2Ferrites boosting photocatalytic hydrogen evolution over graphitic carbon nitride: a case study of(Co, Ni)Fe_2O_4 modification显示文摘The charge carrier separation and surface catalytic redox reactions are of primary importance as elementary steps in photocatalytic hydrogen evolution. In this study, both of these two processes in photocatalytic hydrogen evolution over graphitic carbon nitride(g-C_3N_4) were greatly promoted with the earth-abundant ferrites(Co,Ni)Fe_2O_4modification. Co Fe_2O_4 was further demonstrated to be a better modifier for g-C_3N_4 as compared to Ni Fe_2O_4,due to the more efficient charge carrier transfer as well as superior surface oxidative catalytic activity. When together loading Co Fe_2O_4 and reductive hydrogen production electrocatalyst Pt onto g-C_3N_4, the obtained Pt/g-C_3N_4/Co Fe_2O_4 photocatalyst achieved visible-light(λ>420 nm) hydrogen production rate 3.5 times as high as Pt/g-C_3N_4, with the apparent quantum yield reaching 3.35 % at 420 nm.Jie Chen Daming Zhao Zhidan Diao Miao Wang Shaohua Shen 2016Science Bulletin2016,61,4:10
3Validation of dynamic cavitation model for unsteady cavitating flow on NACA66显示文摘Unsteady cavitating flow is extremely complicated and brings more serious damages and unignorable problems compared with steady cavitating flow.CFD has become a practical way to model cavitation;however,the popularly used full cavitation model cannot reflect the pressure-change that the bubble experiences during its life path in the highly unsteady flow like cloud cavitating.Thus a dynamic cavitation model(DCM)is proposed and it has been considered to have not only the first-order pressure effects but also zero-order effect and can provide greater insight into the physical process of bubble producing,developing and collapsing compared to the traditional cavitation model.DCM has already been validated for steady cavitating flow,and the results were reported.Furthermore,DCM is designed and supposed to be more accurate and efficient in modeling unsteady cavitating flow,which is also the purpose of this paper.The basic characteristic of the unsteady cavitating flow,such as the vapor volume fraction distribution and the evolution of pressure amplitude and frequency at different locations of the hydrofoil,are carefully studied to validate DCM.It is found that not only these characteristics mentioned above accord well with the experimental results,but also some detailed transient flow information is depicted,including the re-entrant jet flow that caused the shedding of the cavity,and the phenomenon of two-peak pressure fluctuation in the vicinity of the cavity closure in a cycle.The numerical results validate the capability of DCM for the application of modeling the complicated unsteady cavitating flow.ZHANG XiaoBin ZHANG Wei CHEN JianYe QIU LiMin SUN DaMing 2014Science China(Technological Sciences)2014,57,4:8
4Molecular genetic diversity of bacteria in the bottom section of arctic sea ice from the Canada Basin显示文摘PCR-DGGE approach was used to analyze bacterial diversity in the bottom section of seven arctic sea ice samples colleted from the Canada Basin. Thirty-two 16S rDNA sequences were obtained from prominent DGGE bands. The closest relatives of these sequences are found to be those of cultivated or uncultured bacteria from antarctic or arctic sea ice. Phylogenetic analysis clustered these sequences or phylotypes within α- proteobacteria, γ-proteobacteria and CFB (cytophaga-flexibacter-bacteroides) group. Sequences belonging to γ-proteobacteria were dominant and members of the CFB group were highly abundant. 5Influences of pulse electric current treatment on solidification microstructures and mechanical properties of Al-Si piston alloys显示文摘Three kinds of Al-Si piston alloys were prepared and subjected to pulse electric current treatment (PECT)at different pouring temperatures.Some aspects of the solidification microstructures were examined including the morphology and the distribution of the matrix and the secondary phases by using of optical microscopy(OM),SEM and EDS methods.Results indicate that PECT can refine the grains of a-Al in the alloys as effectively as chemical modification by sodium salt.The processing parameters of PECT on the multi-component Al-Si alloys were then optimized through the testing of tensile strength,elongation and microhardness of the prepared alloys.A new theory was put forward to explain the mechanism of PECT.Ding Hongsheng Zhang Yong Jiang Sanyong Chen Ruirun Zhao Zhilong Guo Jingjie Xu Daming Fu Hengzhi 2009China Foundry2009,6,1:6
