1Reinforcement effect of fiber and deoiled asphalt on high viscosity rubber/SBS modified asphalt mortar显示文摘In this paper we investigate the reinforcement mechanism of high viscosity rubber/SBS modified asphalt mortar mixed with fiber(mineral, lignin or carbon fiber) and deoiled asphalt(DOA). The softening point, penetration and viscosity tests were conducted to characterize the engineering properties of asphalt-fiber mortar. The microstructure of fiber was observed using scanning electron microscopy(SEM), and the results indicated that fiber can effectively improve the toughness of asphalt matrix through forming a spatial network structure, and then adhesion and stabilization of asphalt binder. The cone penetration test was designed to study the rheological property of fiber modified asphalt. The results indicated that the reinforcement effect increased with fibers and DOA fraction increasing to a certain threshold, and the optimal fiber content was dependent on the fiber type and its length. 2Atmospheric fine particles in a typical coastal port of Yangtze River Delta显示文摘In recent decades, coastal ports have experienced rapid development and become an important economic and ecological hub in China. Atmospheric particle is a research hotspot in atmospheric environmental sciences in inland regions. However, few studies on the atmospheric particle were conducted in coastal port areas in China, which indeed suffers atmospheric particle pollution. Lack of the physicochemical characteristics of fine particles serves as an obstacle toward the accurate control for air pollution in the coastal port area in China. Here, a field observation was conducted in an important coastal port city in Yangtze River Delta from March 6 to March 19, 2019. The average PM2.5 concentration was 63.7 ±27.8 μg/m^3 and NO3^-, SO4^2-, NH4^+, and organic matter accounted for ?60% of PM 2.5. Fe was the most abundant trace metal element and V as the ship emission indicator was detected. Transmission electron microscopy images showed that SK-rich, soot, Fe, SK-soot and SK-Fe were the major individual particles in the coastal port. V and soluble Fe were detected in sulfate coating of SK-Fe particles. We found that anthropogenic emissions, marine sea salt, and secondary atmosphere process were the major sources of fine particles. Backward trajectory analysis indicated that the dominant air masses were marine air mass, inland air mass from northern Zhejiang and inland-marine mixed air mass from Shandong and Shanghai during the sampling period. 4Modeling,analysis,and simulation of X-shape quasi-zero-stiffness-roller vibration isolators显示文摘Existing quasi-zero stiffness(QZS)isolators are reviewed.In terms of their advantages,a novel X-shape QZS isolator combined with the cam-roller-spring mechanism(CRSM)is proposed.Different from the existing X-shape isolators,oblique springs are used to enhance the negative stiffness of the system.Meanwhile,the CRSM is used to eliminate the gravity of the loading mass,while the X-shape structure leaves its static position.The existing QZS isolators are demonstrated and classified according to their nonlinearity mechanisms and classical shapes.It is shown that the oblique spring can realize negative stiffness based on the simplest mechanism.The X-shape has a strong capacity of loading mass,while the CRSM can achieve a designed restoring force at any position.The proposed isolator combines all these advantages together.Based on the harmonic balance method(HBM)and the simulation,the displacement transmissibilities of the proposed isolator,the X-shape isolators just with oblique springs,and the X-shape isolators in the traditional form are studied.The results show that the proposed isolator has the lowest beginning isolation frequency and the smallest maximum displacement transmissibility.However,it still has some disadvantages similar to the existing QZS isolators.This means that its parameters should be designed carefully so as to avoid becoming a bistable system,in which there are two potential wells in the potential energy curve and thus the isolation performance will be worsened.Xiaoye MAO Mengmeng YIN Hu DING Xiaofeng GENG Yongjun SHEN Liqun CHEN 2022Applied Mathematics and Mechanics(English Edition)2022,43,7:2

6Correlation of obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome with metabolic syndrome in snorers显示文摘Though obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS) and metabolic syndrome(MS) are correlated;the contributing factors for the occurrence of MS in Chinese snorers remain largely undefined.We aimed to investigate the associated pathogenesis of coexistence of OSAHS and MS in Chinese snorers.A total of 144 Chinese habitual snorers were divided into 3 groups,the control group(simple snorers)(n = 36),the mild OSAHS group(n= 52)and the moderate-to-severe OSAHS group(n = 56).The incidence of MS in the moderate-to-severe OSAHS group(26.8%) was significantly higher than that in the control group(8.3%),the mild OSAHS group(11.1%) and all the OSAHS patients(19.45%)(all P < 0.05).Homeostatic model assessment(HOMA) index and proinsulin(PI) were negatively correlated with nocturnal meanSpO_2 and miniSpO_2.Meanwhile,nocturnal SpO_2 were negatively correlated with body mass index,waist and neck circumferences and diastolic blood pressure,but positively correlated with total cholesterol and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol.The study indicated that in Chinese snorers,moderate-to-severe OSAHS was closely associated with MS via nocturnal hypoxemia.Qun Zhang Xiaofeng Zhang Mengmeng Zhao Hanpeng Huang Ning Ding Xilong Zhang Hong Wang 2014The Journal of Biomedical Research2014,28,3:2
