| 1 | Experimental study of an anti-icing method over an airfoil based on pulsed dielectric barrier discharge plasma显示文摘Aircraft icing has long been a plague to aviation for its serious threat to flight safety. Even though lots of methods for anti-icing have been in use or studied for quite a long time, new methods are still in great demand for both civil and military aircraft. The current study in this paper uses widely used Dielectric Barrier Discharge(DBD) plasma actuation to anti-ice on a NACA0012 airfoil model with a chord length of 53.5 cm in a closed-circuit icing wind tunnel. An actuator was installed at the leading edge of the airfoil model, and actuated by a pulsed low-temperature plasma power source. The actuator has two types of layout, a striped electrode layout and a meshy electrode layout.The ice accretion process or anti-icing process was recorded by a CCD camera and an infrared camera. Instantaneous pictures and infrared contours show that both types of DBD plasma actuators have the ability for anti-ice under a freestream velocity of 90 m/s, a static temperature of -7℃,an Median Volume droplet Diameter(MVD) of 20 lm, and an Liquid Water Content(LWC) of 0.5 g/m^3. The detected variations of temperatures with time at specific locations reveal that the temperatures oscillate for some time after spraying at first, and then tend to be nearly constant values.This shows that the key point of the anti-icing mechanism with DBD plasma actuation is to achieve a thermal equilibrium on the model surface. Besides, the power consumption in the anti-icing process was estimated in this paper by Lissajous figures measured by an oscilloscope, and it is lower than those of existing anti-icing methods. | 2 | The Change of the Inlet Geometry of a Centrifugal Compressor Stage and its Influence on the Compressor Performance显示文摘The impact on the compressor performance is important for designing the inlet pipe of the centrifugal compressor of a vehicle turbocharger with different inlet pipes. First, an experiment was performed to determine the compressor performance from three cases: a straight inlet pipe, a long bent inlet pipe and a short bent inlet pipe. Next, dynamic sensors were installed in key positions to collect the sign of the unsteady pressure of the centrifugal compressor. Combined with the results of numerical simulations, the total pressure distortion in the pipes, the pressure distributions on the blades and the pressure variability in the diffuser are studied in detail. The results can be summarized as follows: a bent pipe results in an inlet distortion to the compressor, which leads to performance degradation, and the effect is more apparent as the mass flow rate increases. The distortion induced by the bent inlet is not only influenced by the distance between the outlet of the bent section and the leading edge of the impeller but also by the impeller rotation. The flow fields in the centrifugal impeller and the diffuser are influenced by a coupling effect produced by the upstream inlet distortion and the downstream blocking effect from the volute tongue. | 4 | Non-axisymmetric Flow Characteristics in Centrifugal Compressor显示文摘The flow field distribution in centrifugal compressor is significantly affected by the non-axisymmetric geometry structure of the volute.The experimental and numerical simulation methods were adopted in this work to study the compressor flow field distribution with different flow conditions.The results show that the pressure distribution in volute is characterized by the circumferential non-uniform phenomenon and the pressure fluctuation on the high static pressure zone propagates reversely to upstream,which results in the non-axisymmetric flow inside the compressor.The non-uniform level of pressure distribution in large flow condition is higher than that in small flow condition,its effect on the upstream flow field is also stronger.Additionally,the non-uniform circumferential pressure distribution in volute brings the non-axisymmetric flow at impeller outlet.In different flow conditions,the circumferential variation of the absolute flow angle at impeller outlet is also different.Meanwhile,the non-axisymmetric flow characteristics in internal impeller can be also reflected by the distribution of the mass flow.The high static pressure region of the volute corresponds to the decrease of mass flow in upstream blade channel,while the low static pressure zone of the volute corresponds to the increase of the mass flow.In small flow condition,the mass flow difference in the blade channel is bigger than that in the large flow condition. | WANG Leilei LAO Dazhong LIU Yixiong YANG Ce | 2015 | Journal of Thermal Science2015,24,4: | 7 |
