1Polymorphism-Dependent Dynamic Ultralong Organic Phosphorescence显示文摘Developing ultralong organic phosphorescence(UOP)materials with smart response to external stimuli is of great interest in photonics applications,whereas the manipulation of molecular stacking on tuning such dynamic UOP is still a formidable challenge.Herein,we have reported two polymorphs with distinct photoactivated dynamic UOP behavior based on a pyridine derivative for the first time.Our experiment revealed that the dynamic UOP behavior including photoactivation and deactivation feature is highly dependent on irradiation intensity and environmental atmosphere.Additionally,given the unique dynamic UOP feature,these phosphors have been successfully applied to phosphorescence-dependent molecular logic gate and timing data storage.This result not only paves a way to design smart functional materials but also expands the scope of the applications on organic phosphorescence materials.Mingxing Gu Huifang Shi Kun Ling Anqi Lv Kaiwei Huang Manjeet Singh He Wang Long Gu Wei Yao Zhongfu An Huili Ma Wei Huang 2020Research2020,,1:5
2Optimization of broadband omnidirectional antireflection coatings for solar cells显示文摘Broadband and omnidirectional antireflection coating is generally an effective way to improve solar cell efficiency, because the destructive interference between the reflected and incident light can maximize the light transmission into the absorption layer. In this paper, we report the incident quantum efficiency ηin, not incident energy or power, as the evaluation function by the ant colony algorithm optimization method, which is a swarm-based optimization method. Also, SPCTRL2 is proposed to be incorporated for accurate optimization because the solar irradiance on a receiver plane is dependent on position, season, and time. Cities of Quito, Beijing and Moscow are selected for two-and three-layer antireflective coating optimization over λ = [300,1100] nm and θ = [0°, 90°]. 3Color-tunable ultralong organic phosphorescence materials for visual UV-light detection显示文摘Ultralong organic phosphorescence(UOP)materials have roused considerable attention in the field of photonics and optoelectronics owing to the feature of long-lived emission lifetimes.However,to develop UOP materials with color-tunability is still a formidable challenge.Here,we report a class of UOP materials containing carbonyl,amino or amide groups,exhibiting colortunable persistent luminescence ranging from blue(458 nm)to yellow-green(508 nm)under different UV wavelength excitation.Taken theoretical and experimental results together,we conclude that the excitation dependent color-tunable UOP emission is ascribed to multiple emission centers from single molecular and aggregated states in crystal.Given color-tunable UOP feature,these materials are used to successfully realize visual UV-light detection.This finding not only provides a strategy to design new organic phosphorescent molecules with colorful emission,but also extends the scope of the applications of purely organic phosphorescent materials.Lifang Bian Huili Ma Wenpeng Ye Anqi Lv He Wang Wenyong Jia Long Gu Huifang Shi Zhongfu An Wei Huang 2020Science China Chemistry2020,63,10:3
4Impact of damping on high speed 850 nm VCSEL performance显示文摘High speed VCSELs are important optical devices in short-reach optical communication links and interconnects because of their low cost and high modulation speeds. In this paper, the impact of damping on the their static and dynamic characteristics is analyzed and demonstrated. Through the shallow corrosion of the top layer DBR, the VCSELs with different damping is designed and fabricated. With the increase of the surface etch depth from 0 to ~55 nm for 9 μm oxide-aperture VCSEL, the K factor related with the damping is reduced from0.31 to 0.23 ns^(-1). When the etch depth of the VCSEL with 9 μm oxide-aperture is decreased to ~25 nm,output power is increased from 4.03 to 4.70 mW and small signal modulation bandwidth is also increased from15.46 to 16.37 GHz. 5Characteristics of oral methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus epidermidis isolated from dental plaque显示文摘The oral microbial community is widely regarded as a latent reservoir of antibiotic resistance genes. This study assessed the molecular epidemiology, susceptibility profile, and resistance mechanisms of 35 methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus epidermidis(MRSE) strains isolated from the dental plaque of a healthy human population. Broth microdilution minimum inhibitory concentrations(MICs) revealed that all the isolates were nonsusceptible to oxacillin and penicillin G. Most of them were also resistant to trimethoprim(65.7%) and erythromycin(54.3%). The resistance to multiple antibiotics was found to be largely due to the acquisition of plasmid-borne genes. The mec A and dfr A genes were found in all the isolates, mostly dfr G(80%), aac A-aph D(20%), aad D(28.6%), aph A3(22.9%), msr A(5.7%), and the erm C gene(14.3%). Classical mutational mechanisms found in these isolates were mainly efflux pumps such as qac A(31.4%), qac C(25.7%), tet K(17.1%), and nor A(8.6%). Multilocus sequence type analysis revealed that sequence type 59(ST59) strains comprised 71.43% of the typed isolates, and the e BURST algorithm clustered STs into the clonal complex 2-II(CC2-II). The staphyloccoccal cassette chromosome mec(SCCmec) type results showed that 25(71.43%) were assigned to type IV. Moreover, 88.66% of the isolates were found to harbor six or more biofilm-associated genes. The aap, atl E, embp, sdr F, and IS256 genes were detected in all 35 isolates. 8Empirical Study on Customer Equity of the Pesticide Industry显示文摘The focus of modern marketing has shifted from products and enterprise level of traditional marketing to customer level,and customer equity is receiving closer attention. No. 1 document of central government proposed innovating agricultural production and operation system and establishing new agricultural business entities. Seizing these customers becomes a great challenge for pesticide enterprises in the new trend. Therefore,pesticide enterprises need to find out key factors driving customer equity,so as to carry out pertinent marketing and grab the maximum market share. Based on the first-hand survey data,this paper analyzed the influence of value equity,brand equity and relation equity on customer equity by factor analysis and structural equation analysis. It found that the relation equity has the highest driving effect,especially training,community building and visiting experience. 9Retrieving chlorophyll content and equivalent water thickness of Moso bamboo(Phyllostachys pubescens) forests under Pantana phyllostachysae Chao-induced stress from Sentinel-2A/B images in a multiple LUTs-based PROSAIL framework显示文摘Biochemical components of Moso bamboo(Phyllostachys pubescens)are critical to physiological and ecological processes and play an important role in the material and energy cycles of the ecosystem.The coupled PROSPECT with SAIL(PROSAIL)radiative transfer model is widely used for vegetation biochemical component content inversion.However,the presence of leaf-eating pests,such as Pantana phyllostachysae Chao(PPC),weakens the performance of the model for estimating biochemical components of Moso bamboo and thus must be considered.Therefore,this study considered pest-induced stress signals associated with Sentinel-2A/B images and field data and established multiple sets of biochemical canopy reflectance look-up tables(LUTs)based on the PROSAIL framework by setting different parameter ranges according to infestation levels.Quantitative inversions of leaf area index(LAI),leaf chlorophyll content(LCC),and leaf equivalent water thickness(LEWT)were derived.The scale conversions from LCC to canopy chlorophyll content(CCC)and LEWT to canopy equivalent water thickness(CEWT)were calculated.The results showed that LAI,CCC,and CEWT were inversely related with PPC-induced stress.When applying multiple LUTs,the p-values were<0.01;the R2 values for LAI,CCC,and CEWT were 0.71,0.68,and 0.65 with root mean square error(RMSE)(normalized RMSE,NRMSE)values of 0.38(0.16),17.56μg cm-2(0.20),and 0.02 cm(0.51),respectively.Compared to the values obtained for the traditional PROSAIL model,for October,R2 values increased by 0.05 and 0.10 and NRMSE decreased by 0.09 and 0.02 for CCC and CEWT,respectively and RMSE decreased by 0.35μg cm-2 for CCC.The feasibility of the inverse strategy for integrating pest-induced stress factors into the PROSAIL model,while establishing multiple LUTs under different pest-induced damage levels,was successfully demonstrated and can potentially enhance future vegetation parameter inversion and monitoring of bamboo forest health and ecosystems.Zhanghua Xu Anqi He Yiwei Zhang Zhenbang Hao Yifan Li Songyang Xiang Bin Li Lingyan Chen Hui Yu Wanling Shen Xuying Huang Xiaoyu Guo Zenglu Li 2023Forest Ecosystems2023,10,2:0
