1Clinical observation on effect of scalp electroacupuncture for mild cognitive impairment显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the therapeutic effect of scalp electroacupuncture for mild cognitive impairment (MCI) in the early stage. METHODS: Two hundred and thirty three MCI patients were randomly divided into three groups: the drug group, the scalp electroacupuncture group, and the syndrome differentiation group. For the scalp electroacupuncture group, the points of Baihui (DU 20), Sishecong (EX-HN1), Fengchi (GB 20), and Shenting (DU 24) were selected. For the syndrome differentiation group, specific acupoints were added on the basis of syndrome differentiation and according to the scale for the differentiation of syndromes in vascular dementia (SDSVD) beside the acupoints used in the scalp electroacupuncture group. For the drug group, nimodipine was orally administered. Each patient was treated for two courses, eight weeks. The score differences in minimental state examination (MMSE), picture recognition, and clock drawing test were observed before and after the treatment. RESULTS: After treatment, the score differences in MMSE and clock drawing test were of obvious statistical significance among three groups (P<0.01, P<0.05). The score differences in picture recognition were of extremely statistical significance between the scalp electroacupuncture group and the syndrome differentiation group (P<0.01), while the difference was not found in the drug group (P>0.05). There were statistical significant differences in therapeutic effects between the scalp electroacupuncture group and the drug group, and between the syndrome differentiation group and the drug group (P<0.05), while no statistical difference was found between scalp electroacupuncture group and the syndrome differentiation group (P>0.05). CONCLUSION: All the three therapies may improve the cognitive function of MCI patients. 2Effects of chemical fertilizer combined with organic manure on Fuji apple quality,yield and soil fertility in apple orchard on the Loess Plateau of China显示文摘To evaluate the effects of chemical fertilizer combined with organic manure on apple yield,quality and soil fertility,an experiment was conducted in an apple orchard on the Loess Plateau of China.Six treatments,i.e.,1)no nitrogen(N)with chemical phosphorus(P)and potassium(K)(PK),2)no P with chemical N and K(NK),3)no K with chemical N and P(NP),4)N,P and K chemical fertilizers only(NPK),5)swine manure(M)only(M),and 6)half chemical fertilizers combined with half swine manure(NPKM)were included with three replications for each.The NPKM treatment achieved 36.9 t/ha average annual yield,which was 42.5%greater than the yield of PK treatment.The average annual yields followed the sequence of NPKM>NPK>M>NK>NP>PK.In NPKM treatment 71.3%of the collected apples had an apple diameter greater than 80 mm compared with 58.2%,41.5%and 37.2%in NK,PK and NP treatments,respectively.The sugar to acid(S:A)ratio was the greatest in NPKM treatment.The results of Vitamin C,soluble solid and firmness showed that NPKM treatment had the highest values.The concentration of soil organic carbon(SOC)in the 0 to 20 cm depth of soil was significantly affected by addition of M.Compared to the antecedent soil properties,the SOCS in the NPKM and M treatments were increased by 28.8%,29.4%,and TN contents were 56.5,49.8%more for soil at 0-20 cm depths,respectively.The major soil nutrients of N,P and K were also significantly increased by M and NPKM treatments in surface soil for five years.The data support the conclusion that,for a production of 35-40 t/ha in an apple orchard on the Loess Plateau of China,the 25-30 t/ha organic manure,160-200 kg/ha N,100-150 kg/ha P2O5 and 120-160 kg/ha K2O were the most suitable fertilizer application.The finding will be helpful for harmonious development of apple production technology,economic income increase for farmers,and improvement of the apple orchard ecosystem.Zhao Zuoping Yan Sha Liu Fen Ji Puhui Wang Xiaoying Tong Yan’an 2014International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2014,7,2:17

