Effect of electroacpuncture of Neiguan(PC 6)and Tianquan(PC 2)on skin temperature, blood perfusion, and adrenoceptor response in rats with acute myocardial ischemia显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of electroacupuncture(EA) of acupoints Neiguan(PC 6) and Tianquan(PC 2) on the skin temperature, blood perfusion, and alpha1-and beta2-adrenoreceptor(α1-AR and β2-AR) protein and m RNA level in rats with acute myocardial ischemia.METHODS: Thirty male adult Wistar rats [(230 ±20) g] were randomly assigned into five groups(n = 6 each): a control group, sham operation group, model group, model group treated with EA at low frequency(L-EA, 2 Hz, 1 m A) and model group treated with EA at high frequency(H-EA, 100 Hz, 1 m A). The rat model was prepared by ligating the left anterior descending coronary artery. Electroacupuncture was performed at the left Neiguan(PC 6) for 20 min daily for 3 d. After the 3 rd time of the treatment, measurements of skin blood perfusion and temperature in Neiguan(PC 6) and Tianquan(PC 2) in all groups were made by laser speckle contrast imaging and infrared thermal image instrument. Real-time PCR and ELISA were used to measure m RNA level and protein level of α1-AR andβ2-AR in the skin tissues of Neiguan(PC 6) and Tianquan(PC 2), respectively. Serum levels of c Tn T and electrocardiogram were used to identify the state of myocardium.RESULTS: In the group receiving electroacupunture at Neiguan(PC 6), compared with control group, the skin temperature, blood perfusion, and β2-AR m RNA and protein level of model group significantly decreased(P < 0.05), α1-AR m RNA and protein level of model group significantly increased(P < 0.05);compared with model group, the skin temperature, blood perfusion, and β2-AR m RNA and protein level of L-EA significantly increased(P < 0.05), α1-AR m RNA and protein level of L-EA and H-EA significantly decreased(P < 0.05). The same trend has taken place in the former four groups of the Tianquan(PC 2).CONCLUSION: Low-or high-frequency electroacupuncture can improve the skin temperature and blood perfusion which may be induced by decreasingthelevelofα1-ARandincreasingthelevelofβ2-AR of the Neiguan(PC 6) and Tianquan(PC 2) in the rat with acute myocaidial ischemia.Wang Dan Ji Bo Zhao Guozhen Yan Mingna Bai Hongxin Sun Xiaomin Dai Jian Lu Yawen Liu Yitian You Min Wu Jiaojuan Ge Yunpeng Su Hang Cheng Kai 2017Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2017,37,6:3

A novel process integrating vacuum distillation with atmospheric chlorination reaction for flexible production of tetrachloroethane and pentachloroethane显示文摘In this paper, we developed a novel process integrating vacuum distillation with atmospheric chlorination reaction(VD-ACR) to realize the flexible production of tetrachloroethane(TeCA) and pentachloroethane(PCA)from 1,2-dichloroethane(DCA). During the simulation, the distillation column and reactors were operated for separation and chlorination respectively under variable pressures and temperatures. It is interesting to note that VD-ACR processes producing pure TeCA or PCA can exhibit the similar configuration parameters after optimization, which enables the flexible production of TeCA and PCA with different molar ratios via changing operating parameters. The molar ratio of TeC A/PCA can be fine-tuned within the range of 0.9:0.1-0.1:0.9 through adjusting the amount of chlorine pumped into side reactors, giving rise to the increase of the heat duty of reboiler by five times. A pilot-scale experiment was then operated based-upon this VD-ACR process and the result matched well with the simulation. Therefore, the VD-ACR model presented in this study will be beneficial for the industrial-scale flexible production of TeCA and PCA from DCA.Xian Chen Yunpeng Li Ge Xu Jihai Tang Zhuxiu Zhang Ming Chen Zhaoyang Fei Mifen Cui Xu Qiao 2018Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2018,26,4:2

A wake-up call: signaling in regulating ornamental geophytes dormancy显示文摘Ornamental geophytes are a group of important flowers worldwide. As perennial plants, geophytes go through several rounds of life cycle under seasonal climates. The dormant trait of underground modified organs in geophytes is critical for the process of storage, planting as well as breeding.Although the dormant physiology in geophytes is complex and largely unknown, several advancements have been achieved in this field. Here,we review the knowledge on the role of environmental factors, endogenous hormones, carbohydrates, and epigenetics in the regulation of geophytes dormancy release(GDR).We also discuss dormancy release(DR)methods and their roles in geophytes, including small molecular chemicals and wounding treatments.Yajie Zhao Chang Liu Juanjuan Sui Jiahui Liang Jintao Ge Jingru Li Wenqiang Pan Mingfang Yi Yunpeng Du Jian Wu 2022Ornamental Plant Research2022,2,1:0