7Portopulmonary hypertension: Current developments and future perspectives显示文摘Portopulmonary hypertension(POPH)is a severe pulmonary vascular disease secondary to portal hy-pertension and a subset of Group 1 pulmonary hypertension(PH).The pathological changes of POPH are indistinguishable from other PH phenotypes,including endothelial dysfunction,pulmonary vasocon-striction,and vascular remodeling.These changes cause a progressive increase in pulmonary vascular resistance and afterload of the right ventricle,eventually leading to severe right heart failure.The prognosis of POPH is extremely poor among untreated patients.POPH is associated with a high risk of death after liver transplantation(LT),and severe POPH is considered an absolute contraindication for LT.However,pulmonary arterial hypertension(PAH)-targeted therapies are administered to patients with POPH,and aggressive drug treatment significantly optimizes pulmonary hemodynamics and reduces the risk of death.Therefore,early diagnosis,aggressive PAH-targeted therapies,and proper selection of liver transplant candidates are vital to reduce the risk of surgery and improve clinical outcomes.This article aims to review the results of previous studies and describe biological mechanisms,epidemiology,po-tential risk factors,and diagnostic approaches of POPH.Moreover,we introduce recent therapeutic in-terventions for the early diagnosis of POPH and efficient clinical management decisions.Huawei Xu Baoquan Cheng Renren Wang Mengmeng Ding Yanjing Gao 2022Liver Research2022,6,1:2
8Selective coordination and localized polarization in graphene quantum dots: Detection of fluoride anions using ultra-low-field NMR relaxometry显示文摘The development of ultra-sensitive methods for detecting anions is limited by their low charge to radius ratios, microenvironment sensitivity, and p H sensitivity. In this paper, a magnetic sensor is devised that exploits the controllable and selective coordination that occurs between a magnetic graphene quantum dot(GQD) and fluoride anion(F–). The sensor is used to measure the change in relaxation time of aqueous solutions of magnetic GQDs in the presence of F–using ultra-low-field(118 μT) nuclear magnetic resonance relaxometry. The method was optimized to produce a limit of detection of 10 nmol/L and then applied to quantitatively detect F–in domestic water samples. More importantly, the key factors responsible for the change in relaxation time of the magnetic GQDs in the presence of F–are revealed to be the selective coordination that occurs between the GQDs and F–as well as the localized polarization of the water protons. 11Spatial configuration engineering of perylenediimide-based non-fullerene electron transport materials for efficient inverted perovskite solar cells显示文摘Due to their excellent photoelectron chemical properties and suitable energy level alignment with perovskite,perylene diimide(PDI)derivatives are competitive non-fullerene electron transport material(ETM)candidates for perovskite solar cells(PSCs).However,the conjugated rigid plane structure of PDI units result in PDI-based ETMs tending to form large aggregates,limiting their application and photovoltaic performance.In this study,to restrict aggregation and further enhance the photovoltaic performance of PDI-type ETMs,two PDI-based ETMs,termed PDO-PDI2(dimer)and PDO-PDI3(trimer),were constructed by introducing a phenothiazine 5,5-dioxide(PDO)core building block.The research manifests that the optoelectronic properties and film formation property of PDO-PDI2 and PDO-PDI3 were deeply affected by the molecular spatial configuration.Applied in PSCs,PDO-PDI3 with threedimensional spiral molecular structure,exhibits superior electron extraction and transport properties,further achieving the best PCE of 18.72%and maintaining 93%of its initial efficiency after a 720-h aging test under ambient conditions.Mengmeng Zheng Yawei Miao Ali Asgher Syed Cheng Chen Xichuan Yang Liming Ding Huaming Li Ming Cheng 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,5:0

16Ligand engineering of perovskite quantum dots for efficient and stable solar cells显示文摘Lead halide perovskite quantum dots(PQDs) have recently emerged as promising light absorbers for photovoltaic application due to their extraordinary optoelectronic properties. Surface ligands are of utmost importance for the colloidal stability and property tuning of PQDs, while their highly dynamic binding nature not only impedes further efficiency improvement of PQD-based solar cells but also induces intrinsic instability. Tremendous efforts have been made in ligand engineering with good hopes to solve such challenging issues in the past few years. In this review, we first present a fundamental understanding of the role of surface ligands in PQDs, followed by a brief discussion and classification of various ligands that have the potential for improving the electronic coupling and stability of PQD solids. We then provide a critical overview of recent advances in ligand engineering including the strategies of in-situ ligand engineering, postsynthesis/-deposition ligand-exchange, and interfacial engineering, and discuss their impacts on changing the efficiency and stability of perovskite QD solar cells(QDSCs). 