10Highly Flexible and Broad‑Range Mechanically Tunable All‑Wood Hydrogels with Nanoscale Channels via the Hofmeister Effect for Human Motion Monitoring显示文摘Wood-based hydrogel with a unique anisotropic structure is an attractive soft material,but the presence of rigid crystalline cellulose in natural wood makes the hydrogel less flexible.In this study,an all-wood hydrogel was constructed by cross-linking cellulose fibers,polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)chains,and lignin molecules through the Hofmeister effect.The all-wood hydrogel shows a high tensile strength of 36.5 MPa and a strain up to~438%in the longitudinal direction,which is much higher than its tensile strength(~2.6 MPa)and strain(~198%)in the radial direction,respectively.The high mechanical strength of all-wood hydrogels is mainly attributed to the strong hydrogen bonding,physical entanglement,and van der Waals forces between lignin molecules,cellulose nanofibers,and PVA chains.Thanks to its excellent flexibility,good conductivity,and sensitivity,the all-wood hydrogel can accurately distinguish diverse macroscale or subtle human movements,including finger flexion,pulse,and swallowing behavior.In particular,when“An Qi”was called four times within 15 s,two variations of the pronunciation could be identified.With recyclable,biodegradable,and adjustable mechanical properties,the all-wood hydrogel is a multifunctional soft material with promising applications,such as human motion monitoring,tissue engineering,and robotics materials.Guihua Yan Shuaiming He Gaofeng Chen Sen Ma Anqi Zeng Binglin Chen Shuliang Yang Xing Tang Yong Sun Feng Xu Lu Lin Xianhai Zeng 2022Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,5:0

12Deformation control criterion of shield tunnel under lateral relaxation of soft soil显示文摘Metro shield tunnels under the lateral relaxation of soil(LRS)are susceptible to significant lateral deformations,which jeopardizes the structural safety and waterproofing.However,deformation control standards for such situations have not been clearly defined.Therefore,based on a specific case,a model test is conducted to realize the LRS of a shield tunnel in a sandy stratum to reveal its effect on segment liners.Subsequently,a deformation control criterion is established.The LRS is simulated by linearly reducing the loads applied to the lateral sides of the segment structure.During lateral unloading,the lateral earth pressure coefficient on the segment decreases almost exponentially,and the structural deformation is characterized by horizontal expansion at the arch haunches and vertical shrinkage at the arch vault and arch bottom.Based on the mechanical pattern of the segment structure and the acoustic emission,the deformation response of a segment can be classified into three stages:elastic and quasi-elastic,damage,and rapid deformation development.For a shield tunnel with a diameter of approximately 6 m and under the lateral relaxation of sandy soil,when the ellipticity of the segment is less than 2.71%,reinforcement measures are not required.However,the segment deformation must be controlled when the ellipticity is 2.71%to 3.12%;in this regard,an ellipticity of 3%can be used as a benchmark in similar engineering projects.Shimin WANG Xiaoyu PENG Hang ZHOU Xuhu HE Anqi ZHOU Bing CHEN 2023Frontiers of Structural and Civil Engineering2023,17,5:0
13Identification of oleic acid as an endogenous ligand of GPR3显示文摘Although GPR3 plays pivotal roles in both the nervous system and metabolic processes,such as cold-induced thermogenesis,its endogenous ligand remains elusive.Here,by combining structural approach(including cryo-electron microscopy),mass spectrometry analysis,and functional studies,we identify oleic acid(OA)as an endogenous ligand of GPR3.Our study reveals a hydrophobic tunnel within GPR3 that connects the extracellular side of the receptor to the middle of plasma membrane,enabling fatty acids to readily engage the receptor.Functional studies demonstrate that OA triggers downstream Gs signaling,whereas lysophospholipids fail to activate the receptor.Moreover,our research reveals that cold stimulation induces the secretion of OA in mice,subsequently activating Gs/cAMP/PKA signaling in brown adipose tissue.Notably,brown adipose tissues from Gpr3 knockout mice do not respond to OA during cold stimulation,reinforcing the significance of GPR3 in this process.Finally,we propose a“born to be activated and cold to enhance”model for GPR3 activation.Our study provides a starting framework for the understanding of GPR3 signaling in cold-stimulated thermogenesis.Yangjie Xiong Zhenmei Xu Xinzhi Li Yuqin Wang Jing Zhao Na Wang Yaning Duan Ruixue Xia Zhengbin Han Yu Qian Jiale Liang Anqi Zhang Changyou Guo Asuka Inoue Yu Xia Zheng Chen Yuanzheng He 2024Cell Research2024,34,3:0
