| 1 | Stenting for symptomatic intracranial arterial stenosis in China:1-year outcome of a multicentre registry study显示文摘background and purpose A multicentre prospective registry study of individually tailored stenting for a patient with symptomatic intracranial atherosclerotic stenosis(ICAS)combined with poor collaterals in China showed that the short-term safety and efficacy of stenting was acceptable.However,it remained uncertain whether the low event rate could be of a long term.We reported the 1-year outcome of this registry study to evaluate the long-term efficacy of individually tailored stenting for patients with severe symptomatic ICAS combined with poor collaterals.Methods Patients with symptomatic ICAS caused by 70%-99% stenosis located at the intracranial internal carotid,middle cerebral,intracranial vertebral or basilar arteries combined with poor collaterals were enrolled.Balloon-mounted stent or balloon plus self-expanding stent were selected based on the ease of vascular access and lesion morphology determined by the operators.The primary outcome was the rate of 30-day stroke,transient ischaemic attack and death,and 12-month ischaemic stroke within the same vascular territory,haemorrhagic stroke and vascular death after stenting.results From September 2013 to January 2015,300 patients(ages 58.3±9.78 years)were recruited.Among them,159 patients were treated with balloon-mounted stent and 141 with balloon plus self-expanding stent.During the 1-year follow-up,25 patients had a primary end point event.The probability of primary outcome at 1 year was 8.1%(95% CI 5.3% to 11.7%).In 76 patients with digital subtraction angiography follow-up,27.6%(21/76)had re-stenosis≥50% and 18.4%(14/76)had re-stenosis≥70%.No baseline characteristic was associated with the primary outcome.Conclusion The event rate remains low over 1 year of individually tailored stenting for patients with severe symptomatic ICAS combined with poor collaterals.Further randomised trial of comparing individually tailored stenting with best medical therapy is needed. | Ning Ma Yong Zhang Jie Shuai Changchun Jiang Qiyi Zhu Kangning Chen Li Liu Baomin Li Xiangqun Shi Lianbo Gao Yajie Liu Feng Wang Yongli Li Tieyan Liu Hongbo Zheng Dapeng Mo Feng Gao Yilong Wang Yongjun Wang Lei Feng Zhongrong Miao | 2018 | Stroke & Vascular Neurology2018,3,3: | 29 |

| 3 | Photooxidation of arsenic(Ⅲ) to arsenic(Ⅴ) on the surface of kaolinite clay显示文摘As one of the most toxic heavy metals, the oxidation of inorganic arsenic has drawn great attention among environmental scientists. However, little has been reported on the solar photochemical behavior of arsenic species on top-soil. In the present work, the influencing factors(p H, relative humidity(RH), humic acid(HA), trisodium citrate, and additional iron ions) and the contributions of reactive oxygen species(ROS, mainly HOUand HO2U/O2U-) to photooxidation of As(Ⅲ) to As(Ⅴ) on kaolinite surfaces under UV irradiation(λ = 365 nm)were investigated. Results showed that lower p H facilitated photooxidation, and the photooxidation efficiency increased with the increase of RH and trisodium citrate.Promotion or inhibition of As(Ⅲ) photooxidation by HA was observed at low or high dosages, respectively. Additional iron ions greatly promoted the photooxidation, but excessive amounts of Fe2+competed with As(Ⅲ) for oxidation by ROS. Experiments on scavengers indicated that the HOUradical was the predominant oxidant in this system.Experiments on actual soil surfaces proved the occurrence of As(Ⅲ) photooxidation in real topsoil. | 8 | Active shim coils design for Halbach magnet based on inverse boundary element method显示文摘With advantages of small volume,high field strength,and compact stray field,the Halbach array magnet is of great potential in desktop NMR applications.However,field inhomogeneity poses a main obstacle to its applications.Active shimming is necessary for improving the field homogeneity.An active shim coil design method for cylindrical Halbach magnet based on inverse boundary element method(iBEM)is introduced in this work.Shim coils targeting 1st~3rd and Z4/Z5/Z6 spherical harmonic(SH)terms were designed with constraints of field accuracy,resistance,inductance,and current density.Wire loops and symmetric property influence were discussed to further improve the performance of high-order shim coils.Finally,with the prototype of the shim coils constructed,field pattern and SH transformation proved that the coils designed could fit the target SH distribution,though contamination from low-order components existed in highorder terms.A practical shimming experiment on the Halbach magnet has improved the homogeneity from 40.3 ppm to 3.8 ppm in radius 2.5 mm,height 5 mm cylindrical sample space,verifying the coils'compensation ability.This work provides a flexible inverse coil design method for cylindrical Halbach magnet and discusses the high-order shim coil design and implementation,which is potential in nuclear magnetic resonance applications based on Halbach magnet arrays. | Yajie Xu Feng Wang Ya Wang Peng Yu Jingzhong Zhang Xiaodong Yang | 2022 | Magnetic Resonance Letters2022,2,3: | 1 |