17Modulation of Microstructure and Charge Transport in Polymer Monolayer Transistors by Solution Aging显示文摘A few monolayers of organic semiconductors adjacent to the dielectric layer are of vital importance in organic field-effect transistors due to their dominant role in charge transport.In this report,the 2-nm-thick polymer monolayers based on poly(3-hexylthiophene)with different molecular weights(M_(n))were fabricated using dip-coating technique.During the monolayer(solid state)formation from the solution,a disorder-to-order transition of polymer conformation is observed through UV-vis absorption measurement.Meanwhile,high Mn polymer monolayer generates higher crystalline fibrillar microstructure than the low Mn one due to the strongerπ–πintermolecular packing between polymers.More importantly,the solution aging procedure is utilized to further improve the morphology of polymer monolayers.It is obvious that after aging for 6 d,both fiber dimension and density as well as conjugation length are significantly increased under the same processing conditions in comparison to the fresh solution,and consequently the field-effect mobilities are remarkably enhanced by 2—4 times.Note that the maximum mobility of 0.027 cm2·V^(–1)·s^(–1)is among the highest reported values for poly(3-hexylthiophene)monolayer transistors.These results demonstrate a simple but powerful strategy for boosting the device performance of polymer monolayer transistors.Xuemei Lin Ruochen Liu Chenming Ding Junyang Deng Yifu Guo Shibing Long Ling Li Mengmeng Li 2021Chinese Journal of Chemistry2021,39,11:0
18Antifungal effects of BiOBr nanosheets carrying surfactant cetyltrimethylammonium bromide显示文摘BiOBr nanosheets are important photocatalytic nanomaterials. However, their biological effects remain to be explored. In this study, we investigated the antifungal effect of BiOBr nanosheets on Candida albicans. Strikingly,the nanosheets strongly inhibited the growth of C. albicans [IC_(50)=(96±4.7) mg/L],hyphal development and biofilm formation. Compareed to the antifungal effect of the cationic surfactant cetyltrimethylammonium bromide, the inhibitory effect of the nanosheets on fungal pathogen was attributed to cetyltrimethylammonium bromide adsorbed by the nanosheets. Thermal gravity analysis and cetyltrimethylammonium bromide release experiment indicated that only 0.42% cetyltrimethylammonium bromide on BiOBr nanosheets was released. 19Height estimation from single aerial imagery using contrastive learning based multi-scale refinement network显示文摘Height map estimation from a single aerial image plays a crucial role in localization,mapping,and 3D object detection.Deep convolutional neural networks have been used to predict height information from single-view remote sensing images,but these methods rely on large volumes of training data and often overlook geometric features present in orthographic images.To address these issues,this study proposes a gradient-based self-supervised learning network with momentum contrastive loss to extract geometric information from non-labeled images in the pretraining stage.Additionally,novel local implicit constraint layers are used at multiple decoding stages in the proposed supervised network to refine high-resolution features in height estimation.The structural-aware loss is also applied to improve the robustness of the network to positional shift and minor structural changes along the boundary area.Experimental evaluation on the ISPRS benchmark datasets shows that the proposed method outperforms other baseline networks,with minimum MAE and RMSE of 0.116 and 0.289 for the Vaihingen dataset and 0.077 and 0.481 for the Potsdam dataset,respectively.The proposed method also shows around threefold data efficiency improvements on the Potsdam dataset and domain generalization on the Enschede datasets.These results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method in height map estimation from single-view remote sensing images.Wufan Zhao Hu Ding Jiaming Na Mengmeng Li Dirk Tiede 2023International Journal of Digital Earth2023,16,1:0
20Enhanced efficiency and stability in Sn-based perovskite solar cells by trimethylsilyl halide surface passivation显示文摘Lead free tin perovskite solar cells(PKSCs)are the most suitable alternative candidate for conventional lead perovskite solar cells.However,the efficiency and the stability are insufficient,mainly because of the poor film quality and numerous defects.Here we introduce an efficient strategy based on a simple trimethylsilyl halide surface passivation to increase the film quality and reduce the defect density.At the same time,a hydrophobic protective layer on the perovskite surface is formed,which enhanced the PKSCs’stability.The efficiency of the solar cell after the passivation was enhanced from 10.05%to 12.22%with the improved open-circuit voltage from 0.57 V to 0.70 V.In addition,after 92 days of storage in N_(2) filled glovebox,the modified T-PKSCs demonstrated high stability maintaining 80%of its initial efficiency.This work provides a simple and widely used strategy to optimize the surface/interface optoelectronic properties of perovskites for giving more efficient and stable solar cells and other optoelectronic devices.Zheng Zhang Liang Wang Ajay Kumar Baranwal Shahrir Razey Sahamir Gaurav Kapil Yoshitaka Sanehira Muhammad Akmal Kamarudin Kohei Nishimura Chao Ding Dong Liu Yusheng Li Hua Li Mengmeng Chen Qing Shen Teresa SRipolles Juan Bisquert Shuzi Hayase 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,8:0
