12018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents显示文摘Syncope belongs to the transient loss of consciousness(TLOC), characterized by a rapid onset, short duration, and spontaneous complete recovery. It is common in children and adolescents, accounting for 1% to 2% of emergency department visits.Recurrent syncope can seriously affect children's physical and mental health, learning ability and quality of life and sometimes cardiac syncope even poses a risk of sudden death. The present guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was developed for guiding a better clinical management of pediatric syncope. Based on the globally recent development and the evidence-based data in China, 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was jointly prepared by the Pediatric Cardiology Society, Chinese Pediatric Society, Chinese Medical Association(CMA)/Committee on Pediatric Syncope, Pediatricians Branch, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Committee on Pediatric Cardiology, Chinese College of Cardiovascular Physicians, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Pediatric Cardiology Society, Beijing Pediatric Society, Beijing Medical Association(BMA). 2Blocking FSH inhibits hepatic cholesterol biosynthesis and reduces serum cholesterol显示文摘Menopause is associated with dyslipidemia and an increased risk of cardio-cerebrovascular disease.The classic view assumes that the underlying mechanism of dyslipidemia is attributed to an insufficiency of estrogen.In addition to a decrease in estrogen, circulating follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH)levels become elevated at menopause.In this study,we find that blocking FSH reduces serum cholesterol via inhibiting hepatic cholesterol biosynthesis.First,epidemiological results show that the serum FSH levels are positively correlated with the serum total cholesterol levels,even after adjustment by considering the effects of serum estrogen,in addition,the prevalence of hypercholesterolemia is significantly higher in peri-menopausal women than that in premenopausal women.Furthermore,we generated a mouse model of FSH elevation by intraperitoneally injecting exogenous FSH into ovariectomized (OVX)mice,in which a normal level of estrogen (E2)was maintained by exogenous supplementation. Consistently,the results indicate that FSH,independent of estrogen,increases the serum cholesterol level in this mouse model. 4Prevalent intrinsic emission from nonaromatic amino acids and poly(amino acids)显示文摘Nonaromatic amino acids are generally believed to be nonemissive, owing to their lack of apparently remarkable conjugation within individual molecules. Here we report the intrinsic visible emission of nonaromatic amino acids and poly(amino acids) in concentrated solutions and solid powders. This unique and widespread luminescent characteristic can be well rationalized by the clustering-triggered emission(CTE) mechanism, namely the clustering of nonconventional chromophores(i.e. amino, carbonyl,and hydroxyl) and subsequent electron cloud overlap with simultaneous conformation rigidification. Such CTE mechanism is further supported by the single crystal structure analysis, from which 3 D through space electronic communications are uncovered.Besides prompt fluorescence, room temperature phosphorescence(RTP) is also detected from the solids. Moreover, persistent RTP is observed in the powders of exampled poly(amino acids) of ε-poly-L-lysine(.-PLL) after ceasing UV irradiation. These results not only illustrate the feasibility of employing the building blocks of nonaromatic amino acids in the exploration of new luminescent biomolecules, but also provide significant implications for the emissions of peptides and proteins at aggregated or crystalline states. 5Polymorphism-Dependent Dynamic Ultralong Organic Phosphorescence显示文摘Developing ultralong organic phosphorescence(UOP)materials with smart response to external stimuli is of great interest in photonics applications,whereas the manipulation of molecular stacking on tuning such dynamic UOP is still a formidable challenge.Herein,we have reported two polymorphs with distinct photoactivated dynamic UOP behavior based on a pyridine derivative for the first time.Our experiment revealed that the dynamic UOP behavior including photoactivation and deactivation feature is highly dependent on irradiation intensity and environmental atmosphere.Additionally,given the unique dynamic UOP feature,these phosphors have been successfully applied to phosphorescence-dependent molecular logic gate and timing data storage.This result not only paves a way to design smart functional materials but also expands the scope of the applications on organic phosphorescence materials.Mingxing Gu Huifang Shi Kun Ling Anqi Lv Kaiwei Huang Manjeet Singh He Wang Long Gu Wei Yao Zhongfu An Huili Ma Wei Huang 2020Research2020,,1:5
