1Broadband achromatic metalens in terahertz regime显示文摘Achromatic focusing is essential for broadband operation, which has recently been realised from visible to infrared wavelengths using a metasurface. Similarly, multi-terahertz functional devices can be encoded in a desired metasurface phase profile. However, metalenses suffer from larger chromatic aberrations because of the intrinsic dispersion of each unit element. Here, we propose an achromatic metalens with C-shaped unit elements working from 0.3 to 0.8 THz with a bandwidth of approximately 91% over the centre frequency. The designed metalens possesses a high working efficiency of more than 68% at the peak and a relatively high numerical aperture of 0.385. We further demonstrate the robustness of our Cshaped metalens, considering lateral shape deformations and deviations in the etching depth. 3Stability analysis of networked control systems with time-varying sampling periods显示文摘In this paper, we present an interval model of networked control systems with time-varying sampling periods and time-varying network-induced delays and discuss the problem of stability of networked control systems using Lyapunov stability theory. A sufficient stability condition is obtained by solving a set of linear matrix inequalities. 4Chinese Stroke Association guidelines for clinical management of cerebrovascular disorders: executive summary and 2019 update of clinical management of intracerebral haemorrhage显示文摘Aim This evidence-based guideline aims to present current and comprehensive recommendations for the diagnosis and management of spontaneous intracerebral haemorrhage(ICH).Methods A formal literature search was conducted on MEDLINE(1 January 1990 to 30 June 2019).Data were synthesised using evidence tables.The members of the working group met by teleconference to update and formulate data-based recommendations.The recommendations are graded according to levels of evidence grading algorithm of the Chinese Stroke Association.The guideline draft has been reviewed by Chinese Stroke Association Stroke Council Guideline Writing Committee.Results Evidence-based guideline is proposed for the management of patients with ICH.The focus of the guideline is divided into the diagnosis and aetiology of ICH,management of ICH in emergency department,surgical treatment for removal of hematoma,management of complications and prevention of secondary ICH.Conclusions This guideline provides a framework for ICH management.Early active and reasonable treatment may improve the clinical outcome of patients.Yong Cao Songlin Yu Qian Zhang Tao Yu Yanfang Liu Zhenghui Sun Meng Zhao Wen Wang Ji Zong Zhao 2020Stroke & Vascular Neurology2020,5,4:8
5Adjuvant radiotherapy in central hepatocellular carcinoma after narrow-margin hepatectomy:A 10-year real-world evidence显示文摘Objective:A prospective randomized control study investigated the feasibility and efficacy of adjuvant radiotherapy on patients with central hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)after narrow-margin hepatectomy(<1 cm).This study presents an updated 10-year real-world evidence to further characterize the role of adjuvant radiotherapy.Methods:Patients with central HCC after narrow-margin hepatectomy(<1 cm)were prospectively assigned to adjuvant radiotherapy group and control group.Patients'outcome,adverse events,long-term recurrence and survival rates were investigated.Results:The 1-,5-,and 10-year recurrence-free survival(RFS)rates were 81.0%,43.9%,and 38.7%,respectively in adjuvant radiotherapy group and 71.7%,35.8%,and 24.2%,respectively in control group(log-rank test,P=0.09).The 1-,5-,and 10-year overall survival(OS)rates were 96.6%,54.7%,and 42.8%,respectively in adjuvant radiotherapy group and 90.2%,55.1%,and 30.0%,respectively in control group(log-rank test,P=0.20).The 1-,5-,and 10-year RFS rates for patients with small HCC(≤5 cm)were 91.1%,51.6%,and 48.4%,respectively in adjuvant radiotherapy group and 80.0%,36.6%,and 26.6%,respectively in control group(log-rank test,P=0.03).Landmark analysis demonstrated that patients with small HCC in adjuvant radiotherapy group had a significantly improved OS in second five years after treatment in comparison to patients in control group(log-rank test,P=0.05).Conclusions:Our updated results showed a sustained clinical benefit on reducing recurrence,improving longterm survival for small central HCC by adjuvant radiotherapy after narrow-margin hepatectomy.Long-term survival data also indicated that hepatectomy is an optimal treatment for selected patients with central HCC.Weiqi Rong Weibo Yu Liming Wang Fan Wu Kai Zhang Bo Chen Chengli Miao Liguo Liu Songlin An Changcheng Tao Weihu Wang Jianxiong Wu 2020Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2020,32,5:6

7Defect engineering on carbon black for accelerated Li-S chemistry显示文摘Rationally designing sulfur hosts with the functions of confining lithium polysulfides(LiPSs)and promoting sulfur reaction kinetics is critically important to the real implementation of lithium-sulfur(Li-S)batteries.Herein,the defect-rich carbon black(CB)as sulfur host was successfully constructed through a rationally regulated defect engineering.Thus-obtained defect-rich CB can act as an active electrocatalyst to enable the sulfur redox reaction kinetics,which could be regarded as effective inhibitor to alleviate the LiPS shuttle.As expected,the cathode consisting of sulfur and defect-rich CB presents a high rate capacity of 783.8 mA·h·g^−1 at 4 C and a low capacity decay of only 0.07% per cycle at 2 C over 500 cycles,showing favorable electrochemical performances.The strategy in this investigation paves a promising way to the design of active electrocatalysts for realizing commercially viable Li-S batteries.Wenlong Cai Yingze Song Yuting Fang Weiwei Wang Songlin Yu Huaisheng Ao Yongchun Zhu Yitai Qian 2020Nano Research2020,13,12:5
