Bifunctional LiI additive for poly(ethylene oxide)electrolyte with high ionic conductivity and stable interfacial chemistry显示文摘The development of polymer-based solid-state batteries is severely limited by the low ionic conductivity of solid polymer electrolyte and the instable interface between polymer electrolyte and Li-metal anode. In this work, lithium iodide(LiI)as a bifunctional additive was introduced into the poly(ethylene oxide)(PEO)-based electrolyte to improve the ionic conductivity and to construct a stable interphase at the Li/PEO interface.I-anions offer a strong electrostatic interaction with hydrogen atoms on PEO chains(HPEO)and forming massive I–H bonds that cross-link PEO chains, decrease crystallinity of PEO,and thus improve Li~+interchain transport. In addition,LiI participates in the formation of an inorganic-rich interphase layer, which decreases the energy barrier of Li+transport across the interface and thus inhibits the growth of lithium dendrites. As a result, the composite PEO electrolyte with 2 wt%LiI(PEO-2 LiI)presents a very high ionic conductivity of 2.1×10^(-4) S cm-1 and a critical current density of 2.0 m A cm^(-2) at 45°C.Li symmetric cell with this PEO-2 LiI electrolyte exhibits a long-term cyclability over 600 h at 0.2 m A cm^(-2).Furthermore,solid-state LiFePO_(4) and LiNi_(0.8)Mn_(0.1)Co_(0.1)O_(2) batteries with the PEO-2 LiI electrolyte show an impressive electrochemical performance with outstanding cycling stability and rate capability at 45°C. | Haonan Wang Tianyi Hou Hang Cheng Bowen Jiang Henghui Xu Yunhui Huang | 2022 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,8: | 1

Engineered macrophage-biomimetic versatile nanoantidotes for inflammation-targeted therapy against Alzheimer’s disease by neurotoxin neutralization and immune recognition suppression显示文摘Immune recognition of excessive neurotoxins by microglia is a trigger for the onset of neuroinflammation in the brain, leading to neurodegeneration in Alzheimer’s disease(AD).Blocking active recognition of microglia while removing neurotoxins holds promise for fundamentally alleviating neurotoxin-induced immune responses, but is very challenging.Herein,an engineered macrophage-biomimetic versatile nanoantidote(OT-Lipo@M)is developed for inflammation-targeted therapy against AD by neurotoxin neutralization and immune recognition suppression.Coating macrophage membranes can not only endow OT-Lipo@M with anti-phagocytic and inflammation-tropism capabilities to target inflammatory lesions in AD brain, but also efficiently reduce neurotoxin levels to prevent them from activating microglia. The loaded oxytocin(OT)can be slowly released to downregulate the expression of immune recognition site Toll-like receptor 4(TLR4)on microglia, inhibiting TLR4-mediated pro-inflammatory signalling cascade.Benefiting from this two-pronged immunosuppressive strategy,OT-Lipo@M exhibits outstanding therapeutic effects on ameliorating cognitive deficits, inhibiting neuronal apoptosis, and enhancing synaptic plasticity in AD mice, accompanied by the delayed hippocampal atrophy and brain microstructural disruption by in vivo 9.4T MR imaging. This work provides new insights into potential AD therapeutics targeting microglia-mediated neuroinflammation at the source. | Meng Cheng Caihua Ye Chunxiao Tian Dongju Zhao Haonan Li Zuhao Sun Yuyang Miao Qiang Zhang Junping Wang Yan Dou | 2023 | Bioactive Materials2023,,8: | 1
Analysis of the Impact Resistance of Photovoltaic Panels Based on the Effective Thickness Method显示文摘Based on the recent development of renewable energy utilization technology,in addition to centralized photovol-taic power plants, distributed photovoltaic power generation systems represented by building-integrated photo-voltaic systems are frequently employed for power supply. Therefore,in the architectural design, the double-glass photovoltaic module used in the integrated photovoltaic building system puts forward a higher load-bearing capa-city requirement and the corresponding simplified method of carrying capacity check. This article focuses on the simplified method of checking the bearing capacity of the four-sided simply supported double-glass photovoltaic module.First, the principle of equivalent stiffness is used to calculate the effective thickness. Then, the rationality of this approach is verified by comparing the bending states of sandwich panels under different shear moduli. The double-glass photovoltaic module is equivalent to a single-layer board, and its effectiveness is verified by compar-ing the impact test results of the double-glass photovoltaic module with the results of the single-layer board. But the comparison with the test results shows that, from the perspective of architectural design, the effective thick-ness results in this paper can ensure that the building structure has sufficient bearing capacity, but the four-side simply supported boundary theory cannot fully reflect the calculation of the bearing capacity of the four-side clamped double-glass photovoltaic module. | Jian Gong Lingzhi Xie Yongxue Li Zhichun Ni Qingzhu Wei Yupeng Wu Haonan Cheng | 2022 | Journal of Renewable Materials2022,10,1: | 0
