1A new integrated energy-saving scheme in green Fiber-Wireless(FiWi) access network显示文摘Energy savings in Internet have been regarded as a significant technical issue for academic and industrial community.Particularly,access network accounts for more than 70%of the total energy consumption of Internet.As a promising access technique,Fiber-Wireless(FiWi)network not only enables the cost-effective broadband access,but also provides more opportunities for energy savings.Previous works mostly focused on the energy savings in the optical back-end of FiWi.Generally,they extended the Optical Network Unit(ONU)sleep mechanisms initially designed for Passive Optical Network(PON)to FiWi by combining with the wireless rerouting.However,most of these works left the energy savings in the wireless front-end untouched.In fact,when one or more ONUs in the network is/are sleeping,many wireless components remain idle or underutilized which cause a lot of energy waste.Motivated by this,we propose a new integrated Wireless-Optical Energy Savings(WOES)scheme for the comprehensive energy savings in FiWi.The WOES scheme consists of two interactive modules,Energy-Efficient ONU Management(EEOM)and Energy-Aware Topology Configuration(EATC).EEOM aims at the energy savings in the optical back-end by putting the low-load ONUs into sleep state.A pair of thresholds is introduced into EEOM to maintain the states of ONUs.As soon as ONUs states change,EATC will reconfigure the wireless topology by putting the idle Radio Interfaces(RIs)into standby state,thus minimizing the energy consumption of the wireless front-end.Simulation results show that the WOES scheme can reduce the energy consumption significantly with just a little performance degradation in network throughput and end-to-end delay.LIU YeJun GUO Lei ZHANG LinCong YANG JiangZi 2014Science China(Information Sciences)2014,57,6:7
2Linear goal programming approach to obtaining the weights of intuitionistic fuzzy ordered weighted averaging operator显示文摘The multiple attribute decision making problems are studied, in which the information about attribute weights is partly known and the attribute values take the form of intuitionistic fuzzy numbers. The operational laws of intuitionistic fuzzy numbers are introduced, and the score function and accuracy function are presented to compare the intuitionistic fuzzy numbers. The intuitionistic fuzzy ordered weighted averaging (IFOWA) operator which is an extension of the well-known ordered weighted averaging (OWA) operator is investigated to aggregate the intuitionistic fuzzy information. In order to determine the weights of intuitionistic fuzzy ordered weighted averaging operator, a linear goal programming procedure is proposed for learning the weights from data. 3Single cell analysis reveals inhibition of angiogenesis attenuates the progression of heterotopic ossification in Mkx^(−/−)mice显示文摘Tendon heterotopic ossification(HO)is characterized by bone formation inside tendon tissue,which severely debilitates people in their daily life.Current therapies fail to promote functional tissue repair largely due to our limited understanding of HO pathogenesis.Here,we investigate the pathological mechanism and propose a potential treatment method for HO.Immunofluorescence assays showed that the Mohawk(MKX)expression level was decreased in human tendon HO tissue,coinciding with spontaneous HO and the upregulated expression of osteochondrogenic and angiogenic genes in the tendons of Mkx^(−/−)mice.Single-cell RNA sequencing analyses of wild-type and Mkx^(−/−)tendons identified three cell types and revealed the excessive activation of osteochondrogenic genes during the tenogenesis of Mkx^(−/−)tendon cells.Single-cell analysis revealed that the gene expression program of angiogenesis,which is strongly associated with bone formation,was activated in all cell types during HO.Moreover,inhibition of angiogenesis by the small-molecule inhibitor BIBF1120 attenuated bone formation and angiogenesis in the Achilles tendons of both Mkx mutant mice and a rat traumatic model of HO.These findings provide new insights into the cellular mechanisms of tendon HO and highlight the inhibition of angiogenesis with BIBF1120 as a potential treatment strategy for HO.Junxin Lin Yuwei Yang Wenyan Zhou Chao Dai Xiao Chen Yuanhao Xie Shan Han Huanhuan Liu Yejun Hu Chenqi Tang Varitsara Bunpetch Dandan Zhang Yishan Chen Xiaohui Zou Di Chen Wanlu Liu Hongwei Ouyang 2022Bone Research2022,10,4:1
4Survivable Routing Protocol for Green Wireless Mesh Networks Based on Energy Efficiency显示文摘This paper proposes a new Energyefficient Survivable Routing Protocol(ESRP)based on solar energy and wind mixed for power supply in green wireless mesh networks(WMNs).The ESRP combines hop penalty strategy and flooding delaying strategy to improve the performances of traditional routing protocol.This paper uses QualNet to simulate and verify the performances of proposed ESRP.Compared with the traditional routing protocol,the simulation results show that the energy utilization of ESRP is more efficient by 13%.At the same time,ESRP is more load-balanced to postpone the appearance of the first energy depletion node and reduce the number of energy depletion nodes,and thus it effectively improves network survivability.YU Yinpeng PENG Yuhuai LIU Yejun GUO Lei SONG Meng 2014China Communications2014,11,8:1

