| 3 | Effects of Huatan Tongluo decoction on vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2 expression in synovial tissues of rats with collagen-induced arthritis显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To determine the therapeutic effect and potential mechanism of Huatan Tongluo decoction on rats with collagen-induced arthritis.METHODS: Forty specific pathogen-free Wistar rats were selected, and 10 were randomly selected as the control(group 1). The remaining rats were injected intradermally with emulsified type Ⅱ bovine collagen at the tail base and back, followed by a booster 7 d post first immunization. After establishing collagen-induced arthritis(CIA), rats were randomly divided into three groups(n = 10). The rats were treated orally for 30 d as follows: group 1, saline; group 2, model(saline); group 3, tripterygium polyglycoside(TP; 7.81 mg/kg, positive control);group 4, Huatan Tongluo decoction(HTTL; 7.5 g/kg). Body weight, ankle swelling and arthritis index were measured over the course of the study. The rats were sacrificed 30 d after treatment. Morphological changes in the synovium were observed by hematoxylin and eosin staining. Pannus formation and synovial thickness in the left ankle were observed by color Doppler ultrasoundVascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) and VEGFR2 protein levels were measured by immunohistochemistry.VEGF/VEGFR2 mRNA levels were measured by real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction.RESULTS: Compared with the model group, a significantly lower arthritis index was observed in the positive control group(P < 0.05) and HTTL group(P < 0.01), after treatment. Both positive control and HTTL reduced intra-articular pannus formation and synovial thickening. | 6 | Sort-based relay selection algorithm for decode-and-forward relay system显示文摘In this paper, a sort-based relay selection algorithm is proposed for decode-and-forward wireless relay systems. The proposed algorithm can reduce computational complexity and system overhead in the relay selection for practical decode-and-forward wireless relay systems with multiple sources and multiple relays. This would be a very important improvement. Firstly, the sufficient and necessary conditions for a relay to be feasible to a source are derived. By adopting relay transmission via its feasible relay, the source can improve channel capacity compared to direct transmission. Then, a sort-based relay selection algorithm is proposed based on the sufficient and necessary conditions. In the proposed algorithm, each relay makes decision on its feasibility individually, but the final source-relay paring decision is made in a centralized manner. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can provide considerable system performance improvement over the existing algorithm. | 11 | Enhanced EVD based channel estimation and pilot decontamination for Massive MIMO networks显示文摘The enhanced eigenvalue decomposition(EEVD) based channel estimation algorithm, which could solve the pilot contamination problem in massive multiple-input and multiple-output(Massive MIMO) channel estimation when the number of antennas at base stations(NABT) tends to infinity, is proposed in this paper. The algorithm is based on the close relationship between covariance matrix of received pilot signal and the channel fast fading coefficient matrix, i.e. the latter is the eigenvector matrix of the former when NABT tends to infinity. Therefore, we can get a set of normalized base vectors from the eigenvalue decomposition(EVD) of sample covariance matrix in practical Massive MIMO networks. By multiplying the received pilot signal with conjugate transpose of normalized base vector matrix, the channel matrix is projected to a lower dimensional matrix, and the intra-cell and inter-cell interference can be eliminated completely when NABT tends to infinity. Thus, we only need to estimate the lower dimensional projected matrix during the channel estimation. Simulation results show that the mean square error(MSE) performance of channel estimation is improved with approximately two orders of magnitude when the signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) is 40 d B, compared with EVD based channel estimation algorithm. And the signal-to-interference ratio(SIR) is improved greatly as well. | 14 | TMAHS:a truthful multi-unit double auction framework for heterogeneous spectrum in secondary market显示文摘Auction was widely used to tackle spectrum allocation and sharing in the secondary market under the condition of spectrum scarcity. In real communication system, such as broadband communication, the utilization of spectrum resource is various because of different requirements and complex application scenarios. So, these schemes cannot be directly applied to the above wireless communication system. To solve this problem, a new model where sellers/buyers can sell/buy multi-unit for heterogeneous spectrum was proposed and a truthful multi-unit double auction framework was designed for heterogeneous spectrum trading. A valuation function is first applied to represent the buyer's true valuation of the sub-band and reflect the buyer's satisfaction degree and a novel concept termed ‘virtual player' was introduced. Then the buyer group was constructed based on the conflict graph to reuse the same spectrum among interference-free buyers in both spatial and temporal domains. The winner determination strategy and algorithm of clearing price were designed elaborately. According to the theoretical analysis, the scheme can satisfy three critical economic properties: truthfulness, individual rationality, and budget balance. Finally, simulation results show that the proposed scheme can achieve better user satisfaction, auction efficiency and spectrum reuse rate for the real communication system.