Theoretical models of void nucleation and growth for ductile metals under dynamic loading: A review显示文摘Void nucleation and growth under dynamic loading are essential for damage initiation and evolution in ductile metals. In the past few decades, the development of experimental techniques and simulation methods has helped to reveal a wealth of information about the nucleation and growth process from its microscopic aspects to macroscopic ones.Powerful and effective theoretical approaches have been developed based on this information and have helped in the analysis of the damage states of structures, thereby making an important contribution to the design of damageresistant materials. This Review presents a brief overview of theoretical models related to the mechanisms of void nucleation and growth under dynamic loading.Classical work and recent research progress are summarized, together with discussion of some aspects deserving further study. | Haonan Sui Long Yu Wenbin Liu Ying Liu Yangyang Cheng Huiling Duan | 2022 | Matter and Radiation at Extremes2022,7,1: | 0
Feasibility and physics potential of detecting ^(8)B solar neutrinos at JUNO显示文摘The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory(JUNO)features a 20 kt multi-purpose underground liquid scintillator sphere as its main detector. Some of JUNO's features make it an excellent location for^8B solar neutrino measurements, such as its low-energy threshold, high energy resolution compared with water Cherenkov detectors, and much larger target mass compared with previous liquid scintillator detectors. In this paper,we present a comprehensive assessment of JUNO's potential for detecting^8B solar neutrinos via the neutrino-electron elastic scattering process.A reduced 2 MeV threshold for the recoil electron energy is found to be achievable, assuming that the intrinsic radioactive background^(238)U and^(232)Th in the liquid scintillator can be controlled to 10^(-17)g/g.With ten years of data acquisition, approximately 60,000 signal and 30,000 background events are expected. This large sample will enable an examination of the distortion of the recoil electron spectrum that is dominated by the neutrino flavor transformation in the dense solar matter, which will shed new light on the inconsistency between the measured electron spectra and the predictions of the standard three-flavor neutrino oscillation framework.IfDelta m^(2)_(21)=4.8times10^(-5);(7.5times10^(-5))eV^(2),JUNO can provide evidence of neutrino oscillation in the Earth at approximately the 3sigma(2sigma)level by measuring the non-zero signal rate variation with respect to the solar zenith angle. Moreover,JUNO can simultaneously measureDelta m^2_(21)using^8B solar neutrinos to a precision of 20% or better, depending on the central value, and to sub-percent precision using reactor antineutrinos.A comparison of these two measurements from the same detector will help understand the current mild inconsistency between the value of Delta m^2_(21)reported by solar neutrino experiments and the KamLAND experiment. | 7 | Orthologous genesPm12andPm21from twowild relatives of wheat show evolutionary conservation but divergent powdery mildew resistance显示文摘Wheat powdery mildew, caused by Blumeria graminis f.sp.tritici(Bgt),is a devastating disease that threatens wheat production worldwide.Pm12,which originated from Aegilops speltoides,a wild relative of wheat, confers strong resistance to powdery mildew and therefore has potential use in wheat breeding.Using susceptible mutants induced by gamma irradiation,we physically mapped and isolated Pm12 and showed it to be orthologous to Pm21 from Dasypyrum villosum, also a wild relative of wheat. The resistance function of Pm12 was validated via ethyl methanesulfonatemutagenesis,virus-induced gene silencing, and stable genetic transformation.Evolutionary analysis indicates that the Pm12/Pm21 loci in wheat species are relatively conserved but dynamic. Here,we demonstrated that the two orthologous genes,Pm12 and Pm21,possess differential resistance against the same set of Bgt isolates.Overexpression of the coiledcoil domains of both PM12 and PM21 induces cell death in Nicotiana benthamiana leaves. However, their full-length forms display different cell death-inducing activities caused by their distinct intramolecular interactions.Cloning of Pm12 will facilitate its application in wheat breeding programs. This study also gives new insight into two orthologous resistance genes,Pm12 and Pm21,which show different race specificities and intramolecular interaction patterns. | Shanying Zhu Cheng Liu Shuangjun Gong Zhaozhao Chen Rong Chen Tianlei Liu Renkang Liu Haonan Du Rui Guo Genying Li Miaomiao Li Renchun Fan Zhiyong Liu Qian-Hua Shen Anli Gao Pengtao Ma Huagang He | 2023 | Plant Communications2023,4,2: | 0