| 5 | Effect of Yang-activating and stasis-eliminating decoction from Traditional Chinese Medicine on intestinal mucosal permeability in rats with ulcerative colitis induced by dextran sulfate sodium显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the effect of decoction prepared with Yang-activating and stasis-eliminating medicinals from Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) on the intestinal mucosal permeability in rats with ulcerative colitis induced by dextran sulfate sodium(DSS).METHODS: Totally 55 male Wistar rats(body weight of 170-190 g) were randomly divided into the blank group(n = 10) and the model duplication group(n = 45). The blank group was not intervened, while the other was modeled with 5% dextran sulfate sodium by gavaging in a dosage of4 m L per day to induce ulcerative colitis, a total of7 days. Then, the model rats were divided into model blank group, mesalazine group and TCM group,and each group was consisted of 15 rats. They were given retention enema 10 min with normal saline,mesalazine enema(0.036 g/m L), and Yang-activating and stasis-eliminating decoction [0.54 g/m L of a decoction boiled by Puhuang(Pollen Typhae), Xiebai(Bulbus Allii Macrostemonis) and Wulingzhi(Faeces Trogopteri)] for 10 days respectively. Afterwards,all of the rats were evaluated by disease activity index(DAI), histological changes of distal colon, expression of occludin protein and ultrastructure of intestinal epithelial cells. Furthermore, ratio of lactulose to mannitol(L/M) discharged in urine was evaluated.RESULTS: Comparing the results between TCM and model control groups, scores of DAI and histological lesions decreased significantly(P = 0.000 <0.01), ultrastructures of intestinal epithelial cells and tight junctions were more complete. The expression of occludin protein(P = 0.001 < 0.01) increased while the L/M value decreased significantly(P = 0.000 < 0.01) in TCM group. | 6 | Improving Corrosion Resistance of Friction Stir Welding Joint of 7075 Aluminum Alloy by Micro-arc Oxidation显示文摘An attempt has been made to improve the corrosion resistance of friction stir welded joints of 7075 aluminum alloys by micro-arc oxidation(MAO), and the effects of Na2Si O3 concentration in electrolyte on the corrosion resistance of the coatings were discussed. Morphology and phase constituents of the MAO coatings produced in electrolyte with different Na2SiO3 concentrations were analyzed by scanning electron microscopy, confocal laser scanning microscopy and X-ray diffraction. Electrochemical tests were conducted to evaluate the corrosion resistance of the coatings. | 7 | Synergetic catalytic removal of chlorobenzene and NOχfrom waste incineration exhaust over MnNb0.4Ce0.2Oχcatalysts:Performance and mechanism study显示文摘Nb doped MnCe0.2Ox complex oxides catalysts prepared via a homogeneous precipitation method were investigated for synergistic catalytic removal of NOx and chlorobenzene(CB)at low temperatures.The MnNb0.4Ce0.2Ox catalyst with a molar ratio of Nb/Mn=0.4 exhibits excellent activity and the NOx and CB removal efficiency reaches 94.5%and 96%at 220℃,respectively.Furthermore,the NOx and CB removal efficiency of MnNb0.4Ce0.2Ox still remains above 80%after injecting 300 ppm SO2 and 7 vol%H2 O for 36 h.In addition,the presence of CB and NOx+NH3 can improve the NOx and CB removal efficiency of MnNb0.4Ce0.2Ox,respectively.The analysis results from N2-BET,Py-IR,H2-TPR and NH3-TPD reveal that the introduction of Nb increases the average pore size,pore volume and surface area,promoted the growth of Lewis acid amount obviously,and enhances redox ability of MnCe0.2Ox at 100-250℃.Moreover,the molecular migration process of NOx,NH3,CB and SO2 in NH3-SCR and CB oxidation reaction over MnNb0.4Ce0.2Ox catalysts were systematically studied.In situ DRIFTS,FT-IR and XPS also confirm that the adsorption of sulfate species and SO2 on the surface of MnNb0.4Ce0.2Ox is inhibited effectively by the introduction of Nb in the presence of SO2 and H2 O.Moreover,Nb additives also enhance the structural stability of MnNb0.4Ce0.2Ox,due to the interactions among Mn,Nb and Ce.The NH3-TPD,H2-TPR and in situ DRIFTS results also confirm that the MnNb0.4Ce0.2Ox still retains abundant acid sites and high redox ability in the presence of SO2 and H2O.In summary,MnNb0.4Ce0.2Ox catalysts represent a promising and effective candidate for controlling NOx and CB at low temperatures. | Bo Yang Qijie Jin Qiong Huang Mindong Chen Leilei Xu Yuesong Shen Haitao Xu Shemin Zhu Xiujun Li | 2020 | Journal of Rare Earths2020,38,11: | 6 |
