| 2 | Heavy mineral assemblage characteristics and the Cenozoic paleogeographic evolution in southwestern Qaidam Basin显示文摘Based on the analysis of heavy mineral assemblages in Cenozoic southwestern Qaidam Basin, we found that different areas have variable heavy mineral assemblage characteristics, which suggested that there were two source areas—the Altyn Mountains and the Qimen Tagh-East Kunlun Mountains. In Ganchaigou-Shizigou-Huatugou(Area A), which was mainly source from the Altyn Mountains, its heavy minerals were mainly composed of zircon, Ti-oxides, and wollastonite in the Paleoceneearly Eocene and mainly of unstable minerals, especially amphibole, in the middle Eocene-Oligene. Since the late OligoceneMiocene, the heavy minerals were still mainly unstable minerals, but the content of epidote increased and the content of amphibole decreased. In Qigequan-Hongliuquan(Area B), which was the mixed source from the Altyn Mountains and the Qimen Tagh-East Kunlun Mountains, its heavy minerals were mainly garnet, epidote, and amphibole. The source of LücaotanDongchaishan-Kunbei(Area C) was mainly from the Qimen Tagh-East Kunlun Mountains, heavy minerals in the sediments in Area C were mainly zircon and Ti-oxides in Paleogene and garnet, epidote, and amphibole in Neogene. In Yuejin-Youshashan(Area D), where the stable minerals and unstable minerals were present simultaneously, the heavy mineral assemblages was controlled by multi-direction source. The variation of heavy mineral assemblages in southwestern Qaidam Basin shows that Altyn Mountains was of low-lying topographic relief in Paleocene-early Eocene, and the rapid uplift of Altyn Mountains started from the middle Eocene. In Paleogene, the Altyn Tagh Fault had a slow strike-slip velocity, but the strike-slip velocity increased greatly since the late Oligocene, leading to a strike-slip displacement above 300 km since Neogene. | 3 | Supplementary Tutoring for Compulsory Education Students in China:Status and Trends显示文摘Purpose-The purpose of this paper is to explore the current status of,and developmental trends affecting,the participation in supplementary tutoring by compulsory education students in China.Design/Approach/Methods-Based on the data from the China Family Panel Study(CFPS)conducted by the Peking University Institute of Social Science Survey in 2010,2012,2014,and 2016,the paper uses the method of multilevel linear model to comprehensively analyze problems involving a multilevel data structure.Findings-The paper finds that the proportion of compulsory education students participating in supplementary tutoring(and the expenditure on such tutoring)increased annually before declining in 2016.Students with higher socioeconomic status,higher school quality,and better academic performance have a higher tutoring participation rate and also spend more on tutoring.Students in China’s three northeastern provinces and eastern coastal areas have higher participation rates in tutoring and higher tutoring expenditures.Originality/Value-Supplementary tutoring in China already has its own developmental patterns and trends;however,few scholars have empirically studied the developmental patterns and trends of supplementary tutoring in compulsory education based on longitudinal survey data. | Haiping Xue Chenchen Fang | 2018 | ECNU Review of Education2018,1,3: | 5 |
| 4 | HMGB1 from Astrocytes Promotes EAE by Influencing the Immune Cell Infiltration-Associated Functions of BMECs in Mice显示文摘High mobility group box 1(HMGB1)has been reported to play an important role in experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis(EAE).Astrocytes are important components of neurovascular units and tightly appose the endothelial cells of microvessels by their perivascular endfeet and directly regulate the functions of the blood-brain barrier.Astrocytes express more HMGB1 during EAE while the exact roles of astrocytic HMGB1 in EAE have not been well elucidated.Here,using conditional-knockout mice,we found that astrocytic HMGB1 depletion decreased morbidity,delayed the onset time,and reduced the disease score and demyelination of EAE.Meanwhile,there were fewer immune cells,especially pathogenic T cells infiltration in the central nervous system of astrocytic HMGB1 conditional-knockout EAE mice,accompanied by up-regulated expression of the tight-junction protein Claudin5 and down-regulated expression of the cell adhesion molecules ICAM1 and VCAM1 in vivo.In vitro,HMGB1 released from astrocytes decreased Claudin5 while increased ICAM1 and VCAM1 expressed by brain microvascular endothelial cells(BMECs)through TLR4 or RAGE.Taken together,our results demonstrate that HMGB1 derived from astrocytes aggravates EAE by directly influencing the immune cell infiltration-associated functions of BMECs. | Junyu Shi Yifan Xiao Na Zhang Mengya Jiao Xuhuan Tang Chan Dai Chenchen Wang Yong Xu Zheng Tan Feili Gong Fang Zheng | 2022 | Neuroscience Bulletin2022,38,11: | 3 |
