis.Therefore,objective,specific tests using biomarkers are urgently needed for differential diagnosis of schizophrenia in clinical practice.Aims We aimed to provide evidence-based and consensus-based recommendations,with a summary of laboratory measurements that could potentially be used as biomarkers for schizophrenia,and to discuss directions for future research.Methods We searched publications within the last 10 years with the following keywords:‘schizophrenia’,‘gene’,‘inflammation’,‘neurotransmitter’,‘protein marker’,‘gut microbiota’,‘pharmacogenomics’and‘biomarker’.A draft of the consensus was discussed and agreed on by all authors at a round table session.Results We summarised the characteristics of candidate diagnostic markers for schizophrenia,including genetic,inflammatory,neurotransmitter,peripheral protein,pharmacogenomic and gut microbiota markers.We also proposed a novel laboratory process for diagnosing schizophrenia in clinical practice based on the evidence summarised in this paper.Conclusions Further efforts are needed to identify schizophrenia-specific genetic and epigenetic markers for precise diagnosis,differential diagnosis and ethnicity-specific markers for the Chinese population.The development of novel laboratory techniques is making it possible to use these biomarkers clinically to diagnose disease.Ping Lin Junyu Sun Xiaoyan Lou Dan Li Yun Shi Zhenhua Li Peijun Ma Ping Li Shuzi Chen Weifeng Jin Shuai Liu Qing Chen Qiong Gao Lili Zhu Jie Xu Mengyuan Zhu Mengxia Wang Kangyi Liang Ling Zhao Huabin Xu Ke Dong Qingtian Li Xunjia Cheng Jinghong Chen Xiaokui Guo 2022General Psychiatry2022,35,1:1
12Bayesian Network Based Imprecise Probability Estimation Method for Wind Power Ramp Events显示文摘Although wind power ramp events(WPREs)are relatively scarce,they can inevitably deteriorate the stability of power system operation and bring risks to the trading of electricity market.In this paper,an imprecise conditional probability estimation method for WPREs is proposed based on the Bayesian network(BN)theory.The method uses the maximum weight spanning tree(MWST)and greedy search(GS)to build a BN that has the highest fitting degree with the observed data.Meanwhile,an extended imprecise Dirichlet model(IDM)is developed to estimate the parameters of the BN,which quantificationally reflect the ambiguous dependencies among the random ramp event and various meteorological variables.The BN is then applied to predict the interval probability of each possible ramp state under the given meteorological conditions,which is expected to cover the target probability at a specified confidence level.The proposed method can quantify the uncertainty of the probabilistic ramp event estimation.Meanwhile,by using the extracted dependencies and Bayesian rules,the method can simplify the conditional probability estimation and perform reliable prediction even with scarce samples.Test results on a real wind farm with three-year operation data illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.Yuanchun Zhao Wenli Zhu Ming Yang Mengxia Wang 2021Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2021,9,6:1

14Facet effect on the reconstructed Cu-catalyzed electrochemical hydrogenation of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural(HMF) towards 2,5-bis(hydroxymethy)furan (BHMF)显示文摘The electrochemical hydrogenation of HMF to BHMF is an elegant alternative to the conventio nal thermocatalytic route for the production of high-value-added chemicals from biomass resources.In virtue of the wide potential window with promising Faradic efficiency(FE) towards BHMF,Cu-based electrode has been in the center of investigation.However,its structure-activity relationship remains ambiguous and its intrinsic catalytic activity is still unsatisfactory.In this work,we develop a two-step oxidation-reduction strategy to reconstruct the surface atom arrangement of the Cu foam(CF).By combination of multiple quasi-situ/in-situ techniques and density functional theory(DFT) calculation,the critical factor that governs the reaction is demonstrated to be facet effect of the metallic Cu crystal:Cu(110) facet accounts for the most favorable surface with enhanced chemisorption with reactants and selective production of BHMF,while Cu(100) facet might trigger the accumulation of the by-product 5,5'-bis(hydroxy methy)hydrofurion(BHH).With the optimized composition of the facets on the reconstructed Cu(OH)_(2)-ER/CF,the performance could be noticeably enhanced with a BHMF FE of 92.3% and HMF conversion of 98.5% at a potential of -0.15 V versus reversible hydrogen electrode(vs.RHE) in 0.1 M KOH solution.This work sheds light on the incomplete mechanistic puzzle for Cu-catalyzed electrochemical hydrogenation of HMF to BHMF,and provides a theoretical foundation for further precise design of highly efficient catalytic electrodes.Mengxia Li Tianxi Zheng Dongfei Lu Shiwei Dai Xin Chen Xinchen Pan Dibo Dong Rengui Weng Gang Xu Fanan Wang 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,9:1