14Aureobasidium subglaciale F134 is a bifunctional whole-cell biocatalyst for Baeyer-Villiger oxidation or selective carbonyl reduction controllable by temperature显示文摘The microbial production of either ester/lactones or enantio-enriched alcohols through Baeyer-Villiger oxidation or stereoselective reduction of ketones,respectively,is possible by using whole cells of A.subglaciale F134 as a bifunctional biocatalyst.The chemoselective pattern of acetophenone biotransformation catalyzed by these cells can be regulated through reaction temperature,directing the reaction either towards oxidation or reduction products.The Baeyer–Villiger oxidation activity of A.subglaciale F134 whole cells is particularly dependent on reaction temperature.Acetophenone was transformed efficiently to phenol via the primary Baeyer–Villiger product phenyl acetate at 20℃ after 48 h with 100% conversion.In contrast,at 35℃,enantio-enriched(S)-1-phenylethanol was obtained as the sole product with 64% conversion and 89% ee.In addition,A.subglaciale F134 cells also catalyze the selective reduction of various structurally different aldehydes and ketones to alcohols with 40% to 100% yield,indicating broad substrate spectrum and good enantioselectivity in relevant cases.Our study provides a bifunctional biocatalyst systemthat can be used in Baeyer–Villiger oxidation aswell as in asymmetric carbonyl reduction,setting the stage for future work concerning the identification and isolation of the respective enzymes.Liqun Shen Ran Cang Guang Yang Anqi Zeng He Huang Zhigang Zhang 2020Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2020,28,12:0
15Wet nitrogen oxidation technology and its anisotropy influence on VCSELs显示文摘Vertical cavity surface emitting lasers(VCSELs) are widely used in optical communications and optical interconnects due to their advantages of low threshold, low power consumption and so on. Wet nitrogen oxidation technology, which utilizes H20 molecules to oxidize the Al_(0.98)Ga_(0.02)As, is used for electrical and optical mode confinement. In this paper, the effects of oxidation time, oxidation temperature and oxidation anisotropy on the oxidation rate are explored and demonstrated. The ratio of oxidation rate on [0-11] to [011] crystal orientation is defined as oxidation anisotropy coefficient, which decreases with the increase of oxidation temperature and oxidation time. In order to analyze the effect of the oxidation anisotropy on the VCSEL performance, an oxide-aperture of the VCSELs with two difference shapes is designed and then fabricated. The static performance of these fabricated VCSELs has been measured,whose threshold current ratio ~0.714 is a good agreement with that of the theoretical calculation value ~0.785. 16Development of a novel virus-like particle-based vaccine for preventing tick-borne encephalitis virus infection显示文摘Tick-borne encephalitis virus(TBEV)is an important tick-borne pathogen that poses as a serious public health concern.The coverage and immunogenicity of the currently available vaccines against TBEV are relatively low;therefore,it is crucial to develop novel and effective vaccines against TBEV.The present study describes a novel strategy for the assembly of virus-like particles(VLPs)by co-expressing the structural(core/prM/E)and non-structural(NS2B/NS3Pro)proteins of TBEV.The efficacy of the VLPs was subsequently evaluated in C57BL/6 mice,and the resultant IgG serum could neutralize both Far-Eastern and European subtypes of TBEV.These findings indicated that the VLP-based vaccine elicited the production of cross-subtype reactive antibodies.The VLPs provided protection to mice lacking the type I interferon receptor(IFNAR^(-/-))against lethal TBEV challenge,with undetectable viral load in brain and intestinal tissues.Furthermore,the group that received the VLP vaccine did not exhibit significant pathological changes and the inflammatory factors were significantly suppressed compared to the control group.Immunization with the VLP vaccine induced the production of multiple-cytokine-producing antiviral CD4+T cells in vivo,including TNF-α^(+),IL-2^(+),and IFN-γ^(+)T cells.Altogether,the findings suggest that noninfectious VLPs can serve as a potentially safe and effective vaccine candidate against diverse subtypes of TBEV.Jielin Tang Muqing Fu Chonghui Xu Bao Xue Anqi Zhou Sijie Chen He Zhao Yuan Zhou Jizheng Chen Qi Yang Xinwen Chen 2023Virologica Sinica2023,38,5:0