| 5 | Re-Examination of the Oil and Gas Origins in the Kekeya Gas Condensate Field,Northwest China——A Case Study of Hydrocarbon-Source Correlation Using Sophisticated Geochemical Methods显示文摘This work discussed the origins, alteration and accumulation processes of the oil and gas in the Kekeya gas condensate field based on molecular compositions, stable carbon isotopes, light hydrocarbons, diamondoid hydrocarbons and biomarker fingerprints. A comparison study is also made between the geochemical characteristics of the Kekeya hydrocarbons and typical marine and terrigenous hydrocarbons of the Tarim Basin. Natural gas from the Kekeya gas condensate field is derived from Middle–Lower Jurassic coal measures while the condensates are derived from Carboniferous–Permian marine source rocks with a higher maturity. In the study area, both natural gas and condensates have experienced severe water washing. A large amount of methane was dissolved into the water, resulting in a decrease in the dryness coefficient. Water washing also makes the carbon isotopic compositions of the natural gas more negative and partially reverse. Considering that the gas maturities are higher than once expected, gas generation intensity in the study area should be much stronger and the gas related to the Jurassic coal measures could promise a greater prospecting potential. As a result of evaporative fractionation, the Kekeya condensates are enriched in saturates and lack aromatics. Evaporative fractionation disguises the original terrigenous characteristics of the light hydrocarbons associated with the natural gas, making it appear marinesourced. Thus, alteration processes should be fully taken into consideration when gas–source correlations are carried out based on light hydrocarbons. With the condensates discovered in the study area all being 'migration phase', the pre-salt Cretaceous and Jurassic reservoirs may promise great exploration potential for the 'residual phase' hydrocarbons. | 9 | Design and in-situ construct BiOI/Bi/TiO_(2)photocatalysts with metal-mediated heterostructures employing oxygen vacancies in TiO_(2)nanosheets显示文摘The conventional p-n heterojunction photocatalysts suffer from the incompatibility between the interfacial charge transfer efficiency and the redox ability of charge carriers.To optimize the interfacial charge transfer of the conventional BiOI/TiO_(2) p-n photocatalyst,we synthesized the BiOI/Bi/TiO_(2) ternary photocatalyst with sandwiched metallic bismuth(Bi~0)by the oxygen-vacancy assisted method.The DFT calculation and structural characterizations confirmed the reaction of the electron-rich oxygen vacancies in the 2D-TiO_(2) nanosheets(TiO_(2)-NS)with the adsorbed BiO~+species.This reaction broke the Bi-O bonds to form Bi^(0) nanoparticles in-situ at the interface but still maintained the p-n heterojunction well.The NO-TPD and XRD analyses for samples correlated the Bi~0 formation with the oxygen vacancy concentrations well.The sandwiched Bi~0 functioned as an electronic transfer mediator like that in the Z-scheme heterostructure.Comparing with 0.20 BiOI/TiO_(2)-NP(NP,Nanoparticles),0.20 BiOI/Bi/TiO_(2)-NS-a(NS,Nanosheet)showed a much improved catalytic performance,i.e.,duplicated apparent quantum yield(AQY)and triplicated reaction rate constant(k).Also,the formation mechanism and the reaction mechanism were investigated in detail.This work provides a new strategy for the improving of the conventional p-n photocatalysts and new insights into the nature of the photocatalysis. | Chenchen Zhang Wenbin Chen Dairong Hu Hanjie Xie Yibing Song Binbin Luo Yiwen Fang Wenhua Gao Ziyi Zhong | 2022 | Green Energy & Environment2022,7,4: | 0 |