4Genesis of the Wulong gold deposit,Liaoning Province,NE China:Constrains from noble gases,radiogenic and stable isotope studies显示文摘TheWulong lode deposit contains over 80 tonnes of gold with an average grade of 5.35 g/t.It is one of the largest deposits in Dandong City,Liaoning Province in northeast China.Previous studies on the deposit focused on its geological characteristics,geochemistry,fluid inclusions,and the timing of gold mineralization.However,controversy remains regarding the origin of the ore-forming fluids and metals,and the genesis of the gold deposit.This paper presents zircon UePb and pyrite RbeSr ages and S,Pb,He,and Ar isotopic results along with quartz H and O isotopic data for all litho-units associated with the deposit.Laser ablation inductively coupled mass spectrometry measurements yielded zircon UePb dates for samples of pre-mineralization rocks like granite porphyry dike,the Sanguliu granodiorite,fine-grained diorite,and syn-mineralization diorite,as well as post-mineralization dolerite,and lamprophyre;their emplacement ages are 1261 Ma,1241 Ma,1231 Ma,1201 Ma,1192 Ma,and 1152 Ma,respectively.The pyrite RbeSr isochron age is 1191 Ma,indicating that both magmatism and mineralization occurred during the Early Cretaceous.The d18OH2O values of ore-forming hydrothermal fluids from the quartzepolymetallic sulfide vein stage vary from 4.8&to 6.5&,and the dDV-SMOW values are between67.7&and75.9&,indicating that the ore-forming fluids were primarily magmatic.The noble gas isotope compositions of fluid inclusions hosted in pyrite suggest that the ore-forming fluids were dominantly derived from crustal sources with minor mantle input.Sulfur isotopic values of pyrite vary between 0.2&and 3.5&,suggesting that S was derived from a homogeneous magmatic source or possibly from fluids derived from the crust.The Pb isotopic compositions of sulfides(207Pb/204Pb?15.51 e15.71,206Pb/204Pb?17.35e18.75,208Pb/204Pb?38.27e40.03)indicate that the Pb of the Wulong gold deposit is a mixture of crust and mantle components.Geochronological and geochemical data,together with the regional geological history,indicate that Early Cretaceous magmatism and mineralization of the Wulong gold deposit occurred during the rollback of the subducting Paleo-Pacific Plate,which resulted in lithospheric thinning and the destruction of the North China Craton(NCC),which indicates that the deposit is of magmaticehydrothermal origin.Peng Zhang Linlin Kou Yan Zhao Zhongwei Bi Deming Sha Renping Han Zhumin Li 2020Geoscience Frontiers2020,11,2:13
5Multi-Class Classification Methods of Cost-Conscious LS-SVM for Fault Diagnosis of Blast Furnace显示文摘Aiming at the limitations of rapid fault diagnosis of blast furnace,a novel strategy based on cost-conscious least squares support vector machine(LS-SVM)is proposed to solve this problem.Firstly,modified discrete particle swarm optimization is applied to optimize the feature selection and the LS-SVM parameters.Secondly,cost-conscious formula is presented for fitness function and it contains in detail training time,recognition accuracy and the feature selection.The CLS-SVM algorithm is presented to increase the performance of the LS-SVM classifier.The new method can select the best fault features in much shorter time and have fewer support vectors and better generalization performance in the application of fault diagnosis of the blast furnace.Thirdly,a gradual change binary tree is established for blast furnace faults diagnosis.It is a multi-class classification method based on center-of-gravity formula distance of cluster.A gradual change classification percentage is used to select sample randomly.The proposed new method raises the speed of diagnosis,optimizes the classification accuracy and has good generalization ability for fault diagnosis of the application of blast furnace.LIU Li-mei WANG An-na SHA Mo ZHAO Feng-yun 2011Journal of Iron and Steel Research(International)2011,18,10:13

