| 1 | The Sunway TaihuLight supercomputer: system and applications显示文摘The Sunway Taihu Light supercomputer is the world's first system with a peak performance greater than 100 PFlops. In this paper, we provide a detailed introduction to the Taihu Light system. In contrast with other existing heterogeneous supercomputers, which include both CPU processors and PCIe-connected many-core accelerators(NVIDIA GPU or Intel Xeon Phi), the computing power of Taihu Light is provided by a homegrown many-core SW26010 CPU that includes both the management processing elements(MPEs)and computing processing elements(CPEs) in one chip. With 260 processing elements in one CPU, a single SW26010 provides a peak performance of over three TFlops. To alleviate the memory bandwidth bottleneck in most applications, each CPE comes with a scratch pad memory, which serves as a user-controlled cache. To support the parallelization of programs on the new many-core architecture, in addition to the basic C/C++and Fortran compilers, the system provides a customized Sunway Open ACC tool that supports the Open ACC2.0 syntax. | 2 | Auto-normalization algorithm for robotic precision drilling system in aircraft component assembly显示文摘A novel approach is proposed to detect the normal vector to product surface in real time for the robotic precision drilling system in aircraft component assembly, and the auto-normalization algorithm is presented based on the detection system. Firstly, the deviation between the normal vector and the spindle axis is measured by the four laser displacement sensors installed at the head of the multi-function end effector. Then, the robot target attitude is inversely solved according to the auto-normalization algorithm. Finally, adjust the robot to the target attitude via pitch and yaw rotations about the tool center point and the spindle axis is corrected in line with the normal vector simultaneously. To test and verify the auto-normalization algorithm, an experimental platform is established in which the laser tracker is introduced for accurate measurement. The results show that the deviations between the corrected spindle axis and the normal vector are all reduced to less than 0.5°, with the mean value 0.32°. | 4 | Preliminary results pertaining to coseismic displacement and preseismic strain accumulation of the Lushan M_S7.0 earthquake,as reflected by GPS surveying显示文摘This paper presents the coseismic displacement and preseismic deformation fields of the Lushan MS7.0 earthquake that occurred on April 20,2013.The results are based on GPS observations along the Longmenshan fault and within its vicinity.The coseismic displacement and preseismic GPS results indicate that in the strain release of this earthquake,the thrust rupture is dominant and the laevorotation movement is secondary.Furthermore,we infer that any possible the rupture does not reach the earth’s surface,and the seismogenic fault is most likely one fault to the east of the Guanxian-Anxian fault.Some detailed results are obtainable.(1)The southern segment of the Longmenshan fault is locked preceding the Lushan earthquake.After the Wenchuan earthquake,the strain accumulation rate in the southeast direction accelerates in the epicenter of the Lushan earthquake,and the angle between the principal compressional strain and the seismogenic fault indicates that a sinistral deformation background in the direction of the seismogenic fault precedes the Lushan earthquake.Therefore,it is evident that the Wenchuan MS8.0 earthquake accelerated the pregnancy of the Lushan earthquake.(2)The coseismic displacements reflected by GPS data are mainly located in a region that is 230 km(NW direction)×100 km(SW direction),and coseismic displacements larger than 10 mm lie predominantly in a100-km region(NW direction).(3)On a large scale,the coseismic displacement shows thrust characteristics,but the associated values are remarkably small in the near field(within 70 km)of the earthquake fault.Meanwhile,the thrust movement in this70-km region does not correspond with the attenuation characteristics of the strain release,indicating that the rupture of this earthquake does not reach the earth’s surface.(4)The laevorotation movements are remarkable in the 50-km region,which is located in the hanging wall that is close to the earthquake fault,and the corresponding values in this case correlate with the attenuation characteristics of the strain release. | WU YanQiang JIANG ZaiSen WANG Min CHE Shi LIAO Hua LI Qiang LI Peng YANG YongLin XIANG HePing SHAO ZhiGang WANG WuXing WEI WenXin LIU XiaoXia | 2013 | Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,28: | 33 |
