1First mass measurement of short-lived nuclides at HIRFL-CSR显示文摘Recent commissioning of the HIRFL-CSR has demonstrated its ability to perform direct mass measurement for short-lived nuclides. Projectile fragments produced by the 78Kr ions at 481.88 MeV/u were separated with the new radioactive beam line in Lanzhou (RIBLL2), and injected into and stored in the experimental storage ring (CSRe). By operating the CSRe as an isochronous mass spectrometry, a typical mass resolution around 2.0×10?5 has been achieved. The masses for 63Ge, 65As and 67Se were measured for the first time. The measured masses are compared with theoretical predictions and the location of the proton drip-line for As isotopes is discussed. 2Thermodynamic simulations of pellet internal target in CSRm显示文摘Pellet target with a close to 4π detector configuration is an optional effective internal target in the storage ring CSRm. Thermodynamic simulations are carried out to describe the hydrogen microsphere behaviors in the whole moving path, and the temperature and mass changes of hydrogen microspheres are clearly indicated. 3Biogenic synthesis of silver nanoparticles using ginger(Zingiber officinale)extract and their antibacterial properties against aquatic pathogens显示文摘With the development of aquaculture, there is an urgent demand for an alternative antibacterial agent to reduce the drug resistance and environmental pollution caused by the abuse of antibiotics. Recently, silver nanoparticles(Ag NPs) have been viewed as a novel type of antimicrobial agents due to their unique advantages. In this study,Ag NPs were biosynthesized with the ginger rhizomes extract. The biosynthesized Ag NPs were characterised by UV–visible spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction and fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. Furthermore, the antimicrobial activities of the Ag NPs were fully analyzed against six typical aquatic pathogens. The results indicated that the components in ginger extract could function as the chemical reductant to synthesize Ag NPs. Moreover, compared with the Ag NPs synthesized by chemical methods, the biosynthesized Ag NPs were smaller, and had higher stability and antibacterial activity. 8Genetic relationship and pedigree of Chinese watermelon varieties based on diversity of perfect SNPs显示文摘Watermelon(Citrullus lanatus)is one of the world’s most important fruit crops,and China produces the most watermelons in the world.Recently,a watermelon variome consisting of 414 key resequenced accessions was reported.However,the genetic relationships and pedigree of Chinese watermelon varieties in the seed market remain unclear.In this study,241 evenly distributed perfect single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs)derived from the watermelon variome were selected for variety identification.The diversity of 247 Chinese watermelon varieties was identified based on their SNP genotypes.The 247 watermelon varieties were clustered into five subpopulations:the East Asian ecotype,intermediate ecotype,small fruit with red flesh ecotype,small fruit with yellow flesh ecotype,and American ecotype.We further established the pedigree of four subpopulations,of which JingXinNo.1,ZaoChunHongYu,HuangXiaoYu and XiaoLan,and Sugarlee were the main doner of the East Asian ecotype,small fruit with red flesh ecotype,small fruit with yellow flesh ecotype,and American ecotype,respectively.Thirty-two core SNPs were selected and applied in watermelon variety identification.They were also validated by the Kompetitive allele-specific PCR(KASPar)platform.The present study furthered our understanding of the genetic relationships and pedigree of watermelon varieties in China,and will help to manage the plant variety protection in watermelon.Jingjing Yang Jian Zhang Hushan Du Hong Zhao Aijun Mao Xiaofei Zhang Luo Jiang Haiying Zhang Changlong Wen Yong Xu 2022Horticultural Plant Journal2022,8,4:2