8Experimental study of rotor blades vibration and noise in multistage high pressure compressor and their relevance显示文摘Rotor blades fault of aeroengine compressor is mostly caused by mechanical and aerodynamic excitation.And the excitation factor of high intensity sound wave to rotor blades should not be ignored.Experimental researches are conducted on a multistage high pressure compressor.When high level vibration occurs on the first stage of rotor blades, the noise spectrum presents typical characteristic for discrete multi-tone in the compressor.The amplitude of blade vibration displacement and the sound pressure level of characteristic frequency noise increases and decreases simultaneously and reaches the maximum value at the same time.This frequency merely occur on a certain speed range and is locked in a specific range which presents no variation with the rotating speed.When high level vibration occurs on the first stage of rotor blades, the noise spectrum presents a sharp peak and the propagation state of the characteristic frequency is a helix structure in the compressor.It can be confirmed that acoustic resonance occurs in the multistage compressor.The acoustic resonance frequency and its side band frequencies are generated by modulation of a rotating noise source at the rotor speed which is the excitation source of the rotor blades vibration.Fengtong ZHAO Xiaodong JING Mingsui YANG Deyou WANG Yundong SHA Xiaochi LUAN 2020Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2020,33,3:11
9Effect of Tiaoshen Kaiqiao acupuncture in the treatment of ischemic post-stroke depression:a randomized controlled trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To observe the effect of Tiaoshen Kaiqiao acupuncture in the treatment of ischemic post-stroke depression.METHODS:This research was a single-blind, positive-controlled trial done in a single entity.Totally58 patients with ischemic post-stroke depression were randomly divided into two groups.The acupuncture group was given Tiaoshen Kaiqiao acupuncture therapy and placebo starch tablets treatment,while the control group was treated with fluoxetine tablets and body acupuncture treatment.Evaluated the clinical efficacy of the two groups with Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD),Anti Depression Drug Side Effects Rating Scale(SERS), Clinical Global Impression Scale(CGI) respectively before treatment, the fourth weekend of treatment, the eighth weekend of treatment,the twelfth weekend of treatment.The adverse reactions in two groups were observed and documented.RESULTS:The HAMD scale scores of the two groups in different treatment period were significantly decreased compared with that before treatment(P < 0.05); the score reduction of HAMD scale between the two groups had no significant differences(P > 0.05).There was significant difference between the SERS scores of two groups(P < 0.05); the control group had more adverse reactions, and the score would be increased with the extension of treatment time.Effect index(EI) of CGI in the acupuncture group is better than that of control group(P < 0.05).CONCLUSION:The effects of Tiaoshen Kaiqiao acupuncture and fluoxetine in the treatment of ischemic post-stroke depression were similar, but the former had no obvious adverse reaction and side effects.Li Menghan Zhang Bo Meng Zhihong Sha Tao Han Yuhui Zhao Hong Zhang Chunhong 2017Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2017,37,2:10
10TNF-α suppresses sweat gland differentiation of MSCs by reducing FTO-mediated m^6 A-demethylation of Nanog mRNA显示文摘An effect of inhibition of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)on differentiation of mesenchymal stromal cells(MSCs)has been demonstrated,but the exact mechanisms that govern MSCs differentiation remain to be further elucidated.Here,we show that TNF-αinhibits the differentiation of MSCs to sweat glands in a specific sweat gland-inducing environment,accompanied with reduced expression of Nanog,a core pluripotency factor.We elucidated that fat mass and obesity-associated protein(FTO)-mediated m^6 A demethylation is involved in the regulation of MSCs differentiation potential.Exposure of MSCs to TNF-αreduced expression of FTO,which demethylated Nanog m RNA.Reduced expression of FTO increased Nanog m RNA methylation,decreased Nanog m RNA and protein expression,and significantly inhibited MSCs capacity for differentiation to sweat gland cells.Our finding is the first to elucidate the functional importance of m^6 A modification in MSCs,providing new insights that the microenvironment can regulate the multipotency of MSCs at the post-transcriptional level.Moreover,to maintain differentiation capacity of MSCs by regulating m^6 A modification suggested a novel potential therapeutic target for stem cellmediated regenerative medicine.Yihui Wang Rui Wang Bin Yao Tian Hu Zhao Li Yufan Liu Xiaoli Cui Liuhanghang Cheng Wei Song Sha Huang Xiaobing Fu 2020Science China(Life Sciences)2020,63,1:9