| 5 | The altered expression of inflammation-related microRNAs with microRNA-155 expression correlates with Th17 differentiation in patients with acute coronary syndrome显示文摘MicroRNAs(miRNAs)are a novel class of small,non-coding RNAs that play a significant role in both inflammatory and cardiovascular diseases.Immune cells,especially T helper(Th)cells,are critical in the development of atherosclerosis and the onset of acute coronary syndrome(ACS).To assess whether inflammation-related miRNAs(such as miR-155,146a,21,125a-5p,125b,31)are involved in the imbalance of Th cell subsets in patients with ACS,we measured the expression of related miRNAs in patients with acute myocardial infarction(AMI),unstable angina(UA),stable angina(SA)and chest pain syndrome(CPS);analyzed the relationship between miRNA expression and the frequency of Th cell subsets;and observed the co-expression of miR-155 and IL-17A in peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMCs)of patients with ACS.The results showed that the expression of miR-155 in the PBMCs of patients with ACS was decreased by approximately 60%,while the expression of both miR-21 and miR-146a was increased by approximately twofold.The expression patterns of miRNAs in plasma correlated with those in PBMCs,except for miR-21,which was increased by approximately sixfold in the AMI group and showed no significant difference between the UA group and the CPS group.We also found that the expression of miR-155 inversely correlated with the frequency of Th17 cells(r520.896,P,0.01)and that miR-155 was co-expressed with IL-17A in patients with ACS.In conclusion,our study revealed the expression patterns of inflammation-related miRNAs in patients with ACS and found that miR-155 may be associated with Th17 cell differentiation. | Rui Yao Yulan Ma Youyou Du Mengyang Liao Huanhuan Li Wei Liang Jing Yuan Zhijun Ma Xian Yu Hong Xiao Yuhua Liao | 2011 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2011,8,6: | 32 |

| 9 | Field released transgenic papaya effect on soil microbial communities and enzyme activities显示文摘Soil properties, microbial communities and enzyme activities were stud ied in soil amended with replicase (RP)-transgenic or non-transgenic papaya unde r field conditions. Compared with non-transgenic papaya, significant differences (P<0.05) were observed in total nitrogen in soils grown with transgenic papaya. There were also significant differences (P<0.05) in the total number of colony forming units (CFUs) of bacteria, actinomycetes and fungi between soils amended with RP-transgenic plants and non-transgenic plants. Compared with non-transgen ic papaya, the total CFUs of bacteria, actinomycetes and fungi in soil with tran sgenic papaya increased by 0.43—1.1, 0.21—0.80 and 0.46—0.73 times respective ly. Significantly higher (P<0.05) CFUs of bacteria, actinomycetes and fungi res istant to kanamycin (Km) were obtained in soils with RP-transgenic papaya than t hose with non-transgenic papaya in all concentrations of Km. Higher resistance q uotients for Kmr (kanamycin resistant) bacteria, actinomycetes and fungi were fo und in soil planted with RP-transgenic papaya, and the resistance quotients for Kmr bacteria, actinomycetes and fungi in soils with transgenic papaya increased 1.6—4.46, 0.63—2.5 and 0.75—2.30 times. RP-transgenic papaya and non-transg enic papaya produced significantly different enzyme activities in arylsulfatase (5.4—5.9x), polyphenol oxidase (0.7—1.4x), invertase (0.5—0.79x), cellulase ( 0.23—0.35x) and phosphodiesterase (0.16—0.2x). The former three soil enzymes appeared to be more sensitive to the transgenic papaya than the others, and cou ld be useful parameters in assessing the effects of transgenic papaya. | 11 | Annual cost of illness of stomach and esophageal cancer patientsin urban and rural areas in China: A multi-center study显示文摘Objective: Stomach and esophageal cancer are imposing huge threats to the health of Chinese people whereas there were few studies on the financial burden of the two cancers.Methods: Costs per hospitalization of all patients with stomach or esophageal cancer discharged between September 2015 and August 2016 in seven cities/counties in China were collected, together with their demographic information and clinical details. Former patients in the same hospitals were sampled to collect information on annual direct non-medical cost, indirect costs and annual number of hospitalization. Annual direct medical cost was obtained by multiplying cost per hospitalization by annual number of hospitalization. Annual cost of illness(ACI)was obtained by adding the average value of annual direct medical cost, direct non-medical cost and indirect cost,stratified by sex, age, clinical stage, therapy and pathologic type in urban and rural areas. Costs per hospitalization were itemized into eight parts to calculate the proportion of each part. All costs were converted to 2016 US dollars(1 USD=6.6423 RMB).Results: Totally 19,986 cases were included, predominately male. Mean ages of stomach cancer and urban patients were lower than that of esophageal cancer and rural patients. ACI of stomach and esophageal cancer patients were $10,449 and $13,029 in urban areas, and $2,927 and $3,504 in rural areas, respectively. Greater ACI was associated with male, non-elderly patients as well as those who were in stage I and underwent surgeries.Western medicine fee took the largest proportion of cost per hospitalization.Conclusions: The ACI of stomach and esophageal cancer was tremendous and varied substantially among the population in China. Forty-one epilepsyassociated ion channel genes and their mutations are systematically reviewed. In this paper, we analyzed the genotypes, functional alterations(funotypes), and phenotypes of these mutations. Eleven genes featured loss-offunction mutations and six had gain-of-function mutations.Nine genes displayed diversified funotypes, among which a distinct funotype-phenotype correlation was found in SCN1A.
