| 2 | An update–tissue engineered nerve grafts for the repair of peripheral nerve injuries显示文摘Peripheral nerve injuries(PNI) are caused by a range of etiologies and result in a broad spectrum of disability. While nerve autografts are the current gold standard for the reconstruction of extensive nerve damage, the limited supply of autologous nerve and complications associated with harvesting nerve from a second surgical site has driven groups from multiple disciplines, including biomedical engineering, neurosurgery, plastic surgery, and orthopedic surgery, to develop a suitable or superior alternative to autografting. Over the last couple of decades, various types of scaffolds, such as acellular nerve grafts(ANGs), nerve guidance conduits, and non-nervous tissues, have been filled with Schwann cells, stem cells, and/or neurotrophic factors to develop tissue engineered nerve grafts(TENGs). Although these have shown promising effects on peripheral nerve regeneration in experimental models, the autograft has remained the gold standard for large nerve gaps. This review provides a discussion of recent advances in the development of TENGs and their efficacy in experimental models. Specifically, TENGs have been enhanced via incorporation of genetically engineered cells, methods to improve stem cell survival and differentiation, optimized delivery of neurotrophic factors via drug delivery systems(DDS), co-administration of platelet-rich plasma(PRP), and pretreatment with chondroitinase ABC(Ch-ABC). Other notable advancements include conduits that have been bioengineered to mimic native nerve structure via cell-derived extracellular matrix(ECM) deposition, and the development of transplantable living nervous tissue constructs from rat and human dorsal root ganglia(DRG) neurons. | 4 | Does a staged treatment of high energy tibial plateau fractures affect functional results and bony union?A case series显示文摘Purpose:Tibial plateau fracture(TPF)is a devastating injury as it shatters lower articular surface of the largest joint.Apart from bony injury,TPF can lead to great soft tissue envelope compromise which affects the treatment plan and outcome.In the present study,clinical results were assessed in cases of high energy TPFs treated in staged manner.Methods:Twenty-three(20 males and 3 females)patients of high energy communited TPFs(Schatzker typeⅤandⅥ)were consecutively treated.1 All the patient had compromise of overlying skin conditions.They were all successively scheduled for staged treatment plan which comprised of application of bridging knee external fixator on the first day of admission and definitive internal fixation after skin and soft tissue overlying the fracture were healed.Schatzker typeⅠ,Ⅱ,ⅢandⅣwere excluded from the study.Primary survey was done and patient who had head injury,chest and abdominal injury,pelvic injury and contralateral limb injury and open fractures were excluded from the study.The patients were also evaluated in terms of wound complications,axial and rotary alignment of limb,fixation failure,articular congruity and range of motion of the knees and post injury employment.Statistical analysis was done using SPSS software.Results:Maximum follow-up period was 13 months.All the fractures were united at final follow-up.Clinical evaluation was done with the Tegner Lysholm knee scoring scale.2 Excellent results were found in 78%cases and good and fair results in 22%cases.There was significant correlation between range of motion and the Tegner Lysholm knee score(p<0.001,Pearson correlation coefficient=0.741).The correlation between the score and the radiographical union duration was significant(p=0.006,Pearson correlation coefficient=-0.554).Conclusion:A staged treatment plan allows healing of soft tissue envelope,with avoidance of dreadful complications such as compartment syndrome and chronic infection.In addition,a staged treatment strategy does not hamper the fracture reduction,bony union and the functional results. | Nilesh Barwar Abhay Elhence Sumit Banerjee Nitesh gahlot | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Traumatology2020,23,4: | 7 |

