| 1 | A review of recent advances in selective catalytic NO_x reduction reactor technologies显示文摘Research on NO_x treatment is extensive in recent years due to growing environmental awareness.Selective catalytic reduction(SCR) of NO_x,as a proven technology,offers higher NO_x control efficiency than many other NO_x treatment methods.The present work reviews the recent development of SCR reactor technologies.Firstly,catalysts and mechanism of different SCRs were briefly summarized.Different SCR reactors,e.g.structured reactor,fluidized bed reactor and moving bed reactor,were then discussed.As a more advanced technology,multifunctional reactors were also developed for SCR process and could be divided into two categories:decoupled adsorption-reaction process and combined SCR system.The mechanism and properties of these processes were discussed in detail.Some recommendations were given for the future work in SCR reactor design.SCR reactor technology for emerging energy processes was also addressed,such as oxyfuel combustion and biofuel conversion processes,which put forward new requirements for SCR technologies and also open new opportunities for advanced design of SCR reactors. | Xingxing Cheng Xiaotao T.Bi | 2014 | Particuology2014,12,5: | 23 |
| 2 | Polyethylene Oxide-Coated Electrospun Polyimide Fibrous Seperator for High-Performance Lithium-Ion Battery显示文摘A polyethylene oxide(PEO)-coated polyimide(PI) membrane was prepared by electrospinning method followed by a dip-coating and drying process for high-performance lithium-ion batteries(LIB). Semicrystal PEO was covered on the surface of the fibers and partially enmeshed in PI matrix, which formed unique porous structures. The pores with an average size of 4.1 μm and a porosity of 90% served as ion transport channels. Compared with the cell with Celgard 2400 membrane, the half-cell using PEO-coated PI membrane as a separator exhibits excellent electrochemical performance both at room temperature and at low temperature. The electrolyte uptaking rate of PEO-coated PI membrane was 170% and the ionic conductivity was 3.83 × 10^(–3)S cm^(–1). PEO-coated PI membrane possessed 5.3 V electrochemical window.The electrode–electrolyte interfacial resistance was 62.4 Ω. The capacity retention ratios with PEOcoated PI membrane were 86.4% at 5 C and 73.5% at 10 C at 25 ℃ and 75% at 5 C at 0 ℃. Furthermore,the cell using the separator demonstrates excellent capacity retention over cycling. | 3 | Glycerol carbonate synthesis from glycerol and dimethyl carbonate using guanidine ionic liquids显示文摘A large number of surplus glycerol from the biodiesel production can be used as renewable feedstock to produce glycerol carbonate. In this paper, a series of guanidine-based ionic liquids were synthesized to catalyze the transesterification of glycerol and dimethyl carbonate. The tunable basicity and the anion–cation cooperative effect were responsible for the obtained results. The [TMG][TFE] showed the best activity turnover frequency(TOF)of 1754.0 h^(-1), glycerol(GL) conversion of 91.8%, glycerol carbonate(GC) selectivity of 95.5%) at 80 °C with 0.1 mol% catalyst for 30 min. | 4 | Adsorption and Regeneration of Volatile Organic Compounds(VOCs)on Coal-Based Activated Carbon by Ferric Nitrate Modification显示文摘In this study,the Heishan coal was used to prepare a series of activated carbon(AC)samples via a vapor deposition method.The effects of the Fe(NO_(3))3/coal weight ratio on the physicochemical properties of the activated carbon were systematically investigated,and the AC samples were analyzed by the N2 adsorption-desorption technique,the scanning electron microscopy,the X-ray diffraction,the Raman spectroscopy,and the Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy.Furthermore,the adsorption properties of ethyl acetate were investigated.The results indicated that as the Fe(NO_(3))3/coal mass ratio increased from 1:8 to 1:2,the specific surface area,the total pore volume and the micropore volume initially increased and then decreased.The specific surface area increased from 560.86 m^(2)/g to 685.90 m^(2)/g,and then decreased to 299.56 m^(2)/g.The total pore volume and micropore volume increased from 0.29 cm^(3)/g and 0.17 cm^(3)/g to 0.30 cm^(3)/g and 0.22 cm^(3)/g,and then decreased to 0.16 cm^(3)/g and 0.10 cm^(3)/g,respectively.The optimized ratio was 1:8.During the activation