6Feed intake prediction model for group fish using the MEA-BP neural network in intensive aquaculture显示文摘In aquaculture,the accurate prediction of feed intake for group fish is considered to be crucial to any feeding system.Previous studies mainly used mathematical statistics to establish the mapping relationship between feed intake and influencing factors.The result was easily influenced by subjective experience.To solve the above issues,this paper proposed a feed intake prediction model for group fish using the back-propagation neural network(BPNN)and mind evolutionary algorithm(MEA).Firstly,four factors,including water temperature,dissolved oxygen,the average fish weight and the number of fish were selected as the input of the BPNN model.Secondly,the initial weight and threshold of the BPNN were optimized by the MEA to improve the matching precision.Finally,the prediction model was achieved after training.Experimental results showed that the correlation coefficient between the predicted and measured values reached 0.96.And the root mean squared error,mean square error,mean absolute error,mean absolute percent error of the model was 6.89,47.53,6.17 and 0.04,respectively.In addition,the proposed method also had the better nonlinear fitting ability than BPNN and GA-BP.By using an intelligent optimization algorithm,the mapping relationship between fish intake and environmental factors was automatically established,thus avoiding the subjectivity of traditional methods.Therefore,it can lay a theoretical foundation for the development of intelligent feeding equipment and meet the needs of the smart fishery.Lan Chen Xinting Yang Chuanheng Sun Yizhong Wang Daming Xu Chao Zhou 2020Information Processing in Agriculture2020,7,2:5
7A Novel Hybrid Point Defect of Oxygen Vacancy and Phosphorus Doping in TiO_(2)Anode for High-Performance Sodium Ion Capacitor显示文摘Although sodium ion capacitors(SICs)are considered as one of the most promising electrochemical energy storage devices(organic electrolyte batteries,aqueous batteries and supercapacitor,etc.)due to the combined merits of battery and capacitor,the slow reaction kinetics and low specific capacity of anode materials are the main challenges.Point defects including vacancies and heteroatoms doping have been widely used to improve the kinetics behavior and capacity of anode materials.However,the interaction between vacancies and heteroatoms doping have been seldomly investigated.In this study,a hybrid point defects(HPD)engineering has been proposed to synthesize TiO_(2) with both oxygen vacancies(OVs)and P-dopants(TiO_(2)/C-HPD).In comparison with sole OVs or P-doping treatments,the synergistic effects of HPD on its electrical conductivity and sodium storage performance have been clarified through the density func-tional theory calculation and sodium storage characterization.As expected,the kinetics and electronic conductivity of TiO_(2)/C-HPD3 are significantly improved,resulting in excellent rate performance and outstanding cycle stability.Moreover,the SICs assembled from TiO_(2)/C-HPD3 anode and nitrogen-doped porous carbon cathode show outstanding power/energy density,ultra-long life with good capacity retention.This work provides a novel point defect engineering perspective for the development of high-performance SICs electrode materials.Daming Chen Youchun Wu Zhiquan Huang Jian Chen 2022Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,10:3
8Sodium tungsten bronze(Na_(x)WO_(3))-doped near-infrared-shielding bulk glasses for energy-saving applications显示文摘Tungsten bronze coatings and films have attracted global attention for their applications in near-infrared(NIR)-shielding windows.However,they are unstable in strong ultraviolet,humid heat,alkaline and/or oxidizing environments and are difficult to be coated on glass surfaces with complex shape.Here,we address these limitations by doping sodium tungsten bronze(Na_(x)WO_(3))into bulk glasses using a simple glass melting method.X-ray diffraction,Raman spectroscopy,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,TEM and SEM-EDS characterization confirmed the presence of sodium tungsten bronze(Na_(x)WO_(3))functional units inside the 34SiO_(2)-38B_(2)O_(3)-28NaF glass matrix.Because the functional units are well protected by the glass matrix,the fabricated glasses are stable