1Measurement of interstation phase velocity by wavelet transformation显示文摘In this paper,we present wavelet transformation method to measure interstation phase velocity. We use Morlet wavelet function as mother wavelet to filter two seismograms at various period of interest,and correlate the wavelet filtered seismograms to form cross-correlogram. If both wavelet filtered signals are in phase at that period,the phase of the cross-correlogram is a minimum. 2Insight-HXMT observations of the first binary neutron star merger GW170817显示文摘Finding the electromagnetic(EM) counterpart of binary compact star merger, especially the binary neutron star(BNS) merger,is critically important for gravitational wave(GW) astronomy, cosmology and fundamental physics. On Aug. 17, 2017,Advanced LIGO and Fermi/GBM independently triggered the first BNS merger, GW170817, and its high energy EM counterpart,GRB 170817 A, respectively, resulting in a global observation campaign covering gamma-ray, X-ray, UV, optical, IR, radio as well as neutrinos. The High Energy X-ray telescope(HE) onboard Insight-HXMT(Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope) is the unique high-energy gamma-ray telescope that monitored the entire GW localization area and especially the optical counterpart(SSS17 a/AT2017 gfo) with very large collection area(~1000 cm^2) and microsecond time resolution in 0.2-5 MeV. In addition,Insight-HXMT quickly implemented a Target of Opportunity(ToO) observation to scan the GW localization area for potential X-ray emission from the GW source. Although Insight-HXMT did not detect any significant high energy(0.2-5 MeV) radiation from GW170817, its observation helped to confirm the unexpected weak and soft nature of GRB 170817 A. Meanwhile,Insight-HXMT/HE provides one of the most stringent constraints(~10^(-7) to 10^(-6) erg/cm^2/s) for both GRB170817 A and any other possible precursor or extended emissions in 0.2-5 MeV, which help us to better understand the properties of EM radiation from this BNS merger. 4Development and CommercialApplication of RSDS-II Technology for Selective Hydrodesulfurization of FCC Naphtha显示文摘The FCC naphtha selective hydrodesulfurization technology(RSDS-II)has been tested with different feedstocks in pilot scale.The results show that RSDS-II technology is viable in terms of its adaptability to different feedstocks.To produce gasoline with a sulfur content of less than 50μg/g by the RSDS-II technology,the gasoline RON loss is less than 1.8,0.9and 0.2 units,respectively,upon processing the conventional high-sulfur and high-olefin FCC naphtha,the high-sulfur MIP naphtha,and the medium-sulfur or low-sulfur MIP naphtha.Upon using the naphtha produced from pre-hydrotreated FCC feedstock as the RSDS-II feedstock to manufacture gasoline with a sulfur content of lower than 10μg/g,the RON loss does not exceed 1.0 unit.The RSDS-II technology has been commercialized successfully at many refineries.The result of operating commercial RSDS-II unit at the Shanghai Petrochemical Company has revealed that upon processing a feedstock containing 38.7 v% —43.3 v% of olefins and 250—470 mg/g of sulfur,the sulfur content in the treated gasoline ranges from 33μg/g to 46μg/g and the RON loss is equal to only 0.3—0.6 units.Till now this RSDS-II unit has been operating smoothly over 30 months.Thanks to its high HDS activity and good selectivity,the RSDS-II technology can meet the refinery’s needs for adequate upgrading of gasoline.Qu Jinhua Xi Yuanbing Li Mingfeng Pan Guangcheng Jin Xin Gao Xiaodong Nie Hong 2013China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2013,15,3:6

6Experimental investigation on dynamic mechanical characteristics and microstructure of steam-cured concrete显示文摘Steam-cured concrete is widely used to manufacture prefabricated units of high-speed railway foundation structure such as girder and track slab.The dynamic mechanical property of steam-cured concrete is one of the key properties affecting service performance of high-speed railway foundation structure.In the present paper,serial macro/micro-experiments were carried out to investigate the dynamic elastic modulus,shear modulus,damping ratio,and microstructure of steam-cured concrete.The relationships between compositions,curing regime,microstructure,and dynamic properties of steam-cured concrete as well as the corresponding mechanisms were discussed.The results indicate that steam-cured concrete in early age has a larger dynamic elastic modulus and shear modulus as well as a smaller damping ratio compared with standard-cured concrete.On the contrary,at a later age a slightly smaller dynamic elastic modulus and a larger damping ratio of steam-cured concrete are observed.Addition of mineral admixture results in a bit lower dynamic elastic modulus and damping ratio of concrete than that of the control specimen without mineral admixtures.The achievements can provide some fundamental suggestions for materials parameters selection during structural design of steam-cured concrete precast element.LONG GuangCheng WANG Meng XIE YouJun MA KunLin 2014Science China(Technological Sciences)2014,57,10:4