Location Privacy in Mobile Big Data:User Identifiability via Habitat Region Representation显示文摘Mobile big data collected by mobile network operators is of interest to many research communities and industries for its remarkable values. However, such spatiotemporal information may lead to a harsh threat to subscribers’privacy. This work focuses on subscriber privacy vulnerability assessment in terms of user identifiability across two datasets with significant detail reduced mobility representation. In this paper,we propose an innovative semantic spatiotemporal representation for each subscriber based on the geographic information, termed as daily habitat region,to approximate the subscriber’s daily mobility coverage with far lesser information compared with original mobility traces. The daily habitat region is realized via convex hull extraction on the user’s daily spatiotemporal traces. As a result, user identification can be formulated to match two records with the maximum similarity score between two convex hull sets, obtained by our proposed similarity measures based on cosine distance and permutation hypothesis test.Experiments are conducted to evaluate our proposed innovative mobility representation and user identification algorithms, which also demonstrate that the subscriber’s mobile privacy is under a severe threat even with significantly reduced spatiotemporal information. | Luoyang Fang Xiang Cheng Liuqing Yang Haonan Wang | 2018 | Journal of Communications and Information Networks2018,3,3: | 0
Inter-operator radio interface based synchronization显示文摘The fourth generation(4G) wireless communication systems have been deployed or are soon to be deployed in many countries. However, with an explosion of wireless mobile devices and services, there are still some challenges that cannot be accommodated even by the 4G, such as the spectrum crisis and inter-cell interference. Telecom operators have turned to commit themselves to share available resources, including hardware and software resources. Therefore, with the mutual infrastructure, the ‘integration' should be highlighted, especially in the fifth generation(5G) wireless systems that are expected to be deployed beyond 2020. The authors in the article proposed a potential cellular architecture, and discussed the inter-operator radio interface based synchronization(RIBS) for the 5G wireless communication systems. A scheme of inter-operator RIBS and typical scenarios, along with the analysis of the corresponding interference were given. Analysis of the shared parameters, signaling coordination of inter-operator RIBS and listening reference signal(RS) design for RIBS were also carried out. | Feng Linlin Zhang Zhizhong Hu Haonan Cheng Fang | 2015 | The Journal of China Universities of Posts and Telecommunications2015,22,1: | 0
Spectroscopic stimulated Raman scattering imaging of highly dynamic specimens through matrix completion显示文摘Spectroscopic stimulated Raman scattering(SRS)imaging generates chemical maps of intrinsic molecules, with no need for prior knowledge.Despite great advances in instrumentation, the acquisition speed for a spectroscopic SRS image stack is fundamentally bounded by the pixel integration time.In this work,we report three-dimensional sparsely sampled spectroscopic SRS imaging that measures~20%of pixels throughout the stack. In conjunction with related work in low-rank matrix completion(e.g.,the Netflix Prize),we develop a regularized non-negative matrix factorization algorithm to decompose the sub-sampled image stack into spectral signatures and concentration maps. This design enables an acquisition speed of 0.8 s per image stack, with 50 frames in the spectral domain and 40,000 pixels in the spatial domain, which is faster than the conventional raster laser-scanning scheme by one order of magnitude.Such speed allows real-time metabolic imaging of living fungi suspended in a growth medium while effectively maintaining the spatial and spectral resolutions. This work is expected to promote broad application of matrix completion in spectroscopic laser-scanning imaging. | Haonan Lin Chien-Sheng Liao Pu Wang Nan Kong Ji-Xin Cheng | 2017 | Light(Science & Applications)2017,6,1: | 0
NIR-activated nanosystems with self-modulated bacteria targeting for enhanced biofilm eradication and caries prevention显示文摘The efficacious delivery of antimicrobial drugs to intractable oral biofilms remains a challenge due to inadequate biofilm penetration and lack of pathogen targeting.Herein,we have developed a microenvironment-activated poly(ethylene glycol)(PEG)-sheddable nanoplatform to mediate targeted delivery of drugs into oral biofilms for the efficient prevention of dental caries. The PEGylated nanoplatform with enhanced biofilm penetration is capable of deshielding the PEG layer under slightly acidic conditions in a PEG chain length-dependent manner to re-expose the bacteria-targeting ligands, thereby facilitating targeted codelivery of ciprofloxacin(CIP)and IR780 to the bacteria after accumulation within biofilms. The nanoplatform tends to induce bacterial agglomeration and suffers from degradation in the acidic oral biofilm microenvironment, triggering rapid drug release on demand around bacterial cells. The self-modulating nanoplatform under near-infrared(NIR)irradiation accordingly displays greatly augmented potency in oral biofilm penetration and disruption compared with drugs alone.Topical oral treatment with nanoplatforms involving synergetic pharmacological and photothermal/photodynamic trinary therapy results in robust biofilm dispersion and efficacious suppression of severe tooth decay in rats. This versatile nanoplatform can promote local accumulation and specific drug transport into biofilms and represents a new paradigm for targeted drug delivery for the management of oral biofilm-associated infections. | Yunjian Yu Yufei Zhang Yijie Cheng Yuxia Wang Zeyuan Chen Haonan Sun Xiaosong Wei Zhuang Ma Jie Li Yayun Bai Zhongming Wu Xinge Zhang | 2022 | Bioactive Materials2022,7,7: | 0