16Cytoplasmic YAP1-mediated ESCRT-III assembly promotes autophagic cell death and is ubiquitinated by NEDD4L in breast cancer显示文摘Background:Nuclear Yes1-associated transcriptional regulator(YAP1)promotes tumor progression.However,the function of cytoplasmic YAP1 in breast cancer cells and its impact on the survival of breast cancer patients remain unclear.Our research aimed to explore the biological function of cytoplasmic YAP1 in breast cancer cells and the possibility of cytoplasmic YAP1 as a predictive marker of breast cancer survival.Methods:We constructed cell mutant models,including NLS-YAP15SA(nuclear localized),YAP1S94A(incapable of binding to the TEA domain transcription factor family)and YAP1S127D(cytoplasmic localized),and used Cell Counting Kit-8(CCK-8)assays,5-ethynyl-2’-deoxyuridine(EdU)incorporation assays,and Western blotting(WB)analysis to detect cell proliferation and apoptosis.The specific mechanism of cytoplasmic YAP1-mediated endosomal sorting complexes required for transport III(ESCRT-III)assembly was studied by co-immunoprecipitation,immunofluorescence staining,and WB analysis.Epigallocatechin gallate(EGCG)was used to simulate YAP1 retention in the cytoplasm in in vitro and in vivo experiments to study the function of cytoplasmic YAP1.YAP1 binding to NEDD4-like E3 ubiquitin protein ligase(NEDD4L)was identified using mass spectrometry and was verified in vitro.Breast tissue microarrays were used to analyze the relationship between cytoplasmic YAP1 expression and the survival of breast cancer patients.Results:YAP1 was mainly expressed in the cytoplasm in breast cancer cells.Cytoplasmic YAP1 promoted autophagic death of breast cancer cells.Cytoplasmic YAP1 bound to the ESCRT-III complex subunits charged multivesicular body protein 2B(CHMP2B)and vacuolar protein sorting 4 homolog B(VPS4B),promoting assembly of CHMP2B-VPS4B and activating autophagosome formation.EGCG retained YAP1 in the cytoplasm,promoting the assembly of CHMP2B-VPS4B to promote autophagic death of breast cancer cells.YAP1 bound to NEDD4L,and NEDD4L mediated ubiquitination and degradation of YAP1.Breast tissue microarrays revealed that high levels of cytoplasmic YAP1 were beneficial to the survival of breast cancer patients.Conclusions:Cytoplasmic YAP1 mediated autophagic death of breast cancer cells by promoting assembly of the ESCRT-III complex;furthermore,we established a new breast cancer survival prediction model based on cytoplasmic YAP1 expression.Yan Guo Yuqing Cui Yangyang Li Xiaoying Jin Dandan Wang Mengxia Lei Fengzhi Chen Yali Liu Jinwen Xu Guanyu Yao Guangchun Zeng Xuesong Chen 2023Cancer Communications2023,43,5:0

19Characteristics of MBR Oily Sludge and Its Influence on Membrane Fouling under Two Aeration Modes显示文摘A membrane bioreactor(MBR)with ordinary aeration(reactor R1)and a MBR with microporous aeration(reactor R2)are conducted in parallel to investigate the characteristics of oily sludge and its effect on membrane fouling.The results indicate that the order of membrane fouling rate from high to low is:reactor R1 dissolved oxygen(DO)(1 mg/L)>reactor R2 DO(1 mg/L)>reactor R1 DO(4 mg/L)>reactor R2 DO(4 mg/L).Membrane fouling rate is not related to oily sludge concentration but to oily sludge sedimentation performance and the small particle oily sludge is the key factor to affect the membrane fouling.The soluble microbial products(SMP)are examined by three-dimensional excitation-emission matrix(3DEEM)fluorescence spectra.3DEEM spectra demonstrate that the main organic substances of the SMP in two reactors are tyrosine aromatic protein,fulvic acid-like substances and soluble microbial products under DO are1 mg/L and 4 mg/L,respectively.The proportion sum of fulvic acid-like substances and soluble microbial products is the key factor affecting membrane fouling,and membrane fouling accelerates as the ratio increases.Yuansha Xie Huiying Liu Yan Wang Jun Yi Xianwei Wu Mengxia Wu Jie Dai 2019Open Journal of Yangtze Oil and Gas2019,4,2:0
20Broadband 1T-polytype tantalum disulfide saturable absorber for solid-state bulk lasers显示文摘1T-polytype tantalum disulfide(1T-TaS_(2)),an emerging strongly correlated material,features a narrow bandgap of 0.2 e V,bridging the gap between zero-bandgap graphene and large-bandgap 2D nonlinear optical(NLO)materials.Combined with its intense light absorption,high carrier concentration,and high mobility,1T-TaS_(2) shows considerable potential for applications in broadband optoelectronic devices.However,its NLO characteristics and related applications have rarely been explored.Here,1T-TaS_(2) nanosheets are prepared by chemical vapor deposition.The ultrafast carrier dynamics in the 400–1100 nm range and broadband NLO performance in the 515–2500 nm range are systematically studied using femtosecond lasers.An obvious saturable absorption phenomenon is observed in the visible to IR range.The nonlinear absorption coefficient is measured to be-22.60±0.52 cm MW-1under 1030 nm,which is larger than that of other typical 2D saturable absorber(SA)materials(graphene,black phosphorus,and MoS_(2))under similar experimental conditions.Based on these findings,using 1T-TaS_(2) as a new SA,passively Q-switched laser operations are successfully performed at 1.06,1.34,and 1.94μm.The results highlight the promise of 1T-TaS_(2) for broadband optical modulators and provide a potential candidate material system for mid-IR nonlinear optical applications.MENGXIA WANG HAILONG QIU TIANWEN YANG ZHENGPING WANG CHUANRUI ZHAO YUANAN ZHAO TING YU YUYAO JIANG MEILING CHEN YAFEI LIAN GE ZHANG HONGJUN LIU ZHANGGUI HU JIANDA SHAO 2022Photonics Research2022,10,9:0
