1Role of sorbent surface functionalities and microporosity in 2,2′,4,4′-tetrabromodiphenyl ether sorption onto biochars显示文摘The study provides insight into the combined effect of sorbent surface functionalities and microporosity on2,2 ′,4,4 ′-tetrabromodiphenyl ether (BDE-47) sorption onto biochars. A series of biochars prepared underdifferent conditionswere used to test their sorption behaviorswith BDE-47. The extents of sorption behaviorswere parameterized in terms of the single-point adsorption equilibrium constant (Koc ) at three equilibrium concentration (C e ) levels (0.001Sw (solubility), 0.005Sw , and 0.05Sw )whichwasdetermined using the Freundlich model. To elucidate the concentration-dependentdominant mechanisms for BDE-47 sorption onto biochars, K ocwas correlatedwith four major parameters using multiple parameter linear analysis accompaniedwith significance testing. The results indicated that at low concentration (Ce = 0.001Sw ), the surface microporosity term,which represented a pore-filling mechanism, contributed significantly to this relationship,while as concentrationwas increased to higher levels, surface functionality related to surface adsorption began to take thedominant role,whichwas further confirmed by the results of Polanyi-based modeling. Given the above results, adual mode model based on Dubinin-Radushkevich andde Boer-Zwikker equationswas adopted to quantitatively assess the changes of significance of surface adsorption aswell as that of pore fillingwith sorption processdevelopment. 2Expression Analysis of Genes Related to Auxin Metabolism at Different Growth Stages of Pak Choi显示文摘Pak choi is a low-temperature vernalized plant that readily undergoes premature bolting during spring, but little is known about the governing molecular regulation of vernalization. In order to enhance our understanding of mechanism about premature bolting, we discussed the relationship between auxin(indole-3-acetic acid, IAA) and flowering of pak choi. During vernalization, hormone metabolism is an important regulatory pathway, and IAA plays a specific role. IAA metabolism has been studied in Arabidopsis thaliana and other plants, but not in pak choi. In this paper, the IAA content in pak choi shoot apices during vernalization and different growth stages was compared. The IAA content decreased significantly after low-temperature treatment(4 °C) and then increased rapidly during vegetative growth. During floral bud initiation,the IAA content decreased rapidly and was the lowest. Expressions of genes encoding key IAA metabolic enzymes were analyzed, and a major synthetase-encoding gene was downregulated, while a key degrading enzyme-encoding gene was upregulated during each comparison period,resulting in decreased IAA content. Expressions of four genes(Bra034975, Bra030246, Bra012239 and Bra040296) were consistent with changes in the IAA content. 4OsCYCP4s coordinate phosphate starvation signaling with cell cycle progression in rice显示文摘Phosphate starvation leads to a strong reduction in shoot growth and yield in crops.The reduced shoot growth is caused by extensive gene expression reprogram-ming triggered by phosphate deficiency,which is not itself a direct consequence of low levels of shoot phosphorus.However,how phosphate starvation inhibits shoot growth in rice is still unclear.In this study,we determined the role of OsCYCP4s in the regulation of shoot growth in response to phosphate starvation in rice.We demonstrate that the ex-pression levels of OsCYCP4s,except OsCYCP4;3,were induced by phosphate starvation.Overexpression of the phosphate starvation induced OsCYCP4s could compete with the other cyclins for the binding with cyclin-dependent kinases,therefore suppressing growth by reducing cell proliferation.The phosphate starvation induced growth inhibition in the loss-of-function mutants cycp4;1,cycp4;2,and cycp4;4 is par-tially compromised.Furthermore,the expression of some phosphate starvation inducible genes is negatively modu-lated by these cyclins,which indicates that these OsCYCP4s may also be involved in phosphate starvation signaling.We conclude that phosphate starvation induced OsCYCP4s might coordinate phosphate starvation signaling and cell cycle progression under phosphate starvation stress.Lei Xu Fang Wang Ruili Li Minjuan Deng Meilan Fu Huiying Teng Keke Yi 2020Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2020,62,7:2