11Premature Tapetum Degeneration: a Major Cause of Abortive Pollen Development in Photoperiod Sensitive Genic Male Sterility in Rice显示文摘Photoperiod-sensitive genic male-sterile (PSGMS) rice (Oryza sativa L.), a natural mutant found in the rice cultivar Nongken 58, is very useful for the development of hybrid rice cultivars. Despite its widespread use in breeding programs, the initial stage of the abortive development of PSGMS rice and the possible cytological mechanisms of pollen abortion have not been determined. In the present study, a systematic cytological comparison of the anther development of PSGMS rice with its normal fertile counterpart is conducted. The results show that pollen abortion in PSGMS rice first occurs before the pollen mother cell (PMC) stage, and continues during the entire process of pollen development until pollen degradation. The abortive process was closely associated with the abnormal behavior of the tapetum. Although tapetum degeneration in PSGMS rice initiates already at the PMC stage, it proceeds slowly and does not complete until the breakdown of the pollen. 12Gastric motility functional study based on electrical bioimpedance measurements and simultaneous electrogastrography显示文摘For some time now,the research on gastric motility and function has fallen behind in the amount of research on gastric endocrine,exocrine secretion,and gastric morphology.In this paper,a noninvasive method to study gastric motility was developed,taking bioimpedance measurements over the gastric area simultaneously with the electrogastrography(EGG).This is based on the concept of observing and analyzing simultaneously the intrinsic electrical gastric activity(basic electric rhythm) and the mechanical gastric activity.Additionally,preliminary clinical studies of healthy subjects and subjects with functional dyspepsia(FD) and gastritis were carried out.The impedance gastric motility(IGM) measurements of the healthy and FD subjects were compared,along with the studies of the FD subjects before treatment and after one week and three weeks of treatment.We also compared IGM measurements of healthy subjects and subjects with erosive gastritis,along with the studies of the subjects with erosive gastritis before treatment and after one week of treatment.Results show that FD subjects have poor gastric motility(P<0.01).After a week of treatment,the gastric motility of FD subjects was not yet improved although the EGG had returned to normal by this time.By three weeks of treatment,the regular IGM rhythm returned in FD subjects.There was a significant difference of IGM parameters between the gastritis and healthy subjects(P<0.05).The EGG rhythm of the gastritis subjects returned to normal at one week post-treatment,while IGM parameters showed a trend to improvement(P>0.05),These results suggest the possibility of clinic application of the proposed method.Zhang-yong LI Chao-shi REN Shu ZHAO Hong SHA Juan DENG 2011Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2011,12,12:9
13Genetic diversity of Tricholoma matsutake in Yunnan Province显示文摘To investigate the genetic diversity of Tricholoma matsutake,we studied ITS and IGS1 sequences and PCR polymorphism of a retrotransposon in 56 fruit bodies collected from 13 counties of 9 regions in Yunnan Province. We found one and three haplotypes based on ITS and IGS1 sequences,respectively. Moreover,there was no significant difference in PCR polymorphism of the retrotransposon among different populations. 