11Genetic variations in colorectal cancer risk and clinical outcome显示文摘Colorectal cancer(CRC)has an apparent hereditary component,as evidenced by the well-characterized genetic syndromes and family history associated with the increased risk of this disease.However,in a large fraction of CRC cases,no known genetic syndrome or family history can be identified,suggesting the presence of'missing heritability'in CRC etiology.The genome-wide association study(GWAS)platform has led to the identification of multiple replicable common genetic variants associated with CRC risk.These newly discovered genetic variations might account for a portion of the missing heritability.Here,we summarize the recent GWASs related to newly identified genetic variants associated with CRC risk and clinical outcome.The findings from these studies suggest that there is a lack of understanding of the mechanism of many single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs)that are associated with CRC.In addition,the utility of SNPs as prognostic markers of CRC in clinical settings remains to be further assessed.Finally,the currently validated SNPs explain only a small fraction of total heritability in complex-trait diseases like CRC.Thus,the'missing heritability'still needs to be explored further.Future epidemiological and functional investigations of these variants will add to our understanding of CRC pathogenesis,and may ultimately lead to individualized strategies for prevention and treatment of CRC.Kejin Zhang Jesse Civan Sushmita Mukherjee Fenil Patel Hushan Yang 2014World Journal of Gastroenterology2014,20,15:1

14Suppressed light-induced phase transition of CsPbBr_(2)I: Strategies, progress and applications in the photovoltaic field显示文摘The rapid rise in the power conversion efficiency(PCE)of CsPbBr_(2)I-based perovskite solar cells(PSCs),from 4.7%in 2016 to 11.08%in 2020,render it a promising material for use in photovoltaic devices.However,the phase stability and current hysteresis caused by photo-induced phase segregation in CsPbBr_(2)I represent major obstacles to further improvements in the PCE for such devices.In this review,we describe the basic structure and optical properties of CsPbBr_(2)I,and systematically elaborate on the mechanism of the phase transition.We then discuss the strategies in progress to suppress phase transition in CsPbBr_(2)I,and their potential application in the photovoltaic field.Finally,challenges and application prospects for CsPbBr2I PSCs are summarized in the final section of this article.Hushan Zhang Zhiwen Jin 2021Journal of Semiconductors2021,42,7:1

16Effects of a Potential Autochthonous Probiotic Bacillus subtilis 2-1 on the Growth and Intestinal Microbiota of Juvenile Sea Cucumber,Apostichopus japonicus Selenka显示文摘The effects of Bacillus subtilis 2-1 from the intestine of healthy sea cucumber on the growth, digestive enzyme activities and intestinal microbiota of juvenile sea cucumber(Apostichopus japonicus) were determined in the present study. Sea cucumber was fed with Sargassum thunbergii powder supplemented with B. subtilis 2-1 at different concentrations varying among 0(control), 10~5, 10~7, and 10~9 CFU g^(-1) for 8 weeks. Results showed that the growth performance and intestinal amylase and trypsin activities were significantly increased by dietary B. subtilis 2-1 at 10~9 CFU g^(-1)(P < 0.05). However, dietary B. subtilis 2-1 had no significant influence on the lipase activity in sea cucumber(P > 0.05). The polymerase chain reaction denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis and 16S rRNA gene sequencing analysis indicated that dietary B. subtilis 2-1 at 105 and 107 CFU g^(-1) inhibited most of the Proteobacteria including those in genus Vibrio. Dietary B. subtilis 2-1 at 10~9 CFU g^(-1) not only decreased the abundance and species of genus Vibrio, but also increased the intensity of genera Psychrobacter and Bacillus. 19An Encoder with Speed over 40Gbps for RC LDPC Codes with Rates Up to 0.96显示文摘We propose a class of Rate-compatible(RC) Low-density parity-check(LDPC) codes with a very wide range of code rates. To widen the range of rates, we have developed an optimal transmission scheme to push the upper bound of code rates to 0.96. Characterized by a parity check matrix in a dual-diagonal form, the proposed RC LDPC code can be encoded in linear time. Constructed from shifted identity sub-matrices, the proposed codes are particularly well-suited for the high-speed implementation of parallel encoders. Furthermore, the encoder can be implemented efficiently with several left circular shifters and XOR gates. To maximize the encoding speed, we have proposed a q-parallel encoder architecture, where q is the size of each sub-matrix.