7Expression of rabbit defensin NP-1 gene in transgenic tobacco plants and its activity against bacterial wilt显示文摘A cDNAderived 200 bp fragment encoding a rabbit defensin NP1 mature peptide was ligated into the GUSless pBI121 to yield pBIC35NP1. Tobacco leaf discs were genetically transformed with an Agrobacterium tumefaciens strain harbouring pBIC35NP1. Northern blot analysis showed that the defensin NP1 expression cassette was normally transcribed in transgenic plants. 8Yizhijiannao Granule and a combination of its effective monomers,icariin and Panax notoginseng saponins,inhibit early PC12 cell apoptosis induced by beta-amyloid(25-35)显示文摘One of our previous studies showed that Yizhijiannao Granule,a compound Chinese medicine, effectively improved the clinical symptoms of Alzheimer's disease.In the present study,we established a model of Alzheimer's disease using beta-amyloid(25-35)in PC12 cells,and treated the cells with Yizhijiannao Granule and its four monomers,i.e.,icariin,catechin,Panax notoginseng saponins,and eleutheroside E.Flow cytometry showed that Yizhijiannao Granule-containing serum, icariin,Panax notoginseng saponins,and icariin+Panax notoginseng saponins were protective against beta-amyloid(25-35)-induced injury in PC12 cells.Icariin in combination with Panax notoginseng saponins significantly inhibited early apoptosis of PC12 cells with beta-amyloid (25-35)-induced injury compared to icariin or Panax notoginseng saponins alone.The effects of icariin+Panax notoginseng saponins were similar to the effects of Yizhijiannao Granule.The findings indicate that two of the effective monomers of Yizhijiannao Granule,icariin and Panax notoginseng saponins,can synergistically inhibit early apoptosis of PC12 cells induced by beta-amyloid(25-35).Ting Zhang Zhanwei Zhang Keli Dong Guangcheng Li Hong Zhu 2012Neural Regeneration Research2012,7,24:3
9Deterioration of dynamic mechanical property of concrete with mineral admixtures under fatigue loading显示文摘The dynamic mechanical property of concrete is one of the key parameters,which greatly influences durability of infrastructures subjected to continuous heavy loading,such as girder and track slab of high-speed railway foundation structure.This paper reports serials of experiments designed to investigate the deterioration of dynamic mechanical properties of different concretes under fatigue loading condition.Four parameters including relative dynamic elastic modulus(RDEM),relative dynamic shear modulus(RDSM),relative compressive strength(RCS)and water absorption(WA)of concrete were evaluated to assess the dynamic properties and microstructures of concretes.Results show that the fatigue stress levels and fatigue cycle durations significantly influence the dynamic mechanical properties of concrete including dynamic elastic modulus and dynamic shear modulus.Addition of proper mineral admixture can improve the dynamic mechanical characteristics of concrete and increase its resistance against the fatigue loading effect.Keeping the amount of mineral admixture in concrete constant,its dynamic mechanical property with fly ash is lower than that with fly ash and silica fume.The water absorption in concrete,which is an indirect parameter reflecting capillary porosity,increases evidently after bearing fatigue-loading.There is a close correlation between the deterioration of dynamic mechanical property and the increasing of water absorption of concrete.This indicates that the damage of microstructure of concrete subjected to fatigue loading is the indispensable reason for the decay of its dynamic mechanical performance.MA KunLin XIE YouJun LONG GuangCheng TAN WenYong 2014Science China(Technological Sciences)2014,57,10:2
