Control of switched systems with actuator saturation显示文摘This paper is concerned with controller synthesis for linear switched systems with actuator saturation. Based on common Lyapunov function technique and multiple-Lyapunov function technique, two methods for designing state feedback controller are proposed respectively in terms of linear matrix inequalities for the switched systems with saturation. An approach on enlarging the attractive domain is then investigated. The application of the presented approach is illustrated finally by a numerical example. | Yang SONG Zhengrong XIANG Qingwei CHEN Weili HU | 2006 | 控制理论与应用(英文版)2006,4,1: | 5
Broadband terahertz wave generation from an epsilon-near-zero material显示文摘Broadband light sources emitting in the terahertz spectral range are highly desired for applications such as noninvasive imaging and spectroscopy.Conventionally,THz pulses are generated by optical rectification in bulk nonlinear crystals with millimetre thickness, with the bandwidth limited by the phase-matching condition. Here we demonstrate broadband THz emission via surface optical rectification from a simple, commercially available 19nmthick indium tin oxide(ITO)thin film.We show an enhancement of the generated THz signal when the pump laser is tuned around the epsilon-near-zero(ENZ)region of ITO due to the pump laser field enhancement associated with the ENZ effect. The bandwidth of the THz signal generated from the ITO film can be over 3 THz,unrestricted by the phasematching condition. This work offers a new possibility for broadband THz generation in a subwavelength thin film made of an ENZ material, with emerging physics not found in existing nonlinear crystals. | Wenhe Jia Meng Liu Yongchang Lu Xi Feng Qingwei Wang Xueqian Zhang Yibo Ni Futai Hu Mali Gong Xinlong Xu Yuanyuan Huang Weili Zhang Yuanmu Yang Jiaguang Han | 2021 | Light(Science & Applications)2021,10,1: | 4
Restless legs syndrome following the use of ziprasidone: a case report显示文摘Restless legs syndrome(RLS)is a common sleep-related movement disorder characterised by an uncomfortable urge to move the legs that occurs during periods of inactivity.Although there have been many case reports on antipsychotic-induced RLS,ziprasidone has never been reported as a cause of RLS.We present a case of a female patient with schizophrenia who presented with symptoms of RLS following the administration of high doses of ziprasidone added to quetiapine and valproate. The patient’s symptoms of RLS occurred following the administration and titration of ziprasidone to 160 mg,and were relieved upon reducing the dose to 120 mg/day.Other potential causative medications and differential diagnoses that could have caused similar symptoms were excluded.Clinicians should be aware of the potential for ziprasidone-induced RLS.Dopamine and serotonin interaction could be the mechanism underlying ziprasidone-induced RLS. | Cuizhen Zhu Ran Bi Yuliang Hu Hui Zhou Daomin Zhu Brian Isaacson Qingwei Li Yezhe Lin | 2020 | General Psychiatry2020,33,2: | 3
CH_2,NH,and O heteroatom substitution effects on the electronic, optical, and charge transport properties of a 2,1,3-benzothiadiazole-based derivative:Insights from theory显示文摘A set of CH2-,NH-,and O-substituted 2,1,3-benzothiadiazole(BTD)-based derivatives have been investigated theoretically in order to explore their electronic, optical, and charge transport properties. The calculation results show that the electronic and optical properties of the pristine molecule can be easily tuned through changing the S substituent in the central aromatic ring.Based on the calculated maximum emission wavelength,we predict that CH2-,NH-,and O-substituted BTD-based derivatives could be used as red, green, and orange light-emitting materials, respectively. After CH2-,NH-or O-substitution,the oscillator strengths of the emission spectra are enhanced with respect to that of the pristine molecule, implying that these compounds have larger fluorescence intensity. Finally,it can be deduced that CH2-,NH-,and O-substituted BTD-based derivatives may act as hole transport materials in organic light-emitting diodes. | HU Bo YAO Chan WANG QingWei ZHANG Hao YU JianKang | 2012 | Science China Chemistry2012,55,7: | 2