8Colour compound lenses for a portable fluorescence microscope显示文摘In this article,we demonstrated a handheld smartphone fluorescence microscope(HSFM)that integrates dualfunctional polymer lenses with a smartphone.The HSFM consists of a smartphone,a field-portable illumination source,and a dual-functional polymer lens that performs both optical imaging and filtering.Therefore,compared with the existing smartphone fluorescence microscope,the HSFM does not need any additional optical filters.Although fluorescence imaging has traditionally played an indispensable role in biomedical and clinical applications due to its high specificity and sensitivity for detecting cells,proteins,DNAs/RNAs,etc.,the bulky elements of conventional fluorescence microscopes make them inconvenient for use in point-of-care diagnosis.The HSFM demonstrated in this article solves this problem by providing a multifunctional,miniature,small-form-factor fluorescence module.This multifunctional fluorescence module can be seamlessly attached to any smartphone camera for both bright-field and fluorescence imaging at cellular-scale resolutions without the use of additional bulky lenses/filters;in fact,the HSFM achieves magnification and light filtration using a single lens.Cell and tissue observation,cell counting,plasmid transfection evaluation,and superoxide production analysis were performed using this device.Notably,this lens system has the unique capability of functioning with numerous smartphones,irrespective of the smartphone model and the camera technology housed within each device.As such,this HSFM has the potential to pave the way for realtime point-of-care diagnosis and opens up countless possibilities for personalized medicine.Bo Dai Ziao Jiao Lulu Zheng Hunter Bachman Yongfeng Fu Xinjun Wan Yule Zhang Yu Huang Xiaodian Han Chenglong Zhao Tony Jun Huang Songlin Zhuang Dawei Zhang 2019Light(Science & Applications)2019,8,1:3
9Fiber-shaped organic electrochemical transistors for biochemical detections with high sensitivity and stability显示文摘Precise and continuous monitoring of biochemicals by biosensors assists to understand physiological functions for various diagnostics and therapeutic applications.For implanted biosensors,small size and flexibility are essential for minimizing tissue damage and achieving accurate detection.However,the active surface area of sensor decreases as the sensor becomes smaller,which will increase the impedance and decrease the signal to noise ratio,resulting in a poor detection limit.Taking advantages of local amplification effect,organic electrochemical transistors(OECTs)constitute promising candidates for high-sensitive monitoring.However,their detections in deep tissues are rarely reported.Herein,we report a family of implantable,fiber-shaped all-in-one OECTs based on carbon nanotube fibers for versatile biochemical detection including H2O2,glucose,dopamine and glutamate.These fiber-shaped OECTs demonstrated high sensitivity,dynamical stability in physiological environment and antiinterference capability.After implantation in mouse brain,7-day dopamine monitoring in vivo was realized for the first time.These fiber-shaped OECTs could be great additions to the'life science'tool box and represent promising avenue for biomedical monitoring.Xiaoying Wu Jianyou Feng Jue Deng Zhichang Cui Liyuan Wang Songlin Xie Chuanrui Chen Chengqiang Tang Zhengqi Han Hongbo Yu Xuemei Sun Huisheng Peng 2020Science China Chemistry2020,63,9:3

13Heterogeneous junctions of magnetic Ni core@binary dielectric shells toward high-efficiency microwave attenuation显示文摘Metal-organic-frameworks(MOFs)derived carbon-based composites with balanced impedance matching and synergistic dielectric/magnetic loss are considered as promising microwave absorbers.With the aim to promote interfacial polarization,herein,heterogeneous junctions composed of magnetic Ni core and binary dielectric shells(C and PEDOT)are synthesized by annealing Ni-MOFs precursors and an in-situ polymerization strategy,forming Ni@C@PEDOT spheres with multilayer heterogeneous interfaces.The results indicate that the final absorption attenuation is sensitive to the thickness of the dielectric PEDOT layer,when the thickness of the PEDOT layer is 224 nm,an optimal reflection loss of-72.4 d B is achieved at 2 mm and the effective absorption bandwidth reaches 6.4 GHz with a thickness of only 1.85 mm,the excellent absorption attenuation is accredited to the promoted impedance matching,enhanced conduction loss as well as the synergistic interfacial polarization induced by magnetic core and binary dielectric shells.Meanwhile,this work offers a simple and significant strategy in preparation for ideal microwave absorbers by rational design of multilayer heterogeneous interfaces.Jijun Wang Songlin Yu Qingqing Wu Yan Li Fangyuan Li Xiao Zhou Yuhua Chen Bingzhen Li Panbo Liu 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,20:1