6Color-tunable ultralong organic phosphorescence materials for visual UV-light detection显示文摘Ultralong organic phosphorescence(UOP)materials have roused considerable attention in the field of photonics and optoelectronics owing to the feature of long-lived emission lifetimes.However,to develop UOP materials with color-tunability is still a formidable challenge.Here,we report a class of UOP materials containing carbonyl,amino or amide groups,exhibiting colortunable persistent luminescence ranging from blue(458 nm)to yellow-green(508 nm)under different UV wavelength excitation.Taken theoretical and experimental results together,we conclude that the excitation dependent color-tunable UOP emission is ascribed to multiple emission centers from single molecular and aggregated states in crystal.Given color-tunable UOP feature,these materials are used to successfully realize visual UV-light detection.This finding not only provides a strategy to design new organic phosphorescent molecules with colorful emission,but also extends the scope of the applications of purely organic phosphorescent materials.Lifang Bian Huili Ma Wenpeng Ye Anqi Lv He Wang Wenyong Jia Long Gu Huifang Shi Zhongfu An Wei Huang 2020Science China Chemistry2020,63,10:3

10Quercetin inhibits the proliferation of multiple myeloma cells by upregulating PTPRR expression显示文摘Multiple myeloma (MM) is an incurable disease characterized by malignant plasma cell clonal expansion in the bone marrow;therefore, inhibiting the proliferation of plasma cells is an important approach to overcome the progression of MM. Quercetin (Que) is a promising flavonoid with broad-spectrum anti-tumor activity against various cancers, including MM;however, the underlying mechanism is not yet understood. The present study aimed to reveal the gene expression profile of Que-treated MM cells and clarify its potential mechanism. The 30% inhibitory concentration (IC30) of Que against MM cells was calculated, and the proliferation rate was significantly reduced after Que treatment. Next, 495 dysregulated genes were identified via RNA sequencing in Que-treated MM cells. Gene ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes analyses indicated that the dysregulated genes were enriched in various apoptosis-related GO terms and amino acid metabolism-related pathways. qPCR validation showed that protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor-type R (PTPRR) had the highest verified log2 FC (abs) among the top 15 dysregulated genes. Overexpression of PTPRR increased the sensitivity of MM cells against Que, significantly inhibiting their proliferation and colony formation ability;silencing of PTPRR showed the opposite results. Furthermore, bioinformatics analyses and PPI network construction of PTPRR indicated that dephosphorylation of ERK might be the potential pathway for the PTPRR-induced inhibition of MM cell proliferation. 12CUL4B facilitates HBV replication by promoting HBx stabilization显示文摘Objective:Hepatitis B virus(HBV)infection is a major public health problem worldwide.However,the regulatory mechanisms underlying HBV replication remain unclear.Cullin 4 B-RING ubiquitin E3 ligase(CRL4 B)is involved in regulating diverse physiological and pathophysiological processes.In our study,we aimed to explain the role of CUL4 B in HBV infection.Methods:Cul4 b transgenic mice or conditional knockout mice,as well as liver cell lines with CUL4 B overexpression or knockdown,were used to assess the role of CUL4 B in HBV replication.Immunoprecipitation assays and immunofluorescence staining were performed to study the interaction between CUL4 B and HBx.Cycloheximide chase assays and in vivo ubiquitination assays were performed to evaluate the half-life and the ubiquitination status of HBx.Results:The hydrodynamics-based hepatitis B model in Cul4 b transgenic or conditional knockout mice indicated that CUL4 B promoted HBV replication(P<0.05).Moreover,the overexpression or knockdown system in human liver cell lines validated that CUL4 B increased HBV replication in an HBx-dependent manner.Importantly,immunoprecipitation assays and immunofluorescence staining showed an interaction between CUL4 B and HBx.Furthermore,CUL4 B upregulated HBx protein levels by inhibiting HBx ubiquitination and proteasomal degradation(P<0.05).Finally,a positive correlation between CUL4 B expression and HBV pg RNA level was observed in liver tissues from HBV-positive patients and HBV transgenic mice.Conclusions:CUL4 B enhances HBV replication by interacting with HBx and disrupting its ubiquitin-dependent proteasomal degradation.CUL4 B may therefore be a potential target for anti-HBV therapy.Haixia Shan Bo Wang Xiaodong Zhang Hui Song Xi Li Yongxin Zou Baichun Jiang Huili Hu Hao Dou Changshun Shao Lifen Gao Chunhong Ma Xiaoyun Yang Xiaohong Liang Yaoqin Gong 2022Cancer Biology & Medicine2022,19,1:2