10Some properties of linguistic preference relation and its ranking in group decision making显示文摘The group decision making problem with linguistic preference relations is studied.The concept of additive consistent linguistic preference relation is defined,and then some properties of the additive consistent linguistic preference relation are studied. 12Connection availability based protection algorithm in wireless-optical broadband access network显示文摘The hybrid Wireless-Optical Broadband Access Network(WOBAN)provides a new and promising architecture for broadband access network by combining the beneficial properties of wireless and optical access technologies.To avoid huge data loss,WOBAN needs to be designed with a high availability guarantee.The purpose of this paper is to protect the Passive Optical Network at the back-end using the backup radios in Wireless Mesh Network at the front-end.The proposed protection scheme is based on a connection availability model.First,we assigned several backup Optical Network Units(ONUs)for each primary ONU not satisfying the availability requirement of primary optical connection.Under the availability requirement of backup optical connection,each backup ONU needed to reserve the residual capacity as the backup capacity to fully protect the traffic demand of its primary ONU.Then,we selectively deployed the additional radio interfaces as the backup radios for the wireless routers in the front-end under the availability requirement of backup wireless connection,in order to establish the wireless-backup-path between each pair of primary and backup ONUs.Each backup radio on the wireless-backup-path will retain the backup radio capacity for rerouting traffic,so as to decrease the possibility of traffic block in case of failure.We aimed to design efficient heuristic algorithms and yield suboptimal solutions for minimizing the consumption of backup ONU capacity and the cost of backup radios.Simulation results demonstrate the advantage of the proposed scheme compared to previous works.LIU YeJun GUO Lei YU YinPeng LI Bing XIANG Peng DAI CuiQin 2014Science China(Information Sciences)2014,57,4:1

14Water-stable Mn-based MOF nanosheet as robust visible-light-responsive photocatalyst in aqueous solution显示文摘Development of visible-light-responsive metal-organic frameworks(MOFs) for promising solar energy conversion has inspired continuous interest, but it still suffers from poor stability especially in aqueous solution and/or under photoirradiation due to their relatively labile coordination bonds. Herein, a new synthesized layered Mn-based MOF(Mn-TBAPy-BK) and its exfoliated twodemensional nanosheets(Mn-TBAPy-NS) are revealed to be highly stable no matter in aqueous solution with wide p H region or under visible light irradiation. As expected, the exfoliated Mn-TBAPy-NS exhibits enhanced surface area, shortened charge transfer distance, and superior charge separation with respect to the bulk one. Moreover, the as-obtained nanosheets can be employed as effective building block for nanocomposite and heterostructure assembly to further promote charge separation as well as solar hydrogen production from aqueous solution under visible light. 17Risk stratification system for skin and soft tissue infections after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation:PAH risk score显示文摘Skin and soft tissue infections(SSTIs)refer to infections involving the skin,subcutaneous tissue,fascia,and muscle.In transplant populations with hematological malignancies,an immunocompromised status and the routine use of immunosuppressants increase the risk of SSTIs greatly.However,to date,the profiles and clinical outcomes of SSTIs in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(HSCT)patients remain unclear.This study included 228 patients(3.67%)who developed SSTIs within 180 days after allogeneic HSCT from January 2004 to December 2019 in Peking University People’s Hospital.The overall annual survival rate was 71.5%.We compared the differences between survivors and non-survivors a year after transplant and found that primary platelet graft failure(PPGF),comorbidities of acute kidney injury(AKI),and hospital-acquired pneumonia(HAP)were independent risk factors for death in the study population.A PPGF-AKI-HAP risk stratification system was established with a mortality risk score of 1×PPGF+1×AKI+1×HAP.The areas under the curves of internal and external validation were 0.833(95%CI 0.760–0.906)and 0.826(95%CI 0.715–0.937),respectively.The calibration plot revealed the high consistency of the estimated risks,and decision curve analysis showed considerable net benefits for patients.Shan Chong Yun He Yejun Wu Peng Zhao Xiaolu Zhu Fengrong Wang Yuanyuan Zhang Xiaodong Mo Wei Han Jingzhi Wang Yu Wang Huan Chen Yuhong Chen Xiangyu Zhao Yingjun Chang Lanping Xu Kaiyan Liu Xiaojun Huang Xiaohui Zhang 2022Frontiers of Medicine2022,16,6:0

19Exploring multiamplitude voltage modulation to improve spectrum efficiency in low-complexity visible-light communication显示文摘Owing to the recent advancements in the Internet of Things(IoT), an increasing number of IoT devices have led to frequency crowding in wireless networks. The low-complexity visible light communication(VLC) system is a promising solution for indoor frequency-crowded wireless networks owing to the ubiquity of light-emitting diodes(LEDs) and readily deployable, low-cost modulation methods. However, due to the inherent limitations of LED materials and growth of data from IoT applications, low-complexity VLC systems can barely boost the data throughput without adding complex modulations and circuits. This study aims to design and implement a spectrum-efficient, low-complexity VLC system to improve data throughput with very little cost to support indoor IoT applications. This system uses multiamplitude voltage to transmit multiple bit streams simultaneously, making it a novel system. However, it is not trivial to achieve this goal as the varying voltage can cause the LEDs to flicker. Therefore, we further propose a voltage-to-current amplifier circuit, which effectively mitigates the effects of changes in the LED’s brightness upon human eyes. Finally, we evaluate the system under different speeds, distances, and angles. 20Directional Routing Algorithm for Deep Space Optical Network显示文摘With the development of science, economy and society, the needs for research and exploration of deep space have entered a rapid and stable development stage. Deep Space Optical Network(DSON) is expected to become an important foundation and inevitable development trend of future deepspace communication. In this paper, we design a deep space node model which is capable of combining the space division multiplexing with frequency division multiplexing. Furthermore, we propose the directional flooding routing algorithm(DFRA) for DSON based on our node model. This scheme selectively forwards the data packets in the routing, so that the energy consumption can be reduced effectively because only a portion of nodes will participate the flooding routing. Simulation results show that, compared with traditional flooding routing algorithm(TFRA), the DFRA can avoid the non-directional and blind transmission. Therefore, the energy consumption in message routing will be reduced and the lifespan of DSON can also be prolonged effectively. Although the complexity of routing implementation is slightly increased compared with TFRA, the energy of nodes can be saved and the transmission rate is obviously improved in DFRA.