| 8 | Effect of Salinity on the Zooplankton Community in the Pearl River Estuary显示文摘Understanding the relationship between the zooplankton distribution and salinity may provide key information to understand ecosystem function under the condition of a global mean sea level rise caused by global climate change.However,little is known about how increasing salinity level will affect the entire zooplankton community on a large scale.Here we completed 1 year of field investigations on the Pearl River Estuary and analyzed the distribution and structure of the zooplankton community.A total of 68 zooplankton species were identified during the survey.The number and diversity(richness,evenness,Shannon index,and Simpson’s index)of the zooplankton species decreased as salinity increased from 0.10 to 21.26.Salinity negatively affected the abundances of rotifers,cladocerans,and total zooplankton,while it had little effect on copepod abundance.Some salt-tolerant species,such as Keratella tropica,Polyarthra vulgaris,and Paracalanus crassirostris,survived at high-salinity sites.A pattern was observed at all sites:the peak in copepod abundance always occurred when rotifers were abundant(sites S1 and S2)or after rotifer abundance reached a maximum level(sites S3,S4,and S5).In general,salinity was the most important environmental factor shaping zooplankton biodiversity and abundance.This study provides insight into potential biodiversity and structure of the zooplankton community in response to salinity change. | YUAN Danni CHEN Liangdong LUAN Leilei WANG Qing YANG Yufeng | 2020 | Journal of Ocean University of China2020,19,6: | 5 |

| 11 | The normal cell proliferation and wound healing effect of polysaccharides from Ganoderma amboinense显示文摘To study the cell proliferation and wound healing activity of polysaccharides from Ganoderma amboinense(GAMPS),the polysaccharide was extracted by water extraction and alcohol precipitation method,and its monosaccharide composition and molecular weight were analyzed.The effects of different concentrations of GAMPS on the cell proliferation were determined by cell survival rate test,and the wound healing ability of GAMPS to NIH/3T3 cells was detected.The preliminary evaluation of the antioxidant ability of GAMPS was conducted by the oxygen radical absorbance capacity(ORAC).The results showed that the GAMPS was composed of glucose,mannose,and galactose at a molar ratio of 67.62:14.07:7.50,and the weightaverage molecular weights were 5.439×10^(6) and 1.704×10^(5) g/mol by using high-performance gel-permeation chromatography-multiple angle laser scatter(HPGPC-MALS)analysis.GAMPS(0.2μg/μL)showed the strongest proliferation ability to THP-1 cells,with cell survival rate of 178.7%.The wound healing effect of GAMPS(0.1μg/μL)was obvious on NIH/3T3 and 3.75μg/μL of GAMPS showed the strongest total antioxidant ability.All the results indicate that GAMPS promotes cell proliferation,and has cell wound healing effect and strong antioxidant activity.The results provide theoretical foundation for the development and utilization of GAMPS. | Shuangzhi Zhao Ming Lei Hui Xu Hailun He Alexander Suvorov Junhua Wang Jiying Qiu Qingxin Zhou Jinyu Yang Leilei Chen | 2021 | Food Science and Human Wellness2021,10,4: | 4 |

| 15 | HLS bunch current measurement system显示文摘Bunch current is an important parameter for studying the injection fill-pattern in the storage ring and the instability threshold of the bunch, and the bunch current monitor also is an indispensable tool for the top-up injection. A bunch current measurement (BCM) system has been developed to meet the needs of the upgrade project of Hefei Light Source (HLS). This paper presents the layout of the BCM system. The system based on a high-speed digital oscilloscope can be used to measure the bunch current and synchronous phase shift. To obtain the absolute value of bunch-by-bunch current, the calibration coefficient