14Effect of Tangweian Jianji on upper gastrointestinal remodeling in streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats显示文摘AIM:To investigate the effect of Tangweian Jianji(TWAJJ) on the biomechanical and morphometrical remodeling of the upper gastrointestinal tract in diabetic rats.METHODS:Diabetes was induced in 27 rats by injecting streptozotocin(40 mg/kg body weight),the animals were then divided into three groups(n = 9 in each group),i.e.,diabetic control(DM);high dose(10 g/kg,T1) and low dose(5 g/kg,T2).Another 10 rats acted as normal controls(Control).TWAJJ was administered by gavage once daily.Blood glucose and serum insulin levels were measured.Circumferential length,wall thickness and opening angle were measured from esophageal,duodenal,jejunal and ileal ring segments.The residual strain was calculated from the morphometric data.Step-wise distension was carried out on esophageal and jejunal segments.The obtained data on the length,diameter and pressure changes were then used to calculate the circumferential and longitudinal stresses and strains.Real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction was used to detect the receptor of advanced glycation end-products(RAGE) mRNA level in jejunal tissues.RESULTS:At the end of the experiment,the blood glucose level was significantly higher and the serum insulin level was significantly lower in DM,T1 and T2 groups than in the control group(Glucose:30.23 ± 0.41 mmol/L,27.48 ± 0.27 mmol/L and 27.84 ± 0.29 mmol/L vs 5.05 ± 0.04 mmol/L,P = 1.65 × 10-16,P = 5.89 × 10-19 and P = 1.63 × 10-18,respectively;Insulin:1.47 ± 0.32 g/L,2.66 ± 0.44 g/L,2.03 ± 0.29 g/L and 4.17 ± 0.54 g/L,P = 0.0001,P = 0.029 and P = 0.025,respectively).However,these levels did not differ among the DM,T1 and T2 groups.The wet weight per unit length,wall thickness and opening angle of esophageal and intestinal segments in the DM group were significantly higher than those in the control group(from P = 0.009 to P = 0.004).These parameters in the T1 group were significantly lower than those in the DM group(wet weight,duodenum:0.147 ± 0.003 g/cm vs 0.158 ± 0.001 g/cm,P = 0.047;jejunum,0.127 ± 0.003 g/cm vs 0.151 ± 0.002 g/cm,P = 0.017;ileum,0.127 ± 0.004 g/cm vs 0.139 ± 0.003 g/cm,P = 0.046;wall thickness,esophagus:0.84 ± 0.03 mm vs 0.94 ± 0.02 mm,P = 0.014;duodenum:1.27 ± 0.06 mm vs 1.39 ± 0.05 mm,P = 0.031;jejunum:1.19 ± 0.07mm vs 1.34 ± 0.04 mm,P = 0.047;ileum:1.09 ± 0.04 mm vs 1.15 ± 0.03 mm,P = 0.049;opening angle,esophagus:112.2 ± 13.2 vs 134.7 ± 14.7,P = 0.027;duodenum:105.9 ± 12.3 vs 123.1 ± 13.1,P = 0.046;jejunum:90.1 ± 15.4 vs 115.5 ± 13.3,P = 0.044;ileum:112.9 ± 13.4 vs 136.1 ± 17.1,P = 0.035).In the esophageal and jejunal segments,the inner residual stain was significantly smaller and the outer residual strain was larger in the DM group than in the control group(P = 0.022 and P = 0.035).T1 treatment significantly restored this biomechanical alteration(P = 0.011 and P = 0.019),but T2 treatment did not.Furthermore,the circumferential and longitudinal stiffness of the esophageal and jejunal wall increased in the DM group compared with those in the control group.T1,but not T2 treatment,significantly decreased the circumferential wall stiffness in the jejunal segment(P = 0.012) and longitudinal wall stiffness in the esophageal segment(P = 0.023).The mRNA level of RAGE was significantly decreased in the T1 group compared to that in the DM group(P = 0.0069).CONCLUSION:TWAJJ(high dose) treatment partly restored the morphometric and biomechanical remodeling of the upper gastrointestinal tract in diabetic rats.Gui-Fang Liu Jing-Bo Zhao Zhong Zhen Hong Sha Peng-Min Chen Min Li Jia-Cheng Zhang Ming-Ze Yuan Wen Gao Hans Gregersen Xiao-Lin Tong 2012World Journal of Gastroenterology2012,18,35:8

16Effect of Kaiyu Qingwei Jianji on the morphometry and residual strain distribution of small intestine in experimental diabetic rats显示文摘AIM: To investigate the effect of a Chinese medicine, Kaiyu Qingwei Jianji (KYQWJJ) used for diabetic treatment, on the morphometry and residual strain distribution of the small intestine in streptozotocin (STZ) -induced diabetic rats. Correlation analysis was also performed between the opening angle and residual strain with the blood glucose level. METHODS: Forty-two male Wistar rats weighing 220-240 g were included in this study. Thirty-two STZ- induced diabetic rats were subdivided into four groups (n = 8 in each group), i.e. diabetic control group (DM); high dose of KYQWJJ (T1, 36g/kg per day); low dose of KYQWJJ (T2, 17 g/kg per day) and Gliclazide (T3, 50 mg/kg per day). Another ten rats were used as non- diabetic control (CON). The medicines were poured directly into stomach lumen by gastric lavage twice daily. The rats of CON