10Nature inspired hierarchical structures in nano-cellular epoxy/graphene-Fe3O4 nanocomposites with ultra-efficient EMI and robust mechanical strength显示文摘Hierarchical layered structures,whether in a compact form like nacre or a porous manner like bone,are well known for their combined features of high stiffness,strength,and lightweight,inspiring many man-made materials and structures for high performance applications.The use of nacre/bone like hierarchical structures in polymer nanocomposites can achieve excellent mechanical and functional properties with high filler volume fractions after carefully aligning functional nanofillers,although the fabrication and processing remain a great challenge.In this work,a bio-inspired lightweight nano-cellular epoxy/graphene-Fe_(3)O_(4) nanocomposite with high nanofiller loading of 75 wt.%was successfully fabricated by combining features from both nacre and bone structures,via a simple compression molding process together with an eco-friendly supercritical CO_(2) foaming process to achieve robust mechanical strength and excellent electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding effectiveness(SE)simultaneously.Highly aligned graphene-Fe_(3)O_(4) nanoplatelets with well controlled nanoscale porous structures(52.6 nm)enabled both low density(1.26 g/cm^(3))and high specific EMI SE>5200 dB/cm^(2)/g,as well as preserved tensile strength of 67 MPa.This study provides a sustainable route to fabricate nature mimicked structures with high performance and high flexibility for a wide range of applications,from portable electronics to healthcare devices.Xun Fan Fengchao Wang Qiang Gao Yu Zhang Fei Huang Ronglin Xiao Jianbin Qin Han Zhang Xuetao Shi Guangcheng Zhang 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,8:2
11Disadvantaged Groups and Asymmetric Conflicts显示文摘The article metaphorizes the relationship of extra-system actors with the world's dominant international system as a'jostle-to-board-the -train Game Model,'and transplants the disadvantaged group theory of domestic sociology to international relations.On the basis of this the author proposes a loss-driven model to explain the self-destructive asymmetric conflicts in the world today.As the result of two climaxes in the jostle to board the train games,the author argues that three structural changes have occurred:centralization of power,institutionalization,and legitimization in the international system.These changes have created a'spindle-shaped'system structure with international disadvantaged groups taking a passive role.Although this structure is highly stable, channels for international disadvantaged groups to express their interests are blocked.As the net losers in the established system and order, international disadvantaged groups have no alternative but to follow the loss-driven model to confront the strong.Their action of'beating stone with eggs'is surely not capable of overthrowing the whole system,but creates a significant potential threat to world stability and harmony.zhao Guangcheng 2009Contemporary International Relations2009,19,3:2
12Overview to the Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope (Insight-HXMT) Satellite显示文摘As China’s first X-ray astronomical satellite, the Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope (HXMT), which was dubbed as Insight-HXMT after the launch on June 15, 2017, is a wide-band(1-250 ke V) slat-collimator-based X-ray astronomy satellite with the capability of all-sky monitoring in 0.2-3 Me V. 14Statistical analysis of distribution patterns of coal seams in fold zones in Northwest China显示文摘The mechanisms for rock bursts occurrences in fold zones are complex, and the redistribution of in-situ stresses is closely related to the complexity of the structures. Analysis of the geomorphology of fold structures and changes of coal thickness can help identify zones prone to rock bursts to improve safety and productivity in coal mines. This study investigated the distribution characteristics of fold structures in coal seams in fold zones in four mines in northwest China. Geometrical characteristics of fold structures in coal seams and changes of coal thickness were analysed, based on comprehensive evaluation indexes,such as the length–width ratio of folds, interlimb angle, ratio P1 of projected width of fold limbs to that of the hinge zone, curvature ratio P2, the maximum curvature and amplitude. The statistical analysis of the four coal mines shows that the length–width ratio of folds changed from 0.78 to 2.03 and the maximum curvature of cross sections of folds was less than 0.04. The curvature ratio of cross section of a fold in the structure was no more than 1.4 and the interlimb angles of cross sections of 89% of folds were larger than 150°. Gentle fold structures were dominant and the specific geological morphologies were domes or basins. The isopleth of coal thickness above the coal mines showed a fluctuation trend similar to the contour line of the floor of coal seams. The coal thickness in an anticline area was smaller than that in the neighboring syncline area. 15Treating Alzheimer's disease with Yizhijiannao granules by regulating expression of multiple proteins in temporal lobe显示文摘Yizhijiannao granules have been shown to improve cognitive function in Alzheimer's disease patients. The present study sought to explore the mechanisms involved in the cognitive enhancing effects of Yizhijiannao granule. Senescence-accelerated mouse prone 8 mice with learning and memory disorders were intragastrically treated with Yizhijiannao granule for 8 weeks. Mice intragastrically treated with double distilled water for 8 weeks were considered as the control group. 