| 11 | Phosphate modified carbon nanotubes for oxidative dehydrogenation of n-butane显示文摘Catalytic performance of phosphate-modified carbon nanotube(PoCNT) catalysts for oxidative dehydrogenation(ODH) of n-butane has been systematically investigated. The Po CNT catalysts are characterized by SEM, TEM, XPS and TG techniques. We set the products selectivity as a function of butane conversion over various phosphate loading, and it is found that the PoCNT catalyst with the 0.8% phosphate weight loading(0.8PoCNT) exhibits the best catalytic performance. When the phosphate loading is higher than 0.8 wt%, the difference of catalytic activity among the PoCNT catalysts is neglectable. Consequently, the ODH of n-butane over the 0.8PoCNT catalyst is particularly discussed via changing the reaction conditions including reaction temperatures, residence time and n-butane/O_2 ratios. | 17 | Efficacy of luteolin on the human gastric cancer cell line MKN45 and underlying mechanism显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the antitumour efficacy of luteolin on gastric cancer(GC)and study the mechanism underpinning the action.METHODS:Effects of luteolin on cell growth inhibition,apoptosis,and cell cycle arrest in MKN45 cells were investigated using the cell counting kit-8 assay.Changes in the mitochondrial membrane potential after luteolin treatment were assessed using 5,5′,6,6’-tetra-chloro-1,1’,3,3’-tetraethy lbenzimidazolcar bocyanineiodi-de(JC-1)staining.To investigate whether apoptotic effect by luteolin is related to the phosphoinositide 3-kinase/v-akt murine thymoma viral oncogene(PI3K/Akt)pathway,cells were additionally treated with LY294002,a PI3K/Akt pathway inhibitor.Moreover,the expressions of apoptosis-related proteins,namely B-cell lymphoma 2(Bcl-2),Bcl-2 associated X protein(Bax),Akt,p-Akt,caspase-3,and cytochrome C,were detected after luteolin treatment.RESULTS:The study revealed that in MKN45 cells,luteolin could inhibit the cell proliferation in a time-and dose-dependent manner;block the cell cycle in the Sphase;induce apoptosis;reduce the mitochondrial membrane potential;increase the expression of Bax,caspase-3,and cytochrome C;and decrease the expression of Bcl-2 and p-Akt.Luteolin might be involved in the PI3K/Akt signalling pathway,indicating that this pathway could be a therapeutic target for GC treatment.CONCLUSION:Luteolin could inhibit the proliferation of GC cells and block the cell cycle in the S-phase.The mechanism of inducing apoptosis in these cells was related to the PI3K/Akt signalling pathway. | DING Yajie LIU Feng LI Zhaoyan Xu Yan CAO Nida ZHANG Guangao WANG Rui ZHAO Aiguang | 2023 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2023,43,1: | 0 |

| 19 | The levels of osteopontin in human milk of Chinese mothers and its associations with maternal body composition显示文摘Objective:This study explored the content and change trend of osteopontin(OPN)in breast milk and analyzed the relationship between OPN in breast milk and maternal body composition.Methods:Breast-feeding mothers were recruited in Xinhua Hospital to collect breast milk and provide pertinent information.The content of OPN in breast milk was determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Determination of protein content in human milk was performed via the BCA method.The maternal body composition was determined by the bioelectrical impedance method.Serum glucocorticoid receptorα,adiponectin,insulin,and leptin were determined by ELISA.SPSS 25 was used for statistical analysis.Results:In the longitudinal cohort,106 mothers provided 318 milk samples at different lactation periods.The results indicate that the OPN showed dynamic changes.OPN levels were(343.2±163.5)mg/L during 1-14 days postpartum,(228.4±121.5)mg/L during 2-4 months postpartum,and(204.8±100.6)mg/L during 5-7 months postpartum.The content of OPN was very high in the first 1-14 days postpartum and then decreased.Compared with early postpartum milk,the OPN content of mature milk showed a significant relationship with maternal weight-related parameters.Additional body composition analysis was performed in 88 women at the mature milk phase.The results show that the OPN in milk is related to the mother’s body composition,especially the content of skeletal muscle mass,but not to relevant humoral factors.Conclusions:The levels of OPN in human milk of Chinese mothers showed dynamic changes with the extension of lactation time.The OPN in human milk was related to the mother’s body composition but not related to related humoral factors. | Huijuan Ruan Qingya Tang Xuan Zhao Yajie Zhang Xuelin Zhao Yi Xiang Wei Geng Yi Feng Wei Cai | 2022 | Food Science and Human Wellness2022,11,5: | 0 |
| 20 | Polylysine-decorated macroporous microcarriers laden with adipose-derived stem cells promote nerve regeneration in vivo显示文摘Cell transplantation is an effective strategy to improve the repair effect of nerve guide conduits(NGCs).However,problems such as low loading efficiency and cell anoikis undermine the outcomes.Microcarriers are efficient 3D cell culture scaffolds,which can also prevent cell anoikis by providing substrate for adhesion during transplantation.Here,we demonstrate for the first time microcarrier-based cell transplantation in peripheral nerve repair.We first prepared macroporous chitosan microcarriers(CSMCs)by the emulsion-phase separation method,and then decorated the CSMCs with polylysine(pl-CSMCs)to improve cell affinity.We then loaded the pl-CSMCs with adipose-derived stem cells(ADSCs)and injected them into electrospun polycaprolactone/chitosan NGCs to repair rat sciatic nerve defects.The ADSCs-laden pl-CSMCs effectively improved nerve regeneration as demonstrated by evaluation of histology,motor function recovery,electrophysiology,and gastrocnemius recovery.With efficient cell transplantation,convenient operation,and the multiple merits of ADSCs,the ADSCs-laden pl-CSMCs hold good potential in peripheral nerve repair. | Yi Sun Xiaoqi Chi Haoye Meng Mengjiao Ma Jing Wang Zhaoxuan Feng Qi Quan Guodong Liu Yansen Wang Yajie Xie Yudong Zheng Jiang Peng | 2021 | Bioactive Materials2021,6,11: | 0 |