process,iron ions infiltrated the activated carbon to promote the development of the pore structure,the pore size of which was between 2.5 nm and 3 nm in daimeter.This approach could enhance the capacity for adsorption of ethyl acetate.It is worth noting that the ACs displaying the largest specific surface area and total pore volume(685.90 m^(2)/g and 0.30 cm^(3)/g)were formed under the optimized activation conditions(950℃,20%(volume)of CO_(2),ratio 1:5),and the maximum AC capacity for adsorption of ethyl acetate was 962.62 mg/g.After seven repeated thermal regeneration experiments,the saturated AC adsorption capacity was still above 90%. | Jin Chunjiang Chen Huimin Wang Luyuan Cheng Xingxing Sun Rongfeng | 2021 | China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2021,23,3: | 4 |
| 5 | Identification of stably expressed QTL for resistance to black shank disease in tobacco(Nicotiana tabacum L.) line Beinhart 1000-1显示文摘Cigar line Beinhart 1000-1 has effective durable resistance to black shank(BS) and is considered one of the most resistant sources in tobacco(Nicotiana tabacum L.). To investigate the inheritance and identification of stable quantitative trait loci(QTL) for BS response, F2,BC1 F2 individuals and BC1 F2:3 lines were produced from a cross between Beinhart 1000-1 and Xiaohuangjin 1025. Two major quantitative trait loci(M-QTL) named qBS7 and qBS17 were repeatedly detected under different conditions. QTL qBS7 was mapped to the region between PT30174 and PT60621 and explained 17.40%–25.60% of the phenotypic variance under different conditions. The other QTL qBS17 in interval PT61564–PT61538 of linkage group 17 was detected in a BC1 F2 population in the field and in BC1 F2:3 in both the field and at the seedling stage, explaining 6.90% to 11.60% of the phenotypic variance. | 6 | Genetic diversity assessment of a set of introduced mung bean accessions(Vigna radiata L.)显示文摘Genetic resources from other countries or regions play an important role in broadening the genetic background of local breeding varieties. Here we describe observations on the adaptability of mung bean germplasm obtained from the United States Department of Agriculture and their genetic diversity assessment using SSR markers. Several accessions were shown to be mixtures,based on their phenotypes for some characters. Most accessions were able to complete their lifecycles when grown in Beijing, China, making them ideal for crossbreeding without day length control. High diversity was revealed by the SSR markers, with an average of 4.2 alleles per locus and a PIC value of 0.650 per locus. STRUCTURE analysis divided the accessions into six groups.There was no obvious trend of accessions forming groups according to their geographical origin,owing mainly to germplasm exchange and an uneven distribution of accessions. | 7 | A lake ice phenology dataset for the Northern Hemisphere based on passive microwave remote sensing显示文摘Lake ice phenology(LIP)is an essential indicator of climate change and helps with understanding of the regional characteristics of climate change impacts.Ground observation records and remote sensing retrieval products of lake ice phenology are abundant for Europe,North America,and the Tibetan Plateau,but there is a lack of data for inner Eurasia.In this work,enhanced-resolution passive microwave satellite data(PMW)were used to investigate the Northern Hemisphere Lake Ice Phenology(PMW LIP).The Freeze Onset(FO),Complete Ice Cover(CIC),Melt Onset(MO),and Complete Ice Free(CIF)dates were derived for 753 lakes,including 409 lakes for which ice phenology retrievals were available for the period 1978 to 2020 and 344 lakes for which these were available for 2002 to 2020.Verification of the PMW LIP using ground records gave correlation coefficients of 0.93 and 0.84 for CIC and CIF,respectively,and the corresponding values of the RMSE were 11.84 and 10.07 days.The lake ice phenology in this dataset was significantly correlated(P<0.001)with that obtained from Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer(MODIS)data-the average correlation coefficient was 0.90 and the average RMSE was 7.87 days.The minimum RMSE was 4.39 days for CIF.The PMW is not affected by the weather or the amount of sunlight and thus provides more reliable data about the freezing and thawing process information than MODIS observations.The PMW LIP dataset pro-vides the basic freeze-thaw data that is required for research into lake ice and the impact of climate change in the cold regions of the Northern Hemisphere.The dataset is available at http://gffzza4c772bdab62464fh9uook9kquw0566qw.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/10.11922/sciencedb.j00076.00081. | Xingxing Wang Yubao Qiu Yixiao Zhang Juha Lemmetyinen Bin Cheng Wenshan Liang Matti Leppäranta | 2022 | Big Earth Data2022,6,4: | 2 |