Study on Antireflection SiO_2 Coatings Fabricated by Layer-by-Layer Deposition显示文摘Multifunctional(poly(diallyldimethyl ammonium chloride)/sodium poly(4-styrene sulfonate)) n((PDDA/PSS) n) thin films were fabricated by layer-by-layer assembled on the glass substrate. The monolayer silica nanoparticles were prepared on the(PDDA/PSS) n films. The SiO 2-polyelectrolyte coatings exhibit antireflection properties with low refractive index(as low as 1.22).Interestingly,wavelengths of maximum transmittance could be well tailored by simply changing the particle size of SiO 2.A maximum transmittance of 97.03% in the visible spectral range is achieved for the particle size of 100 nm SiO 2 films. The coatings also show excellent mechanical stability and good adhesion to substrates. The easy availability of the raw materials and simplicity of the fabrication method for such films might make them be potentially useful for various applications. | WANG Cong HU Qingwei FANG Pengfei HE Chunqing | 2013 | Wuhan University Journal of Natural Sciences2013,18,3: | 2

Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors gama ameliorates liver fibrosis in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease by inhibiting TGF-β/Smad signaling activation显示文摘Background:Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)is a chronic condition characterized by a progressive decline in liver function, leading to disruptions in liver integrity and metabolic function, resulting in lipid deposition and excessive accumulation of extracellular matrix(ECM).The pathogenesis of NAFLD is complex and not yet fully understood, contributing to the absence of specific therapeutic strategies.Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma(PPARγ)is a ligand-activated transcription factor pivotal in regulating lipid and glucose metabolism. However, the impacts of PPARγon NAFLD remains insufficiently explored. Thus, this study aimed to investigate the role of PPARγin NAFLD and its underlying molecular mechanisms. Methods:Chemical detection kits were utilized to quantify collagen content, alanine aminotransferase(ALT),and aspartate aminotransferase(AST)level variations.Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR)was employed to assess alterations in extracellular matrix-related genes and inflammatory response genes in liver tissue and HepG2 cells, while western blotting was conducted to analyze the levels of both PPARγand the TGF-β/Smad signaling pathway. Results:Our findings unveiled significantly reduced PPARγexpression in a rat model of NAFLD,leading to subsequent activation of the TGF-β/Smad signaling pathway.Furthermore,PPARγactivation effectively mitigated NAFLD progression by inhibiting inflammation and fibrosis-related gene expression and collagen production. On a cellular level,PPARγactivation was found to inhibit the expression of extracellular matrix-related genes such as matrix metalloproteinase 2(MMP2)and matrix metalloproteinase 9(MMP9),along with inflammatory response genes interleukin(IL)-1βand IL-6.Additionally,PPARγactivation led to a significant decrease in the levels of ALT and AST.At the molecular level,PPARγnotably down-regulated the TGF-β/Smad signaling pathway, which is known to promote liver fibrosis. Conclusion:These groundbreaking findings underscore PPARγactivation as a promising therapeutic approach to delay NAFLD progression by targeting the TGF-β/Smad signaling pathway in hepatic cells. This highlights the potential of PPARγas a promising therapeutic target for NAFLD management in clinical settings. | Qingwei Zhang Wenjie Zhao Zeqi Sun Xinxin Dong Liwei Zhu Zhen Zhang Ximing Chen Yingying Hu Menghan Du Jiamin Li Yong Zhang | 2024 | Frigid Zone Medicine2024,4,1: | 0
Neotuberostemonine and tuberostemonine ameliorate pulmonary fibrosis through suppressing TGF-β and SDF-1 secreted by macrophages and fibroblasts via the PI3K-dependent AKT and ERKpathways显示文摘Activated fibroblasts and M2-polarized macrophages may contribute to the progression of pulmonary fibrosis by forming a positive feedback loop. This study was aimed to investigate whether fibroblasts and macrophages form this loop by secreting SDF-1 and TGF-β and the impacts of neotuberostemonine(NTS)and tuberostemonine(TS).Mice were intratracheally injected with 3 U·kg^(-1)bleomycin and orally administered with 30 mg·kg^(-1)NTS or TS.Primary pulmonary fibroblasts(PFBs)and MH-S cells(alveolar macrophages)were used in vitro. The animal experiments showed