| 1 | Ketamine induces tau hyperphosphorylation at serine 404 in the hippocampus of neonatal rats显示文摘Male Wistar 7-day-old rats were injected with 40 mg/kg ketamine intraperitoneally, followed by three additional injections of 20 mg/kg ketamine each upon restoration of the righting reflex. Neonatal rats injected with equivalent volumes of saline served as controls. Hippocampal samples were collected at 1, 7 or 14 days following administration. Electron microscopy showed that neuronal structure changed noticeably following ketamine treatment. Specifically, microtubular structure became irregular and disorganized. Quantitative real time-PCR revealed that phosphorylated tau mRNA was upregulated after ketamine. Western blot analysis demonstrated that phosphorylated tau levels at serine 396 initially decreased at 1 day after ketamine injection, and then gradually returned to control values. At 14 days after injection, levels of phosphorylated tau were higher in the ketamine group than in the control group. Tau protein phosphorylated at serine 404 significantly increased after ketamine injection, and then gradually decreased with time. However, the levels of tau protein at serine 404 were significantly greater in the ketamine group than in the control group until 14 days. | 9 | An in-situ spectroscopy investigation of alkali metal interaction mechanism with the imide functional group显示文摘Organic anode materials have attracted considerable interest owing to their high tunability by adopting various active functional groups.However,the interaction mechanisms between the alkali metals and the active functional groups in host materials have been rarely studied systematically.Here,a widely used organic semiconductor of perylene-3,4,9,10-tetracarboxylic diimide(PTCDI)was selected as a model system to investigate how alkali metals interact with imide functional groups and induce changes in chemical and electronic structures of PTCDI.The interaction at the alkali/PTCDI interface was probed by in-situ X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy(UPS),synchrotron-based near edge X-ray absorption fine structure(NEXAFS),and corroborated by density functional theory(DFT)calculations.Our results indicate that the alkali metal replaces the hydrogen atoms in the imide group and interact with the imide nitrogen of PTCDI.Electron transfer induced gap states and downward band-bending like effects are identified on the alkali-deposited PTCDI surface.It was found that Na shows a stronger electron transfer effect than Li.Such a model study of alkali insertion/intercalation in PTCDI gives insights for the exploration of the potential host materials for alkali storage applications. | Xu Lian Zhirui Ma Zhonghan Zhang Jinlin Yang Shuo Sun Chengding Gu Yuan Liu Honghe Ding Jun Hu Xu Cao Junfa Zhu Shuzhou Li Wei Chen | 2020 | Nano Research2020,13,12: | 0 |
| 10 | Rapid and fine tailoring longitudinal surface plasmon resonances of gold nanorods by end-selective oxidation显示文摘Facile achievement of gold nanorods(AuNRs) with controllable longitudinal surface plasmon resonance(LSPR) is of great importance for their applications in various fields.The LSPR of AuNRs is sensitive to their aspect ratio,which is still hard to be precisely tuned by direct synthesis.In this work,we report a simple approach for end-selective etching of AuNRs by a rapid oxidation process with Au(Ⅲ) in cetyltrimethylammonium bromide(CTAB) solution at a mild temperature.The LSPR wavelength and the length of AuNRs blue shifted linearly as a function of the amount of Au(Ⅲ),while the diameter of Au NRs remained nearly constant.The oxidative rate is tempe rature dependent,and the oxidative process for a desired LSPR can be accomplished within 15 min at 60℃.Further investigations indicated that Br determine the occurrence of the oxidation between AuNRs and Au(Ⅲ),and a small amount of surfactant chain(CTA+) is crucial for stabilizing AuNRs.This method presents a quick but robust strategy for acquiring AuNRs with an arbitrary intermediate LSPR wavelength using the same starting AuNRs,and can be a powerful tool for subsequent applications. | Wenhan Li Zhirui Guo Qiuyuan Tai Yawen Li Yefei Zhu Tingting Bai | 2020 | Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,9: | 0 |