Queue estimation for isolated signalized intersections in intelligent vehicle-infrastructure cooperation systems显示文摘Dear editor,Traffic jams have become an important issue in urban networks, particularly for arterial roads [1]. The need for more efficient traffic control techniques has become critical. One good solution is the so-called intelligent vehicleinfrastructure cooperation systems (i-VICS), which assumes autonomous vehicles in the traffic flow (i.e., a mixed traffic flow). The aim of i-VICS is to achieve cooperative vehicle intersection control, i.e., to enable cooperation between vehicles and traffic signals, for safe and efficient intersection operations.Yunpeng WANG Ge GUO Wei YUE 2021Science China(Information Sciences)2021,64,4:0
Safety and activity of WX-0593(Iruplinalkib)in patients with ALK-or ROS1-rearranged advanced non-small cell lung cancer:a phase 1 dose-escalation and dose-expansion trial显示文摘WX-0593(Iruplinalkib)is a novel, highly selective oral ALK and ROS1 tyrosine kinase inhibitor(TKI).In this study, the safety, antitumor activity, and pharmacokinetics of WX-0593 were evaluated in advanced non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)patients with ALK or ROS1 rearrangement. In the dose-escalation phase and dose-expansion phase, patients were treated with WX-0593 until disease progression, unacceptable toxicity,or subject withdrawal. In the dose-escalation phase, the primary endpoints were maximum tolerated dose(MTD),dose-limiting toxicity(DLT),and safety assessed by investigators. In the dose-expansion phase, the primary endpoint was objective response rate(ORR)assessed by investigators.Between September 25,2017 and October 15,2018,a total of 153 patients received WX-0593 treatment. Two dose-limiting toxicities(DLTs)including one grade 3 QT interval prolonged and one grade 2 chronic heart failure were reported at the dose of 300 mg in one patient.MTD was not reached.Overall,140 of the 152(92%)patients experienced treatment-related adverse events(TRAEs)and 35 of the 152(23%)patients had TRAEs≥grade 3.The overall ORR was 59.3%(32 of 54)for the dose-escalation phase and 56.6%(56 of 99)for the dose-expansion phase. For patients who were ALK-rearranged and ALK TKI naive, the ORR were 81.0%(17 of 21)in the dose-escalation phase and 76.3%(29 of 38)in the dose-expansion phase, and for patients who previously received crizotinib as the only ALK TKI,the ORR were 38.1%(8 of 21)and 45.7%(21 of 46)for the two phases, respectively. For patients who were ROS1-rearranged,the ORR were 30.0%(3 of 10)in the dose-escalation phase and 44.4%(4 of 9)in the dose-expansion phase.WX-0593 showed favorable safety and promising antitumor activity in advanced NSCLC patients with ALK or ROS1 rearrangement.Yuankai Shi Jian Fang Xuezhi Hao Shucai Zhang Yunpeng Liu Lin Wang Jianhua Chen Yi Hu Xiaosheng Hang Juan Li Chunling Liu Yiping Zhang Zhehai Wang Yanping Hu Kangsheng Gu Jian’an Huang Liangming Zhang Jinlu Shan Weiwei Ouyang Yanqiu Zhao Wu Zhuang Yan Yu Jun Zhao Helong Zhang Pei Lu Weidong Li Meimei Si Mingjing Ge Huaize Geng 2022Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,2:0
Comparison of protective effects of electroacupuncture and moxibustion at Zusanli(ST 36)on perinatal nicotine exposure-induced lung phenotype in rat offspring显示文摘Objective:To compare the effects of electroacupuncture(EA)and moxibustion at Zusanli(ST 36)on the lung phenotype of rat offspring exposed to nicotine during the perinatal period. Methods:Pregnant Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into 4 groups:the control group(saline only),the model group(nicotine only),the EA group(nicotine+EA at ST 36 acupoints bilaterally),and the moxibustion group(nicotine+moxibustion at ST 36 acupoints bilaterally).n=6 rats per group. On postnatal day 21,the body weight, lung weight, and pulmonary function were determined and lung morphometry was performed.Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma andβ-catenin levels in the lung tissue of offspring were also determined. Results:Perinatal nicotine exposure(PNE)results in decreased body and lung weights of offspring rats, abnormal lung tissue morphology, and significantly altered pulmonary function, showing an increase in total airway resistance and a decrease in tidal volume, minute ventilation, total airway compliance, and peak expiratory flow.Bilateral EA at ST 36 acupoints could block all of these perinatal nicotine-induced effects.Although moxibustion also had protective effects in nicotine-induced offspring lungs, some of these effects did not reach statistical significance,e.g.,protection against the upregulation ofβ-catenin,the downregulation of PPARγsignaling, and the increase in peak expiratory flow. Conclusion:Maternal EA at ST 36 blocked the PNE-induced changes in key developmental signaling pathways, prevented the PNE-induced changes in lung morphology, and protected pulmonary function.Moxibustion at ST 36 showed similar but weaker protective effects against the PNE-induced changes in the exposed offspring. It is important to note that the mechanism underlying the protective effects of moxibustion at ST 36 may be different from those of EA at ST 36,and further research is needed to understand these differences.Yunpeng Ge Yitian Liu Guozhen Zhao Reiko Sakurai Yana Xie Tianyu Shi Yang Fang Jiajia Wang Virender K.Rehan Bo Ji 2023Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2023,10,3:0
Observatory science with eXTP显示文摘In this White Paper we present the potential of the enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry(eXTP) mission for studies related to Observatory Science targets. These include flaring stars, supernova remnants, accreting white dwarfs, low and high mass X-ray binaries, radio quiet and radio loud active galactic nuclei, tidal disruption events, and gamma-ray bursts. eXTP will be excellently suited to study one common aspect of these objects: their often transient nature. Developed by an international Consortium led by the Institute of High Energy Physics of the Chinese Academy of Science, the eXTP mission is expected to be launched in the mid 2020s.Jean J.M.in 't Zand Enrico Bozzo JinLu Qu Xiang-Dong Li Lorenzo Amati Yang Chen Immacolata Donnarumma Victor Doroshenko Stephen A.Drake Margarita Hernanz Peter A.Jenke Thomas J.Maccarone Simin Mahmoodifar Domitilla de Martino Alessandra De Rosa Elena M.Rossi Antonia Rowlinson Gloria Sala Giulia Stratta Thomas M.Tauris Joern Wilms XueFeng Wu Ping Zhou Iván Agudo Diego Altamirano Jean-Luc Atteia Nils A.andersson M.Cristina Baglio David R.Ballantyne Altan Baykal Ehud Behar Tomaso Belloni Sudip Bhattacharyya Stefano Bianchi Anna Bilous Pere Blay Joao Braga Sφren Brandt Edward F.Brown Niccolo Bucciantini Luciano Burderi Edward M.Cackett Riccardo Campana Sergio Campana Piergiorgio Casella Yuri Cavecchi Frank Chambers Liang Chen Yu-Peng Chen Jér?me Chenevez Maria Chernyakova ChiChuan Jin Riccardo Ciolfi Elisa Costantini Andrew Cumming Antonino D'Aì Zi-Gao Dai Filippo D'Ammando Massimiliano De Pasquale Nathalie Degenaar Melania Del Santo Valerio D'Elia Tiziana Di Salvo Gerry Doyle Maurizio Falanga XiLong Fan Robert D.Ferdman Marco Feroci Federico Fraschetti Duncan K.Galloway Angelo F.Gambino Poshak Gandhi MingYu Ge Bruce Gendre Ramandeep Gill Diego G?tz Christian Gouiffès Paola Grandi Jonathan Granot Manuel Güdel Alexander Heger Craig O.Heinke Jeroen Homan Rosario Iaria Kazushi Iwasawa Luca Izzo Long Ji Peter G.Jonker Jordi José Jelle S.Kaastra Emrah Kalemci Oleg Kargaltsev Nobuyuki Kawai Laurens Keek Stefanie Komossa Ingo Kreykenbohm Lucien Kuiper Devaky Kunneriath Gang Li En-Wei Liang Manuel Linares Francesco Longo FangJun Lu Alexander A.Lutovinov Denys Malyshev Julien Malzac Antonios Manousakis Ian McHardy Missagh Mehdipour YunPeng Men Mariano Méndez Roberto P.Mignani Romana Mikusincova M.Coleman Miller Giovanni Miniutti Christian Motch Joonas Nättilä Emanuele Nardini Torsten Neubert Paul T.O'Brien Mauro Orlandini Julian P.Osborne Luigi Pacciani Stéphane Paltani Maurizio Paolillo Iossif E.Papadakis Biswajit Paul Alberto Pellizzoni Uria Peretz Miguel A.Pérez Torres Emanuele Perinati Chanda Prescod-Weinstein Pablo Reig Alessandro Riggio Jerome Rodriguez Pablo Rodríguez-Gil Patrizia Romano Agata Rózańska Takanori Sakamoto Tuomo Salmi Ruben Salvaterra andrea Sanna andrea Santangelo Tuomas Savolainen Stéphane Schanne Hendrik Schatz LiJing Shao andy Shearer Steven N.Shore Ben W.Stappers Tod E.Strohmayer Valery F.Suleimanov Jirí Svoboda F.-K.Thielemann Francesco Tombesi Diego F.Torres Eleonora Torresi Sara Turriziani andrea Vacchi Stefano Vercellone Jacco Vink Jian-Min Wang JunFeng Wang Anna L.Watts ShanShan Weng Nevin N.Weinberg Peter J.Wheatley Rudy Wijnands Tyrone E.Woods Stan E.Woosley ShaoLin Xiong YuPeng Xu Zhen Yan George Younes WenFei Yu Feng Yuan Luca Zampieri Silvia Zane andrzej A.Zdziarski Shuang-Nan Zhang Shu Zhang Shuo Zhang Xiao Zhang Michael Zingale 2019Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2019,62,2:0