| 9 | A potent PGK1 antagonist reveals PGK1 regulates the production of IL-1βand IL-6显示文摘Glycolytic metabolism enzymes have been implicated in the immunometabolism field through changes in metabolic status. PGK1 is a catalytic enzyme in the glycolytic pathway. Here, we set up a high-throughput screen platform to identify PGK1 inhibitors. DC-PGKI is an ATPcompetitive inhibitor of PGK1 with an affinity of Kd= 99.08 nmol/L. DC-PGKI stabilizes PGK1in vitro and in vivo, and suppresses both glycolytic activity and the kinase function of PGK1. In addition,DC-PGKI unveils that PGK1 regulates production of IL-1β and IL-6 in LPS-stimulated macrophages.Mechanistically, inhibition of PGK1 with DC-PGKI results in NRF2(nuclear factor-erythroid factor 2-related factor 2, NFE2L2) accumulation, then NRF2 translocates to the nucleus and binds to the proximity region of Il-1β and Il-6 genes, and inhibits LPS-induced expression of these genes. DC-PGKI ameliorates colitis in the dextran sulfate sodium(DSS)-induced colitis mouse model. | 11 | High-speed optical secure communication with an external noise source and an internal time-delayed feedback loop显示文摘We propose and experimentally demonstrate a novel physical layer encryption scheme for high-speed optical communication. A 10 Gb/s on-off keying signal is secretly transmitted over 100 km standard single-mode fiber.The intensity-modulated message is secured by the encryption mechanism, which is composed of an external noise source and an internal time-delayed feedback loop. The external noise serves as an entropy source with sufficient randomness. The feedback loop structure in the transmitter introduces a time-domain encryption key space, and a corresponding open-loop configuration at the receiver side is used for synchronization and decryption.Experiment results show the effectiveness of the proposed scheme. For a legitimate terminal, bit error rate below10-8 can be obtained. Decryption degradations with the mismatch of different hardware parameters are researched. The time delay in the feedback loop provides a sensitive encryption key. For other hardware parameters,the system is robust enough for synchronization. Meanwhile, the time-delay signature of the loop is able to be well concealed by the external noise. Moreover, the proposed scheme can support density wavelength division multiplexing transmission with a relatively simple structure. | 18 | Fewer is more:efficient object detection in large aerial images显示文摘Current mainstream object detection methods for large aerial images usually divide large images into patches and then exhaustively detect the objects of interest on all patches,no matter whether there exist objects or not.This paradigm,although effective,is inefficient because the detectors have to go through all patches,severely hindering the inference speed.This paper presents an objectness activation network(OAN) to help detectors focus on fewer patches but achieve more efficient inference and more accurate results,enabling a simple and effective solution to object detection in large images.In brief,OAN is a light fully-convolutional network for judging whether each patch contains objects or not,which can be easily integrated into many object detectors and jointly trained with them end-to-end.We extensively evaluate our OAN with five advanced detectors.Using OAN,all five detectors acquire more than 30.0% speed-up on three large-scale aerial image datasets,meanwhile with consistent accuracy improvements.On extremely large Gaofen-2 images(29200 × 27620 pixels),our OAN improves the detection speed by 70.5%.Moreover,we extend our OAN to driving-scene object detection and 4K video object detection,boosting the detection speed by 112.1% and 75.0%,respectively,without sacrificing the accuracy. | Xingxing XIE Gong CHENG Qingyang LI Shicheng MIAO Ke LI Junwei HAN | 2024 | Science China(Information Sciences)2024,67,1: | 1 |
