GSA:Genome Sequence Archive显示文摘With the rapid development of sequencing technologies towards higher throughput and lower cost, sequence data are generated at an unprecedentedly explosive rate. To provide an efficient and easy-to-use platform for managing huge sequence data, here we present Genome Sequence Archive(GSA; http://gffzzdbc7b6aaae734bddhc0bbubb9o9no6cxc.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/gsa or http://gffzz4eaf941a184140e3hc0bbubb9o9no6cxc.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn), a data repository for archiving raw sequence data. In compliance with data standards and structures of the International Nucleotide Sequence Database Collaboration(INSDC), GSA adopts four data objects(Bio Project, Bio Sample,Experiment, and Run) for data organization, accepts raw sequence reads produced by a variety of sequencing platforms, stores both sequence reads and metadata submitted from all over the world, and makes all these data publicly available to worldwide scientific communities. In the era of big data, GSA is not only an important complement to existing INSDC members by alleviating the increasing burdens of handling sequence data deluge, but also takes the significant responsibility for global big data archive and provides free unrestricted access to all publicly available data in support of research activities throughout the world. | Yanqing Wang Fuhai Song Junwei Zhu Sisi Zhang Yadong Yang Tingting Chen Bixia Tang Lili Dong Nan Ding Qian Zhang Zhouxian Bai Xunong Dong Huanxin Chen Mingyuan Sun Shuang Zhai Yubin Sun Lei Yu Li Lan Jingfa Xiao Xiangdong Fang Hongxing Lei Zhang Zhang Wenming Zhao | 2017 | Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2017,15,1: | 13
Intramolecular aromatic-ring stacking interaction of ternary Zn(UTP)L^(2-) complexes显示文摘THE mechanism of the action of the classic platinum antitumor drugs can be interpreted accord-ing to their bidentate, bifunctional interaction with the DNA of the tumor cell, resulting in in-hibition of the DNA replication. Recently, it was found that a new class of compounds withthe general formula cis-[Pt(NH3)2(N-het)Cl]Cl(N-het is a heteroaromatic N-base like pyri-dine) show effective antitumor activities. However, two possible mechanisms of action | LE Xueyi, WU Fuhai, SONG Fenyun and Jl Liangnian1.Department of Chemistry, Zhongshan University, Guangzhou 510275, China State Key Laboratory for Oxo Synthesis and Selective Oxidation, Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Lanzhou 730000, China 2. | 5 | Study on Impacts of pH Value on Paulownia Wood Color显示文摘Impacts of acid and alkali on paulownia wood are studied, and the effects of weak alkali solutionon stain prevention of paulownia wood are tested and analyzed. It shows that pH value affects paulowniawood color, and that white value of paulownia wood is prone to decrease and chromatism rises underacidity condition. Under alkalescence condition, whiteness of paulownia wood rises and chromatismdecreases, color and luster obviously tend to be bright. The alkali solution with concentration of 0.25% canpromote the penetrability of paulownia wood, dissolve some extractives containing stain precursor chemicals, strengthen stain prevention of paulownia wood, but can not contaminate board surface. Anti-stain reagenthas effect on prevention stain of paulownia wood, but only using it for controlling paulownia wood stainwill induce stain-returning phenomenon. Using both weak alkali solution and anti-stain reagent has bettereffect than just using reagent, the treatment by concentration of 0.25% weak alkali solution with anti-stainreagent can make controlling effect even both inside and outside. | CHANG Delong SONG Zhanqian HU Weihua HUANG Wenhao LI Fuhai ZHANG Yunling | 2006 | Chinese Forestry Science and Technology2006,5,1: | 0
Web Resources for Stem Cell Research显示文摘In this short review, we have presented a brief overview on major web resources relevant to stem cell research. To facilitate more efficient use of these resources, we have provided a preliminary rating based on our own user experience of the overall quality for each resource. We plan to update the information on an annual basis. | Ting Wei Xing Peng Lili Ye Jiajia Wang Fuhai Song Zhouxian Bai Guangchun Han Fengmin Ji Hongxing Lei | 2015 | Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2015,13,1: | 0
Towards Personalized Intervention for Alzheimer's Disease显示文摘Alzheimer's disease(AD) remains to be a grand challenge for the international community despite over a century of exploration. A key factor likely accounting for such a situation is the vast heterogeneity in the disease etiology, which involves very complex and divergent pathways. Therefore, intervention strategies shall be tailored for subgroups of AD patients. Both demographic and in-depth information is needed for patient stratification. The demographic information includes primarily APOE genotype, age, gender, education, environmental exposure, life style, and medical history, whereas in-depth information stems from genome sequencing, brain imaging, peripheral biomarkers, and even functional assays on neurons derived from patient-specific induced pluripotent cells(i PSCs). Comprehensive information collection, better understanding of the disease mechanisms, and diversified strategies of drug development would help with more effective intervention in the foreseeable future. | Xing Peng Peiqi Xing Xiuhui Li Ying Qian Fuhai Song Zhouxian Bai Guangchun Han Hongxing Lei | 2016 | Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2016,14,5: | 0
Genomics in Neurological Disorders显示文摘Neurological disorders comprise a variety of complex diseases in the central nervous system, which can be roughly classified as neurodegenerative diseases and psychiatric disorders. The basic and translational research of neurological disorders has been hindered by the difficulty in accessing the pathological center(i.e., the brain) in live patients. The rapid advancement of sequencing and array technologies has made it possible to investigate the disease mechanism and biomarkers from a systems perspective. In this review, recent progresses in the discovery of novel risk genes, treatment targets and peripheral biomarkers employing genomic technologies will be discussed. Our major focus will be on two of the most heavily investigated neurological disorders, namely Alzheimer's disease and autism spectrum disorder. | Guangchun Han Jiya Sun Jiajia Wang Zhouxian Bai Fuhai Song Hongxing Lei | 2014 | Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2014,12,4: | 0