and DM groups were only poured the physiological saline. Blood glucose and plasma insulin levels were measured. Experimental period was 35 d. At the end of experiment, three 5-cm long segments were harvested from the duodenum, jejunum and ileum. Three rings of 1-2 mm in length for no-load and zero-stress state tests were cut from the middle of different segments. The morphometric data, such as the circumferential length, the wall thickness and the opening angle were measured from the digitized images of intestinal segments in the no-load state and zero- stress state. The residual strain was computed from the morphometry data. Furthermore, the linear regressionanalysis was performed between blood glucose level with morphometric and biomechanical data in the different intestinal segments. RESULTS: The blood glucose level of DM group was consistent 4-fold to 5-fold higher than those in CON group during the experiment (16.89 ± 1.11 vs 3.44 ± 0.15 mmol/L, P < 0.001). The blood glucose level in the T1 (16.89 ± 1.11 vs 11.08 ± 2.67 mmol/L, P < 0.01) and T3 groups (16.89 ± 1.11 vs 13.54 ± 1.73 mmol/L, P < 0.05), but not in T2 group (P > 0.05) was significantly lower than those in DM group. The plasma insulin levels of DM, T1, T2 and T3 groups were significantly lower than those in CON group (10.98 ± 1.02, 12.52 ± 1.42,13.54 ± 1.56,10.96 ± 0.96 vs 17.84 ± 2.34 pmol/L respectively, P < 0.05), but no significantly difference among the groups with exception of CON group. The wet weight/cm and total wall thickness of duodenum, jejunum and ileum in DM group were significantly higher than those in CON group (wet weight (g/cm): duodenum 0.209 ± 0.012 vs 0.166 ± 0.010, jejunum 0.149 ± 0.008 vs 0.121 ± 0.004, ileum 0.134 ± 0.013 vs 0.112 ± 0.007; Wall thickness (mm): duodenum 0.849 ± 0.027 vs 0.710 ± 0.026, jejunum 0.7259 ± 0.034 vs 0.627 ± 0.025, ileum 0.532 ± 0.023 vs 0.470 ± 0.010, all P < 0.05), T1 and T3 treatment could partly restore change of wall thickness, but T2 could not. The opening angle and absolute value of inner and outer residual stain were significantly smaller in duodenal segment (188 ± 11 degrees, -0.31 ± 0.02 and 0.35 ± 0.03 vs 259 ± 15 degrees, -0.40 ± 0.02 and 0.43 ± 0.05) and larger in jejunal (215 ± 20 degrees, -0.30 ± 0.03 and 0.36 ± 0.06 vs 172 ± 19 degrees, -0.25 ± 0.02 and 0.27 ± 0.02) and ileal segments (183 ± 20 degrees, -0.28 ± 0.01 and 0.34 ± 0.05 vs 153 ± 14 degrees, -0.23 ± 0.03 and 0.29 ± 0.04) in DM group than in CON group (P < 0.01). T1 and T3 treatment could partly restore this biomechanical alteration, but strong effect was found in T1 treatment (duodenum 243 ± 14 degrees, -0.36 ± 0.02 and 0.42 ± 0.06, jejunum 180 ± 15 degrees, -0.26 ± 0.03 and 0.30 ± 0.06 and ileum 163 ± 17 degrees, -0.23 ± 0.03 and 0.30 ± 0.05, compared with DM, P < 0.05). The linear association was found between the glucose level with most morphometric and biomechanical data. CONCLUSION: KYQWJJ (high dose) treatment could partly restore the changes of blood glucose level and the remodeling of morphometry and residual strain of small intestine in diabetic rats. 20CXCL10/CXCR3 Signaling in the DRG Exacerbates Neuropathic Pain in Mice显示文摘Chemokines and receptors have been implicated in the pathogenesis of chronic pain.Here,we report that spinal nerve ligation(SNL)increased CXCR3 expression in dorsal root ganglion(DRG)neurons,and intra-DRG injection of Cxcr3 shRNA attenuated the SNL-induced mechanical allodynia and heat hyperalgesia.SNL also increased the m RNA levels of CXCL9,CXCL10,and CXCL11,whereas only CXCL10 increased the number of action potentials(APs)in DRG neurons.Furthermore,in Cxcr3^(-/-)mice,CXCL10 did not increase the number of APs,and the SNL-induced increase of the numbers of APs in DRG neurons was reduced.Finally,CXCL10 induced the activation of p38 and ERK in ND7-23 neuronal cells and DRG neurons.Pretreatment of DRG neurons with the P38 inhibitor SB203580 decreased the number of APs induced by CXCL10.Our data indicate that CXCR3,activated by CXCL10,mediates p38 and ERK activation in DRG neurons and enhances neuronal excitability,which contributes to the maintenance of neuropathic pain.Yan-Fang Kong Wei-Lin Sha Xiao-Bo Wu Lin-Xia Zhao Ling-Jie Ma Yong-Jing Gao 2021Neuroscience Bulletin2021,37,3:6