under hot,humid,oxidizing conditions,as well as under ambient conditions,with no change after 360 days.The NIR-shielding performance of these glasses can be adjusted to as high as 100%by varying WO_(x)concentration(2-8 mol%)and quenching temperature(1000-1400℃).With a content of 6 mol%WO_(x)and a quenching temperature of 1000℃,the bulk glass shows 63%transmission of visible light and only 11%transmission of NIR light at 1100 nm.Thermal insulation experiments show that the NIR-shielding performance of the glasses are far superior to commercial soda lime window glass or indium-doped tin oxide(ITO)glass,and comparable to cesium tungsten bronze coated glass.The novel bulk glasses have higher stability,simpler processing,and can be easily made into complex shapes,making them excellent alternative materials for energy-saving glasses.Guang Yang Yunhang Qi Daming Hu Haochen Wang Hongfei Chen Liangmiao Zhang Chuanxiang Cao Bin Liu Fang Xia Yanfeng Gao 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,30:3
9Direct Growth of Graphene on Silicon by Metal-Free Chemical Vapor Deposition显示文摘The metal-free synthesis of graphene on singlecrystal silicon substrates, the most common commercial semiconductor, is of paramount significance for many technological applications. In this work, we report the growth of graphene directly on an upside-down placed,single-crystal silicon substrate using metal-free, ambientpressure chemical vapor deposition. By controlling the growth temperature, in-plane propagation, edge-propagation, and core-propagation, the process of graphene growth on silicon can be identified. This process produces atomically flat monolayer or bilayer graphene domains, concave bilayer graphene domains, and bulging few-layer graphene domains. 10Study on the SiN_x/Al rear reflectance performance of crystalline silicon solar cells显示文摘The performance of internal rear surface reflectance of crystalline silicon solar cells is becoming more and more important with the decrease of thickness of the silicon wafers. In this paper PC1D was used to simulate the correlations between the rear surface reflectance and the electrical as well as optical properties of the solar cells. The results showed that the short circuit current, open circuit voltage and quantum efficiency were all enhanced with the increase of the rear reflectance. When the rear reflectance increased from 60% to 100%, the short circuit current, open circuit voltage and maximum output power were improved by about 0.128 A, 0.007 V, and 0.066 W, respectively. The internal quantum efficiency was improved by 39.9%, the external quantum increased by 17.4%, and the efficiency of the solar cells was enhanced by 0.4% at 1100 nm wavelength. 14Study on Ocular Torsion of V Patterns Strabismus显示文摘Purpose: To investigate the ocular torsion of V patterns.Methods:Twenty-two in hospital V patterns patients underwent bilateral inferior obliquemuscles myectomy for inferior oblique overacting and hortizon recti underwent recessresection procedure to correct hortizon devation. Objective cycloposition was assessed by fundus photograph before and 7 days after surgery in all cases. The photographs was stored in computer, and the disc-fovea angle was measured by means of drawing picture software. As well as the deviation, oblique muscle function was recorded before and after surgery.Result: Seventeen cases were bilateral ocular excyclotropia, 4 cases were monocular excyclotropia and one case was normal.The disc-fovea angle of right eyes and left eyes before operation is 15.67°+5.72° and 16.59°+6.69°.The comparisons among V patterns and normal average showed significant differences ( P < 0.001). The disc-fovea angle of right eyes and left eyes after operation is 5.24°+5.87° and 7.17°+5.40°. 16Preparation of Silicon Carbide with High Properties显示文摘In order to prepare silicon carbide with high properties, three kinds of SiC powders A, B, and C with different composition and two kinds of additives, which were Y2O3-A12O3 system and Y2O3-La2O3 system, were used in this experiment. The properties of hot-pressed SiC ceramics were measured. With the same additives, different SiC powder resulted in different properties. On the other hand, with the same SiC powder, increasing the amount of the additive Y2O3Al2O3 improved properties of SiC ceramics at room temperature, and increasing the amount of the additive Y2O3-La2O3 improved property SiC ceramics at elevated temperature.