that NTS and TS improved fibrosis related indicators, inhibited fibroblast activation and macrophage M2 polarization, and reduced the levels of TGF-β and SDF-1 in alveolar lavage fluid.Cell experiments showed that TGF-β1 may activated fibroblasts into myofibroblasts secreting SDF-1 by activating the PI3K/AKT/HIF-1αand PI3K/PAK/RAF/ERK/HIF-1αpathways.It was also found for the first time that SDF-1 was able to directly polarize macrophages into M2 phenotype secreting TGF-β through the same pathways as mentioned above. Moreover, the results of the cell coculture confirmed that fibroblasts and macrophages actually developed a feedback loop to promote fibrosis, and the secretion of TGF-β and SDF-1 was crucial for maintaining this loop.NTS and TS may disturb this loop through inhibiting both the PI3K/AKT/HIF-1αand PI3K/PAK/RAF/ERK/HIF-1α pathways to improve pulmonary fibrosis.NTS and TS are stereoisomeric alkaloids with pyrrole[1,2-ajazapine skeleton, and their effect on improving pulmonary fibrosis may be largely attributed to their parent nucleus. Moreover, this study found that inhibition of both the AKT and ERK pathways is essential for maximizing the improvement of pulmonary fibrosis. | FU San SONG Xianrui HU Yingying ZHU Qingwei LV Xinmiao TANG Xiaoyan ZHANG Mian | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Natural Medicines2023,21,7: | 0
Objective evaluation of cleft palate speech based on analyzing plosive consonants显示文摘An objective method, using a multi-band analysis technique, was proposed for analyzing plosive consonants in cleft palate speech. At first, the speech signal is decomposed in frequency domain using an auditory filter-bank.Then,the sample-based features, namely cumulative energy and its increment speed.in each band were computed. Finally, using principle component analysis, these features were fused into one combined feature vector for assessment. Since the algorithm is based on perceptual properties of human auditory ear using non-uniform and multi-band analysis, the improvements of the consistence between the proposed approach and subjective evaluation are obtained. | HU Qi ZHAO Qingwei MA Lian YAN Yonghong | 2013 | Chinese Journal of Acoustics2013,32,2: | 0
Molecular evolution and expression pattern of Toll-like receptor 3 from the lamprey Lampetra japonica显示文摘Toll-like receptors(TLRs)are type I transmembrane proteins that are important components of innate immunity and play essential roles in inducing acquired immune responses[1].These proteins consist of three parts:the cytoplasmic domain, transmembrane domain, and extracellular domain. The extracellular domain is composed of 18–33 leucine-rich repeat(LRR)sequences that enable the host to specifically recognize pathogen-associated molecular patterns and are the core of TLR recognition ligands[2].The cytoplasmic domain is homologous with the interleukin 1 receptor(IL-1R)family and known as the Toll-IL-1 receptor homology domain, which is highly conserved and plays a key role in signal transduction[1].TLR3 recognizes viral dsRNA during immune protection from viruses[3].After the host is infected by a virus, the LRR region of TLR3 recognizes the viral dsRNA,and the Toll/IL-1 receptor(TIR)domain recruits the adaptor protein TIR domain-containing molecule 1(also known as TRIF)for signal cascade transmission[4].The activation of TLR3 finally leads to cytokine secretion, especially the production of type I interferon[4].Lamprey,the most primitive marine jawless vertebrate,is an ideal model for studying vertebrate embryo development, organ differentiation, and immune system evolution[5].Although jawless vertebrates contain three variable lymphocyte receptors, they have not been found to possess the recombinational antigen receptors shared by all jawed vertebrates[6].Compared with that in higher vertebrates, the mechanism of acquired immunity in lampreys is still not complete, and lampreys rely mainly on innate immunity to fight against pathogenic microorganisms.Although TLR3 has been extensively studied in jawed vertebrates, little is known about the molecular evolutionary history and expression patterns of TLR3 in jawless vertebrates. | Jian Quan Ming Geng Xueting Hu Shaoshu Feng Yu Liu Fan Hui Meiao Li Jinzhao Liu Peng Su Xin Liu Qingwei Li Ting Zhu | 2021 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,2: | 0
