| 8 | Litchi detection in the field using an improved YOLOv3 model显示文摘Due to the illumination,complex background,and occlusion of the litchi fruits,the accurate detection of litchi in the field is extremely challenging.In order to solve the problem of the low recognition rate of litchi-picking robots in field conditions,this study was inspired by the ideas of ResNet and dense convolution and proposed an improved feature-extraction network model named“YOLOv3_Litchi”,combining dense connections and residuals for the detection of litchis.Firstly,based on the traditional YOLOv3 deep convolution neural network and regression detection,the idea of residuals was to be put into the feature-extraction network to effectively avoid the problem of decreasing detection accuracy due to the excessive depths of the network layers.Secondly,under the premise of a good receptive field and high detection accuracy,the large convolution kernel was replaced by a small convolution kernel in the shallow layer of the network,thereby effectively reducing the model parameters.Finally,the idea of feature pyramid was used to design the network to identify the small target litchi to ensure that the shallow features were not lost and simultaneously reduced the model parameters.Experimental results show that the improved YOLOv3_Litchi model achieved better results than the classic YOLOv3_DarkNet-53 model and the YOLOv3_Tiny model.The mean average precision(mAP)score was 97.07%,which was higher than the 95.18%mAP of the YOLOv3_DarkNet-53 model and the 94.48%mAP of the YOLOv3_Tiny model.The frame frequency was 58 fps,which was higher than 29 fps of the YOLOv3_DarkNet-53 model.Compared with the classic Faster R-CNN model with the feature-extraction network VGG16,the mAP was increased by 1%,and the FPS advantage was obvious.Compared with the classic single shot multibox detector(SSD)model,both the accuracy and the running efficiency were improved.The results show that the improved YOLOv3_Litchi model had stronger robustness,higher detection accuracy,and less computational complexity for the identification of litchi in the field conditions,which should be helpful for litchi orchard precision management. | Hongxing Peng Chao Xue Yuanyuan Shao Keyin Chen Huanai Liu Juntao Xiong Hu Chen Zongmei Gao Zhengang Yang | 2022 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2022,15,2: | 0 |

| 12 | NEW INSIGHTS INTO THE PHYLOGENY AND SPECIATION OF KUMQUAT (FORTUNELLA SPP.) | 14 | Directional radiation enhancement of nanowire quantum dots based on line-array plasmonic antenna coupling显示文摘The integration of a single III-V semiconductor quantum dot with a plasmonic nanoantenna as a means toward efficient single-photon sources(SPEs)is limited due to its weak,wide-angle emission,and low emission rate.These limitations can be overcome by designing a unique linear array of plasmonic antenna structures coupled to nanowire-based quantum dot(NWQD)emitters.A linear array of a coupled device composed of multiple plasmonic antennas at an optimum distance from the quantum dot emitter can be designed to enhance the directionality and the spontaneous emission rate of an integrated single-photon emitter.Finite element modeling has been used to design these compact structures with high quantum efficiencies and directionality of single-photon emission while retaining the advantages of NWQDs.The Purcell enhancement factor of these structures approaches 66.1 and 145.8,respectively.Compared to a single NWQD of the same diameter,the fluorescence was enhanced by 1054 and 2916times.The predicted collection efficiencies approach 85%(numerical aperture,NA=0.5)and 80%(NA=0.5),respectively.Unlike single-photon emitters based on bulky conventional optics,this is a unique nanophotonic single-emission photon source based on a line-array configuration that uses a surface plasmon-enhanced design with minimum dissipation.The designs presented in this work will facilitate the development of SPEs with potential integration with semiconductor optoelectronics. | PEIHANG LI PENG YU JIACHEN SUN ZHIMIN JING JIANG WU LUCAS V.BESTEIRO ROBERTO CAPUTO ARUP NEOGI HONGXING XU ZHIMING WANG | 2022 | Photonics Research2022,10,9: | 0 |

| 17 | Towards Personalized Intervention for Alzheimer's Disease显示文摘Alzheimer's disease(AD) remains to be a grand challenge for the international community despite over a century of exploration. A key factor likely accounting for such a situation is the vast heterogeneity in the disease etiology, which involves very complex and divergent pathways.Therefore, intervention strategies shall be tailored for subgroups of AD patients. Both demographic and in-depth information is needed for patient stratification. The demographic information includes primarily APOE genotype, age, gender, education, environmental exposure, life style, and medical history, whereas in-depth information stems from genome sequencing, brain imaging, peripheral biomarkers, and even functional assays on neurons derived from patient-specific induced pluripotent cells(i PSCs). | 20 | Crustal structure in the Anyuan Coal Mine and its adjacent areas of Jiangxi Province by P-wave receiver functions显示文摘We collected high-quality teleseismic events recorded by 12 broadband seismographs deployed in the Anyuan Coal Mine and its adjacent areas in Pingxiang City,Jiangxi Province for nearly two years.The H-κ-c stacking method was employed to obtain the crustal thickness and Poisson's ratio distribution,then the characteristics of crustal structure below the stations were obtained by using the time-domain linear inversion method.The crustal thickness in the Anyuan Coal Mine and its adjacent areas ranges from approximately 32~35 km,with an average thickness of 33 km,which is consistent with the crustal thickness results in South China from previous studies using the receiver function method.The average Poisson's ratio of the crustal bulk composition in the study area varies between 0.22 and 0.25,which is lower than the global value with a 0.27 average,indicating a predominantly intermediate-acidic or felsic crustal composition.There is a weak negative correlation between Poisson's ratio and crustal thickness estimates in the Anyuan Coal Mine and its adjacent areas,suggesting that the absence of mafic-ultramafic materials in the lower crust is associated with the process of crustal delamination.The velocity inversion results indicate that the crustal structure including three velocity discontinuity interfaces,with the first at a depth of approximately 1.5 km,the second at about 10~15 km,and the third being the Moho.The study also indicates that the results obtained by the H-κ-c stacking method are significantly better than those obtained by the H-κmethod,effectively reducing the standard deviation and dispersion of crustal thickness and vP/vSratio. | Xingmian Zhang Meng Gong Jian Lü Hongxing Li Jie Hu Junwen He Jianhua Peng Bingyue Liu | 2024 | Earthquake Research Advances2024,4,1: | 0 |