2D gel electrophoresis was used to isolate total protein from the temporal lobe of senescence-accelerated mouse prone 8 mice, and differential protein spots were obtained by mass spectrometry. Thirty-seven differential protein spots were found in the temporal lobe area of both groups. Ten protein spots were identified: high mobility group box 1, dimethylarginine dimethylaminohydrolase-1, neuroglobin, hemoglobin beta adult major chain, peroxiredoxin-6, cofilin-1, flotillin 1, peptidylprolyl isomerase A, voltage-dependent anion channel-2 and chaperonin containing TCP1, and subunit 2. Among other functions, these proteins are separately involved in the regulation of amyloid beta production, oxidative stress, neuroinflammation, regulation of tau phosphorylation, and regulation of neuronal apoptosis. 16A prototype web-based analysis platform for drought monitoring and early warning显示文摘It has long been recognized that an effective drought monitoring and early warning system,which provides functions for real-time condition monitoring and prediction,risk assessment,information dissemination and response recommendation,is very important for the preparedness for and mitigation of drought impacts.In this article,we review the currently existing drought monitor and early warning systems,discuss applicable remote sensing datasets and drought indicators and present the development of a web-based quasi-real-time Global Drought Monitoring&Analysis Platform(Web-GDMAP).The Web-GDMAP is built upon a series of indicators derived from multi-source satellite remote sensing data and various other sources of data.From a technical perspective,the Web-GDMAP system includes a series of components from data storage,model implementation and distribution,to client-side visualization and user intuitive interaction.From a theoretical perspective,the Web-GDMAP system integrates multi-indicators on different aspects of drought,including anomalies in precipitation,anomalies in land surface thermal and vegetation conditions,water deficit of soil and plants,etc.Several case studies on applying the developed Web-GDMAP in the Asian region are demonstrated.Further improvements and perspectives are discussed.Mattijn van Hoek Jie Zhou Li Jia Jing Lu Chaolei Zheng Guangcheng Hu Massimo Menenti 2020International Journal of Digital Earth2020,13,7:2
17Path analysis of sap flow of tomato under rain shelters in response to drought stress显示文摘The physiological characters and growth of tomato(Solanum lycopersicum L.)were recorded to be largely affected by different levels of irrigation.The objectives of this research were to determine the effects of deficit irrigation and rain shelters on sap flow,relative water content and the relationship between sap flow and environmental parameters.Experiments under rain shelters conditions were conducted in southern China during the growing seasons in 2012.The threshold of irrigation was designed at 80%field capacity during the whole period(T1,the control),and 30%,40%and 50%decreased water of T1 were applied as the treatments of T2,T3 and T4.The plants subjected to water stress exhibited a decrease in the values of sap flow rate and relative water content.Calculation of 95%confidence level revealed a significant difference of sap flow rate in T4 and T3 as well as the control on sunny and rainy days.The diurnal variation of the sap flow showed a single peak curve on sunny day,while it demonstrated irregular multi-peak variation on rainy days.The study also showed that the most sensitive environmental indicator affecting sap flow was solar radiation,followed by air temperature and vapour pressure deficit.Direct path coefficient was basically consistent with the coefficient of correlation,but there was slight difference between the total contribution R2 and that of variable factors.Shao Guangcheng Huang Doudou Cheng Xi Cui Jingtao Zhang Zhenhua 2016International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2016,9,2:2