17On testing proportional odds assumptions for proportional odds models显示文摘Proportional odds models are commonly used to model ordinal responses,but the proportional odds assumption may not hold in practice,leading to biased inference.Tests such as score,Wald and likelihood ratio(LR)have been proposed to evaluate the proportional odds assumption based on models without the assumption.Brant has proposed an independent binary model-based Wald-type test,and Wolfe and Gould have extended the idea to propose an LR-type test.This paper provides a brief review of the Brant and Wolfe-Gould tests for evaluating the proportional odds assumption and evaluates their performance through simulation studies and a real data example.Sample programs are provided in SAS,SPSS and Stata to facilitate the implementation of these tests using standard statistical software packages.This study highlights the importance of evaluating the proportional odds assumption when using proportional odds models for ordinal responses.The sample programs provided in this paper make it easy for researchers to apply these tests in their own analyses using standard statistical software packages.Anqi Liu Hua He Xin M Tu Wan Tang 2023General Psychiatry2023,36,3:0
18A Single-Component Supramolecular Organic Framework with Efficient Ultralong Phosphorescence显示文摘Supramolecular organic frameworks(SOFs),due to the atomically precise integration of the repeated building units,exhibit intriguing properties and consequently potential applications in chemical and materials science communities.However,it remains a great challenge to achieve SOFs with ultralong organic phosphorescence(UOP)in a singlecomponent system.Herein,we report metal-free organic compound 9,9′-(6-(2-bromophenethoxy)-1,3,5-triazine-2,4-diyl)bis(9H-carbazole)(DCzPO)with UOP behavior.Owing to the combination of multiple supramolecular interactions,DCzPO formed a SOF structure with regular hexagonal holes,which shows an ultralong emission lifetime of 398 ms and a phosphorescence efficiency of 3%.So far as we know,among the reported luminescent SOFs,this one is the most highly efficient.This single-component SOF with ultralong phosphorescence will provide a new platform to rationally combine UOP and porous materials.Lulu Song Xiao Wang Meng Zhang Wenyong Jia Qian Wang Wenpeng Ye He Wang Anqi Lv Huili Ma Long Gu Huifang Shi Zhongfu An Wei Huang 2021CCS Chemistry2021,3,11:0
19Structural basis of omega-3 fatty acid receptor FFAR4 activation and G protein coupling selectivity显示文摘Dear Editor,Omega(w)-3 fatty acids are known to have multiple beneficial effects on health,including anti-inflammation,enhancement of glucose uptake and promotion of brain development.'The effects of w-3 fatty acids are mainly mediated by free fatty acid receptor 4(FFAR4,also known as GPR120),a member of G protein-coupled receptor(GPCR)superfamily.FFAR4 plays crucial roles in main-taining metabolic homeostasis via regulating adipogenesis,insulin sensitivity and inflammation,and is a highly valuable target for treating metabolic diseases such as diabetes.Other FFARs include FFAR1(GPR40)which responds to long-chain FFAs(>12 carbons),and FFAR2(GPR43)and FFAR3(GPR41)that respond to short-chain FFAs(<6 carbons).FFAR4 responds to long-chain FFAs,and a common feature of FFAR4 ligands is the existence of multiple cis double-bonds on the acyl chain of the fatty acids,such as a-linolenic acid(18:3,aLa),stearidonic acid(18:4),eicosapentaenoic acid(20:5,EPA)and docosahexaenoic acid(22:6,DHA).'FFAR4 primarily couples to Gg pathway,but also has been reported to signal through Gs and G.Han Yin Asuka Inoue Zhengxiong Ma Xinyan Zhu Ruixue Xia Zhenmei Xu Na Wang Yaning Duan Anqi Zhang Changyou Guo Yuanzheng He 2023Cell Research2023,33,8:0