18Flower development and sexual dimorphism in Vernicia montana显示文摘The mu oil tree(Vernicia montana Lour.) is a dioecious species, but the genetic mechanisms underlying its phenotypic sexual dimorphism are unclear. In this study, we determined two pivotal phases of sex differentiation of mu oil tree via morphological and histological analyses of unisexual flowers:(Ⅰ) differentiation of male or female primordia to produce staminate flowers(SFs) or transient hermaphrodite flowers(HFs),and(Ⅱ) complete abortion of stamens in transient HFs to generate pistillate flowers(PFs). A total of 1621 sex-biased genes were identified by comparative transcriptome analysis which exhibited elevated rates of protein evolution than unbiased genes. The female-biased genes were enriched in the production of defense compounds while male-biased genes were focused on the production of viable pollens. Transcriptomebased analysis revealed that the differentially expressed genes(DEGs) between PFs and SFs in phase Ⅰ involved in abscisic acid(ABA), auxin(AUX), cytokinin(CK), ethylene(ET), and gibberellin(GA) biosynthesis and signaling showed higher expression levels in males than in females in general, whereas the DEGs involved in jasmonic acid(JA) and salicylic acid(SA) pathways displayed opposite expression patterns. Moreover,differentially expressed endogenous ABA, AUX, GAs, JA, and SA exhibited consistent biased expression patterns with the DEGs by UPLC-MSbased analysis. Exogenous application of an anti-ethylene plant growth regulator could promote the development of stamens in PFs and generated HFs. Comparative transcriptomic and hormonal analyses of PFs and SFs in phase Ⅱ indicated an increase in ET concentration when abortion of stamens in PFs occurred. 19Theoretical analysis on expansion mechanism in carbon dioxide expander显示文摘The expansion mechanism inside carbon dioxide expander is analyzed theoretically in this paper.The mechanism analysis of metastable equilibrium indicates that there is a potential barrier during phase change process.That is to say energy is required to overcome the potential barrier when the new interface is formed from primary phase.The superheat of liquid is the impetus of phase change and has an exponential decrease with the increase of the saturated temperature of fluid.The analysis also indicates that there is a critical radius during the phase change process.The bubble will grow up when its radius is larger than the critical value,otherwise,will disappear.When considering the metastable phase change,calculation of P and V during expansion process indicates that the phase-change will be delayed with the decline of pressure,which is called lag phenomenon.The phase-change delay time decreases with the increase of initial temperature.When the initial temperature is close to the critical temperature,the delay time is close to zero.The phase-change delay brings energy losses,which decrease with the increase of initial temperature and its decrease ratio also has a decrease trend.When the initial pressure is 10 MPa,the energy loss will be 1.06 W with an initial temperature of 10℃ while 0.34 W with that of 20℃.TIAN Hua MA YiTai LI MinXia ZHANG MeiLan 2011Science China(Technological Sciences)2011,54,6:0
20LCeMS/MS assay for pitavastatin in human plasma and subsequent application to a clinical study in healthy Chinese volunteers显示文摘Arapid,selective and sensitive liquid chromatography-tandem massspectrometry(LC-MS/MS)method has been developed and validated for the determination of pitavastatin in humanplasma.Following a liquid-liquid extraction,both the analytes and internal standard telmisartan were separated on a Luna C_(18) column with a mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile-methanol-1% formic acid in water(50:25:25,v/v/v).Mass spectrometric detection involved electrospray ionization in the positive ion mode followed by multiple reaction monitoring(MRM)of the transitions at m/z 421.9→290.1 for pitavastatin and m/z 515.2→276.2 for the IS.The assay for pitavastatin showed good linearity(r≥0.99)over the ranges 0.2-400 ng/ml,with a lower limit of quantitation of 0.2 ng/ml.Accuracy and precision for the assay were determined by calculating the intra-and inter-batch variation of quality control(QC)samples at three concentration levels,with relative standard deviations(RSD)of less than 15%for both analytes.The mean extraction recovery of pitavastatin and IS were both above 70%.Matrix effect hasn't been found in this method.The method has been successfully applied to a clinic pharmacokinetic study of pitavastatin administered.Tengrui Yin Qian Liu Hui Zhao Lirong Zhao Hui Liu Miao Li Meilan Cui Wengang Ren 2014Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences2014,9,6:0