is measured and analyzed. | 16 | Green Synthesis of Magnetic Adsorbent Using Groundwater Treatment Sludge for Tetracycline Adsorption显示文摘Groundwater treatment sludge is an industrial waste that is massively produced from groundwater treatment plants.Conventional methods for treatment of this sludge,such as discharge into deep wells or the sea,or disposal at landfills,are not environmentally sustainable.Here,we demonstrate an alternative strategy to recycle the sludge by preparing a magnetic maghemite adsorbent via a one-step hydrothermal method with NaOH solution as the only solvent.With this method,the weakly magnetized sludge,which contained 33.2%iron(Fe)and other impurities(e.g.,silicon(Si),aluminum(Al),and manganese(Mn)),was converted to magnetic adsorbent(MA)with the dissolution of Si/Al oxides(e.g.,quartz and albite)into the liquid fraction.At a NaOH concentration of 2 mol L^-1,approximately 18.1%of the ferrihydrite in the Fe oxides of the sludge was converted into 11.2%maghemite and 6.9%hematite after the hydrothermal treatment.MA2(i.e.,MA produced by a 2 mol L^-1 NaOH concentration)exhibited a good magnetic response of 8.2 emu g^-1(1 emu=10^-3 A m^2),and a desirable surface site concentration of 0.75 mmol g^-1.The synthesized MA2 was used to adsorb the cationic pollutant tetracycline(TC).The adsorption kinetics of TC onto MA2 fitted well with a pseudo-second-order model,and the adsorption isotherms complied well with the Langmuir model.The maximum adsorption capacity of MA2 for TC was 362.3 mg g^-1,and the main mechanism for TC adsorption was cationic exchange.This study is the first to demonstrate the preparation of an MA from recycled sludge without a reductant and/or exogenous Fe source.The prepared adsorbent can be used as a low-cost adsorbent with high capacity for TC sorption in the treatment of TC-containing wastewater. | Zhan Qu Yaqiong Wu Suiyi Zhu Yang Yu Mingxin Huo Leilei Zhang Jiakuan Yang Dejun Bian Yi Wang | 2019 | Engineering2019,5,5: | 2 |
| 17 | Ultrathin, Lightweight, and Flexible CNT Buckypaper Enhanced Using MXenes for Electromagnetic Interference Shielding显示文摘Lightweight,flexibility,and low thickness are urgent requirements for next-generation high-performance electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding materials for catering to the demand for smart and wearable electronic devices.Although several efforts have focused on constructing porous and flexible conductive films or aerogels,few studies have achieved a balance in terms of density,thickness,flexibility,and EMI shielding effectiveness(SE).Herein,an ultrathin,lightweight,and flexible carbon nanotube(CNT)buckypaper enhanced using MXenes(Ti3C2Tx)for high-performance EMI shielding is synthesized through a facile electrophoretic deposition process.The obtained Ti3C2Tx@CNT hybrid buckypaper exhibits an outstanding EMI SE of 60.5 dB in the X-band at 100μm.The hybrid buckypaper with an MXene content of 49.4 wt%exhibits an EMI SE of 50.4 dB in the X-band with a thickness of only 15μm,which is 105%higher than that of pristine CNT buckypaper.Furthermore,an average specific SE value of 5.7×10^(4) dB cm^(2) g^(−1) is exhibited in the 5-μm hybrid buckypaper.Thus,this assembly process proves promising for the construction of ultrathin,flexible,and high-performance EMI shielding films for application in electronic devices and wireless communications. | Rongliang Yang Xuchun Gui Li Yao Qingmei Hu Leilei Yang Hao Zhang Yongtao Yao Hui Mei Zikang Tang | 2021 | Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,4: | 2 |
| 18 | Deterministic Quantum Secure Direct Communication and Authentication Protocol Based on W-Class State显示文摘A Quantum secure direct communication(QSDC) and authentication protocol based on the W-class state is presented to enhance the efficiency of eavesdropping detection. In this protocol, the W-class state is used to transmission the checking sequence and detect eavesdroppers. In the security analysis, the method of entropy theory is introduced, and two detection strategies are compared quantitatively by using the constraint between the information that eavesdroppers can obtain and a normalized difference parameter is introduced. To obtain the same amount of information, the eavesdropper must face a higher detection probability in the proposed protocol than in the comparison. The security of the proposed protocol is also discussed.