| 7 | A Synthesizing Land-cover Classification Method Based on Google Earth Engine: A Case Study in Nzhelele and Levhuvu Catchments, South Africa显示文摘This study designed an approach to derive land-cover in the South Africa with insufficient ground samples, and made a case demonstration in Nzhelele and Levhuvu catchments, South Africa. The method was developed based on an integration of Landsat 8, Sentinel-1, and Shuttle Radar Topography Mission(SRTM) Digital Elevation Model(DEM), and the Google Earth Engine(GEE) platform. Random forest classifier with 300 trees is employed as land-cover classification model. In order to overcome the defect of insufficient ground data, the stratified sampling method was used to generate the training and validation samples from the existing land-cover product. Likewise, in order to recognize different land-cover categories, the percentile and monthly median composites were employed to expand input metrics of random forest classifier. Results showed that the overall accuracy of the land-cover of Nzhelele and Levhuvu catchments, South Africa in 2017–2018 reached to 76.43%. Three important results can be drawn from our research. 1) The participation of Sentinel-1 data can slightly improve overall accuracy of land-cover while its contribution on land-cover classification varied with land types. 2) Under-fitting problem was observed in the training of non-dominant land-cover categories using the random sampling, the stratified sampling method is recommended to make sure the classification accuracy of non-dominant classes. 3) When related reflectance bands participated in the training process, individual Normalized Difference Vegetation index(NDVI), Enhanced Vegetation Index(EVI), Soil Adjusted Vegetation Index(SAVI), Normalized Difference Built-up Index(NDBI) have little effect on final land-cover classification result. | ZENG Hongwei WU Bingfang WANG Shuai MUSAKWA Walter TIAN Fuyou MASHIMBYE Zama Eric POONA Nitesh SYNDEY Mavengahama | 2020 | Chinese Geographical Science2020,30,3: | 4 |
| 8 | 下颌骨骨折内固定术后颞下颌关节功能的临床观察显示文摘目的:评价下颌骨骨折内固定术后的下颌活动范围。确定正常人(无外伤或颞下颌关节紊乱病史、症状)的下颌活动范围及比较下颌骨骨折内固定术后患者活动范围。方法:在这个实验中我们选择了50例2年前曾因下颌骨骨折进行下颌骨骨折内固定(2.0mm厚度钛板)术后的患者为实验组,且不包括下颌骨髁突骨折的患者。同时选择了同年龄结构的50位正常人(无外伤或颞下颌关节紊乱病的历史和症状)作为客观(最大开口度,横向偏移,最大前徙度,开偏斜度,关节噪音)评价和比较实验组和对照组的数据。数据采用SPSS软件分析。结果:下颌骨骨折患者的平均年龄为(36.98±7.77)岁,男比女多(66%),常见的病因是交通事故(74%),常见的骨折是颏孔区骨折(29.3%),开偏斜(44%),咔哒声(28%)关节杂音(36%)。对照组的平均年龄为(35.2±6.23)岁,开偏斜为20%,咔哒声12%和关节杂音为12%。实验组的平均开口度为(37.16±1.07)mm,横向偏移(5.34±0.37)mm,前徙度(5.38±0.30)mm。对照组的平均开口度为(46.9±2.88),横向偏移(8.98±0.89)mm和前徙度(7.46±0.83)mm。结论:下颌骨骨折内固定术后,下颌骨的活动范围减少和开偏斜与关节噪音的发病率多。 | CHAURASIA NITESH KR 王心彧 关键 | 2014 | 黑龙江医药科学2014,37,2: | 3 |
| 9 | 马蹄花叶提取物在雄性白化病小鼠体内的抗炎作用(英文)显示文摘AIM:To study the in vivo anti-inflammatory activity of Tabernaemontana divaricata leaf extract on male albino mice.METHODS:Aqueous decoction and methanol leaf extracts were tested for their ability to reduce croton oil-induced edema in the mouse ear after topical application.The methanol leaf extract dose-dependently inhibited the croton oil-induced ear edema in mice(ID50<500μg·cm 2).A bioassay-guided liquid–liquid fractionation of this methanol extract gave four active fractions:water insoluble(F1),hexane(F2),ethyl acetate(F3)and water(F4).RESULTS:The hexane fraction showed a very high activity(42.1%inhibition at0.7μg·cm 2)as compared to the control.The other fractions were less active(F1:56.1%at 506.2μg·cm-2;F3:57.3%at 289.3μg·cm 2;and F4:31.9%for 203.8μg·cm 2)while indomethacin gave 48.8%of inhibition at 90μg·cm 2.The activity of F1 and F3 may be at least in part explained by the presence of anti-inflammatory flavonoids,while the activity was not correlated to the tannin contents.No compounds were detected in the most active F2 fraction.CONCLUSIONS:The results give a rational support to the traditional use of T.divaricata in tropical India as anti-inflammatory agent. | Sachin Jain Praveen Sharma Santosh Ghule Ankit Jain Nitesh Jain | 2013 | 中国天然药物2013,11,5: | 2 |

Small choledochocele is rare congenital malformation associated with non-specific symptoms and a delay in diagnosis. The coexistence of choledochocele and pancreas divisum is extremely rare with only two case reports published in literature. In both cases MRCP failed to diagnose any biliary or pancreatic abnormality. This case suggests that the patients with recurrent abdominal pain and pancreas divisum should not be presumed to be suffering from pancreatitis. Careful evaluated for additional anomalies in the biliary tree should be sought for refractory symptoms.