| 10 | The effect of volatile components in oil on evolutionary character- istics of diamondoids during oil thermal pyrolysis显示文摘On the basis of the results of simulation experiments, now we better understand the contribution of high carbon number hydrocarbons to diamondoid generation during thermal pyrolysis of crude oil and its sub-fractions(saturated, aromatic, resin, and asphalene fractions). However, little is known about the effect of volatile components in oil on diamondoid generation and diamondoid indices due to the lack of attention to these components in experiments. In this study, the effect of volatile components in oil on diamondoid generation and maturity indices was investigated by the pyrolysis simulation experiments on a normal crude oil from the HD23 well of the Tarim Basin and its residual oil after artificial volatilization, combined with quantitative analysis of diamondoids. The results indicate that the volatile components(≤n C12) in oil have an obvious contribution to the generation of adamantanes, which occurs mainly in the early stage of oil cracking(Easy Ro<1.0%), and influences the variations in maturity indices of adamantanes; but they have no obvious effect on the generation and maturity indices of diamantanes. | 13 | Highly efficient 1D p-Te/2D n-Bi_(2)Te_(3) heterojunction self-driven broadband photodetector显示文摘Broadband photodetectors with self-driven functions have attracted intensive scientific interest due to their low energy consumption and high optical gain.However,high-performance broadband self-driven photodetectors are still a significant challenge due to the complex fabrication processes,environmental toxicity,high production costs of traditional 3D semiconductor materials and sharply raised contact resistance,severe interfacial recombination of 2D materials and 2D/3D mixed dimension heterojunction.Here,1D p-Te/2D n-Bi_(2)Te_(3) heterojunctions are constructed by the simple and low-cost hydrothermal method.1D p-Te/2D n-Bi_(2)Te_(3) devices are applied in photoelectrochemical(PEC)photodetectors,with their high performance attributed to the good interfacial contacts reducing interface recombination.The device demonstrated a broad wavelength range(365–850 nm)with an Iph/Idark as high as 377.45.The R_(i),D^(*),and external quantum efficiency(EQE)values of the device were as high as 12.07 mA/W,5.87×10^(10) Jones,and 41.05%,respectively,which were significantly better than the performance of the prepared Bi_(2)Te_(3) and Te devices.A comparison of the freshly fabricated device and the device after 30 days showed that 1D p-Te/2D n-Bi_(2)Te_(3) had excellent stability with only 18.08%decay of photocurrent.It is anticipated that this work will provide new emerging material for future design and preparation of a high-performance self-driven broadband photodetector. | Chenchen Zhao Dongbo Wang Jiamu Cao Zhi Zeng Bingke Zhang Jingwen Pan Donghao Liu Sihang Liu Shujie Jiao Tianyuan Chen Gang Liu Xuan Fang Liancheng Zhao Jinzhong Wang | 2024 | Nano Research2024,17,3: | 0 |

| 15 | Ultralow-strain Ti substituted Mn-vacancy layered oxides with enhanced stability for sodium-ion batteries显示文摘Anionic redox reaction(ARR) in layered manganese-based oxide cathodes has been considered as an effective strategy to improve the energy density of sodium-ion batteries.Mn-vacancy layered oxides deliver a high ARR-related capacity with small voltage hysteresis,however,they are limited by rapid capacity degradation and poor rate capability,which arise from inferior structure changes due to repeated redox of lattice oxygen.Herein,redox-inactive Ti^(4+)is introduced to substitute partial Mn^(4+)to form Na_(2) Ti_(0.5)Mn_(2.5)O_7(Na_(4/7)[□_(1/7)Ti_(1/7)Mn_(5/7)]O_(2),□ for Mn vacancies),which can effectively restrain unfavorable interlayer gliding of Na2 Mn307 at high charge voltages,as reflected by an ultralow-strain volume variation of 0.11%.There is no irreversible O_(2) evolution observed in Na_(2) Ti_(0.5)Mn_(2.5)O_7 upon charging,which stabilizes the lattice oxygen and ensures the overall structural stability.It exhibits increased capacity retention of 79.1% after 60 cycles in Na_(2) Ti_(0.5)Mn_(2.5)O_7(17.1% in Na_(2) Mn_(3) O_7) and good rate capability(92.1 mAh g^(-1) at 0.5 A g^(-1)).This investigation provides new insights into designing high-performance cathode materials with reversible ARR and structural stability for SIBs. | Yanchen Liu Chenchen Wang Meng Ren Hengyi Fang Zhuoliang Jiang Fujun Li | 2021 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,12: | 0 |
