| 2 | N_2O Emission from Paddy Field under Different Rice Planting Modes显示文摘Measurements of N2O emissions from conventional rice cultivation (CRC), CRC with straw mulching, system of rice intensification (SRI) and SRI with plastic film mulching were conducted through static chamber/gas-chromatography techniques. The results show that daily fluctuation of N2O emissions in jointing stage are much higher than in others. A type peak of N2O seasonal emission presented between jointing and bearing stages companying with high daily average temperature and low precipitation. Biomass and leaf stomatal conductance were observed. Total quantities of N2O emission were budgeted. The results showed that after jointing stage the average N2O emission flux of SRI with plastic film mulching increased significantly than CRC with straw mulching and SRI, the leaf stomatal conductance of those showed the same trend (p< 0.05 ). Yield and total quantity of N2O emission in CRC with straw mulching enhanced 13.7% and 10.7% compared with those of CRC, respectively. | 3 | Hierarchically electrospraying a PLGA@chitosan sphere-in-sphere composite microsphere for multi-drug-controlled release显示文摘Sequential administration and controlled release of different drugs are of vital importance for regulating cellular behaviors and tissue regeneration,which usually demands appropriate carriers like microspheres(MS)to control drugs releases.Electrospray has been proven an effective technique to prepare MS with uniform particle size and high drug-loading rate.In this study,we applied electrospray to simply and hierarchically fabricate sphere-in-sphere composite microspheres,with smaller poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid)MS(~8-10 lm in diameter)embedded in a larger chitosan MS(~250-300 lm in diameter).The scanning electron microscopy images revealed highly uniform MS that can be accurately controlled by adjusting the nozzle diameter or voltage.Two kinds of model drugs,bovine serum albumin and chlorhexidine acetate,were encapsulated in the microspheres.The fluorescence-labeled rhodamine-fluoresceine isothiocyanate(Rho-FITC)and ultraviolet(UV)spectrophotometry results suggested that loaded drugs got excellent distribution in microspheres,as well as sustained,slow release in vitro.In addition,far-UV circular dichroism and matrixassisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry(MALDI-TOF-MS)results indicated original secondary structure and molecular weight of drugs after electrospraying.Generally speaking,our research proposed a modified hierarchically electrospraying technique to prepare sphere-in-sphere composite MS with two different drugs loaded,which could be applied in sequential,multi-modality therapy. | Zhu Liu Weilong Ye Jingchuan Zheng Qindong Wang Guowu Ma Huiying Liu Xiumei Wang | 2020 | Regenerative Biomaterials2020,7,4: | 5 |

| 5 | A novel mitochondrial tRNA gene mutation in a chinese family with dilated cardiomyopathy and sensorineural deafness显示文摘Objective: To determine whether a mutation of mitochondrial DNA induces familial dilated cardiomyopathy in Chinese families with cardiomyopathy,and analyzed the correlation between the genotype and phenotype. Methods: Affected members in three Chinese families of the familial dilated cardiomyopathy underwent clinical evaluation and DNA analysis. Polymerase chain reaction and direct DNA sequencing were used to screen for mitochondrial DNA mutation. The type of mtDNA variations and clinical situation were analysed on the patients with mitochondrial DNA mutation. Results: The mitochondrial A3434G mutation was identified in one of the three families,the 3434 th nucleotide A was replaced by G, which led to change of amino acid. No mutations were identified in the clinically unaffected members of the family and all members of the other two families. | 6 | Development of an antimicrobial peptide-loaded mineralized collagen bone scaffold for infective bone defect repair显示文摘The repair of infective bone defects is a great challenge in clinical work.It is of vital importance to develop a kind of bone scaffold with good osteogenic properties and long-term antibacterial activity for local anti-infection and bone regeneration.A porous mineralized collagen(MC)scaffold containing poly(D,L-lactide-co-glycolic acid)(PLGA)microspheres loaded with two antibacterial synthetic peptides,Pac-525 or KSL-W was developed and characterized via scanning electron microscopy(SEM),porosity measurement,swelling and mechanical tests.The results showed that the MC scaffold embedded with smooth and compact PLGA microspheres had a positive effect on cell growth and also had antibacterial properties.Through toxicity analysis,cell morphology and proliferation analysis and alkaline phosphatase evaluation,the antibacterial scaffolds showed excellent biocompatibility and osteogenic activity.The antibacterial property evaluated with Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli suggested that the sustained release of Pac-525 or KSL-W from the scaffolds could inhibit the bacterial growth aforementioned in the long term.Our results suggest that the antimicrobial peptides-loaded MC bone scaffold has good antibacterial and osteogenic activities,thus providing a great promise for the treatment of infective bone defects. | Yuzhu He Yahui Jin Xiaoxia Ying Qiong Wu Shenglian Yao Yuanyuan Li Huiying Liu Guowu Ma Xiumei Wang | 2020 | Regenerative Biomaterials2020,7,5: | 3 |

| 18 | Comparative transcriptome and proteome analysis of lily clones inoculated with Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. lilii显示文摘Basal bulb rot is the major factor restricting the production of lily,caused by Fusarium oxysporum f.sp.lilii.To systematically analyze the transcriptomic and proteomic responses of lily clones to F.oxysporum,we constructed six RNA-seq libraries and four iTRAQ proteomic libraries using lily resistant and susceptible clones sampled at 0,24 and 48 h post-inoculation(hpi)with F.oxysporum respectively.137,715 unigenes were generated,of which 7,667 were differentially expressed.1,679 and 4,051 differentially expressed genes(DEGs)between resistant and susceptible clones were isolated from samples collected at 0 and 48 hpi.Four hundred and thirty three and 155 DEGs were identified in resistant clones sampled at 24 and 48 hpi separately while 550 and 799 DEGs were isolated in the susceptible clones sampled at 24 and 48 hpi respectively.The results of iTRAQ analysis revealed 7,482 proteins in resistant and susceptible clones.Data analysis of transcriptome and proteome indicated that 5,735 proteins corresponded to mRNAs.Three hundred and sixteen and 1,052 DEGs had corresponding DEPs.At 48 hpi,the resistant clones showed 155 DEGs and 108 corresponding DEPs,while the susceptible clones showed 799 DEGs and 316 corresponding DEPs.In general,these results enhance comprehension of the defense response of lily resistant clones to F.oxysporum infection and provide valuable sequence data for studying the resistance mechanism. | Yiping Zhang Xin Wang Chunlian Jin Feng Xu Xiumei Yang Yalian Jiang Lifang Zhang Lihua Wang Yan Su Lulin Ma Jihua Wang | 2022 | Ornamental Plant Research2022,2,1: | 1 |