13Analytical derivative techniques for TDDFT excited-state properties:Theory and application显示文摘We review our recent work on the methodology development of the excited-state properties for the molecules in vacuum and liquid solution.The general algorithms of analytical energy derivatives for the specific properties such as the first and second geometrical derivatives and IR/Raman intensities are demonstrated in the framework of the time-dependent density functional theory(TDDFT).The performance of the analytical approaches on the calculation of excited-state energy Hessian has also been shown.It is found that the analytical approaches are superior to the finite-difference method on the computational accuracy and efficiency.The computational cost for a TDDFT excited-state Hessian calculation is only 2–3 times as that for the DFT ground-state Hessian calculation.With the low computational complexity of the developed analytical approaches,it becomes feasible to realize the large-scale numerical calculations on the excited-state vibrational frequencies,vibrational spectroscopies and the electronic-structure parameters which enter the spectrum calculations of electronic absorption and emission,and resonance Raman spectroscopies for medium-to large-sized systems.CHEN DanPing LIU Jie MA HuiLi ZENG Qiao LIANG WanZhen 2014Science China Chemistry2014,57,1:1

16Optimized design and experiment of spiral-type intra-row weeding actuator for maize(Zea mays L.)planting显示文摘Mechanical weeding not only avoids crop herbicide residue but also protects the ecological environment.Compared with mechanical inter-row weeding,mechanical intra-row weeding needs to avoid crop plants,which is conducive to causing a higher rate of seedling damage.In order to realize maize(Zea mays L.)intra-row weeding,a maize intra-row weeding mechanism was designed in this study.The mechanism can detect maize seedlings by infrared beam tube,then a sliding-cutting bevel tool moves spirally amid maize seedlings,so as to eradicate intra-row weeds.A field experiment was conducted under the following experimental conditions:the bevel tool rotation speed was 800-1400 r/min,the mechanism forward speed was 4-7 km/h,and the bevel tool depth was 2-14 cm,the experimental results illustrated that the mechanism’s average weeding rate and seedling damage rate were 95.8%and 0.6%,respectively.The variance analysis showed that the primary and secondary factors that affecting the weeding rate and seedling damage rate were the same,which were bevel tool rotation speed,mechanism forward speed,bevel tool depth in soil in a descending order according to the significances.The result of the field experiment may provide a reference for intra-row weeding device design.Honglei Jia Binglong Gu Zhongyang Ma Huili Liu Gang Wang Mingwei Li Hewen Tan 2021International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2021,14,6:1

18Practice and theoretical and technical progress in exploration and development of Shunbei ultra-deep carbonate oil and gas field,Tarim Basin,NW China显示文摘In this review on the exploration and development process of the Shunbei ultra-deep carbonate oil and gas field in the Tarim Basin, the progress of exploration and development technologies during the National 13th Five-Year Plan of China has been summarized systematically, giving important guidance for the exploration and development of ultra-deep marine carbonate reservoirs in China and abroad. Through analyzing the primary geological factors of “hydrocarbon generation-reservoir formation-hydrocarbon accumulation” of ancient and superposed basin comprehensively and dynamically, we point out that because the Lower Cambrian Yuertusi Formation high-quality source rocks have been located in a low-temperature environment for a long time, they were capable of generating hydrocarbon continuously in late stage, providing ideal geological conditions for massive liquid hydrocarbon accumulation in ultra-deep layers. In addition, strike-slip faults developed in tectonically stable areas have strong control on reservoir formation and hydrocarbon accumulation in this region. With these understandings, the exploration focus shifted from the two paleo-uplifts located in the north and the south to the Shuntuoguole lower uplift located in between and achieved major hydrocarbon discoveries. Through continuing improvement of seismic exploration technologies for ultra-deep carbonates in desert, integrated technologies including seismic acquisition in ultra-deep carbonates,seismic imaging of strike-slip faults and the associated cavity-fracture systems, detailed structural interpretation of strike-slip faults, characterization and quantitative description of fault-controlled cavities and fractures, description of fault-controlled traps and target optimization have been established.