14Mixed H_2/H_∞ filtering for a class of high-speed sampling uncertain systems显示文摘The problem of mixed H_2/H_∞ filtering for polytopic Delta operator systems is investigated. The aim is to design a linear asymptotically stable filter which guarantees that the filtering error system has different performances in different filtering channels. Based on a parameter-dependent Lyapunov function, a new mixed H_2/H_∞ performance criterion is presented. Upon this performance criterion, a sufficient condition for the full-order mixed H_2/H_∞ filter is derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities. The filter can be obtained from the solution of a convex optimization problem. The proposed filter design procedure is less conservative than the strategy based on the quadratic stability notion. 16Hierarchically wood-derived integrated electrode with tunable superhydrophilic/superaerophobic surface for efficient urea electrolysis显示文摘Conferring surfaces with superhydrophilic/superaerophobic characteristics is desirable for synthesizing efficient gas reaction catalysts.However,complicated procedures,high costs,and poor interfaces hinder commercialization.Here,an integrated electrode with tunable wettability derived from a hierarchically porous wood scaffold was well designed for urea oxidation reaction(UOR).Interestingly,the outer surface of the wood lumen was optimized to the preferred wettability via stoichiometry to promote electrolyte permeation and gas escape.This catalyst exhibits outstanding activity and durability for UOR in alkaline media,requiring only a potential of 1.36 V(vs.RHE)to deliver 10 m A cm^(-2)and maintain its activity without significant decay for 60 h.These experiments and theoretical calculations demonstrate that the nickel(oxy)hydroxide layer formed through surface reconstruction of nickel nanoparticles improves the active sites and intrinsic activity.Moreover,the superwetting properties of the electrode promote mass transfer by guaranteeing substantial contact with the electrolyte and accelerating the separation of gaseous products during electrocatalysis.These findings provide the understanding needed to manipulate the surface wettability through rational design and fabrication of efficient electrocatalysts for gas-evolving processes.Yu Liao Songlin Deng Yan Qing Han Xu Cuihua Tian Yiqiang Wu 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,1:1

18Comparative Study on Deformation Prediction Models of Wuqiangxi Concrete Gravity Dam Based on Monitoring Data显示文摘The deformation prediction models of Wuqiangxi concrete gravity dam are developed,including two statistical models and a deep learning model.In the statistical models,the reliable monitoring data are firstly determined with Lahitte criterion;then,the stepwise regression and partial least squares regression models for deformation prediction of concrete gravity dam are constructed in terms of the reliable monitoring data,and the factors of water pressure,temperature and time effect are considered in the models;finally,according to the monitoring data from 2006 to 2020 of five typical measuring points including J23(on dam section 24^(#)),J33(on dam section 4^(#)),J35(on dam section 8^(#)),J37(on dam section 12^(#)),and J39(on dam section 15^(#))located on the crest of Wuqiangxi concrete gravity dam,the settlement curves of the measuring points are obtained with the stepwise regression and partial least squares regression models.A deep learning model is developed based on long short-term memory(LSTM)recurrent neural network.In the LSTM model,two LSTMlayers are used,the rectified linear unit function is adopted as the activation function,the input sequence length is 20,and the random search is adopted.The monitoring data for the five typical measuring points from 2006 to 2017 are selected as the training set,and the monitoring data from 2018 to 2020 are taken as the test set.From the results of case study,we can find that(1)the good fitting results can be obtained with the two statistical models;(2)the partial least squares regression algorithm can solve the model with high correlation factors and reasonably explain the factors;(3)the prediction accuracy of the LSTM model increases with increasing the amount of training data.In the deformation prediction of concrete gravity dam,the LSTM model is suggested when there are sufficient training data,while the partial least squares regression method is suggested when the training data are insufficient.Songlin Yang Xingjin Han Chufeng Kuang Weihua Fang Jianfei Zhang Tiantang Yu 2022Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2022,,4:1

20Deciphering glial scar after spinal cord injury显示文摘Spinal cord injury(SCI)often leads to permanent disability,which is mainly caused by the loss of functional recovery.In this review,we aimed to investigate why the healing process is interrupted.One of the reasons for this interruption is the formation of a glial scar around the severely damaged tissue,which is usually covered by reactive glia,macrophages and fibroblasts.Aiming to clarify this issue,we summarize the latest research findings pertaining to scar formation,tissue repair,and the divergent roles of blood-derived monocytes/macrophages,ependymal cells,fibroblasts,microglia,oligodendrocyte progenitor cells(OPCs),neuron-glial antigen 2(NG2)and astrocytes during the process of scar formation,and further analyse the contribution of these cells to scar formation.In addition,we recapitulate the development of therapeutic treatments targeting glial scar components.Altogether,we aim to present a comprehensive decoding of the glial scar and explore potential therapeutic strategies for improving functional recovery after SCI.Yu Zhang Shuhai Yang Chang Liu Xiaoxiao Han Xiaosong Gu Songlin Zhou 2021Burns & Trauma2021,9,1:1
